#I like doing these little introspective thought comics they’re pretty fun #I didn’t get to include this in the comic but I do feel like loneliness is maybe not quite the right word #it’s not quite jealousy or envy either #more like #the sad knowledge that you are lower on someone else’s list of priorities than they are on your priorities #something like that I guess #if this seems like a sad comic don’t worry! Coroika Splatoon but it’s PHIGHTING! Roblox

Hi to my Coroika and phighting fans so how are we feeling about this one

cooked these up in a few hours! These honestly didn’t really take that long at all and were really fun to do since I got to play around with some charcoal brushes (I love doing everything in my power to NOT use midtones lmfao).

I tired to mimic the style of the manga a bit and I think i did relatively okay! I have a lot more of these planned so yeah >:3! Really excited to get to do them sometime

Introducing: A new character🤯🤯

Mmmkay so I had a few (non concrete ideas) for my new pretty fella, so I’ll just start with the most concrete ones. They’re a part of @dxkjf ‘s newscast for “Sunnyside!” They’re a unicorn monster, and the newsroom’s makeup artist!

I had an idea that they would be Julie’s sibling, but I’m having trouble going through with it because they’re so different from their possibly siblings. The only thing relatable with them is that they: have horns, are a monster, and have a color-coordinated pallet (Jonsey is Green, Bea is Orange etc.)

As I think about that, here’s some possible names!

hi hi hi hi i absolutely love your art and i love how everything is just so JAJXJEJFJSJ, so you have any tips on how to make an art piece more skrunkly??

very sharp angular lineart n shapes but mixed with flowing soft shapes also. Like angular hands and face and body shape but soft hair and clothing and round eyes. or vice versa give em a round body and hands and sharp hair and hard facial features. For sketches pencil texture is everything, don’t do much shading just “color in” the sketch in grey scale based on character colors. Also extra lines on face and skin to give more texture and interest. Idk idk here’s some pics

I never know how to actually give good art advice so please. be nice to me

my favourite thing to do when designing outfits for characters is for sure thinking like. “can i imagine this guy taking the time to put this on in the morning.” cuz this DOESNT mean that characters won’t ever have fancy and fun outfits, but i feel like it does mean that if they DO then that’s also gotta say something abt the character

#and it could be a BUNCH of different things. maybe this character just likes dressing up. maybe it’s religious. maybe it’s to impress #etc etc #STUFF LIKE THAT #i love when you can just like. read into characters by looking at what they’re wearing or what they’ve got in their rooms n stuff #if your dnd adventurer who essentially hikes around is wearing like. a bunch of fancy clothes then maybe that implies that this guy is like #willing to go through pretty significant discomfort and inconvenience just to look good #ITS RLY FUN I THINK
