“You know for a ghost you’re pretty bad at subtlety,” Carlos says without removing his eyes from the laptop screen. It’s the first sign of acknowledgement TK has received from the man since the first day.
“Oh so now you acknowledge I’m a ghost?” If TK wants Carlos’ help then he needs to play along and try to ignore the ticking clock as best as he can.
Carlos finally looks up and at him before immediately looking beside him instead. “I am also acknowledging your stalking habits.”
It’s another thing he’s noticed. Carlos will never look directly at TK, diverting his gaze if he saw TK lurking and now even when speaking to him. TK thinks he understands it but that doesn’t stop him from hating it. He still feels the same for the most part.

Reading a fic that's so well written I wish I could close my eyes and just let the descriptions and atmosphere wash over me, but the dilemma with closing my eyes is, well, I then would not be able to continue reading this fic, now would I.
#fanfiction#fanfic#reading#i don't read longform fic very often but this one is so good wow i'm in awe and clicking next chapter next chapter#the movie it's for I'm not even a particular major fan of itself but I am a fan of the character and the ideas and oh my god#they perfect it to a tee in every way even better than the movie could and yet keep their characterization spot on in line with the og#it's amazing the way they balance the humour and banter with the suspense/tension and drama/horror#and their descriptions are gorgeous/pick out just the right details#their follow-up is more canonical to me as a sequel than the actual official sequel which is wrong in so many ways#and I am in love with their writing style so much my god#i'll say the fic if asked probably will honestly make a rec post for it when I'm done just because wow but here i'm just vague posting#i mean it's 10 yrs old and I've been reading fic for 8-9 yrs and it is truly one of the best I've read in all of that#from all my tags I mean you can labour a guess for the fandom or fic and if you were to guess it wow good job I'd be impressed#but anyway !!! love finding masterpieces I hope this person decided to become an author in those 10 yrs almost *sobs*#I'm gonna say the fic anyway whatever it's From Out the Ocean Risen by Bluestar god it's good (for p/acific r/im)

bihyung is actually sooo funny bc as the book goes on he clearly develops a liking for kdj and helps him of his own will and has a sort of friendship going on with him and even coparents an entire child, possibly doing more to parent her than kim absent father dokja, but the ENTIRE time kdj hates him so fucking much. bihyung shows up anywhere and kdj's narration is like "ugh. it was him. cunty mc cuntface the dokkaebi. i wish he was dead"

no ok we finished episode 2 what they have done to katara is unforgivable. they have completed zapped every ounce of her personality away. why. why. look how they massacred my girl

Thinking about the production of othello I was in where we had a singular black actor and they made her desdemona. So to have a reason to outcast white!othello the director made him a geek and a nerd
#it was a shitshow <3#i was amelia but i also had a bit part in act 1 as desdemona's bodyguard#and the director resolved that by making Actual Amelia the bodyguard who was demoted to desdemona's friend or whatevs at the end of act 1#but she didnt add any lines or anything aside from me acting shocked for no reason so nobody got it#and nobody knew their lines so the director was backstage and u couldnt pause or anything for dramatics#bcos shed assume youd forgotten your lines and shout them from backstage#ah. youth theatre#it was a good play tho bcos at the end i got to scream and fall dramatically and then hold desdemona's hand for 10 minutes

was looking at the school systems in latin america and i think our ministries of education should come together n decide some sort of standard fr bc what a mess
#if they could come together to make our car plate look the same ugly ass shit they should come together to do something useful as well#they should copy paste whatever finland is smoking for basic school n then steal whatever cuba is doing in high education#me personally if i could choose i'd divide the basic years in 4 phases#first (til 4yo) second (til 8yo) third (til 12yo) fourth (16yo)#which is similar to what we have but its divided evenly now. also they should make the school hours shorter#no fucking person should be sitting in a chair for over 6h#three months of vacation is a perfect number to be honest (december january july)#oh n we should actually have decent extracurricular activities OR we should b able 2 choose the classes we need#sure make a standard curriculum for ppl who dont know what theyre doing w their life but also let the rest of us bitches choose#i DID NOT need that many chemistry or biology classes. i was not interested then and im not interested now#and also that insane amount of math classes was unnecessary too. even if i use math in uni now#a perfect curriculum for me would be 25% language 25% history + geography 25% math 10% art or PE 5% sciences#these bitches had me doing 40% math 40% portuguese 20% all sciences + random philosophy#oh n while i think a test to get into university is good it should not be like a straight line bc every student is different#for example when i did ENEM the first time i was baffled on how insane the math and sciences part were#(i love the language history and geography part tho) like i think we should also be able to choose that#like when we sign up we say what uni and course we wanna take and then do a test that has nothing to do with it#we should be able to get a personalized test from the already existing database. for example#if im going to do architecture then my test needs more math physics and history. but not as much language geography and fuckass chemistry#even though i LOVE language and geography#wait this rant went too personal already. anyway change the schooling system#and also fix the way teachers are being taught to teach and also pay them better and fund better infrastructure#cos literally til when are politicians gonna put the tax money up their ass? girl you cant even give 30% to education? kill yourself <3#the way latin america will be stuck in the lower top 50 in education for the next decades is crazy
