On Saturday afternoon, Talulah and I took the afternoon off and headed to Greenwich. Nothing new there but we hadn't been to The Painted Hall before. It is absolutely stunning. I have no words for it. While the buildings of the Royal Naval College were designed by Christopher Wren, the baroque ceiling and wall decorations were designed and painted by James Thornhill and his team. I just happened to be in the Upper Hall, turned around and saw a Grandad showing his grandchild around. What do you do to chill at the weekend? One of my favourite things to do is jump on the DLR and go to Greenwich. The place is so full of history and there are so many beautiful buildings. It's just so relaxing, there's always something new to see. I also love how you can be sitting among these beautiful buildings designed by Sir Christopher Wren. It's amazing to have a UNESCO World Heritage Site on our doorstep. Here's a lovely old wooden bench outside The Painted Hall.
