An aesthetic decision I really like about the Mad Max setting- focusing on Fury Road in particular here- is that the timeline and the setting deliberately defy coherence. Countless elements of our world have carried over- the guns, the vehicles, the musical instruments, the religious concepts, and nominally some of the actual people- but the world is geographically impossible, you don't see much contemporary architecture even in a ruined state, and there's no version of the timeline where this can be the same Max Rockatansky as the original films. But it is. The incongruities are deliberate. The setting is mythic, these are campfire tales told about Max, the King Arthur or the Omnipresent Jack figure of the new age. The world that was is swallowed in myth, the world that exists is borrowing some of the old world toys, and being up-front and bombastic with signifiers of the mythic and abstracted nature of the setting absolves you of the need to make the worldbuilding make sense- or rather, to make it make sense in the way you'd have to take a stab at if you had a year-by-year internal worldbuilding timeline of How Everything Went Down.
Fallout 1 is not exactly like this. It can't be, because you could kill a man with an overhead swing of the setting bible. But it's tapping into a similar impulse. People in the first game are using old world tech, but they don't really live in the old world; they live in settlements using materials scavenged from the old world, or in old world towns that were unimportant enough back then that their current identity totally overwrites whatever came before. They don't live in LA: They live in the Boneyard, which gives you a pretty good idea of how much of what we think of as "LA" would be recognizable as such if we were exploring the space in first-person perspective. When you encounter an area that has a direct, well-documented, and unambiguous connection to the old world, it's a Big Deal, and they're hard places to get to- places that the average person living their life in the wastes would die trying to access. Of particular note in this dynamic is The Brotherhood of Steel- for all their technical understanding of the knowledge they hoard, they've clearly seems to have undergone a few rounds of Canticle-style cultural telephone, mutating from Recognizably The American Military into a knightly order. Fallout 2 does this to a lesser extent- it has more settlements directly named after their pre-war counterparts- but it's also a game about a society that's starting to pull back together and form into something resembling the old world, for better or for worse. And it reproduces the trend of stuff with a direct, legible connection to the old world being inscrutable and dangerous to outsiders- specifically with the reveal that the Enclave consider themselves to be the direct continuation of the pre-war government, that they've just kept electing presidents out on that stupid little oil rig. I haven't really made up my mind on whether the timeframes of the games- 84 years followed by 164 years- actually work for the vibe they're going for, in particular it doesn't work with Arroyo- but on the whole, the vibe coheres.
You get into the 3d games, and it becomes much harder to continue to pull this off. One major tool that Fallouts 1 and 2 used to maintain that sense of abstraction was the overland travel map; you were visiting island of society in a vast sea of Nothing. You had encounter cells that consisted of burnt-out, looted shells of cities, maybe good for a camp site but not as anything else. Another important tool towards this end was the isometric camera angle. In a topdown worldspace you can scrub out a lot of environmental details that would be immediately recognizable to the player as artifacts of our present society if you were exploring the space in 1st person. The examine button can feed you vague, uncertain descriptions that convey enough detail to make the item recognizable while also conveying that there's been a level of information decay. Once you move into a 3d worldspace you lose both of these elements- the worldspace is what it is, I can walk across it in eleven minutes stripping it for loot as I go. I can read every sign on every still-standing building, and I've got eyeballs on every old-world bit-and-bobble with a handy interface description of what I'm looking at. And you hit random encounters in the 3d games at basically the same rate, in real-world time, that you did in the isometrics- but the isometrics could successfully abstract it out to represent that you were hitting something noteworthy every couple of weeks, while in the 3d games it's kinda inescapable that you keep getting jumped every single day walking back and forth up the same stretch of road. Not only is it recognizable, it's cramped.
I think that Fallout 3, to its credit, did a decent job of navigating this and trying to maintain the islands-in-a-sea-of-nothing vibe from the isometrics- most of the settlements are built slapdash in places that were obviously never intended for long-term human habitation (bomb craters, overpasses, suburbs), the landmark-heavy city proper is textually a difficult-to-navigate deathtrap, and the poison-sky green filter, memeworthy as it is, does help shore up the impression that you're inviting death by trying to move through the space. Fallout: New Vegas I think addresses this by going in the total opposite direction; It's set in an area of the country where the infrastructure was abnormally well preserved, and the pre-war culture was revived artificially, and from a thematic standpoint it's really interested in digging into the implications of those two things. The fact that the lonely-empty-decontextualized-void aesthetic isn't long for this world dovetails well with the cowboy themes. They have a fair number of future-imperfect context-collapse gags but they don't overdo it by any stretch of the imagination.
Fallout 4, from many directions, is sort of catching the worst of the heat here. The world is recognizable, aggressively so. In fairly-authentically recreating the suburban sprawl of the Northeast, Bethesda simply surrounded the inhabitants of the commonwealth with too much Boston for a sense of true distance from our world to be possible. Everyone still has the accents. They still know the names of all the old neighborhoods. They're still doing the "Park your car" bit. It's still Boston. And it's a busy Boston, too- you can't throw a rock without hitting a farming settlement that's doing well enough to attract tribute-seeking bandits. It's densely packed with points of interest, and those points of interest are packed to the brim with salvageable materials that, going off of the new crafting system, should be in enormous demand to the people who've been living in this area for 210 years. The game doesn't really advance a satisfying explanation, even an aesthetic explanation like fallout 3's poison sky, for why everything around you hasn't been stripped clean before you even came off the ice, why all these environmental storytelling tableaus are just waiting for you to find. It doesn't spend nearly enough time hammering out what the 200-year chronology of the most-livable area seen in a Fallout game looks like- Why don't you see something comparable to the NCR emerging? Something something CPG massacre (which is mentioned twice in the whole game, AFAICT.) And what's being lost here, right, is the ability to use the sands of time to smooth over rough spots in the worldbuilding, in the chronology. You can't hide behind the idea that the world you're experiencing is mythologized. It's presented as real, and it doesn't make much sense if it's real!
And to top it off- Fallout 4 probably has the highest density of characters who were actually there, by some means or another. The Vault Tec rep, Daisy, The Triggermen, Nick Valentine, Eddie Winter, the vault 118 inhabitants, Arlen Glass, Oswald, Kent Connolly, The whole of Cabot House, Captain Zao, The kid in the goddamn fridge and his goddamn parents, and uh. The big one. You. You, the player. Which is such a goddamn splinter under my skin, from a storytelling perspective. You were present in the before-times- but only nominally, only to the exact degree necessary to establish that that was the case. The ugly shit is alluded to, but not incorporated into the character's day-to-day in a way that's obvious to the player, you're there for like six minutes and it's pretty nifty if you overlook that bit at the end where everyone got nuked. Your ability to talk about the world before is always vague, vacuous, superficial. The dirty laundry you dig up on terminals around Boston never seems to meaningfully impact your character's worldview, their impressions of the then and the now. All of which combine to make this the simultaneously the most specific but also the most frustratingly vague game in the series. At its best, Fallout's love of juxtaposing the then and the now would make it a great setting for the Rip Van Winkle routine. But it requires a strong, strong understanding of what the world was like before and after, a willingness to use the protagonist to constantly grind the jagged edges of those things against each other, a protagonist with a better-defined outlook than Bethesda's open-ended-past approach allowed for- and it has to be in service of a greater point. And for Fallout 4 to do anything with any of that, the game would have to be about something instead of being something for you to do. Maddening. Maddening.

Ley Lines Map for All the Gansey-core Girlies
Tumblr media
Have you ever wished there was an interactive map that not only graphs the ley lines described in TRC, but also has layers full of possible spiritual points, arranged in loose categories and sloppily curated by sheer force of mental illness?? Okay baby here you go:
FAQ under the cut 😘
Was this necessary?
Genuinely it was not. My investigations uncovered that Maggie Stiefvater does not really care about geography, nor does she remain consistent about the ley lines, so I can't even really say that it's book-accurate.
Example 1 - There are multiple understandings of ley lines. Some are circles, patterns, connect the dots, etc. but TRC goes with the definition of "perfectly straight" lines "that crisscross the globe" (The Raven Boys Chapter 2, Chapter 15). One of the big three lines connects Boston to St. Louis (The Raven Boys Chapter 22). And the main line also passes through Boston (see example #2)! But half of all the Pynch drama in Call Down the Hawk specifically blames Boston/Harvard for not being on the ley line. Hello?? It's on TWO of them!
Example 2 - Maggie makes it clear that the connection between D.C. and New York, which also connects to the UK and Pilot Mountain, is the main line that Glendower's squad traveled on (The Raven Boys Chapter 7, Chapter 22). The weird part is how after defining this line, all of Adam's ley line adventures place it directly along the Shenandoah National Park/Blue Ridge Mountains (Blue Lily, Lily Blue Chapter 2 + many other quotes I don't feel like looking up). There's no way to connect the DC-Pilot Mt line to Shenandoah, but I can totally see how Maggie Stiefvater would think it connects when looking at a flat map.
So yeah. It doesn't really matter, but thanks to my research we can CONFIRM that it doesn't really matter. You're welcome.
So why did you make this?
For fun...it wasn't exactly worth it. But by sharing it with y'all, hopefully no one else will make the same mistake.
What about line #3?
The third line never has specific connection points in the books so I basically made it up :) but I narrowed it down to 2 candidates, with my chosen line based on Ronan's mention of the "Pando thing" in Greywaren's epilogue.
How did you decide on/find points?
Honestly it was a lot of vibes. You can read in the description of the map how I started from certain resources, like all the stuff in the books, and other people's Google maps. My big discovery was realizing that UNESCO World Heritage Sites covered a lot of territory between history and nature, but before that I was literally googling things like "strange places Kentucky" and pouring through articles. If a place seemed weird and magical, I added it.
Yes this took forever. Easily 3x as long as the 300 Fox Way floorplan, if not longer.
Is this map complete?
I had other ideas for things I should add to it but I got tired, so nah.
You've put down everything from urban legends to alien sightings, but why don't I see many hauntings on the map?
Blatant author bias; I firmly don't believe in famously haunted houses! The vast majority of "haunted" places operate as tourist attractions, so if I took them at their word I'd have to also log Disney World for being the most magical place on earth, wouldn't I? Also Re: I got tired.
Can I copy this map / add to it / use it for reference?
Please please please please
I found a typo
I bet you did! I'm not even proof reading this post bestie.

Hey I just wanted to say thank you so much for your support of the Jewish community, it really means a lot to us (any time, but especially now).
I noticed that you said you're an Indigenous Australian, and I was wondering if there's any ways we can help support you and your community? (Indigenous Australians in general, or your specific nation) I'm not Australian, but I know y'all have definitely suffered discrimination and worse at the hands of the government and society (and still are).
I honestly wasn't expecting thanks. It seemed like the bare minimum, it should be the bare minimum. The fact that it isn't & is rare enough that you felt the need to thank me is more an indictment on the failures of most people in my opinion. I admit, it does feel nice to be thanked though.
If I had donated to multiple Israeli charities I would feel worthy of praise. But the only one I have donated to is Ogen's "Swords of Iron Emergency Economic Relief Fund". I donated about $100USD (they didn't give the option to donate in AUD).
If you still want to help my people than I would suggest donating to the Aboriginal Legal Service (for Aboriginal people needing legal support in NSW & ACT), North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency, abbreviated as NAAJA (same as the Legal Service but for NT), ALSWA (literally just the Aboriginal Legal Service of Western Australia), The Fred Hollows Foundation (it's owned by white people, but it does good work, & without it the blindness rate for us would be double what it is), or one of the many Aboriginal Medical Services. Each community has their own AMS with their own names (the AMS abbreviation comes from the very first such organisation, AMS Redfern, which is the one you will most likely find if you do a Google search, it serves the Aboriginal community in Sydney, which isn't where I'm from), with widely varying level of effectiveness depending on management. The one servicing people in my area is one of the less effective ones, though most of us rely on it for lack of alternatives.
Once again, most of us can't afford either legal representation or visits to the GP, so donating to an AMS or an aboriginal legal service will help most of the us. I actually have some money, so I don't use the local AMS, instead going to see a GP who mostly services the LGBTQ community.
Calling out antisemites when they are being antisemitic is just the right thing to do. From a moral perspective, letting people victim-blame Israel for the war Hamas started is wrong. Letting people peddle falsehoods & antisemitic libel without calling it out was the same as condoning it. I saw people celebrate the October 7th pogrom outside the Sydney Opera House, long before the Israelis were able to launch counter-attacks on Gaza. I saw people on this site act like Hamas were angels when those murderers bragged & posted the footage of their atrocities for the world to see. I couldn't stay silent as these terrorists were praised after murdering people, raping people, kidnapping people. I couldn't stay silent when people denied these crimes happened despite the overwhelming evidence, despite Hamas not only admitting to it, but proclaiming their desire to do it again & again until there were no more Jews to attack. To stay silent was at best condoning those who would deny what happened.
That alone was enough for me to pick a side, but that's just emotions. If emotions hadn't moved me, my logical side would have still intervened to back Israel & condemn antisemitism.
Defending Israel's right to exist is just basic logical consistency. Even without the moral component of the fact that Hamas committed atrocities on October 7th & are proud of it, I have other principles. Admittingly, some of these started pretty self-serving but applying these principles consistently rather than only when it benefits me leads to altruism, so here we are.
I was going to write the list of principles, but it's a very long list, so that's a separate document. In the meanwhile, I'll summarise two of the parts of the principles list affecting my POV here (though not the only parts, they're the easiest parts to point out).
In essence, I consider the Jewish people to have a better claim to being the native people of Israel/West Bank than the Palestinian Arabs do. I know that some Palestinian Arabs have Jewish ancestry, but I consider indigeneity to be as much about culture as blood, so if they fully adopted the invader's culture & identify as Arabs, they voided any claims to indigeneity they once had as far as I'm concerned. Yeah the first 9 points in the principles list were about native sovereignty. I still think a two-state solution is the best chance for a long-term peace, but that's pragmatism over the fact that the Arabs are there now & aren't going to leave, not an endorsement of their claims to indigeneity.
In addition, I'm a transwoman, not straight (bisexual, not sure where on Kinsey scale) & an atheist. Hamas would kill me if I was somewhere they could reach me for being myself regardless of anything else I did or didn't do. It's just logical to back the side that won't kill me for being a queer non-believer & which actually gives us rights. Actually LGBT rights also made up several more points in the principle lists.
Basically I was locked in to supporting Israel on basic morality & on ideological consistency. I don't see the point in thanking me, but it does feels nice that you did thank me so I guess thanks in return.

I apologize if this is not something I should ask you but do you have any advice for new users? I still don’t quite know how to work this site.
oh goodness. no need to apologise, of course, but I doubt I can give any meaningful advice here - especially given that I've never really been a user of any other social media site and so most things about tumblr seem very obvious to me, like asking a native speaker of a language for tips to learn it - but I've seen plenty of useful posts going around, many of which can be found under the new users tag.
still, some things that I haven't seen mentioned all that much that might be useful for following and/or interacting with a blog like mine:
while there are some blogs (especially sideblogs) with very specific and consistent content, most users will have things that are Their Thing... and then a lot of other stuff thrown in there as well. using me as an example: I have my sideblogs which function as sort of e-shrines, devotional spaces, and these will have very specific and uniform sort of content pertaining to their very theme. now, my main blog - so the one you've sent this ask to - is mostly Slavic Paganism and Folklore related, but of course, as you can see, there's just... everything else I like here as well. it often will lie somewhere close to that Slavic and Folk domain but sometimes will go in such different or opposite directions that it might be surprising for someone used to really uniform spaces.
many blogs will have specific personal tags which are used as labels to categorise posts on the blog, be able to get back to them, signal a very specific sort of content, or allow followers to blacklist it. for example, I have the tag #żmija gada which is a tag I use for my personal posts where I talk about things. I have tags like #folklore which allow me to have some order to my blog but will also show up for users searching tumblr for that content in general, and then I also have tags like, for example, #bad luck confessions, which is a tag related to a very specific ask thread I have with people interacting with my blog and that makes very little sense outside of my blog.
even if you follow someone and like 99% of their content, don't be afraid to blacklist the 1% you don't like. sometimes this balance will even shift in the other direction and that's also alright: I follow users I really like but block like 80% of their content because I don't care for it. blacklisting/blocking tags is encouraged and not seen as a bad thing at all.
building a dashboard you will enjoy - observing or interacting with - will take time. while you can, of course, follow 100 recommended Big Blogs or Specific Content Blogs right away, chances are that you will experience much more enjoyment once you organically start finding new blogs you might like. if you like the content of a given blog, don't be afraid to check the blogs that person reblogs from or the blogs they interact with - and follow those, or look through them to find other blogs. community building works a bit different on tumblr and it takes time to learn it organically. there is no rush, don't worry.
don't be afraid to unfollow if you realise you don't like the content. it's okay, and it's much better than seeing something that bothers you all the time - or, gods forbid, messaging the user to ask them to change what they post.
if you want to ask someone something, sending an ask is much better than a submission (if they have them open) - submissions have to be posted instead of answered and it's a whole mess. also, not everyone will want to interact through DMs - sometimes they're really broken, and are, after all, direct messages, and not everyone wants to just start talking to strangers as if they're friends already.
honestly, take it easy. it's just a silly website, you can't commit some sort of grave social blunder that will haunt you forever - just take your time, find content you like, and have some patience with how the technical part of the experience works.

Kind of random, but I keep seeing this weird phenomenon in posts and wanted to get opinions on it from your followers: as far as I see, a lot of people on this site seem weirdly more inclined to emphasize the whiteness of women they talk about in their posts, *more so than when talking about men*. And it even happens in posts where race does not seem immediately relevant.
A lot of the time it seems to me to be the result of the "all men are trash" and "white women specifically are awful" viewpoints intersecting, but it can't always be that. Like, I've just seen a post of some1 defending men, and talking about what toxic masculinity actually is (that masculinity itself is not toxic, just some expressions of it basically), and they went the whole post talking about men in general, no mention of race. And then some1 asked if it means there's toxic femininity, and op replied that yes, and then gave examples, but the very first example they gave was "Like when white women fake cry to win arguments, or to appear to be the victim" (and mby white women are more prone to this, who am I to say, I'm not from USA anyway, but is this *really* a white-woman-only issue? no woc ever fake-cries to weaponize their femininity against some1 less feminine?).
Maybe I'm just reading too much into it, but it just feels so odd.
--
Welllll...
On the one hand, yes, tumblr is wildly misogynist and loves to try to get away with it by tacking 'white' on. This same bad behavior does occasionally hit men in general and queer people overall frequently. There's also plenty of "But I'm a smol bean and couldn't be an aggressor!" shit slung around by all sorts of genders and ethnicities here, which is somewhat similar to 'white women's tears' but not quite the same.
On the other hand, the particular phenomenon the term is supposed to be talking about actually is a white thing.
You have to look at how gender and race interact. In a racist, stereotyped US (and often broader Western) sense, the ideal woman is by definition white. She's the most feminine, delicate fragile flower in need of protection and undeserved asspats. A woman of color is inherently less in this racist view. She's less feminine by definition no matter how pretty she is or how many fluffy dresses she wears or how quietly she speaks, so her tears are weakness, not a demonstration of her femininity. (Or if she's Asian, maybe she's very feminine, but in the wrong way. Yay, racism.)
It's not that no WOC is ever a manipulative douchebag. It's just that society is a lot less likely to believe her pretense of fragility or to prize it or to come to her aid. Weaponizing this particular thing won't work.
Or at least it won't work as well and as consistently, and that's the point of the term: broad patterns of societal racism, particularly in the context of WOC going "Dude, your feminist organization / movement / day of action / whatever is actually pretty racist" and then the white organizers putting on a performance of injured innocence to rival miette.

Honestly, looking over staff's response to the situation, I would say the clarifications are overall good/better. Especially in regards to scarring, like, yeah, I get not wanting to have stuff implying child abuse when that's already against TOS.
Though I have to ask, wouldn't the "no fetish wear" thing also apply to adult dragons? Like, as far as I'm aware you can't have an adult dragon in a BDSM harness or thigh-high stockings either. But even then, saying "fetish clothing" is just really vague when you consider that things like suits and masks (both apparel items in-game) are very much fetishes for some people. Maybe it's just for anything that is without a doubt 99% associated with kink, like harnesses? I'unno. It seems a little redundant when sexual/suggestive content is already heavily restricted on FR by virtue of it being a kid-friendly site. I don't wanna lean too heavy into the "but what about [other apparel item]" argument either because their content rules are restrictive as-is. It's one of those things where I get why the ruling exists (FR just isn't the place for explicit/graphic content; it is a 13+ site), but the wording of "fetish clothing" is still really vague. Though I can respect that they outlined what specific clothing they would deem to be toeing the line otherwise.
Like, it's not about "protecting the fictional dragon children". It's about monitoring the content accessible by the real kids playing the site. You can't sexualize the adult dragons (see: Baldwin GILF fiasco), so why would the hatchlings be literally any different? I do feel like there should be more of a "case by case" basis to these things, though. Baby in full lingerie? Nuh-uh. That wouldn't even be allowed on an adult dragon. Baby in an Alice in Wonderland-styled outfit? Should be fine. It would depend on how it's framed-- though simultaneously this would just add even more subjective bias to skincent rules as opposed to blanket consistency, which people were mad about before. There's just no way to do it that would make everyone happy methinks.

Is there any sort of list of peacock colors/patterns?
The short answer is....... sort of.
The longer answer is no, there's nowhere that I know of that lists all colors and patterns and combinations. In the USA, the United Peafowl Association lists their "approved" varieties, but the UPA is just some breeders that got together and decided they're a club. A lot of breeders don't even know they exist. They only list American morphs, and they're missing ones people have, and they don't really have more info on them than just their names. There's also the peafowldatabase.com, which is a site collecting submissions of peafowl images in order to help people ID morphs, but it relies on people submitting images and being correct in IDing the morph... And there are a lot of morphs that look very similar.
Part of the issue of coherency is that some morphs are continent-specific and can't be imported or exported, and some haven't been tested as breeding true, or cross tested against similar morphs. The peafowl genome hasn't been mapped, even though they're working on it, so we don't know for sure about any of the morphs. We're working by what they do when bred, and similar genetics that we do know.
We've also run aground of things like European Violet and American Purple. They don't look the same, but when bred together they act like they're the same. They're probably alleles but they could both just be purple with different epigenetic tags. We don't know. We can't know. There's also things like Fawn in Australia.... It looks like cameo, but it's got health issues. We can't test it against cameo because Australia won't allow import of cameo and the breeders with Fawn either can't (because regulations) or won't (because health issues) export Fawn. Is it the same? It's it new? We thought Oaten was a new morph but it wasn't. We don't know. We can't. We've also run aground of things like Indigo/Hazel. They are both (genetically, as far as we know and can tell) a purple-bronze morph displayed together in the phenotype. But they look very different. If you breed indigo to indigo, you get both indigo and Hazel. If you breed hazel to hazel, you still get both. No one knows why. We can't seem to select it out, and no one knows why. Then there's white eye. It never had a consistent phenotype. Sometimes it displays as white eye markings on the train. Sometimes it turns a pied bird silver. We don't know why. People argue about what makes a bird silver pied rather than pied white eye. There's also lost morphs, like Australian Steel. It appeared, briefly, and we have photos of it, but now no one has it... Probably. Because last I heard, it had mutated again in the USA; but since we have no Australian version to compare to, and even if it still existed we couldn't import/export, we can't say for sure it's the same. There's also questionably existing morphs, like Elfenbien, which was supposedly a sex-linked version of BS that appeared in an opal population; but no one except the breeder who claims to have produced it had any, and they didn't prove it out. I have no idea if it's still around and is real, or if it ended up being a hoax.
Anyway. It's complicated. There's no complete list anywhere that I know of.

FusionFall Headcanons: Post-battle Clean-up and Restoration
An important role of the Fusion Fighters that can often go overlooked is the clean-up efforts conducted after each battle. Even if tasks such as rebuilding a lot of infrastructure sometimes have to wait since it will most likely end up ruined again during the next monster wave, paths need to be cleared and fusion matter can't be allowed to build up. It's definitely a dirty, deadly job, but someone has to do it!
Even if the area is cleared of fusion monsters, leaving any large build-ups of fusion matter sitting around can put an area at-risk. Not only is it still a poisonous substance to most all life on Earth, large amounts left unattended will increase the likelihood of stronger monsters respawning. There's also the possibility of Gooby Traps left scattered around, which will absolutely cause fusion matter to spread in-mass. Worst-case-scenario, it may even create a new infection zone. As such, whether you are on a bomb squad or are acting as a standard service troop, you have to be thorough. Teams with these jobs will often include antidote nanos and even imaginary friends. To add to their numbers, some of these antidote nanos may include those from separate teams--giving them both an active role and chance to practice their abilities while their IE Donors are elsewhere.
Urban areas tend to receive more care than rural areas do, which is why--with the exception of smaller sites within them like infection zones--they can seem pretty clean overall to us despite the constant fighting taking place there. Even if Fuse targets them heavily, they have more resources to handle repairs and, as mentioned before, are already very much prepared to deal with them due to enduring countless monster attacks on a regular basis prior to the war. People may have to shift around some of those resources, like focusing on the main slider rather than consistently keeping up with the whole network within the City, due to matters such as time constraints; however, there just aren't as many destroyed or morphed landscapes as you see out in the wilderness.
There are a couple of reasons why rural areas/the wilderness don't receive the same attention. They simply don't have the same number of eyes to report where the damaged/infected sites are and there aren't enough resources to handle them to the same degree. Fuse doesn't use this to his advantage often only because he'd rather focus on taking out populated areas first and knows how his enemies would catch on if he did. Instead, he typically allows for fusion matter to make a much slower advance throughout the wilderness, allowing for it to go mostly unnoticed until it's too late. We see the end result of this through things like the infected trees in the Really Twisted Forest or how much worse the infection zones often are in the wilds. The Fusion Fighters in these locations combat this by having more scouts in a separate, more specific role focusing on clean-up, or by working with groups such as the KND SKWID squad, whose purpose in the war is largely to defend Earth's oceans and its wildlife.
Furthermore, while people can repair strips of road and damaged buildings, restoring wildlife in what are still toxic landscapes is much more difficult to manage. Trees are likely to either quickly die or end up infected, so no one really bothers with replanting them just yet. As for animals... Well, it's not like the Fusion Fighters could keep them all contained in safer environments even if they tried. If anything, they'd risk bottling Earth's species in singular, major targets, like what happened at Galaxy Gardens. There's also risks to the environments themselves if the animals are relocated. As such, people will make an effort to care for them too, but they allow the animals to mostly run free; typically catching and releasing them back where they found them after an area is deemed clear.
Before people or animals can return to areas where heavy battles took place, decontaminations are a must. This is a matter of personal safety to those individuals and inhibits fusions from blending in with a crowd to do even more damage. Even if an area were completely clear of fusion matter, if a person is already infected, it can eventually be fatal. Even if they don't have enough fusion matter on/in their bodies to do much harm beyond that, the same can't be said for fusions and it's impossible for them to slip through decontamination. Even if they somehow could hind the fact that their bodies are pretty much 100% fusion matter, the imaginary energy (IE) used during decontamination is deadly to them.
Speaking of IE, let's get back to antidote nanos. The antidote ability is more often used as a preventative measure for fusion fighters when in areas with high concentrations of fusion matter. The same applies for clean-up teams as well, but the Nano Project continuously works to see how far this ability can go--as a means of purifying landscapes or healing like I'd mentioned in my Future headcanons. They can purge fusion matter from the body, hence the 'antidote' name. This does nothing for the physical damage already taken from a fusion matter infection. Still, it can easily prevent a worst-case-scenario. As an extension of that, they'll also remove fusion matter from sources of food/water or soil, but often only in very small amounts: A water bottle or potted plant might not be too much trouble, but a pond or an entire field can be nearly impossible. Over the course of the war, as more research is conducted, there definitely are improvements; however, the ability is never capable of curing areas on a mass-scale. To help compensate, whenever they are tasked on clean-up, antidote nanos may do so in large groups with each other.
IE itself can be used to disintegrate fusion matter in small amounts once larger bodies of it are broken up. This is done through a similar method to creating purified fusion matter for nanos. However, this is even harder to utilize on a large-scale than the antidote ability.
There's not really much to say about the repair process itself, aside that it is largely done with manpower. This wasn't the case prior to the war, but thanks to so many construction robots like the Tech or Air Drones being turned into fusion monsters, people can't use them as they want to avoid potentially adding to Fuse's army as much as possible. Some droids are still around to help, but Earth is a lot more limited in this way. It can also make the work much slower. Moreover, since another battle is likely to occur, you'll find corners cut and more temporary repairs conducted. Both Dexlabs and Mandark Industries have improved handheld tools to try and speed up the manual labor.
An added concern is that new fusion monsters will spawn from the rubble. They're an immediate threat to the teams working on the restoration efforts, yes, but also make whatever previous victory was won in-vain. Since fusion monsters can be made-up of pretty much anything as it is, trying to stop new ones from appearing entirely is a fruitless goal. However, that doesn't mean the Fusion Fighters are going to let them return quickly or in as good of a condition as they were in before. For example, whatever is left of a Tech Drone is going to be dismantled when possible.

New Achievement!
What do two siblings, who only see each other once a year and when they do they do the scariest things they'll do all year, listen to while driving? If you guessed RPG/Lit you'd be correct! Specifically 'Dungeon Crawler Carl', books 1 & 2 during this trip.
I just got back from our yearly sibling hiking trip, this year to the Sawtooth Mountain Range of Idaho. As a person who has lived their whole life in Florida, where our landfills get names like 'Mt Trashmore' to denote their elevation, I am consistently stunned by mountains. I just can't even believe people carry on with their daily life and can just glance down the street and there is a mountain. I mean, get real.
We flew in to Boise, grabbed a car and headed east to Twin Falls. Quick stops to see Evel's Snake river jump site and to have dinner then over to Balanced Rock. The hope was to take astrophotography including the Rock but it was determined to be too dangerous to be able to scramble back down with our gear in the dark. We got a few sunset shots then came back down (we each did fall on the route back) and then drove around looking for other compositions. Nothing really stuck out but the light in the canyon was beautiful.
Tumblr media
Next day we checked in with Shoshone Falls, then Perrine Coulee falls, then took a boat up to Pillar Falls. While on the boat we passed under Perrine Coulee bridge and got a good look at multiple base jumpers. Turns out, you don't even need a permit to hop off that thing. There is a small grass landing strip beside the river, and then you have to scramble up the side of the gorge to get back out.
Afterwards we hopped back in the car and took off for Ketchum. On the way we passed a wildfire that was licking at the asphalt wanting to cross the road. Luckily their were firefolks out wrangling the fire back.
Next up for Craters of the Moon, which I thought would be interesting to see but nothing too spectacular. Well, I was wrong. Surprise. The landscape was so interesting, the patterns and textures were amazing. We climbed through a few caves, met an extremely friendly cave pigeon, saw sunset then hunkered down while a storm passed. We waited about 3.5 hours, hoping the sky would clear enough for some astrophotography. It never really cleared up the way I wanted but it's still one of the highlights from the trip.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Over the next few days we hiked a bunch, including to a few alpine lakes. Most notable was the day hike up to Sawtooth Lake, passing Alpine Lake. Once we made it to Sawtooth lake a storm moved in and it got nasty quick. We hid under a stand of trees for it to pass, and when it let up was went to grab a few photos before heading back down. While grabbing the photos another hiker showed up with their dog Bea, who graciously posed for a quick photo before heading off again.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We followed this up with a day of riding OHVs on routes that seemed far too advanced for me. It was 8 hours of white knuckling the wheel and trying to keep at least 2 tires touching the ground at all times.
Our nights were full of the most stupendous astrophotography conditions. The Dark sky preserve was one of the main reasons we went to Idaho this year, and it was truly stunning. Anytime you can see the milky way with your eyes it an incredible experience. I've got some image stacking to do to hopefully bring down some of the noise in the astro shots but, I still love them all so much.

HELLO YOUR MEASUREMENT BLINDNESS POST CROSSED MY DASH AND I HAVE NEVER SEEN SOMEONE ARTICULATE MY EXACT EXPERIENCES SO FUCKING WELL
i have time blindness (it came free with my adhd) and blindness of EVERY OTHER MEASUREMENT TOO!! I can't judge distance to save my fucking life which is a REAL PROBLEM when trying to estimate if furniture on the ikea website (or any site tbh) will fit in the one specific nook in my room, and also when parking my car! it's gotten better with parking over time cos I've had 5 years practice now but still i cannot estimate how soon i need to turn into a parking space because i don't know how long the nose of my car is and how much space it requires cos i can't judge distance like that! and if i drive a car that isn't mine then i go right back to it cos i don't know this car's dimensions AT ALL
similarly, i work in a deli and part of that is taking measurements of product and weighing them to get the price. the scales do the price calculation for us, that's fine, but its the getting the right measurement that's hard - i have no idea whats 100 grams vs 500 grams and i often take a handful and have to take some out or add some into what i grabbed for the measurement to be Accurate and even then I'm still usually 10-40 grams off the mark and its only cos most customers don't mind paying for a little extra ham or bacon that its not a big problem, but I'm DEFINITELY the only person in the deli who has this problem CONSISTENTLY. its not annoying and no one seems to mind, least of all my managers, but like everyone notices, including me!!
and i do have dyscalculia but the measurement blindness is something different!! i can't accurately judge how much my cats weigh by holding them, i can't guess who much is 200 grams of shaved ham by looking at it, i can't guess how far away 300 metres is when the GPS tells me, these are just things i have no concept of!
but im good at spacial awareness and knowing where i am in relation to something, and how much a space is filled by something's presence, so its not spacial blindness, it's something else!!!
the only thing that seems to counter these is consistent exposure to The Thing and even then its still way off and not doing it for an extended period of time (like one week) takes me right back to the beginning! it's weird! i can't learn this no matter what i do!!
this doesn't have much of a point other than THANK YOU FOR ARTICULATING MY EXPERIENCE IM SO GLAD YOU GET IT and also perchance wondering if you have issues with face blindness and direction blindness cos i have those too and I'm wondering if they're linked possibly
I'm glad you found comfort in the post!
As for your questions, no I'm not face blind, pretty much the opposite actually (though I don't learn names as easily as when I was a kid) and I'm pretty good with directions (and shapes/3d-imaging etc) so while those might be like,, in the same category of Brain Shit, they seem to be distinct enough to not be directly connected to measurement/unit blindness.

right, so i guess this is probably the appropriate time for me to dip my toe into bi lesbian discourse, happy pride month
some people get really mad about the term and as a result i've been really reluctant to use it (hence the "sapphic" in my bio) but idk what the vibes are like on tumblr so i might as well talk about it here
i genuinely cannot find another satisfactory label for my sexuality. i think i could describe its exact workings to two different people, and one of them might call me a lesbian affected by comphet, and the other might call me a bi woman affected by trauma relating to men, and you know what? i think both of them would be equally correct. to my knowledge there is currently no word in the english lexicon for that area of overlap and ambiguity, so i have to make do by smashing two existing terms together
the mechanics in question, by the way, are that i'm consistently attracted to women and rarely (and unreliably) attracted to men. i can't make universal statements about my attraction or unattraction to nonbinary people since there are so many ways to be nonbinary. but at any rate, whatever attraction i do feel for men flickers on and off, like a bad radio signal or faulty electrical current. when i think it's there, it vanishes; when i think it's gone, it sideswipes me out of nowhere
i know i'm attracted to women. but whenever i try to make definitive statements about whether or not i'm attracted to men, sooner or later experience comes along and smacks me upside the head one way or another, taunting me for my arrogance in thinking i had a handle on my own orientation. framing it as some kind of superposition helps to deal with this ambiguity, even if it means using two terms at once that seem mutually exclusive
i know that not everyone who uses the label uses it the way that i do, and i understand that some sapphics have specific criticisms of the term. i've seen lesbians say nonspecifically that it is harmful to them (i don't know how to engage with this statement when the nature of the harm isn't clarified), i've seen the claim made that use of the term will make men think it's ok to hit on lesbians (i think the men who would do that would do it regardless and that men who disregard lesbians' boundaries should be held accountable for their actions, not sapphics), i've seen it stated that bi lesbians simply don't understand that they can be bi with a preference (i do, and i still don't think that's an accurate descriptor in my case), and i've seen the accusation that the term constitutes bi erasure (how exactly isn't clear, given that you literally cannot use the term without acknowledging the existence of bisexuality)
i've seen such incredible rage over this term on other sites and never, once, have i seen that rage produce an argument against it that i found compelling, or indeed even attempt to examine the phenomenon bi lesbians are trying to describe rather than imagining what it "must" be and dismissing it out of hand. i know this isn't the most pressing matter affecting the queer community, or even the sapphic community specifically, but i am so, so exhausted and i get unreasonably fearful when it comes to disclosing the details of my orientation and that sucks! i don't get this kind of shit in queer spaces for being a nonbinary trans woman!

The reason I want to start posting stuff in this blog specifically about what's happening in the Philippines in terms of politics and human rights issues is because sometime this year, I saw some disinformation tactics regarding politics in the Philippines that have reached this website. It still seems like it's in its infancy, and I don't know if it's a genuine fanatic or one of those paid disinfo farms. I don't want to risk it growing unopposed. I don't even know if the blog is still around bc I can't find it.
I know some of you use this site to get away from the disinformation craziness that is rampant in sites like Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok. And I am aware of the mental drain that it can do to you. So feel free to block me (I mean that genuinely) or blacklist the tags I use for those posts if you don't wanna see that, and I will understand. But to those who don't wanna, it would be great if you just stay vigilant if you're scrolling down this site.
That being said, I am busy as FUCK. I am juggling being a full time worker while studying postgrad full time, and I am drowning lmao. So if you're interested in these posts in the future, give me a few months lol. Hopefully by the end of November or start of December, I will start making better and probably educational posts in a more consistent manner. Mind you, I am also still learning but I think this is a cool way of doing that.
But for now, enjoy the popular news that I share here regarding these topics (or maybe be angry about it, depends lol).

hello, out there ~
pls excuse my lack of pfp, header or anything of the like, i promise this is a blog by a human and not a bot account.
i don't remember when i made this blog, but i had originally created it with the intentions of not only trying to help other artists slow down and appreciate all the hard work they put into their creations since the surge of 'hustle culture' is forever prominent on social media platforms these days in order to have any hope of presence and consequently, i feel causing artists to feel less value in the work they accomplish, sadly, but to also help myself be more aware of and actually celebrate the advancement of my own skill and hard work that i put towards my art and hobbies.
unfortunately, as is quite apparent by this empty blog that's been floating around in my list of blogs for some time now, i think i've hit more of a wall in my creativity than was previously known.
i've always struggled a lot over the many years (probably close to around 15 now) that i actually have tried to actively improve my art skills to work towards specific goals in that i struggle in knowing exactly HOW to practice art, as far as good fundamental/foundational knowledge is concerned, but i also... pretty much only have WIPs and next to no finished pieces of art (and this is also true for many other hobbies i do; hardly anything ever gets finished).
it's incredibly demotivating and disheartening, especially with the new modern day expectation of artists (or creators of any kind, really) to churn out art as if they were machines and seeing people's quick improvements and new discoveries of skills. i constantly feel behind in the art world. and yes, i'm aware that it's not a requirement to put out art in this manner for hobbyist artists; slow artists are valid and can be very successful and fulfilled, too. but i think we've all felt the pressure to create more and more, faster and faster than before even if it's just for validation purposes.
and it's almost become a requirement if you wish to have any hope of obtaining any monetary compensation for your work (which, i have hoped to obtain even small scale as extra funds for years when i was abled enough to work, but even more so now that i find myself at a higher needs disabled status and unable to work + mostly home-bound and would like to sell my art skills for even a little bit of financial independence after being forced to move back in with my parents for unforeseen personal reasons). i think this is why i tend to find myself crawling back to sites where things WERE slower years ago when i first started to get into the art world.
as is also the motivation for wanting to create this blog. to encourage us all to remember, it's okay to take our time and experiment and learn at a pace that's enjoyable again and just share our achievements in pure enjoyment for creation and less for the sake of getting stuff out there as quick as possible or the first to jump on new trends/popular content for the numbers.
Tumblr media
so i guess we start here. in a position of where i find myself unable to create despite.. wanting to on an almost daily basis.
im often wondering how so many people ARE able to create daily, how do they stay motivated and focused? what keeps them inspired to always have ideas to put down on canvas?
this is especially the case for anyone who is of any neurodivergencies that affect energy, focus and motivation and are able to create consistently because this is seeming to be a very significant struggle with myself (i'm assuming has always been but have only more recently discovered that i'm VERY much ND) as of late.
i'm certain i'm not the only person out there feeling this exact same way or very similarly. so, please, i invite anyone interested in taking a breather away from social platform expectations and growing more peacefully in skill to join me in trying to discover how to achieve this.. together.
i can't say for sure what exactly i have planned for this blog and how we can all come together to bring more genuine joy back to creating, as i often have many ideas, but i tend to be quite lost as to how to follow through with them. maybe we'll figure it out along the way.
anyone of any skill level and any medium of art is welcome to join. (i will say up front, i do not consider any ai made anything to be a self-made art-form as it is imitating works of real human artists, so that is not an acceptable 'medium' here. you're welcome to pick up a pencil, stylus, brush, sculpting material, whatever if you'd like to actually participate and learn a skill from this space)
Tumblr media
i suppose what i'm asking of this first post is.. how is it that YOU create? how or what do you do for practicing or warm-ups? what do you do on days where there's less focus or motivation for drawing or creating? what inspires your work?
very interested in others' creative process, and please those who deal with road blocks from neurodivergent disorders, lemme know how you work around them in order to do what you do ~
feel free to reblog this with commentary or tags explaining, drop a comment on this post or i'll even open the ask box if preferred to respond that way (no anons for now; i've not had great experiences with anon asks in the past)
please remember to always be kind, to others and to yourself. wishing you happy creating ~

Working with Jeff and Mutt could really be challenging at times, especially when they couldn't be bothered to use your help. You hadn't really done much other than help them get their prints down for their robots, then you were demoted to coffee monkey for a few days at a time until one of the men would ask you to interact with one of their robots or help with small useless tasks. Mostly your job consisted of the marketing of their products and the output and delivery of robots they sold.
After Mutt threw a tantrum at you about his coffee order not being right, you finally gave up and walked to your desk that sat in the small room between the lab and Ms. Venable's desk. Pretty much anyone who walked into the lab had to go through your office. Yes it was pretty annoying at times but it was nice sometimes too because that means Jeff had to walk through your office whenever he wanted to go out for any reason. One day particular Ms. Venable let this man into the lab, walking through your office and giving you a kind smile as he walked into the lab.
As he walked past you could feel chills go up your spine and he closed the glass door separating your office and the lab. You stared at him for a moment as he walked up and the men greeted him. You looked at Venable and stood from your desk, walking over to her desk. "Who is that?" You asked and gestured to the glass doors as you sat on the side of her desk. She glared at where you sat but said nothing. "His name is Michael. He's a very powerful man." She said and waved the back of her hand at you. "Now if you'll excuse me I actually have work to get done." She excused you off her desk and you huffed, walking back to your office and clicking around on the website.
You tried to keep your eyes to yourself but you couldn't help but look over at the coconut heads as they talked to this mystery man. More specifically you looked at Jeff. You couldn't tell what it was about him but he seemed so cute and fuckable. You knew you had barely any chance because he could literally make a robot of his ideal woman and have her do whatever he'd like, why would he choose to sleep with someone like you when he could build the perfect woman for himself.
After a few minutes, you were fucking around on your phone before the shades to the lab dropped quickly and then only about a minute later the door to your office opened and Michael walked out with a smile on his face. He looked at you for a moment, stopping in the doorway. You had Jeff's Instagram pulled up on your phone, shamelessly looking at a picture the two of you had taken at some big event for a news website. Michael closed the lab door behind him and looked at your phone where it sat on your desk.
"Do you like him?" He asked and looked down his nose at the phone. You felt the chills run down your spine again. "Yeah... and I just want him to like me back- even better I wish I had the courage to make him like me back." You suddenly found yourself kinda spilling everything to this man without considering it beforehand. "I can help you with that... My father is in a pretty powerful position. We could make a deal and I can get you what you want." He said and walked to where he could place his hands against your desk and lean over it. You swallowed the spit in your mouth and stared at him. You couldn't really say anything but you did nod. Michael grinned and offered his hand to you. "Sell your soul to Satan, like they did, and you can have him wrapped around your pinky plus the courage you need to get him." Michael said and you paused before taking his hand.
He leaned forward and kissed the back of your hand before walking out of the room. You paused for a second and looked down to your desk. You didn't feel any different at first, but then you heard your door to the lab opening. Mutt walked out through the door and nodded at you, saying he was running out to pick up lunch for them, leaving the door wide open behind him. You nodded and spun in your chair for a few moments after Mutt left your office.
That's when you heard Jeff call for you from the lab, so you walked over, already feeling yourself stand a bit taller. "Hey y/n can you help me with this coding? I can't find why I'm getting errors." He said and you walked around his desk looking at his laptop over his shoulder. You glanced over the code realizing really quickly that Jeff didn't fill in parts of the code, just leaving them blank. "You literally didn't fill out the whole code." You said and pointed at the computer screen before looking at Jeff. He was obviously staring at your chest. You smirked a little and played into it. Pushing your hands against the edge of his desk and pushing your breasts together as you leaned forwards to "look at the code".
You pointed to the screen and Jeff didn't look back to the screen from your chest. You stood up and he looked quickly up to your face. "Oh baby if you wanna stare that hard you might as well take a picture." You said and leaned back to sit on his desk. He stammered for a second before spitting out a simple "can you just help me with this?" You shrugged and looked at the computer and he continued to glance between your chest and the screen. After instructing him what to type in, his hands shook as he typed. Eventually you reached forwards and took his hands off his keyboard.
"Jeff, do you want me to help you?" You asked and he nodded a bit. Gently pushing his shoulder back, you moved onto his lap gently, sitting and facing his computer. You typed into the code silently, yet you could feel him adjust against your ass, his very prominent boner pressing against you. You just smiled to yourself as he stammered quietly behind you.
“C-can you help me with something else…” he asked softly, now pushing his blushing face against your shoulder from behind.
“Where do you need my help baby?” You asked, a smirk finding its way across your lips as he pushed against you with his dick. You took that as a sign and stood up, turning around in his lap to straddle him in his desk chair. “You want mommy to take care of your little problem?” You ask, your hand roaming down to gently rub him through his jeans. He nodded and moaned quietly against your shoulder.
Moving yourself up a bit, you unzipped his jeans and moved them down a bit so you could properly rub him through his boxers. God whatever Michael was, he definitely worked a bit of magic to get you to this place. Jeff whimpered under you as you rubbed him through his boxers. “Please…” he whimpered as you moved off of him and back to kneel on the ground between his knees.
As you kneeled down, Jeff hurriedly pushed his jeans down along with his boxers. “Slow down baby, don’t you wanna enjoy this?” You asked in a quiet voice and wrapped your hand around his length. It was harder than you would’ve thought for having just barely riled him up. As soon as you made contact with him his dick jumped and he whined. With that reaction you gripped him a bit harder and began to stroke him slowly, leaning in to lick the precum off his tip and giving small suckles to the tip as his hips bucked against your movements.
As your actions continued, you heard Jeff’s cell phone buzzing against his desk, you two paused to look at it. It was Mutt calling him. “Go on and answer it baby. I’m sure it’s really important.” You whispered and his shaky hand swiped the answer button and put it on speaker.
“Hey bro. They don’t have the sandwich that you usually get. What do you want instead?” Mutt’s voice sounded from the phone. You looked up to Jeff, now fully taking his length in your mouth and sucking on it roughly. He bit back a moan and there his head back against his office chair.
“Dude, h-honestly just get me whatever you got… whatever you got last time. I-It looked good.” He responded and let out a breath as you began to bob your head against him. Mutt paused for a second on the line.
“You said that it smelled like shit and that you hated it. What about that chicken one that you had a few days ago? I can make a stop on the way back if you’d prefer that. I know Y/n likes the soup from that place. Do you know if she brought lunch in today for herself?” Mutt asked and Jeff’s eyes lulled back in his head; both rolling his eyes at Mutt’s questioning but also at you lazily jerking him off as you sucked on his tip.
“Uh, it doesn’t look like it… I’d make the stop and get it just in case.” Jeff responded and as he spoke you doubled down and sucked a bit harder.
“She’s been doing pretty good lately. Can you remind me when I get back that I wanted her to put a new listing on the site? That fleshlight that you designed to look like her will be a top seller bro. And I bet you she’ll be none the wiser that it’s inspired by her.” Man if Jeff’s face wasn’t already beet red by this whole situation it was now.
“Y-yeah dude. I’ll remind you later. I’ll see you when you get back to the shop.” He spit out a quick goodbye and then hung up the phone. You pulled off of Jeff and looked at his face, which now refused to look back at yours. you hummed and stood up from where you knelt. Jeff looked at you quickly, scared you were upset by what Mutt had said over the phone. Instead you leaned against Jeff’s desk, slowly pulling yourself to sit on it. “A-are you mad?” He asked softly, looking up at you embarrassed.
“No, baby. But next time if you want to fuck me so badly…” you said as you undid your jeans in front of him. “Just ask. You don’t need a fleshlight when you can have the real thing.” You said and pushed down your jeans and panties infront of him. Leaning back on the desk, you stared him down. Your own hand came to grab his shaking one, placing it gently against your cunt. “Now how about you go ahead and give mommy a taste.” You said and he was on you in seconds.
You didn’t want to lose your dominance, but the second Jeff’s lips were basically devouring you, you couldn’t help but let out an almost pornographic moan. You’d think the man would be more focused on his own pleasure due to the fact that as his job, but the way he licked and sucked at your cunt told you he might’ve been using that fleshlight for things other than fucking. You reached down and grabbed a handful of his hair as he pushed a finger into you slowly. “Fuck baby. Just like that hun.” You mumbled and threw your head back as he thrust his finger in and out of you in speed with his tongue against your clit.
After not too long you felt your back arch against the cold table and your thighs squeeze around Jeff’s head as you came against his tongue. The moan you let out, you were sure Venable would hear, but honestly you weren’t too concerned about that now. What you were concerned about was Jeff’s face, patchy red and staring up at you from between your thighs. His hair was tousled and his eyes were glossy as he stared at you. “C-can I please fuck you? Please mommy…” He asked as he moved his finger out of you, but instead of fully removing it he moved it to rub your clit slowly.
You nodded at him and he eagerly stood from his chair. Glancing at him you saw a pretty big stain on his shirt and it became obvious very quickly that you were not the only one who came, but he was already hard as a rock again. Smirking silently to yourself, you pulled your shirt off. He looked over your bra clad chest as he adjusted himself between your legs. As he slowly pushed himself into you, you felt him shake a little bit from excitement and nervousness. Pushing in, he leaned over you a bit, silently staring at your breasts as he leaned above you.
“Go ahead baby.” You whispered and almost immediately your bra padding was pulled down and his lips were connected to your nipple, his other hand finding your other breast. He immediately began some small thrusts into you on instinct as he sucked. The thrusts soon became more forceful and purposeful and your moans became a bit more high pitched. You could tell his stamina wasn’t going to let him last long so you would get the most out of this that you can.
Jeff’s eyes were glued to you, hardly able to pull them away for fear that if he did you’d cease to exist. Your moans of his name felt like small blessings from whatever beings were out there and having you wrapped around him was somehow just a pure god send. As you noted his slow in pace, you looked down back to him, gently wrapping your hand around his throat and catching his attention. “Go faster Jeff.” you strained out and squeezed his neck. He obeyed and you leaned up to catch his lips in a kiss as you felt yourself topple over the edge, his own orgasm following only seconds later.
As he slowed, he didn't pull out immediately, instead you wrapped him up in the kiss. You two made out for a moment as you caught your breath. As you slowed and he pulled out, you excused yourself to the small bathroom the men had attached to their lab. After cleaning yourself quickly, you walked out and saw Jeff sitting at his desk again, Mutt walking into the lab almost the same time you were walking out of the bathroom. You smiled at Mutt as he handed you the soup he had mentioned before on the phone. “Thanks Mutt. By the way, it’s bold of you to assume I wouldn’t know what my own pussy looks like. That’s not it…” you pointed at the fleshlight sat at his desk. “Jeff, how about you show him what needs fixing.” You smiled at the men and walked back to your desk, shutting the door behind you.
