QUEEN OF TEARS FINALE

This drama is gonna tug your hearstrings.I am literally crying and laughing at the same time.Kudos to the cast for their incredible performances.

Finally the moment that everyone is waiting for. In the last two episodes Hae In finally underwent surgery but in order to live she has to pay a price and that is to lose all of her memories. We can always create new memories but we only have one life left to live.Baek Hyun Woo and Hae in finally sorted out their feelings prior to the surgery but Eunsung schemed to separate the lovely couple once again.

Baek Hyun Woo's character appears to be the knight and shining armor.Not only was he framed by Eunsung but he took a bullet for Hong Hae In. He was the kindest and adorable male lead I've ever seen which only exists in dramas.But viewers can't help but swoon how smart and talented he is. He had this undeniable charm that makes Hong Hae in fall in love with him all over again.

Hong Hae In remained very cautious even after the surgery.Though she lost her memories but she still acts like her old self. Eunsung tries to distort the truth but his plans failed.

Eunsung was a child yearning for a love and affection from his mother who abandoned him and never kept her promise.He suffered in the hands of his adopted parents and struggled to live a better life.His mother was just to cruel not only for the false promises she made but for pushing all the blame to him even after he died.Eunsung is one example of how pain changes a person.The mother and the son needs to wake up and they showed no sign of redemption.

In the end justice was served.Hyun Woo was so fortunate to have a very strong support system from his family and to have a trusted friend who always had his back.

I can finally sleep in peace knowing Hae In and Hyun woo lived happily and had a child together.manifesting that this too would happen in real life.

For the first time in so many years that I ship another kdrama couple.I mean they look so adorable together.Fingers crossed hoping that they will work in a new project together.

The OSTs are the best.With all of the bts and snippets from the drama I think there is no moving on.Promotions are going well for this drama.As they always say strike while the iron is still hot.It will always be one of the best dramas this year.

P.S. I am hoping to see KJW and KSH to attend awarding ceremonies this year.Probably walking on the red carpet together.

I have seen some snippets of their interviews and they both are introverts just like me.I can relate hahaaa.Btw I need watch a new show tonight to finally say goodbye to this drama.

Ship and HC what you want--but I hate Ravage & Soundwave parent-child headcanons so much. I'm finally gonna say it. They can be adult best friends rather than lovers, but the family thing makes my skin crawl. Here's why.

The following is just my personal opinion. Everyone who reads this is free to engage with it, but I don't want to fight about it, and I am not trying to make anyone give up their headcanons, whether those are romantic, sexy, familial, or just friendly.

(The Ravage I write in my fics and RP, like ES Ravage, prefers she/her pronouns. I am aware that Ravage uses he/him in other continuities.)

I am really freaking uncomfortable with most of the common familial headcanons about Soundwave and Ravage, Soundwave and his cassettes in general, and the whole cassette thing. And I will also die screaming before I tag erotic content between two fully sapient beings as "bestiality".

I would rather think of Ravage and Soundwave as bonded lovers (and the birds as her siblings) then think of Soundwave as either of the following:

An Abusive Father who sends his own children directly into the heat of battle out to fight as child soldiers; or

A Large Adult Son who allows his parent and her siblings to be mutilated so he can drag her off into places like mining colonies and war zones, where she ministers to his emotional needs while also fighting for him in the heat of battle, and has no life or relationships of her own.

Because no matter how many cat memes you draw, neither of those things is cute. You have the right to ship whatever you want to ship same as me, but I don't want to read either dynamic.

He is NOT the single father of the year if he's yeeting his children onto battlefields.

He is NOT a good son if his mother is telepathically linked to him, programmed so that he can yeet her out into battlefields in less than a second, and unable to have any romantic or QP partnerships of her own.

If he is her lover (conjunx) or her QPP (amica), and the meeting they had in Rodion was a meeting of two neurodivergent adults who learned how to help and support each other in dealing with their disabilities, and they both want to be together even in the depths of hell, then they have a much less horrific and unhealthy relationship.

I was once made to play IDW Ravage as not Soundwave's partner in a dreamwidth game because they didn't like the ship, and she was a miserable, unhappy person who had given up her entire life to serve Soundwave and Megatron.

This really solidified my feelings about not just why I think their relationship is romantic and adorable, but also why I think a parental relationship between them, going in either direction, is incredibly fucking gross.

Making them mutually interdependent neurodiverse adults with complementary support needs, who love each other in a mature way or even an 'adult' way changes the narrative.

If Ravage is Soundwave's life partner, then the forced cassettification has imposed a power differential on them, but it is significantly lessened by the fact that they were already together and interacting as grown-ass adults who loved each other before that took place.

In other scenarios, she's being thrown by her father up against mechs 4 times her size, OR she's a devoted parent who has been emotionally enslaved by cassettification and can't even have an adult relationship of her own because who the hell is going to want to be her partner knowing that she has an unbreakable telepathic link with her son? And you can't really say she's trading this emotional labour for protection when he's yeeting her out into the front lines every third episode.

IDK, I think glorifiying parents who send their children to war and enmeshed parenting that renders someone an appendage to their child is a lot less problematic than letting them meet as adults and learn how to help one another.

Every time I see someone draw humanformer Soundwave and Ravage as a collared pet, I want to scream, but I don't, because everyone has the right to write and draw what makes them happy.

My friends know NOT to send me links to art that diminishes Ravage.

Ravage may look like a cat, but she passes the Harkness test, and her entire arc in IDW was about getting people to respect her as an equal despite the thing where she looks like a cat.

Her brain and spark are equal to that of any other Cybertronian. It's not bestiality. There's no reason a telepath would care more about the shape of her body than the feel of her mind.

I would rather think that she's getting love and respect and hot overloads from Soundwave than think that she's selflessly devoted to him and to Megatron for all of her days until Tarn locks her into that fucking refrigerator. Or think that she's a child soldier.

Happy #AudioDramaSunday wanderers! It is a beautiful day out but not in @camlannpod episode 8 which ripped me asunder. It really put me through the wringer and I will never forgive and never forget. Super well done!! But I am emotionally scarred <3

@souloperatorpod episode 9 early release had me sobbing into my pancake batter and made my pancake taste sad. Tot is doing a really really good job but also. Sad pancake.

@tellnotalespod 8.5 also made me sob this week. I've mentioned this before but the way Leanne writes queer people is just endlessly beautiful. Each character, no matter how small the role, lives and breathes and grieves even in death. I absolutely adore Tell No Tales

@woebegonepod 155 was delightful and not heartbreaking for once! Getting to see Chance and Marissa friendship AND hearing from Edgar AND another Ty Betteridge? Absolutely perfect no notes.

The idea that Sparrow is the closest to Nicky is one I really vibe with because we know groupchattrio stayed close and Lark and Sparrow never separate. I know obviously thay rome has been the one pulling for mencken all aling but i cant help but feel even more angry at ken and shiv for letti g this happen. Been watching Suits, it’s Very Good

I mostly knew it as “the show that made Meghan Markle famous”, and to be fair, she is great in it

But no one told me about Gina Torres as the managing partner of the law firm, and she absolutely owns that role.

(you might know her as Zoë Washburn in Firefly -- and tbf I’m more into Zoë as a character, but Gina Torres plays an *incredible* Jessica Pearson! Looks amazing, dominates every room she’s in, decisive and respectable leader, somehow I still buy that she has a strong moral code act despite “laywers being dicks to each other” being the entire point of the show, and she’s just as much in the muck as any of them)

And apparently in the later seasons my fave Dulé Hill joins the regular cast!! So yeah lots to love about this show, and I haven’t even talked about the actual story or main characters yet.

They just don't impress me as much lol #i probably have Side Character Bias lol #but consider.... Gina Torres #and frankly Rick Hoffman as Louis!! He was so hateable as the heel on that one Leverage Episode. and here he takes assholery to New Heights #but I don't even Love To Hate Louis! I often sympathize with him... but then! He reminds you how Horrible he is!#i have Very Complex feelings about Lewis #also I adore Mike's grandmother Edith. just finished st4 and i heard a lot of talk that it was bad but ???? that was so good what r y’all talking about ????

#last ep had me SOBBING #it ended so sad this timeee #but i thought it was really good i dont rly get what people are complaining about #it might help also that i was spoiled for a lot of the stuff people seem most upset abt so i knew it was coming #and also that i watched the full season in one go #idk why they held off the last two episodes #it just let people build their perfect scenarios for the end of the season #which meant they were inevitably disappointed when it didnt live up to that #i think it wouldve been wiser to release it all at once #but anyway YEAH i really liked it and thought it was v good #poor max hope she’s ok #and EL what a wonderful season for el #so juicy and angsty #lumax was so adorable i want them to be happy #also seeing erica be a supportive sister makes me 🥺#i feel bad for eddie but like. obviously not as much as the rest of you do LMAO #i dont need him to come back but i hope they at least find a way to clear his name #man this was just such a good season for both el and max who like. along with will are my fav characters so. loved it #OH AND JOYCE AND HOPPER. Soooo episode 7, Alastor was straight up adorable.

First it was him on Charlies bed acting like a teenage girl listening to his girl friends.

His little sing song voice of "I know something you don't know."

The deal.....Oooh, things got interesting.

Alastor handed over his staff unprompted to Charlie which is part of his essence.

Alastor was just so supportive and encouraging. Giving a thumbs up and such. It was precious!

Cannibal Town. It was a delight to see him in his element. He seem relaxed and genuinely happy. It was charming to see him interact with Rosie. Rosie being the same power level, no deals or contracts between them, and didn't know each other in their before life. She was an equal and it was soooo delightful how Alaster interacts sincerely with someone with no ulterior motives.

I love how Alastor was able to place the name with annoyed disgust when Rosie was referencing Susan, an grouchy old woman they mutually dislike.

Charlie being able to point Susan out after being hackled and then cursing her out later was pretty funny.

Plus this comment of his sexuality. YES. It was made better of Alastor not knowing theses modern terms. I love it.

He just noticeably more happy. He smiles genuinely that reaches his eyes. It just so amazing to watch it. He was relaxed, and leaning on things to rest peacefully. Rosie is his platonic soulmate.
