I'm ngl, 9 and X had problems, but I've been hating mk's story since 11 and 1 (god that's stupid) is definitely putting no faith back in for the story. Reptile most likely being used as some minion again instead of an actual character if he's in it, and Kung Lao probably just being reduced to a arrogant sidekick as well. Again. At least they can make it canonically clear this time around tho that Mileena is sapphic 👍.
The gameplay itself (aka what SHOULD be the main focus of the actual game) looks fine. Apparently for every system the gbs cost too much (all that for an mk game?) and tbh the costumes look mid (not bad but certainly not special) for the characters aside from the Edenians.
So. Cool, ig?
No more shitty guest characters tho, joker was lame, rambo was there, and robocop was only there to fit the bill of making terminator v robocop a thing in mk, like how the xenomorphs were there to fit the bill of making predator v aliens a thing in mk in mkx. The horror icons and Spawn can stay tho.

its super fascinating how the machine interpreted my artstyle, i can see it in how it draws the expressions, particularly the eyes and the mouths, there is also in how it does hands and in how much it shows the clavicles, is not *quite* exactly how i draw but it certainly looks like someone that was inspired by how i draw, super fascinating

My Ben ten takes cuz why tf not
Kevin and Gwen while being the best canon relationship in the series only really works because there wasn't the usual slow burn for them to get together that cartoons of that era usually had. If it was dragged on the way other relationships in media was it wouldn't have ended up as good as it is.
Omniverse has the best artstyle and asthetic in the whole franchise next to classic..and Ben ,Gwen and Kevins designs feel like a more natural evolution of the characters appearance than UAF.
And while i do love UAF if you try to act like it's designs are better than omniverse you're wrong.
Anodites are a neat concept but wasn't executed too well with gwen,her being 1/4th anodite is a interesting concept on paper but is overshadowed by the fact that they don't treat her like she's 1/4th anodite
They act like she just isn't human at all.
UAFs main appeal were the storylines and while the buildup to alot of them were great most of them feel flat towards the end..with the exception of the hybreed invasion.
Eon being an alt ben is a way better idea if you ignore R.A.T but still not properly executed enough to be enjoyable.
Omniverse putting Kevin and Gwen on the backseat should’ve lasted for only a season or 2.
They should've been more present for the incursian invasion as well as for the timewar stuff.
Rook issa dope character but sometimes i swear bro is written for the sole purpose of making ben seem dumb.
Ultimatrix didn’t do a single thing noteworthy and should only be used by Albedo.
Omniverse is the only series that makes Bens expanded arsenal actually feel like he has an expanded arsenal.. cuz while Ben had access to at least 40 aliens in UA he still uses the af season 1 playlist so often that it never feels that way.
Kevin being part alien isn't dumb but his father being a plumber kinda is.
Ben and Julies relationship was boring and believe it or not OV did them a favor by finally ending it.
The reboot follows the exact same structure and format as the classic series and if it wasn't for the artstyle and 11 minute runtime yall wouldn't have so much shit to say about it.

Oh dope anons are back I can finally say things I’ve wanted to for a while but haven’t had the courage to off anon:
1. Looking back it’s kind of funny how you can pinpoint the exact moment (in this blog at least) where everything went from ‘I will be normal online for the sake of something’ to ‘if I don’t become a pool toy right now I will fucking die’

☆ (Improvised) Pararai appreciation post!!
- Hi hello this is a very improvised post!!! But I've always been thinking about how this project seems to be made with so much love. There's so many details about the creative process of it I can't get out of my head. So we're appreciating it. Right now.
1) Designs!! The fact they got a bunch of different character designers for EACH UNIT for the sake of keeping it unique, resulting in a cast full of vibrant outstanding characters. That definitely wasn't cheap, but they made the sacrifice for the sake of a varied cast!! And it did pay off (It also must've been a struggle to adapt the designs to the usual Pararai artstyle lol)
2) VA's!! They hired Utaites with more or less experience to be voice actors!! (Zen va, Kei va, Anne va, Toma va). They opened a bunch of opportunities for the ones who are beginners in the Industry like 96Neko, who mentioned Pararai was the first "real project" she's participated in. And the best thing is, they've been doing their best efforts to preserve the identities of whoever wants to remain private. Like 96Neko, who's usually a shadow in concerts. And Kashitaro Ito, who always wears a fox mask (I THINK that's always been his thing but I still want to mention it, don't come at me!!).
3) VA's!! (the sequel). On the voice actor topic, besides hiring Utaites, they also got their hands on some of the most recognized faces in the industry. Like Natsuki Hanae (Ryuu va, known for roles like Tanjiro Kamado), Ayumu Murase (Hajun va, known for roles like Shōyo Hinata) and many others! All the Pararai voice actors are talented, but having some of the most solid VAs on board definitely helped the project a lot not only providing publicity, but providing some amazing work in concerts due to their experience while also having fun little quirks (staring at Natsuki who's quite literally irl Ryuu).
4) The commitment to Rap and different genres!! Most projects do have this, but I still want to talk about it okay!!!! Pararai has a lot of different genres under their belt, we all know that. But I think it's the COMMITMENT to it that really makes me happy. Every group has an established genre, like for example, Cozmez have more "raw" hip hop and trap, while Akyr are Reggaeton inspired, those are their assigned genres. But the producers manage to make a different twist all the time. Even if it's the same genre and formula, they always give it a new unique twist without ruining its essence, thus establishing a solid image for everyone!! This could sound like the bare minimum, because it is, but it's MY post so I'm appreciating it anyways, it's nice :3.
5) Fan appreciation!! The AMOUNT of events for JP Heads is impressive. Listen, most projects have livestreams and concerts, that's pretty much the standard. But Pararai takes this concept to the next level. It's not enough to just have a livestream event on an Anniversary, nuh-uh, they have livestreams EVERY TIME a new phase of RTL drops. And speaking of RTL phases, they also open AT LEAST ONE little pop-up cafe when these happen, with special merch and food + those videos with the VAs and Producers talking about the songs. Also the Dope shows, they're pretty elaborated too. They have little outfits for each VA that are a replica of their character's. Cmon they even have exclusive bonuses depending on where you get your albums from, like in K-pop!!! They kind of spoil us fans lately, but we won't complain🤨🤨
As you can tell, this project is filled with so much Love for its niche. Every voice actor seems to really like their job, some are constantly posting old photos or promoting in personal accs, and I can see why they do. This is a really worthy project, made with nothing but respect to its fans!!! Thanks if you read all of it, I was rambling a bit lol

rewatching the bleach ops so ill ramble off m y thoughts on it real quick before i fall asleep (i watched up to like. episode 120 or so back in early 2022):
the concept of "Stands but they're also swords" is dope as fuck and started out really cool, especially when they introduced that the stands have personalities and "Forms"
The series was fucked from the get-go because Tite abandoned his awesome super-expressive artstyle and sense of fashion to have every important arc take place in an Afterlife where all of the cool characters where the Exact same outfit
The writing is good literally until the end of the first Soul Society Arc. the worst thing you can do after introducing like 15 cool characters and dropping us into the middle of a rly interesting plotline is go "well actually we're gonna wait to get there for a bit. Also I'm still Just gonna focus on Ichigo and his friends since theyre the main characters"

"Good morning sunshine," Rouge sing-songed, shuffling a deck of cards as Shadow stepped into frame.
"What nonsense do you have for me this time?" Shadow asked unenthusiastically.
"Right to the point, glad to see it. Well! Have you heard of the gaming phenomenon known as Fuzzy Puppies?"
Shadow didn't make any kind of reaction, clearly hoping to blow through this whole ordeal before it became his whole day. Rouge decided to take it in stride.
"Eventually the manufacturer realized that a) producing and collecting figurines costs more than most people are willing to spend for a strategy game, and b) cards are cheaper to make and buy, easier to collect, and ultimately more profitable as a whole. Thus… drum roll please?"
Shadow maintained his silence as Omega rolled an oil drum across the grotto in the background of the shot.
"...Good enough. Ta-daaaaa!" She shoved the cards into Shadow's face, filling his vision with brightly-colored designs and text far too small to read comfortably. "Dueling Dogs! Registered spin-off card game of Fuzzy Puppies. Now with additional accessories, terrains, and commands!"
Shadow pushed the cards away from his face. "How much did they pay you to say that?"
"Shadow, please. I may have my price, but I'm no sellout. So, when are you going to play with me?"
"Never. Your asinine games are of no interest to me… plus the artstyle is trash."
"YOU ARE TRASH!" Omega retaliated from the top of his oil drum tower, which was still under construction.
"And a chicken," Rouge dismissed, waving the cards in front of his face as a taunt.
"Oh no you don't," Shadow growled, swatting her hand away. "I'm not going to be fooled that easy."
Not again, his mind supplied unhelpfully, recalling all the times Rouge and Omega and Eggman had roped him into something stupid and unworthy of his time, just by implying that he was unwilling to take the challenge. He was the Ultimate Lifeform! This challenge and all those others were beneath him! He would not be swayed--
"Win a game against me and I won't bother you for a whole two weeks."
Shadow's interest flared in spite of himself. "I don't think that's possible for you," he sneered, trying his best to save face. "And why should I trust your word?"
Rouge's wings flapped in what might have been genuine offense. "When have I ever steered you wrong?"
Shadow glared at her.
"...Rhetorical question. The real question is… is it still worth it to try?"
"I don't know how to play," Shadow pointed out, crossing his arms.
"You're a smart guy, you can figure it out," Rouge wheedled.
"THE WINNER WILL ALSO GET THE PRIVILEGE OF SITTING AT THE BASE OF MY TOWER," Omega added, sweetening the deal by gesturing to his oil drum tower that by all means should not have fit in the grotto.
"Pretty good deal, huh Shaddy?"
"Call me that again and I'm shaving your head."
"First of all, rude! Second of all…"
She slammed a unopened deck of cards in front of him with a grin.
"These are for you~ Make your own doggy army, but remember that you can't win with dogs alone! It's the accessories, terrains and--"
"You say this like I've never played a card game before," scoffed Shadow, who had never played a card game before.
"Well okay then." Rouge grinned at him, dragging a play mat out of nowhere and setting it in between them both on the flat-ish rock that served as their table. "Let's duel!"
As Shadow looked from the designated play spots on the mat to the cards still wrapped in a layer of protective plastic, he steeled his resolve to win this game as quickly as possible.
After all, that oil drum tower looked dope.

i just woke up and had a dream about nonexistent cutscenes to a nonexistent sonic game and i’m so mad it’s not real it was so cute. the cast was sonic, knuckles, rouge, and shadow, but there was also these two old human guys and one of their daughters, or both their daughter idk. the plot was the two old human guys were business partners and best friends but then they were going through a divorce era cause they each screwed each other over in business or something and hated each other so fucking much. and they built an absurdist non-euclidian abstract torture labyrinth as representation of their divorce. years later they’re for real trying to kill each other so the daughter asks sonic and co for help unraveling the secrets of the labyrinth.
idk why it was those 4 specific characters but knuckles and shadow both had dope outfits and were interacting way more than they ever have. shadow had a spiked leather jacket, shades, and platform combat boots. knuckles had his ova hat and a poncho, and his spines were pulled back into a ponytail. sonic and rouge were normal though. the artstyle of the game was like, pseudo low-poly, but they were textured like they were made of like clay or gummies and the lighting was really incredible, like rtx bullshit nice, subsurface scattering up the wazoo. but the humans were flat animated pngs in the 3d environments. like smile for me but like stock photo businessmen and teenage girl.
anyway the first area of the absurdist torture labyrinth was a airport lounge buffet that was entirely shades of beige. the window outside had no airplane or airport it was a perpetual sunset over water. the outside of the building they’re in can’t be seen from any angle. the buffet only served this one chocolate raspberry cream tart, but every time the camera looked away and looked back there was more of it. there was just one plate at first and then plates of the tart covered every single surface. sonic and rouge were talking about how all of this is definitely not normal in any way. the girl was just eating a slice of the tart the entire time
the scene cuts to one of the businessmen standing on some steps leading up to a nice apartment building carrying a briefcase and a bottle of wine. he speaks directly to the camera and says he’s bringing a bottle of wine made by the same company as the tart to the other guy’s apartment to smooth things over. then we follow him walking up like 6 flights of stairs and walking down hallways for like 3 minutes straight with no music no talking just the sounds of him walking and his clothes shuffling. he reaches a door and unlocks it, steps in and heads straight for the floor to ceiling window. immediately the the sound of the shower running is evident from when the apartment door was opened, and a woman’s voice coming from the shower says “hello?! who are you? why are you in my apartment? please leave. please leave” and etc. the guy ignores all this and from his briefcase he starts pulling out parts and setting up a sniper rifle.

Gerbo was sooo much easier than I thought it was gonna be when I first drew him because !! I knew with my artstyle i couldn’t just draw him as a circle and I usually like to modify character’s a bit depending on how weird they’d look in my style, so I extended his body a bit and he looks a lot better than if I had just made him a head HAHAHEHEEHE
