Max moved away from Arcadia, her childhood hometown, to Seattle, unwillingly. And then came back.

Rachel moved away from Long Beach, where she was raised/ her childhood hometown, to Arcadia, kinda unwillingly. Has been wanting to get out ever since.

It seems like Max got what Rachel had been dreaming of-- to return to her hometown.

Max moving away is part of what broke Chloe down. (The idea of) moving away with Rachel is what built Chloe back up.

But it's also quite different since Max couldn't fit in with the big city and returned but Rachel's always wanted to go back to that big city.

What if Rachel and Chloe were childhood best friends, basically Max and Rachel switched places? Would things really be much different in the end?

Making otome environment in 3D (massive project)

so as I've been working on some small props from otome games, I thought... I wanna model entire rooms, environments from these otome games, and export them to VR so we all can have a tour and BE in the moment hehe (kinda like a movie set tour). It’s my little dream 💭

JUST IMAGINE BEING IN YOUR FAVOURITE MAN’S ROOM IN REAL TIME! YOU CAN MOVE AROUND, TURN YOUR HEAD TO LOOK WHEREVER! ISN’T THIS EXCITING???

So I've thought it out, planned a bit, and here are some of the steps I will be taking to make it happen.

Gathering references - pretty much any image/screencaps I can find of bois rooms, gardens, houses, outdoors, of the otome games I've played. (Some from google, some from my phone and switch lol)

Study furniture/rooms & fill in the cut off sides - usually, otome game backgrounds are limited to one image from a single camera angle. So I will kinda design the 3rd and 4th wall of the room to make it a complete space)

Floor plan - need to make sure all furniture and objects are properly scaled and fitted into the room based on the screencaps

Modeling Blender assets - reappearing items like wooden planks, pillows, mattress, windows, books, rocks, grass, trees, etc can be modeled once and reused. Varying the texture and directions will make it look less repetitive.

Model the Room/place - using the assets and the reference image I build the actual environment.

UV mapping and Textures - Uv map objects that need unique textures, then import the UV overlay to clip studio to paint the mesh on image surface. Import the images back to Blender and wrap the textures accordingly.

Lighting & details - yeye lighting, details, and all that fun stuff at the end to tweek and make things perfect!

Export! - as of now, I will probably use sketchfab, a website you can view 3D models on. If you have oculus or vr devices, I think you should be able to view it using that as well.

These are just rough steps for me to follow, I've started steps 1-4 all at once simultaneously, but I'm sure there's more stuff that needs to be done. Ik it will take a longgg time... I probably will end up doing rooms and then piecing it together to create the whole thing, so random rooms may be done in random order, and yeah... not the whole universe at once lmao. I've also gotten a lot of help from my stream since there are a lot of good 3D artists I respect. Probably will continue to get more help lel. These posts are also for myself to keep track of the progress,,, so yeah!

Games I'm planning to do: Ikevam, ikesen, ikepri, ikerev, diabolik lovers, olympia soiree, collar x malice, piofiore, variable barricade (maybe more)

Everytime me and my brother watch a new series, we always go through and pic who the other and others in our lives remind us of in the series and we make little stories of us or our characters in that universe

I like sweet things, but there is a limit like sweet tea, but extra sweet is too sweet

Lastly, hm.... I get visions of the future and I get deja vu after I live the dream that occurred. It's been going on for years after I drew a pic of God holding the earth at church and sometimes the moment is exact, others make me feel deja vu, but it doesn't happen like in the dream.

i mentioned this on disc, but while i usually answer these ooc, this is gonna be some ic stuff because i love silly goofin. no raisa here because when it comes down to it she is effectively their temporary medic and she knows she cannot judge these people, except for elegy being very nice and lel being a little bit of a dick. also if my players want major npcs. send yr own ask and i'll do it.

eirlys -

sicarii: a good friend. it's nice to have someone who understands me as well as he does around... i worry for him, but i know he worries for me too, so all's fair.

sunder: it is probably understandable why i was wary of them at first, but they're too wonderful to be frightened of. having kitty around is good for my nerves, i think. and their conviction and curiosity reminds me of better times.

nara: she's the captain! i think she is very sweet and i am glad she has a family that is supportive of her. she is also terribly brave, which i both admire and worry about.

aandine: i think he has a lot of wisdom, but he is so quiet. his comfort with death is jarring, but admirable. i wish he was a bit less grouchy, but i'm in no position to complain.

nobody -

tobu: the kindest young man. we all understand that he is to be protected. the ways my mother has hurt him infuriate me, and that recovering my name led to his exile too is something i regret more than anything. also he is rhubarb's favorite, and my favorite too.

haru: he is a well-intentioned boy, but he does not seem to be aware of his immaturity. we could be more honest with him, but he could be more accepting of us as well. i am worried that he will he unreasonable about his brother. and also his art is nice.

anton: i worry for what will happen once we kill his mother--she seems the type to tie her reborn to herself. i can't blame him for his mother, nor can i blame him for being too naïve to realize her cruelties. he is so young--i wonder how he first died? i also wonder about how his gears function, because it seems far beyond the abilities of an elemental without additional arcane training.

deliverance: i am a little bit upset that she is leaving us, because she promised we would be friends. but, zag and silas are still my friends (i think), so maybe we can be friends from far away. she is so pretty and powerful, and i wish i was more like her, but we are too different for that to be possible, i think. i'll miss having someone else who understands the workings of magic!

zag: i need to talk with him, but i worry that invading his dreams will seem too similar to our mutual acquaintance. he is large and strong and i think we are friends. if nothing else, we are bound by the monstrousness that lives in our skulls. i wish he were with us now; i miss his aura.

silas: i understand why she left, but i still think it's strange that someone as interesting and important as her is willing to be a background player to someone else. if she ever returns, i think we will have good conversations and better ways to calm ourselves. i'd like to study with someone again.

ibis: we are the same, in a way. it is less lonely to become if you do it with someone else. i think they are so powerful, and they are kind to me. i understand them, i think. their feelings for yaros frustrate me, because they can cloud their reason. they are more than they allow themselves to be, even now, and i want them to realize that potential. i think that they are very.

des -

fish: i love them. i need to find them. i would marry them again in a heartbeat.

priscilla: her wealth, however much she tries to be the ally of the working class, is frustrating. but she means well, and i'm sure she's helped a lot of people. her family seems... complicated.

la noyee: i don't miss him.

aggie: sweet, but she's kinda condescending. i don't think she sees me as an adult. cool magic, though?

titfortat: i think my dad is trying to consume them? which isn't great. i need to protect them from that, even if it's kinda terrifying.

keeper -

morgan: i want to know her better! she is so interesting but so withholding. i understand if she has issues with herself, but that doesn't mean i have issues with her. she seems so powerful, and the bees sing for the thought of her.

shepherd: he is so nice and i am so worried for him so often!!! he was such a great houseguest too. i feel bad for hurting him with my magic. the bees love him for his carrion.

metonymy: makes me a little bit uncomfortable, but i guess they're just a very attentive person. i'm not sure why they've latched onto me over shep and morgue, but i suppose it's kind of flattering?

aria: i'll bring her back if she lets me. hot. suspicious, but we have similar interests, and who am i to judge?

blank: deserves better. i will protect them and help them avenge thenselves. i'm glad they trust me. i hope i can maintain that, for once.

chini: can't be trusted. kind of an asshole even before the whole dedicated to bela thing.

ira: she and i get along well. her magic is fascinating and her situation is familiar to me, in a certain way. i know she'll see sense.

kairii: adorable, but unwise. reminds me of mae in ways i can't figure out. i hope she realizes that she's doomed if she doesn't act soon.

stras: self-obsessed asshole who considers himself more enlightened than the rest of us. which he is not. takes himself too seriously, on top of all that.

stray -

clem: i hope she can find comfort in the world soon!!! i am so upset about how the church treated her and i am glad i can help her.

emile: so nice and so strong! they seem very mature and smart too. i wish she let herself have more fun, and i want to know more about her. i wonder why she left her old work but regardless i love that she has big claws sometimes.

posy: she's like me! obviously we aren't from the same place but she's really cool and beautiful and good at magic. i look up to her, but i hope that she's okay with that because i wouldn't want to intrude or anything.

ragamuffin: i wish i could feel feelings as grandly as he does! she and splat always make me smile with their performances. his clown outfits are so delicate and pretty, too.... i like the way she carries herself a lot.

xochi: i worry about him in fights a lot. he's powerful with magic but his body is not ready for the world! or at least the cold. if he has to look at the stars, i hope he likes them. he is very sweet and his jokes make me laugh.

solace: i owe her so much! i think her old god hurt her in ways that gods should never hurt, and i think that her hurt loves to eat her alive. i don't know if she understands how much i value her but i think she is so amazing and her wizardly spells are really incredible. i hope she stops hurting. i hope i never make her hurt again.

how to tell someone hasn't actually watched king of the hill

i cant speak for the advertising since i dont recall having ever seen any (show's initial boom was when i was a small child lel) but the writing is heartfelt and genuine. there's one or two parts of specific episodes that we would consider kiiinda in bad taste today, but the rest of the time, the humor is lighthearted or silly, only ever punching up and pretty much only at rich ppl and politicians. Hate is shown as a negative thing, the characters known to hate (like hank's dad) are not glorified--but not entirely vilified, because the characters understand the hateful are also people. love prevails. at the end of the day everyone is still family, still friends, still love each other despite the wacky adventures and mistakes people may have made of the day(s)

mean spirited???

hank hill stands up for a prostitute and makes her asshole pimp leave her alone so she can follow her dreams and live her life. he (finally) stands up to his shithole dad about how he treats his mom and other women. he supports and defends bill despite the man being a mentally ill trainwreck, even when everyone else is sick of dealing with him, because they've been friends forever and he knows that under the misery, bill is a good person who deserves kindness and love too

dale gribble helps the native american character get reparations and land back from the government. dale's dad is revealed to be gay and while dale was confused about it for a bit by the end of the episode dale fully accepts and loves the man, even mentioning him and his boyfriend fondly in later eps

i could go on but like. man. if you never watched it and/or the last time you even thought about the show was in the 90's, your opinion of it is probably wrong

So where I live, Cape Spear is like idk a 20 min drive and there’s this old abandoned military base from WWII (nfld was a major risk, we were the most Easterly point of North America and if we were captured—which would of been easy if they didn’t station 293847399383647393 soldiers here lol, cause we’re a small island! Well, we’re not a small island, but we only have a population of 500 000 right now and we’re approximately double the size of Great Britain lolllll. Before WWII our population was approx 280k, so I mean, that’s literally less than 1 person per sqkm, close to .5 lel. Right now we’re juuust over 1 person per sq km, but there’s been a steady population decline here the past 30 years. It boomed in the 50s-80s, but lately, it’s been slowly going up again the past few years, mostly because a starter home here is approx $200,000 compared to like $600,000 in the mainland lmao.

ANYWAYS I’m ranting.

It's the 31st of October and KJMS x Diplomat Hotel x Ed Caluag is trending. I also happen to love Baguio and have been thinking of visiting yet again, just because, why not?

Let this be a rundown of curated horror stories from someone who has overactive imagination. Horror stories even the most ugh ones actually make me scream to the top of my lungs. Umaatras talaga ako e. However, I like ghost hunts in old streets and spaces like Manila and Baguio. LOL. Iba 'yung live experience and for me, there's actually a world in between the living and the dead for such a long time.

I guess this roots back to my first encounter where I saw my Inang Sinta's last breaths. It was a sweltering summer just in time for the our sleepy town's pista ng bayan. I think I was around 8 or 9 years old. I was playing nonchalantly and I was called by my older cousin. I didn't know ina is passing. Days before, she even had her signature red mani and pedi from her suking tagakutkot ng kuko. She had to get a bedrest because she seemed to have a slight fever. Nothing too serious, though I knew she's nursing a stomach trouble for quite some time. So, there I was. I didn't know how to process it but as I saw her breathe her last breath. It was not so much of a struggle and looking back, she looked peaceful.

Not sure if this where some weird things started, but I started to have far and few lucid dreams. I do not generally believe in paranormal stuff then even when mom and my brother would always have their versions of amulets along with their rosaries. LOL. Badtrip nga ako sa mga laway kahit sinasabing nababati ako ng mga lola, tita at strangers. UGH.

At first, it was just random deja vu like field trips, specific moments in class and the like. However, when I was a frosh in nursing, I started to have more lucid dreams like being in an all girls' school. Of course, I laughed it off as I shared to my soul sister. Since she is a fan of the paranormal, she told me that it might be a premonition. I brushed it off because nowhere in my literal and figurative dream that I want to be in an old classroom with all girls in the hood. The blackboard was old and there was a quiz that made me wrinkle my nose. A year after stopping from school, I found myself in an old classroom with all girls downing an accounting exam. I wrinkled my nose and stopped. DAMN. Siguro kaya C+ lang ako sa accounting dahil dito. Hanap sisi lang but, hey. GAAP naman is pretty practical: economic entity, monetary unit, and time period. 'Wag ako. Saka puwede na AI 'yan these days. LELS. I remember kulang ng less than 1 PHP 'yung balance sheet ko. So graphic. It's traumatic. I had two Baguio trips where I had tongue in cheek shit shows. One was a ghost hunt and another is an exclusive solo tour in Diplomat Hotel.

The ghost hunt was actually just something I chanced upon and dahil gusto ko may something new every punta sa Baguio, sige. Naubusan na ako ng ideas PLUS my friends are really up for it. So ayun na nga, wala lang talaga siya sa umpisa pero, as we progressed, ang stress. 'Yung highlight niya is 'yung public cemetery ng Baguio. LERKZZZ. 'Yung mga fetus and babies na graves. Plus 'yung center spot doon is so weird. As in. Doon daw na-corner 'yung mga American soldiers back in the time of war.

Before I talk about the Diplomat Hotel "exclusive" tour, let me share my experience in La Casa Bianca. I chanced upon it from Paula Peralejo's recos. I love its location because it's accessible but not in the bustling side of Baguio. I booked it online and got a good deal. When we arrived, I was welcomed by no less than the Laperal House right across it. Syempre, soul sister ko was so giddy, since she devours horror stories. As in high na high siya. In fairness, I love La Casa Bianca and might spend a night there yet again. LOL.

So ayun na nga. Ginamit ko ang aking angking-galing para makapasok sa Diplomat Hotel kasi by special arrangements lang siya. LOL. My soul sister wanted to check it out and see me chicken out before she flies to SG. So, ayun na nga. Nadali ako ng bata sa may fountain. And of course, my most graphic lucid dream is when I saw how mom died, two weeks before siya madeads. HAYYYYY. Sabi sa church noong may Life in the Spirit Seminar ako na nahatak ako, 'yung gift ko daw is prophecy. HAY. Pinag-take kasi kami ng quiz tapos ayun. Sabi ko nga, okay naman na ako ng ibang gifts, 'wag lang 'yang prophecy na 'yan. LOL. Maging prophet na lang ba ako kesa maging alipin ng AI? Hahahahahahahaha. At least, may choice ako saka in demand naman mga prophets kahit hindi legit. LELS.

Siguro, 'yung pivotal moment ko sa belief ko is when I experienced astral projections. Yes, plural. I would talk about this when I am ready. HUHUHUHUHUHU. Akala ko nga simpleng sleep paralysis lang e. OOOOWEEEEMM. I just cut-pasted the paragraph above kasi ni-move ko and guess what? Ang nag-appear is 'yung last night copy-pasted ko. LOL. First time in history, baby. Baka nanay ko na naman 'tong nanga-agit. Hahahahahaha. Tigilan mo ako, ma. Ang aga-aga. Labyoooo. Sunduin mo na ba ako? Hahahahaha. I think ready naman na ako, hindi ko lang sure kung ready ka ba. 'Wag mo akong subukan. 'Wag mo akong i-trigger with thanks. Paki note. Duly note, please. Syempre, there's the suking PGH and Manila Doctors na ang stress talaga minsan lalo 'pag ako lang mag-isa sa corridors. Pati elevators, mhie. 'Yung Baler na balete tree na I swear may sumusunod sa akin pero hindi creepy. Parang mala-Avatar feels. 'Yung Siquijor and Danjugan encounters na sobrang in my face and up my thicc ass. LOLOLLOL. Plus, Diliman at night. As in, ilang beses na ayoko ng bumalik doon kasi ang lakas nila. I cannot. Kaya pala Diliman name niya. Pakshet. To clarify, 'pag may nararamdaman ako, talagang prayers lang and overthinking ang baon ko. Lagi ko sinasabi sa entities, 'wag magpakita kasi hindi ko talaga kaya. Isa pa lang nakita ko irl. 'Yung babaeng walang face sa jump train ng MRT. HUHUHUHUHUHU. Sabi ko naman nung na Anong dream kong next level ng horror shitshow ko? This is sooo crazy kasi nga libre naman mangarap. Pyramids of Giza. A non-mainstream castle somewhere in EU. Japan's Forbidden Forest. HUY. Hahahahahahah. Shet. Baka cardiac arrest na abutin ko neto, but as I said previously, I get scared easily, but I go for it anyway. Sana 'pag natupad, madocument ko ng photos and vids kasi hindi ko talaga kayang pagsabayin. Can I just say also na mas takot pa rin ako sa commitment, sa unknown, sa mga buhay na buhay at g na g na walang moral compass, at lalo sa mga waking and walking dead. Good morning, WL Tuesday! Watch the impromptu Live Mukbang we did at Wildflour here hahaha. Sayang, we can’t see the live comments on the replay. But it was so much fun!

I brought Pancho to my ninang’s salon (Nimfa Ferrer Salon at Sekai Center, Greenhills) for the very first time. Until yesterday, I’m the only one who’s ever cut Pancho’s hair. I’ve been too scared because he would have uncontrollable sudden movements and I couldn’t handle it if he got hurt huhu. Thankfully, I’m more confident with his development and I know he is more able to control himself!

Kuya Edwin, I think, was a little nervous and he didn’t want any accidents so Pancho’s haircut ended up not as polished as we’d hoped haha!!! But it’s definitely a great start!! Also, Pancho had a stye yesterday and you can see it in the post-haircut picture. Cutie. It’s even much better today!!

I haven’t been on a treadmill in 6-7 years (I think)!! After my workout with Coach Andre of Fitnessmobil, he told me to run on the treadmill for ten minutes. Thankfully, walang ibang tao sa condo gym so early in the morning and I was able to remove my mask.

For the first 3 minutes, I was running at a speed of 8 (not suuuuper fast, but it was a run), and then I remembered Jim’s advice about interval running. I did 20 seconds at 4.5 speed and 40 seconds at 8 speed. Hindi ko napansin at all because I was watching Beyoncé’s Sweet Dreams music video —- my go-to treadmill song!!! Tapos Love On Top after! Woohoo.

Ten minutes isn’t amazing for most people, but for me, it’s crazy that I was able to do that after an intense workout! Cut to: sakit ng katawan ko today hahaha!!

Vito’s been potty-trained since he was 2, but we’ve been used to putting him in a diaper when we go out. On a whim, I put him in his boxers and took him to Kidzoona with me. His yaya — who stayed behind — was concerned and was like, “Baka maihi siya!” Sabi ko, “Okay lang. Kaya may extra clothes kami.”

He was playing for an hour and socializing with other kids (so cute). Suddenly, he looked at me and held my gaze. Even with his mask on, I could tell! I said “You need to big boy wiwi?” Of course he said no because he wanted to keep playing haha. I brought him to the restroom anyway and successfully peed!!! Oh I’m so proud!

This is a special picture based of a poem Xiao Chi (A little Pool) by Yang Wanli for the Asian Pacific Heritage Festival - Art Exhibition. It depicts a beautiful summer’s day where a spring water is quietly creating a streamlet, shadows of trees reflect in the water, several lotus leaves and a lovely dragonfly under the soft sunlight. It forms a lively picture of a little pool, showing a harmonious relationship among things in nature. I wanted to show that thorugh my picture with delicate tones and feelings of relaxation.

I also wanted to use this poem, because it reminded me a lot when I first visited Beijing and I saw blue dragonflies for the very first time. It was really a spectacular sight amongst the Lotus flowers and I remembered how much I enjoyed being there. That is why this picture is close to my heart, and I hope to show everyone the beauty of China within this and the tranquility I felt being there.
