#ace attorney tag #maybe i should tag this narumitsu or something. but i dont really care.#gearing up to rereading/illustrating bits of my fic i suppose...i think nick really is too dense to realise he's in love with edgeworth #without some scheming fop trying to intrude. i love villains like kristoph..villains can be fun..witnessing their pathetic folly..#or more like edgeworth would never have mentioned his feelings ever in his life if he wasn't sure phoenix reciprocates.#i want to see it this way because Falling in love during childhood with the person you're going to end up with. is not relatable #there have to be Situations that make you Realise.#as with orufrey i adore the idea of people not working out their romance with that person until their 30s+#but... i mean. even with orufrey i often think how alaira could be qifrey's ex. and oru having been pursued by noble fops through his work #there is that delicate sliver of time before orufrey start living together that such believable situations could have happened.#Then the relief of politely and amicably extricating themselves from those untenable situations #the idea of falling in love age 7 and saving your first kiss for age 35 or something is all very well but more relatable is #people realising how they really feel whilst trying something that ends up feeling wrong.#The comfort and joy of living with your dearest one as if it's platonic - much preferable to trying anything more with anyone else.#But i doubt i will ever portray that or mention it further. it is indeed very delicate to me.#and i really am an OTP FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! kind of person who can barely bear to consider this anyway...NOT a polyshipper i'm afraid !#so i wouldn't mind either if they do have their first kiss in their lives age 35 with each other either. sometimes when things get too hard annabeth disapears. It's not like she does it on purpose. Being invisible is not something she chose willingly. It had been thrusted on her by her mortal family and athena. It was all she was as a kid. It's what made her survive on the streets.

so she regresses back into that instinct. Fast yet big movements in her navigation. Soft steps. Seizing blind softs. Silence in her movements. Barely audible breathing. Hand always on her dagger. Nobody notices not even herself most of the time

Until after the war

Percy needed her help with something but he couldn't find her. He asks around and nobody has seen her. An hour passes and she's nowhere to be found. He starts freaking out until she pops up behind him like nothing happened. He brushes it off thinking its just the war making him jumpy. Until it happens again and again. After a nasty visit to her mortal family, the anniversary of her running away, the anniversary of the war, conversations about luke whenever things get too emotionally loaded she vanishes.

He tries looking for her asks the other campers around they search but they never find her she always finds them first. He thinks for the longest time that she uses her cap but when he finds it her room and shes nowhere to be seen he gets even more confused.

How does she manage to hide away like this ? The entire athena cabin is looking for her as well and they still can't find her. That is until thalia shows up and finds her in less than 5 minutes. When annabeth is gone and thalia is around shes never gone for long

and that is how percy realizes how annabeth hides away and why. It was all she knew as a kid and now and its why thalia always was the one to find her first because she was the same. That's how they became family and percy can't change that. He can't rewrite her childhood

He'll never find her when she hides so he just has to hope he's enough for her to come back

and idk idk cause the way that fandom interacts with characters is so nasty cause i guarantee if ricky were put in the exact same position as ej this season y’all would not be as upset with him. cause yeah ej wasn’t around as much as he (or gina) wanted but that’s because he was busy having to quickly put together a show that a) none of his friends were cooperating on creating (except carlos briefly but like that quickly goes away wtf?) and b) means so much to gina as she co-stars in it and he wants to do his best for her. but suddenly he’s big and mean cause he spent less than two weeks not giving her his full attention and idk if your boyfriend has been with you for months now and you can’t deal with him being busy (with something that benefits you) for two weeks are you really ready for a relationship?

#especially with a senior who’s gonna have to put in extra work for college too so who will ALSO be a bit absent like #cause i’m not gonna blame her it’s her first relationship and she’s still young (arguably 16 or 15 if she was a late in the year baby)#so baby girl is doing fine in my eyes but like get a grip for two seconds!#i do like her before her rabid mob comes for me btw and if you’re gonna foam at the mouth bc someone recognizes a character’s flaws u need #to go outside and disconnect for a second #cause she isn’t a saint and that’s okay bc that’s the point!!!!!!! she’s growing and learning and she’s ALLOWED these mistakes it happens #she learns she benefits she becomes a better version of herself #it’s a huge disservice to not acknowledge a character’s flaws tho and bc of this fandom i’m p sure tim won’t be recognizing anyone’s flaws #this season at all! but anyway!#esp cause this is not a good show idnsisbsi like don’t get upset this badly if it’s already a messy series cause what’s the point #tag: i speakth #hsmtmts #hmm anti rina i suppose
