I love Tumblr because nothing matters here truly. There are no influencers. Having followers doesn’t mean anything. It’s just a site where people post their sporadic thoughts and rb pretty pictures. Anyone who thinks any of this matters is woefully missing the point

Really into the fact that despite Bruce being the common denominator between all the Bats (extended as well) solely bc he is the title of Batman, he’s not the core of the family, he’s not the glue that holds them together most of the time. Actually he might be the very element that drives them away from each other sometimes.
But in contrast, Ollie is VERY much the glue of his family! Even though Connor absolutely stepped up to the title of GA after Ollie’s death, he really is still the person who gave them all a home, helped foster a drive, and gave them unconditional love even if it may be imperfect. Between Hal, and between Connor/Roy/Mia/Eddie and Dinah/Emi/Diggle eras, they all share a respect for Ollie that he actually deserves.
And it’s like especially nice because Ollie knows he’s not a likable person, but somehow he is loved by so many people because of the difference he made in their lives.
And it’s equally doubly heartbreaking too because he always isolates from his loved ones even though they need him! But that’s his coping method :(

had a casual lil interview today and got to dress up a lil pretty in a dress and cowboy boots (which the doctor said he loved my texan cowboy boots vibes) instead of my daily scrubs and it made me very happy 🩵
