Hello there! My name is Professor Bellamy Amaryllis, though most people who know me call me Amy. My kid @eartheats encouraged me to make an account on here- I guess that's what all the cool kids are doing nowadays, haha!

I’m agender and intersex and use They/He pronouns- She for some specific people as well. I'm Polyam, as well, so no need to go telling my partner about seeing me out and about- I assure you she knows!

If you were a child or have been around children anytime in the last 7 years you might know me as the Wild Guy, from my TV show Professor Amaryllis’s Wild Days! While I've been off the air for a year or so it's bloomed in popularity even still- it's hard to go too far without someone knowing who I am, hah!

I'm a poison specialist (though I have an affinity for fairy types as well) and one of the overseeing professors at the Goldenrod Ecological Society, really just a fancy title for the person who makes sure all the science is ethical, reliable and well documented. It's a lot of admin and outreach work and while it keeps me busy it's quite fulfilling.

This is a personal account, so I’ll be talking more about my life than my job, so sorry if you’re looking for a blog of just pokemon facts, because this certainly is not it.

Signalis Post (barely coherent thought vomit)

So I finished signalis on Monday and i think ive just about recovered enough for me to make a gush post about it on tumblr dot com, which i think i have to do cause i dont think any other game has really hit me as hard as this one. Spoilers obvs.

Being pre-transion, with that associated depression and closing off from oneself, ive always found it difficult to get out my feelings, even in private with just myself, and yet signalis has filled me throughout with its beautiful romantic melancholy and left me genuinely sobbing for the gay robot and her space girlfriend (almost worried that if id played this game on estrogen it might actually have just killed me on the spot). the only other times i can think of where i really cried were playing We Know The Devil near the beginning of the year, which really fkin hit the part of me that struggles to accept myself, and that time i rewatched the last episode of she-ra after reading the ‘Word War Etheria’ fanfic, which brings the characters so much more to life i fell for them all over again.

Signalis is a game that calls back to a lot of classic horror like resident evil and silent hill, which i havent got round to playing any of yet, but i think nostalgia works both ways sometimes and i’ll be playing them sooner now. sometimes horror gets stereotyped as all death and violence, some games fill themselves with skulls and corpses, and big ugly monsters and basically shout ‘DEATH!’ in your face repeatedly and it all just comes off as a bit garish and ridiculous and not actually very scary really. Signalis sits at the other end of that scale (with some of my other fav horror games like soma, cry of fear) where its environs are most usually just… quiet. Still. Muffled. Sad. just as often as theres tension or creeping fear because of this i find theres a strange kind of comfort too. Maybe its just that in most other genres of games theres so much of music, UI elements, pickups and interactibles with vibrant design. Here, theres room for your mind to just occupy the space. A soft fog. A dimly lit room. An empty train. Snow out a window. Liminal spaces that dont expect anything from you.

Signalis is a game thats just simply, unapologetically gay, and i dont think i would have been quite so invested in Elster and Ariane’s relationship if they were a straight couple. Its why representation is important, if art’s way for us to explore our emotions then its important to have media that we can relate to. Even Adler’s role isnt typically masculine. Our replika characters are manufactured, designed for certain roles in the base. Notes from the tough Stars and Storchs in the shooting range, the dollish Eules with the fairy lights and music player in the dorm. I couldnt help but think of groups of Eules sat around chatting, together, and im yearning for that feeling of togetherness, of understanding a friend that closely. I somehow missed the couple in the mineshaft (next playthough, ill find you v_v ). Despite the harshness of life in the Eusan nation (especially for the gestalts) the characters in it are defined by their feelings of belonging and hope. With the obvious parallels to east germany, i think of posters of cosmonauts and space travel from the time. Propaganda, sure but also made with the genuine belief in something greater. When the events of the game take this away, well, we find the last Kolibri, whod rather lose herself than lose her [ah. Im not sure theres a word here to properly describe the relationship they embody]. Its a game defined by loneliness.

We dont lie up at night scared by some corrupted android. We arent stuck with horror at the flesh everywhere, not on its own. We lie awake thinking about Elster and Ariane’s love for each other, the horror of their decline, the futility of trying to hold on forever. Its existential horror done perfectly. It shows an ending postponed and stretched far beyond its limits, and so squarely reminds you that you do, in fact, have to die one day. You’ll break down. One day you’ll say your last words to the people you love and you wont even know you have. Ariane’s final few diaries arrive with the full force of the narrative behind it, like a spear through my heart. For the record, I got the promise ending. Im still sad. It's a game about raging desperately against an unfair ending. I might think about this game for the rest of my life. I would sincerely say its an artistic masterpiece, by the sure definition of video games as art.

I like that the story leaves a lot open and abstract. I think it makes the emotional themes takes centre stage more. And i havent had nearly enough time to sift through it and come up with my own takes, we’ll need a few more playthroughs for that. And theres so much more to say that cant go in just these few paragraphs! Signalis is a game about two girls who had to run away from everything to find someone they belonged with. The universe may be cold and bleak, but you have to try, you might just find something beautiful, even if it doesnt last forever. I think if anything, we should all have the chance to find love and happiness like that, and we shouldnt have abandon a world that doesnt work for us to do it.

i feel like starting some shit so im just gonna come out and say it. the way devsisters treats m/m relationships (and honestly? any kind of straightn’t relationship) is really starting to bug me

its not at a point where i feel comfortable calling it “queerbaiting” but by god it is getting close. i was already iffy on the way they treated espresseleine (remember the valentines day post? i try not to) but the way wildberry and crunchy chip were written in odyssey and ESPECIALLY odyssey chapter three really sealed the deal for me in terms of, yeah, theyre pandering to fujoshis here. it hasnt been long since odyssey ended but i have a gut feeling that wildberry and crunchy arent gonna show up again for a long time, if ever. which when you consider how often they dipped their toes into “hohohoehoho oh man isnt this kinda gay? aint this kinda fruity” territory (the scene where wildberry carries him. they absolutely knew what they were doing) without ever doing anything that implies any kind of unambiguous romantic attraction between them started to feel really skeevy the longer it went on. like, haha, look at these two guys being stupid and gay together. too bad you’re probably never gonna see them again and we’re never gonna elaborate beyond that lol :) i could be proven wrong but i’d be genuinely surprised if i was.

and thats not even getting into how they have a tendency to use same sex crushes for comedic purposes. theres milk cookies crush on dark choco which, at this point, can NOT be interpreted as anything other than romantic. and while not a m/m example, pomegranate’s in a similar situation where they’ve done everything to imply she has some kind of psychosexual obsession with dark enchantress cookie that isn’t just making her say “man i sure do wanna fuck my boss” in the game itself. thankfully sea fairy and moonlight’s relationship hasn’t been used to tease fans or played for laughs, but that should be the standard, not the exception.

it’s important to mention that cookie run generally hasn’t dabbled in any kind of explicit romantic relationships between its characters until recently, mint choco and cocoa cookie’s relationship is the first time they’ve shown it so openly and even then, they aren’t officially dating. but still, their relationship is played completely seriously, while gay ships, m/m ships especially, have to linger in some weird state of either being used for comedic effect, or used to tease fans who start foaming at the mouth uncontrollably when two men have any interaction that could be interpreted as even SLIGHTLY homoerotic.

i dunno man, just. let two men have a relationship on the same level as mint choco and cocoa’s without it being played for goofs. stop using pomegranate cookie’s unhealthy obsession with a woman who it’s heavily implied is manipulating her for “haha shes a SIMP” jokes. i know its a little dumb of me to expect good lgbt representation from a gacha game owned by a big company but they’ve done a good job with handling things like nonbinary characters and AGAIN we have sea fairy and moonlight proving they can do it at least somewhat decently and. im tired

this is your neighbor, calem leblanc-balbir. he's a fairy-type specialist who works as diantha's personal assistant. he's quite the renaissance man -- manager, artist, poet, musician, linguist, historian. and he's continuing the 2headlightshine trademark of main characters who arent protagonists.

calem leblanc is 16 when you meet him. he's kinda vain and full of himself and a jerk and he makes fun of your mom for rhyhorn racing. but he's a good friend beneath all the glitz and glamour. he's a loyal young man. a perceptive young man, a little too aware of your gruff persona. a painfully selfless young man. this is his blessing and his curse.

you are 16 when the ultimate weapon blossoms from geosenge town, pulsing with a core powered by death itself. you are the hero of this story, and they send you down beneath the earth on a funeral procession, with your jacket tied around your shoulders like burial robes. you know you are going to die. the adults who sent you down there know you are going to die. the man who is firing the weapon knows you are both going to die.

your neighbor refuses to accept that you will die.

calem leblanc steals the maps of the man who is firing the weapon, and he finds the Tree of Life, imprisoned beneath the earth to prevent its interference with the ultimate weapon.

calem kneels before the Tree, hand over his heart.

"i need your help," he pleas. "my friend -- serena dupont -- she is going to die, and there is no one there to save her from her fate. Xerneas Cornucopion, Breath of All Living Things -- i know i am not strong enough to save her from this curse. but if it be your will, i willingly trade my life for hers. i lay myself here at your roots. let me be her sword and shield. i am not smart, or brave, or kind, but i am here, and i am ready."

calem leblanc frees the Tree of Life from its chains. on its back, he rides into battle. no one on earth has ever been more joyous to participate in a funeral procession.

calem arrives just in the nick of time. the tree's roots spread. Death, startled and in immense agony, aims its Oblivion Wing at you. a figure cased in pink light rushes in front of you and absorbs the blow. the world goes white.

you both survive, but not untouched.

the Tree saw a proper messenger in calem. in the moment he laid down his life, it gifted him the Boon of Life, knowing he would use it for the good of others. now, even as you make your way through your mid-twenties, you can already notice he doesn't age. when he touches you, it soothes your aches and pains. when he holds diantha's hands, her arthritis eases. once he dropped a kitchen knife on his foot -- the blood sparkled and dissipated, and the wound healed in minutes. when he's emotional, he glows. it would be funny if not for the reality of what it means for him. and for you, detective serena dupont, tasked by your superiors at interpol to apprehend abnormalities just like this. just like you.

your sword and shield took most of the blow, but he could not protect all of you. you carry the Kiss of Death and you know it. the discoloration slowly creeps out from your chest like spider veins. and as calem maintains his stupidly flawless complexion, your face shows age faster and faster compared to your untouched peers. your bones ache, and your mind struggles to keep up -- but most of all, your soul strains. death will come to collect its dues eventually. it isn't evil, or ill-intentioned, but simply natural order.

calem leblanc is working himself to the bone in order to defy fate a second time. he works a dayjob as a personal assistant for retired actress diantha diamandis. then he picks up dinner, rushes home, and spends every waking hour left researching remedies for the kiss of death. there isn't one. not yet. maybe it's still out there. maybe he's the remedy. maybe it's love, like in the fairytales. maybe life and death can only run from each other for so long before they meet in the middle.

but he's not giving up. not on this. not on you.

you can see in his face -- his blessing is a curse after all. but he'll never put that burden on you. he's always been selfless like that.

No hate b like,, why did someone post a “Rewrite the Stars” edit of Bloom and Sky?? Literally nothing about their relationship is earthshaking.

Sure there’s the arranged marriage w Diaspro, but that hardly takes up even a fraction of the show’s runtime. (Tho tbf they hardly ever focus on plot shit in the show so rlly it prolly got just as much time as the Bloom Training Arc)

And besides that, they find out Bloom is a PRINCESS. Literally the furthest thing from conflict of interest when marrying into a royal family. They’re literally two royals in love, I dont know how that is in any way at conflict with rest of the world for more than (what? 2?) 2 episodes.

Now Bloom x ICY on the other hand. A fairy dating a witch? Gasp. They’re polar opposites! And don’t they hate each other’s guts bc of (at least in blooms case (you arent helping, Stella)) preconceived notions abt the other side (and the whole Ring of Solaria thing but who’s counting)?

And what if they fell in love despite that?? What if them being polar opposites (fairy/witch, fire/ice) drove them together. What if Bloom started crushing hard on Icy for her “id kill a bitch” demeanor, while Icy appreciated Bloom’s honesty (which is a rare commodity for a witch outside of her coven)?

Ok you got me I just want more Bloom x Icy content…

rules: answer as many (or as few) of the questions about your WIP as you can.

1. What was the first part of your wip that you created?

probably the concept of a god of the forest saving a villager from the wild hunt. i didnt have loifa or rowan created, mind, just the vague idea of a god interrupting mischievous fairies who were about to kill/kidnap/do gods know what to a village boy who made a very stupid mistake. the whole scene is now an interlude in fantasy romance wip.

2. If your story was a TV show, what would the theme song/intro be?

no clue, honestly. shout out to queen's deception from the destiny soundtrack though, it'd have a similar vibe.

3. Who are your favourite characters you've made? Why?

from fantasy romance wip? im risking being obvious here, but its between loifa and rowan. probably rowan, i think. the boy is just trying SO hard and loifa is just SO much to deal with. tbh he has older sister energy and i sympathize with that.

4. What other pieces of media do you think would share a fan base for your story?

that's a very interesting question. my wip is mostly inspired by the fifth season and ffxiv, but in very different ways, so it's hard for me to say that ppl who liked both would like it. bc you know... fantasy romance wip is a romance (allegedly!)... and the fifth season and ffxiv aren't...

(well, ffxiv is if you try hard enough but)

let's say i wouldnt be surprised if someone who liked nettle & bone and the cruel prince also liked fantasy romance wip. id expect that person to be aroace and/or queer in some way though, ngl.

5. What has been your biggest struggle with your wip?

the middle!!! and the length!! it's kinda bizarre just how much needs to happen and how i need to fit so much into a standalone and i still have no middle to speak of?? like how does that even happen

also, you know... the romance.... :(

6. Are there any animals in your story? Talk about them!

lots of animals!! or beasts in general. good honest folk (cows, horses, sheep just minding their business and being slaughtered for no good reason by Things) and the mischievous crowd (carnivorous deer, three eyed owls, said Things), etc. no little guys to speak of so far, though.

7. How do your characters get around? (ex: trains, horses, cars, dragons, etc.)

on foot. there are only like two horses left in the marrow (the village) and they are working horses, so they arent used for travel/getting around.

8. What part of your wip are you working on rn?

(through blood, sweat and tears) [the beginning of] the middle!!!!

9. What aspects (tropes, maybe?) of your wip do you think will draw people in?

weird magical forest + god/mortal relationship + tiny town/village energy + secrets + the aroace lens. basically.

10. What are your hopes for your wip?

id be very contented if i finished it honestly :(

Performative Slacktivism - Or how CRWBY and the FNDM want brownie points without putting effort into actual representation

(Also, how the FNDM keep using Montys name for petty arguments like the ghoulish fucks they are)

I know that we all are waiting for tomorrows episode and the moderation team is already gearing up for a possible shitshow depending on what the episode decides to do. But today i have noticed a bit of an old discussion rearing up again that i really wanted to adress.

I think i will not be out of line to say that RT is a shit corporation. But that alone does not bother me too much, shit corporations are common in our day and age. What always got to me is how RT kept pretending to be progressive, how they put on a show of being pro LGBT+, pro people of colour and the like, and yet their products have for the most part been devoid of actually showing that.

Sure, the creators will SAY that they are LGBT+, and then take FIVE and TEN years to confirm a single lesbian relationship (Of one which is for side-characters). And they will include a trans character after SEVEN years of production (Only to later be revealed that the person who voice acted that character experienced shitty behaviour at work in regards to their identity).

They will SAY that they are pro people of colour, only for the four main characters of the show be so white they glow in the dark and most dark-skinned characters either being relegated to background characters, antagonists/villains and/or being stereotypes until 4 years after the start of RWBY, Oscar was created? Or should i mention the piss poor writing of their racism allegory and the WF, which is very much created based on the Civil Rights era in the US? Writing so shit that it somehow manages to spread alt-right messages without intending to?

What im trying to say is that RT are and always have been fake ass progressives. They arent even rainbow capitalists, even rainbow capitalists (like Disney) do more than RT. RT does not even bother to put even THAT much effort.

RT wants brownie points for being progressive while being ANYTHING but. That would be bad enough, but the rabid Fandom that RT has cultivated seems to be intent on doing EXACTLY the same.

This is the first tweet that i saw on the topic. Yang is Chinese? Since fucking when? Shes whiter than the fucking white bread i make sandwitches with. She is whiter than the fucking snow! Instead of "using ones brains" maybe you will use your eyes?

This lead me to more brainrot than i could ever post here, so i will only post a few of the comments that i saved before i felt my brain leaking out of my fucking ears.

It seems that most of the "arguments" around Yang being Chinese center around her name (Which, by the way is written in the OPPOSITE way than it should be). Which in my opinion is quite a stupid fucking argument considering that my last name from my mothers side is part Polish and part German (Not gonna post it for obvious reasons), but im pretty fucking sure i aint Polish OR German.

The other argument is that both Yang AND Ruby have Chinese culture in their designs? Let me remind you that Ruby wears a gothic Lolita outfit, wields a Scythe and if i am not misremembering had a fucking cross around her neck. What about THAT is chinese? The ONLY argument there would be that Ruby has Japanese inspirations due to the gothic Lolita outfit. Scythe is associated with European conception of death (And as a farming implement) and the Cross is in the same category. Not to mention that Ruby is based on an European Fairy tale of the Red Riding Hood!

Yang on the other hand is based off Goldylocks (Another European fairy Tale) and has associations with Beauty and the Beast (Yet ANOTHER European fairy Tale). Nothing of what she wears has any distinguishable style. In fact Yang is so generic you can put her anywhere in the world and it would most likely fit.

Also, "Her name references a martial artists" thing really reeks of fucking whiteness. Yes? It does? How is that relevant? If i am named after a martial artist im suddenly Chinese now???

There is also another very unsubtle sinophobia, when talking about the Branwens being Japanese to prove that Yang is Chinese... I know that to Americans regions very much become blurred but holy shit, the LACK of thought that China and Japan are not the same just because they share a race is...... Its fucking insane...

The only partially valid argument i have seen is that people of White colour can also be Chinese/Japanese or come from any part of the world. Which is fair. IN THE REAL WORLD. This aint the fucking real world! This world of Remnant is created! They dont even have our countries! Mistral has a mix of Japan/China/Greek aesthetics.

JUST LOOK AT THEM! The supposedly "German" Weiss somehow has MORE colour than the "Chinese" sisters! Blake is the only one that has actual colour in her cheeks (And is STILL white). Ruby and Yang look like they would glow in the dark if i turned off the light! They would make a fucking shut-in blush with how pale they are! They are whiter than the milk in my fucking Cereal!

And you know what makes me mad? Because the show COULD have made these people actually have features of people of colour. Blakes Parents live on a TROPICAL ISLAND! Why the fuck is Blakes skin not olive or even darker? It COULD have been! But it isnt! IF Yang and Ruby are Chinese, where the hell are there ANY identifying features of them being Chinese?

The reason is simple. RT DOESNT CARE ABOUT REPRESENTATION! IT does not give a single solitary shit on a sunny summer afternoon about progressivism. The main 4 characters of the show are 4 glow in the dark white girls voiced by.... White women! (Yknow, its funny how they say that Yang is chinese and then full on not even acknowledge the good old chestnut of "Minority roles should be given to minorities")

I hate these fake progressive fuckers from the bottom of my heart. These people are more interested at licking the boots of a shitty corporation than actual representation! There is no argument, no LOW these fanatics will not sink to as long as they can worship a capitalist corporation, and im sick and tired of them pretending to be progressive. Because they fucking aint.

Also...

I hope that the fandom who weaponizes Monty. Burns to the ground. Previously, i did not care about V10 being greelit. I would not mind if it got greenlit or not. But when i see shit like this, all i wish is for V10 to never be greenlit. So that ghoulish corpsedigging necromatic fucks would fuck off.

Imagine using Monty as a cudgel for petty internet arguments. The fandom is a shithole, and they can PRETEND to be nice all they wish. But everyone can see these fuckers act like this.

prescriptive vs. descriptive, aesthetic vs. subculture

Anybody else tired of seeing terms for aesthetics get treated like they're prescriptive when really some terms are just descriptive?? Especially on social media sites with fast trend cycles, primarily TikTok, people just come up with words to describe how they dress, and then it ends up being a list of guidelines after going through the worst game of telephone. Is there even really a subculture around it? Not for a lot of the common terms I see. Even if there's no real subculture behind the fashion, people will fight tooth in nail in someone's comment section saying that they aren't the term they used to describe themself. For example, fairy grunge is just a description of grunge with fairy elements, which is exactly what it sounds like. It's pretty open to interpretation. What part of that is a specific set of guidelines? I can understand if the term is just not very accurate, but being a pain in someone's comments because they "aren't REALLY xyz" for something that isn't even much of a subculture is insane to me. Is there fairy grunge music? Are there fairy grunge shows? Not really. Some artists might fit the bill well enough, but they usually also fall into a larger category that they consider themselves to be. I'm going to save my thoughts about subculture and the internet for later, but I think you get the idea. There's a massive difference between an aesthetic on TikTok and a subculture, and treating aesthetics just as seriously as subcultures doesn't make any sense.

okey another little ideas and headcanons for the argentina cross guild au??thing?? idk

im having so much fun doing this...

they arent called cross guild, they are called Cruz de los Giles, name provided by our beloved chairman of course. at the proposition both mihawk and crocodile were completely opossed ("seriously, clown. no ones gonna respect us with a name like that") but buggy insists that its a great name for a mild undercover while the thing grows wealthier and more powerful until eventually the whole world will learn to fear Cruz de los Giles unexpectedly. and well, thats a good point and crocodile redunctanly agrees. mihawk is very amused (though he doesnt show it) at the idea of being called Cruz de los Giles because he thinks that it represents very well all the people working under them.

obviously all of buggys crew are so fucking amused. Cruz de los Giles sounds so good. its hilarious. everybody loves it.

they dont live in Karai Bari island. instead, the island they live in looks like the zone around El Bolson (incluiding Lago Puelo and El Hoyo), the mountains, the cascades, the villages, the sand sorrounding some lakes.

they recreute the villagers or kill them off idk, lets pretend that instead of being big villages they are just tiny small populated villages easy to conquer idk

and the big tents and stuff is located around el bolsons main plaza, but mihawk crocodile and buggy live in actual houses they stole and redecorated at their style so they just look like that photo of the black house next to the pink house yea that one.

buggy loves to escape into the fairy woods to hear weird shit and be scared of it but he likes it anyway, he also found some caves behind a cascade and he made it into his secret little room. no one ever enters because it seems that people are fucking alergic to water in this crew.

buggy alvida and mr 3 are of the few who shower both willingly and regularly because it isnt sea water, it doesnt affect devil fruit users, is literally de-iced water so even tho its ICE COLD its still cool to shower and no excuse.

they sometimes shower in some lakes sometimes in some rivers sometimes below cascades.

it doesnt matter if they go showering alone or not, they agreed to always take richie with them because cougars and jabalis are everywhere and yes, they could easily defend themselves from some wild animals but they would prefer not to fight with their ding dongs out. so if they have richie he sleeps just at the shore of whichever body of water theyre in and just his presence will scare away the wild animals.

its funny for crocodile to watch the clown run wildly in the maze trying to get out while mihawk just, walks calmly and gets out. and if someone were to ask buggy, crocodile doesnt deserve to be called winner because he obviously cheats with his sand powers and nobody likes cheaters. (he would never say that to crocodile, he just likes to imagine himself doing it)

Fluffy Halloween idea for farm clexa

Clarke helps her kids carve jack-o'-lanterns or decorate pumpkins if they're too young to handle a knife. The kids will also help Lexa bake pumpkin pie or other pumpkin flavored treats. Lexa will sew and create homemade Halloween costumes for her kids. Clarke and Lexa then take their entire family out trick or treating around their neighborhood

Oh 🥺

October is usually a lovely yet busy time on the farm. Everything is just so cozy around it. But it also means prepping for winter and doing anything that needs to get done before the snow starts. And of course aside from work, it is a time with many activities to do with the kids.

The pumpking carving with the kids is always as memorable as it is messy. Clarke will spend a good chunk of the afternoon gutting seven pumpkins and making sure to save the insides so Lexa can use them for various baking adventures. Then there's getting the kids outside and explaining to them what they're going to do.... about five times. Madi and Saige know so they keep wanting to start with the carving. The twins are already fighting for no reason. Aden is cranky from his nap. Skie pokes Willows pumpkin, so now she's crying. Saige is pouting because she wants to paint hers like Aden instead of carving. Clarke is trying to show then how to do it while Lexa breaks out fights and tries to make sure every kids ends up with the same number of fingers and eyes they started.

Its a mess. A fun mess at the end. Crooked and silly faced pumpkins but after getting the hang of it the kids love it and Lexa and Clarke even manage to work on their own pumpkjns while the kids are focused on theirs. Even if they arent the most beautiful and cohesive pumpkin patch in the world, Lexa and Clarke smile everyday as they pass by the pumpkin on their front step 🎃

The cottage smells so good the entire fall. Spices and pumpkin, honey and apple. Lexa bakes so much during this time, both for the house and for sale. The rain outside, the entire farm in those orange brown tones, the kitchen table cleared as the kids help Lexa roll dough for pies and there is always something boiling on the stove. Lexa constantly slapping Clarke's hands away from the pie fillings and cake batter. Of course at least once during the season Clarke will bake her pumpkin spice bread. Its still Lexa's favorite thing to eat with her tea and always brings her back to her pregnancy with Madi and Clarke's warm pumpkin bread being served to her still hot.

The costumes are always another thing that keeps the family busy. Store bought costumes for five kids is way too much money and despite Lexa's love for sewing and knitting its impossible for her to make them from scratch. Repeated costumes and slightly alterared ones are a big thing in their family and what is hard to simply adjust will be found at the thrift shop in town. Luckily the kids tend to prefer accessible things fairies and witches, vampires and cowboys. With some of Lexa's sewing skills and Clarke's craftiness they usually pull out some pretty adorable costumes for the kids, who are always so excited to wear them to trick or treat in town (because some of the farms are away from the town and its harder to trick or treat there the town usually organizes it so even the kids that dont live in the town can do it).

The kids love it and since they dont get all that much candy they go wiild with trading with each other for the ones they like the most. For Lexa and Clarke is very sweet watching them be kids and love the holiday but truth is as much as they love october, as november arrives Lexa and Clarke feel a little relief before Christmas peaks around the corner because oof if ot wasnt a busy month 😅

basil wants the rest of us to wait outside so they can talk to parsley. parsley doesnt want us waiting in the hallway but basil wont drop it. parsley just sighs and drags basil out lol. as soon as the door closes teya starts snooping around the room xD

basil is fucking pissed at parsley for leaving without even a goodbye. things got really bad after he left. moms a dickhead. basil says the worst part was thinking parsley wasnt coming back but he only came back for his wings. 'your silence speaks enough.' JESUS. they still missed him and turns away. moms not gonna just let him leave. dont even leave a note if you get out.

parsley grabs their wrist and says theres no excuse but he is sorry and missed them. he admits he might not come back and hes awful and they deserve better. he says hes a coward. basil calls him an idiot xD basil warns him cause mom has something planned to force him to stay. parsley asks if basil wants to meet his friends. 'sure lets meet the replacements.'

senna is dusting the room its fucking dirty. teya is snooping and looking at the old drawings of parsley. wheatley takes a picture of each photo. teya finds a violin! wheatley somehow sneezes off dust. teya also finds handwritten sheetmusic. teya finds fancy clothing in a wardrobe. senna is also examining the clothes so fancy!

senna starts reading the sheet music. wheatley goes onto the balcony and shakes the dust off lol. teya uses sending! zen flops on the bed and releases a bunch of dust pissing senna off xD android suddenly stands up and says "do you think he had a diary?" blackmail! zen mumbles that its not nice to do that but teya reminds him he stole a picture from her house. wheatley joins the team!

senna puts the violin and sheetmusic in her token for safety. everyone yells at her wtf. android finds a dagger under the bed xD wheatley examines the dagger and puts it back under the bed. senna presti's wheatley and android for redusting the damn room. android and teya are sniping again.

senna checks the pillows quick for the diary. wheatley flops down next to zen lol. zens getting a weird feeling again. he says it would be hard for god to remove us from the feywilds easily. android goes and stands on the balcony to scout the area. teya reads her brothers book and senna pulls the violin/sheetmusic out and keeps reading that.

one of the songs on the sheetmusic is fairy fountain from zelda xD senna hums it to herself. zen wonders where us organics will sleep. senna says she can meditate on the floor, teya can sleep on her lap if she doesnt wanna sleep on parsleys bed. zen naturally offers himself.

parsley and basil arrive! senna asks if parsley wrote the sheet music. basil asks parsley where he got wheatley since his kind has been showing up in the woods, rude. they also say they hasnt seen many firbolgs lately. 'whats the timeframe on lately?' basil comments not to say thank you cause thats bad xD

'he left and didnt tell us why and he doesnt even know.' 'story time i guess!' parsley left cause of an arranged marriage! 'she gonna resume the arrangement?' 'maybe she'll try for an even worse marriage?' wheatley starts pulling out his gun xD parsley shakes his head and he puts the gun away. basil says the marriage thing has gone and passed. called off. only mother 'knew' he would come back. 'she said that when i left actually.' even if basil knew what she was up to they arent allowed to talk about it.

senna comments about the archfey making an impossible deal to force him to stay here. parsley rubs his face tiredly. basil says they have to go or mother will be pissy. nice to meetcha. 'dont get too attached to parsley he'll abandon you too.' teya overhears basil mention something about firbolgs as they leave hmmm.

time to rest since ya know nothing else to do. senna does her dragon training. zen is taking up the entire bed goddamn. parsley reads his music notes. wheatley whines for parsley to get into bed xD hes also holding teya tightly lol. SP is just doing donut in the middle of the room. senna and the dragon are just. stuck in a standstill. not getting better but also not worse. she wakes up after shooting the dragon in the eye with an ice shard cause it shot back with a fireball to the face now she has a headache. she goes to stand on the balcony for a while with android.

theres no nighttime here just like an eclipse somehow. SP rolled over to wheatley for uppies onto the bed. teya gets up to grab parsley cause their gonna make a deal oooo. pinky promise! defeat zorbolt or die trying. as they let go a spark appears and disappears. deal dealed! parsley drops that he is 'technically' an archfey lol. teya asks for warlock powers xD.

parsley doesnt wanna sleep in a pile boo. zen tricks parsley into getting into bed when they get off, then they pile on him xD teya still takes the chair. android looks back and laughs. 'wanna join u-' 'no.' teya writes in her journel. wheatley gets up and sits on teya. its chaos hour wtf xD zen sighs sadly and lets parsley go and getting off the bed. wheatley gets off teya and sits on the floor by zen.

zen says tomorrow is gonna be busy, like some outside force? hmmm. parsley leaves to get food and some guards follow him. he sees rosemary at the table! shes not very talkative hmm. teya steals parsleys bed xD

sennas arm itches and it has more scales, sigh. she can see the land itself moving around, neat. android comments his god doesnt know much about the feywilds. senna says she was told it was made of primordial chaos. like spingledorfs orb maybe. this land existed before Gaia. who the fuck knows xD dont try to solve the feywilds.

android asks what will we do if it comes to a fight. 'kill her!' thanks wheatley. senna comments about the silver box and her jewerly. android says if we would leave him here. prepare for the worst case. yeah were fighting for parsley we cant leave him here. loyalty!

archfey bullshit. 'we WERE told you need all 4 of us to beat zorbolt.' parsley did his best to help teya, gotta repay the favor. were not leaving him here android.

rosemary says parsley shouldnt have come back and leaves. parsley returns to the room and sighs and flops on the bed. he calls over wheatley lol. as we go to sleep parsley dreams himself in the woods. fiddlefink is pissed lol. his sleep paralysis demon xD good morning!
