Những gì xảy ra trong gần 800km vừa qua. Đều chỉ là âm thanh của tiếng động cơ. Tiếng rung của động cơ như cùng nhịp tim với con tim. Tầm nhìn như bị hút ngày vào trước mắt, chợt nhận ra bạn không còn đi trên con đường, bạn ở trong nó, là một phần của nó . Giao thông, cảnh vật, bọn cớm…. lao thẳng thổi bay chúng để bạn vượt qua. Đôi lúc tôi quên đi sự vội vã đó, Đó là lý do tôi yêu những chặng đường dài. Mọi rắc rối của bạn, mọi tiếng ồn, đều biến mất. Không có gì phải để tâm trừ những thứ xảy ra trước mắt bạn.

Có lẽ đó là bài học dành cho tôi ngày hôm nay. Để giữ lại những khoảnh khắc giản dị, coi trọng chúng hơn. Sẽ không còn nhiều điều như thế. Tôi không muốn bạn gặp điều tương tự. Tìm kiếm những thứ khiến bạn hạnh phúc không hề khó khăn. Tôi biết bạn sẽ phải đối mặt với đau khổ, sóng gió, những quyết định khó khăn, nhưng…

Đừng để gánh nặng của nó cuốn trôi những niềm vui trong cuộc đời của bạn. Không vấn đề gì khi bạn tìm kiếm thứ gì đó yêu thương bạn, theo đuổi nó .

Có câu nói: “ thứ không thể giết bạn, nó khiến bạn mạnh mẽ hơn’’.

Tôi không tin vào điều đó. Tôi nghĩ những thứ muốn giết bạn chỉ khiến bạn thêm tức giận hay buồn bã. Sức mạnh đến từ những điều tốt đẹp,… gia đình bạn, bạn bè, hài lòng với sự chăm chỉ. Đó là những thứ sẽ giữ bạn được trọn vẹn.

Something happens at around 800 km an hour headers drown out all sound, engine vibrations travels at a heart's rate, field of vision funnels into the immediate and suddenly you're not on the road, you're in it. A part of it. Traffic, scenery, cops - just cardboard cutouts blowing over as you pass. Sometimes I forget the rush of that. That's why I love these long runs. All your problems, all the noise, gone. Nothing else to worry about except what's right in front of you. Maybe that's the lesson for me today, to hold on to these simple moments. Appreciate them a little more - there's not many of them left. I don't ever want that for you. Finding things that make you happy shouldn't be so hard. I know you'll face pain, suffering, hard choices, but you can't let the weight of it choke the joy out of your life. No matter what, you have to find the things that love you. Run to them.

There's an old saying, “That which doesn't kill you, makes you stronger”

I don't believe that. I think the things that try to kill you make you angry and sad. Strength comes from the good things - your family, your friends, the satisfaction of hard work. Those are the things that'll keep you whole.

Those are the things to hold on to when you're broken.

Jeremy

     The teen years are like a rollercoaster of emotions and tirade of wild, fascinating adventures jammed packed into one life- your life. Some say that sixteen is when the most fun starts because you usually receive your driver’s license along with a car; your first prom; and other extraordinary materials. Well, I received my driver’s license when I was sixteen, however, I did not receive my car until after graduation, and I was eighteen. Yeah, I was a little late to the party, but believe me there was a probable reason, and that reason was- my driving skills were horrid. 

     My mother and father bought me a 2015 Jeep for my graduation. My mother was reluctant in bestowing the car upon me, but my father convinced her otherwise. I’m a big fan of the Disney cartoon, Phineas and Ferb, and one of the characters I found to be cute was Jeremy. So, I decided to name my cute, four-wheeled companion, Jeremy. Jeremy and I traveled everywhere- from the store, to the gym, to the mall, and wherever my mother demanded me to take her. Oh, I forgot to mention that my mother accompanied me on every journey- ha! The three musketeers. 

     One day, I decided to take Jeremy out by myself and go to Dunkin Donuts. “I’ll be back before my mom knows I’m gone”, I thought. As I started the engine and prepared to reverse out of the driveway, I noticed our dumpsters were blocking the path. “Okay, I’ll just maneuver around them”. Now, this may be easy for some, but like I mentioned earlier, my driving skills were horrid, therefore my maneuvering skills were too. Before I knew it, I’m on the other side of our driveway; at the end of our driveway there was a pole- guess what got caught in the pole- oh, yeah, my front bumper was caught on the pole, so I decided to do the “smart thing” and keep reversing out. “This is a strong, sturdy car, what’s the worst that could happen?”. I spoke too soon as I reversed back frivolously and tore off the bumper of my car. All I could think at that moment as I sat in the middle of the road with a “loose lipped” Jeremy was, “Mom is so going to kill me”. In the end, let’s just say I was without a car for two weeks, and had to witness the accusatory glares of a very pissed off mother. Yeah, this is one wild experience I’ll never forget.

When I did a search “if pinnipeds itch” I read this:“Answer 1: Yes, marine mammals such as seals, whales, and dolphins have been known to scratch themselves.
