Heart. he has such a strong chokehold on me. like I can't explain how this goes and what all things I like about him but I do know I will give up my life (not really a tough thing💀) for him anytime
some honourable mentions- li ming cuz this 18 year old teenager has so much anger and love in him. and he's such a powerful face of a gen z created by p'aof... sigh;
wen mostly cuz he's so relatable as a character who just fell out of love. his lover did nothing wrong, it's just the simple and the hard truth that people can fall out of love the same way they fell in
(why are my favourite characters from mlc💀 hmm something about the realistic and simple thing in the series. also the helplessness of the characters and the situations they are in. the way they try to make it work with how much they have)
Favourite side character:
Tiw(msp) and Max(bmf). it's a no brainer when it comes to as why they're my favourite side character. The support and friendship they offer to their friend? unparallel. Its so nice🤧
Favourite scene:
surprise surprise madafakas. NO BUT LOOK AT THAT. a pure work of fucking art. the lights behind pran being subdued and less while the lights behind pat being more and lighted.
The fact that they kissed not inside a hidden place but outside. In the open. Its not hidden in the confinement of their rooms but its open to the world how much they want each other. The fact that their first kiss was out in the open.... idk I'm not okay

Maybe it's just me then, but besides patpran I actually find akkaye to be horny too? I'm saying this because every time there was tension between them (I mean when they got all up in each other's face, for example the "you punch me, I kiss you" scenes, the judo scene, the shower scene, etc.) in The Eclipse, it was the sexual kind. (it helped that they're enemies-to-lovers because whenever two people start off antagonistic, the tension between them tends to be sexual as opposed to cute or romantic)
Also, the first time akk and aye interact, akk is literally transfixed by ayan's unzipped pants. Sorry but that scene will always read horny to me, akk was definitely physically/sexually attracted to ayan from the get-go and seeing ayan in that school bathroom like that awakened those feelings in him to the point where he had to slap his own face and go "focus" while doing homework because he kept thinking about ayan barely an episode later 💀 Also, "you're thinking about something dirty. If you weren't, what's the problem with me sleeping in your bed?" (ayan nailed it there, akk was totally having dirty thoughts there, you can't convince me otherwise) And imagining a make-out session in his own bed? Pretty horny to me.
Then we have ayan whose flirting with akk was horny so many times, some of his lines were suggestive af, and "her son tastes good too" (after neo said akk's mom's cooking tastes good) still lives rent-free in my head. 💀
Plus, their sex scenes are just fire (especially the one in our skyy), imo they're both very horny for each other 🥵
djkhgdf I mean the seductive lines were kinda aye's brand in the OG show lol but it was in a jokey kind of way? their whole dynamic was aye being 😏 and akk going 😵💫 which was used as the comedic base of the show rather than actual sexual context. also it was never mutual. akk imagined that scenario in episode 6 but I wouldn't describe that as horny djkghf. not that that's a bad thing. but the suggestive content stayed one-sided until that finale scene in OS lol so yeah. patpran win the category imo.

For the V-Day Ask Game: 💀
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY, dear @bengiyo! (Your unintentional V-day gift to me are your stray thoughts posts that give me so many amazing recs!)
💀 Scene that nearly ended you: Oof. If I hadn't known that PatPran would end up together at the end of BBS, it would have been that episode 11-to-episode 12 preview where they say they broke up. I probably wouldn't have been able to get out of bed the next day. (But the previews for Our Skyy 2 spoiled that for me a while ago, lol womp womp.)
So I think it was the beginning of the last episode of Old Fashion Cupake, with Togawa sobbing alone in his apartment. Oh my fucking god. The tears I shed. Oh my god, I still remember. I had just finished nursing my second kid, too, so I was in a real hormonal space, and Kimura Tatsunari just finished me. I still get chills thinking about that amazing scene. (And also Nozue being alone in his apartment, oh good lord.) How many minutes total was that sequence, like, three, maybe? I was feeling shaky for DAYS after watching that. (That ending literally brought me to Tumblr last summer, it was so impactful!)

Our Skyy 2 😋
I really hope the theme for MSP/Tinngun in Our Sky 2 isn’t body switch😭 I absolutely despise body switching shows/movies. That was the theory fans had made when the pictures of them filming came out, Gemini even tried to deny it in a live stream LMFAOO, but why do I feel like the trailer is confirming it. Hopefully I’m incorrect, hoping it’s just a role reversal and not a body switch. Edit: I watched a bit closer it’s def giving role reversal, we escaped the curse of a body switch 😮💨
I’m glad they understood that Enchanté was not it and decided to give us GunCher. When they released the first OUR SKYY 2 trailer during the GMMTV2023 showcase I thought I was gonna skip the ForceBook episode only for ABAAB to deliver. Forcebook deserved better and got that. ❤️
I’m really on the fence about watching the bad buddy/patpran episode. Idk, I unfortunately have a bad taste in my mouth which isn’t letting me separate the art from the artists *heavy sigh*. Hopefully that’ll change when I see people’s gifs when it airs.
When it comes to akkayan and phuphaTian: PREPARE TO BE SICK OF ME 😮💨😮💨

nanon deserves all the praise in the world for making such a good job at being pran!! you can really really reallyyyy feel the pain he felt when he saw pat with ink, then remembering how he felt the same pain when they were in school. poor boy couldn't even catch a break because he had to sit at the same table with his crush and his crush's crush 😭😭😭

so many ways i would rewrite ipytm but the main thing i would do is make ipytm oh-aew focused and also spend longer exploring his switch from acting to marketing.. it's such a key part of his identity and i feel like it was wrapped up so quickly within an ep. oh, also that modc ending ofc!! 💀

the eclipse - i wasn't a big fan of the trailer at first bc the directing just seemed a lil messy but after watching not me and 55:15, it makes me excited to see khaotung and first paired up as leads. and khaotung in a completely diff type of role from the sweet boy roles we're used to. i can't wait!! also they've been friends for quite awhile too so i think the chemistry's gonna be gooood 😍

THE CLOWNING WORKED AJDKSKTK
I feel like a fool, bamboozled in my own house! (so have their parents, been bamboozled I mean) I absolutely can not stop smiling and crying omg they deserve so much of this happiness and they finally got it. Moral of the story: persistence (and patience like you said) is key kids. I knew something was wrong as soon as I started watching, like ahem they don't even look mildly heartbroken, I wonder what's up 👀
AND WE DIDN'T GET WAIKORN!!! Best part of my day (sorry to any waikorn shippers out there sjakfks) because I was actually kinda dreading it.
Uncle Tod (or Yod, I still can't remember his name, I'm sorry 💀) saves the day once again, and that little sequence of them going back after graduation made me so happy
The show might've ended but it will live on in my heart forever 😌♥ we got the best ending possible (still can't believe they clowned us so hard, saw it coming though since none of the previews were accurate, like ever qjfnskg)

i think they find a lot of comfort in the fact that they are together. you know how when they got in trouble for fighting, pat said "at least no one is getting transferred this time"? i feel like this is all that matters to them. no situation is truly helpless, as long as they have each other.
🔥 who will punch someone if they are rude to their partner?
i think we all know they are both more than capable of doing it, but pat is probably more likely to whip out his fists in any situation. with pran, i feel like he would only punch the person if they themselves did something, but if it's someone saying something rude, pran is probably more likely to leave them with a snide remark and a "go fuck yourself". pat, on the other hand, would probably punch someone in the face for offending pran in any way.
the 💀 question is about halloween costumes, and you are like the third person to ask it, but i just don't know how to answer it 😭 i've never celebrated halloween and it's not really a thing where i live, so i can't come up with anything good, i'm sorry 😰

itsay, i mean, the cinematography, the aesthetics, the story, and the top-tier acting, everything about it was so well done and breathtaking and heartbreaking. i have no words to describe that extraordinary show, it owns my heart for all eternity. bad buddy made the genre anew for me, and i'll never watch a bl with the same eyes as before.

definitely itsay. there are so many other shows that are very near and dear to my heart, but none of them come close to itsay. it’s an absolute masterpiece and nothing will ever compare

bad buddy ep 11 💀 my heart would literally physically ache every time i even thought about them during that entire week. i couldn’t rewatch the episode (which i usually always do right after it airs), i couldn’t even look at gifs and posts without crying. only to get played in the end lol fun times
and i also agree with justine and quan… ipytm. going into it, i was trying to keep my expectations low and remind myself that it probably won’t be on par with itsay, but i never expected it to end up being like a completely different show…

1. your all time favorite bl and why
Bad Buddy. It had everything i could want and more. i had high expectations for this since Aof is at the helm, and somehow it exceeded my expectations beyond anything I could have imagined. There was so much story told in twelve episodes and it was paced and developed so, so well. Patpran are also the healthiest couple I’ve seen potrayed in media, and thats what takes this show to the next level for me; as a sucker for established relationships, to be able see them be the best of friends, remain supportive and loving towards one another till the very end, and face every obstacle together, was a dream come true. It’s just a beautiful, feel good drama that subverted expectations and criticised so many harmful tropes. It was made with so much love and attention to detail, had a wonderful message, and a perfect conclusion. ♥
2. that one bl that scarred you for life
gaya sa pelikula and atots - like, i love them both with all my heart, but ep 8 of gsp broke me into smithereens and I haven’t been the same since. i can’t even talk about ep 9 of atots without crying tbh. the cliff scene at the end of the ep was both the most traumatic thing i’ve watched and the most healing. Phupha’s conversation with Tian is both a balm for my soul and a hammer to the heart.
3. is there any bl that made you feel very single?
bad buddy and still 2gether.
4. if you could change one thing from a bl, which one would it be?
I wish Pete’s jealousy had been addressed at the end of dark blue kiss. I hate that it was brushed under a rug, that they never held him accountable for how unfair he was being towards Kao. Even if Pete had every reason to feel distrustful of Non, it doesn’t change the fact that his possessive behavior and unfair demands were out of line.
5. that one bl you detest (don’t hold back): I think watching LBC was a waste of my time. It was decent at the beginning, and then halfway through it became a mess. Golden Blood. The acting was atrocious, the plot was a mess, I still think that Sky needs a psychiatric evaluation, but it was so entertaining to watch.

Moonlight Chicken - If I can’t have an atots special, another earthmix + khaotung show are what I’m living for. Vice Versa looks super fun, Never Let Me Go looks like a better version of Golden Blood, and The Eclipse has Khaotung and First as leads so <333

in today’s analysis of how PatPran’s relationship is extremely healthy:
I don’t think we talk enough about the fact that after the rooftop date and even tho Pat was upset at the end of it he still stayed over at Pran’s, they still slept together and all that
Like he could’ve just easily gone back to his dorm because he was upset, it’s not like Paa would think that’s weird, he could just say they didn’t feel like practicing the play that much that day, but he still stayed and then Pran did what he did in the morning and omg they’re the best boyfriends
