Dude, I feel really guilty because Quackity's recent behavior feels really out of left field for me.

Like, I started watching him on the DSMP and his desire to include people that were never really included by Wilbur made me happy and made me think he was cool. Sure, he could get carried away with characters and bits, but he was never malicious with them.

But now this whole thing with the mod and basically being in direct competition with Dream? It just feels weird and like it's not actually him and instead someone else telling him to do this. I know that sounds crazy, but it's the best way I can describe it.

okay wait let me be a little unserious for one second but i actually laughed out loud at this bc me and moth were in vc and as a joke started memeing about how mr beast is actually calling the shots for dtkq and how he told both quackity and dream to start the same project but didn't tell quackity that dream was doing the same thing as him to start drama and so all the usmp vs qsmp drama was orchestrated by mr beast as part of his experiment but quackitys reaction is genuine because he is pissed that mr beast played him like that and then it hit us that somehow our explanation makes way more sense than whatever is currently happen

and how the fuck is a mr beast conspiracy a better explanation than anything quackity has given us 😭💀

Saw that you asked for a timeline a couple weeks ago ab her ex! I was around since the start of Tina officially streaming (among us era being 3 yrs ago wtf…) but I remember the timeline of Tina and her ex relationship, when she met everyone, kina timeline, etc.

December 2020:

- Tina and Karl first meet in one of the otv among us lobbies, they were very silly funny and got along quickly

- That same day they followed each other on socials, and subbed to each other on twitch; karl tweeted to her that they should play more games (bonded over shared interests)

- They played and interacted in the big OTV rust server

January 2021:

- Karl gift 50 subs to Tina, and she also mods him

- Karl who was in Tina’s chat and she asks him to join the lobby she was in

- Tina tweeted that she was cold and Karl suggested she buy a scarf that he also owns so they can match (she did buy it)

- Karl joins tina art streams

Feb 2021:

- Corpse Karl and Tina made a discord vc where they hang out, talk and play games offline (they named it ‘not live’)

- Karl told Tina he’s watched her youtube vids and he knows her impostor tells

The next morning I’m awake before y/n so I slip out of bed take a quick shower and then go make some simple breakfast for us just some chocolate chip pancakes and bacon… I’m nearly finished with the pancakes when I feel arms wrap around my stomach and a soft weight on my back, I smile softly sighing as I turn around and hold them in my arms… I decide to use my voice despite it being so early and knowing my voice will be extra raspy and rough I know it’ll make them happy and it’ll be easier than trying to sign and cook… “Good morning y/n sleep well?” I press a gentle kiss to their head and they look up at me sleepily “mhm best sleep I’ve had in *yawn* ages it was real nice” I feel my heart seize as they yawn and my smile widens “That’s good, you can go ahead and sit down and I’ll bring you your food once your last pancake is done and then you can shower and I was thinking we could go shopping and then later after we nap from shopping we could do a special stream something where we have to speed run Minecraft while the other person distracts us?”

After eating I quickly took a shower and got dressed, we fed and checked on Phineas and Isabella and soon enough were out the door! Once in the car Calla let me have charge over the aux I didn’t really pick specific songs just ones that came to mind randomly but one came on and my eyes widen and I blush realizing how fitting the lyrics are… The song in question? It’s cheesy, it’s old, by now it’s even a little cringey but it’s oh so fitting… Back for u by one direction… Sure the crowd lyric isn’t exact but you’re able to make a connection instead of just a crowd you think of how you always ask where Callahan is when your on one of your guys friends streams and he’s not there or even just hanging in VC with everyone and he’s not there… But you can even relate to the crowd lyric directly honestly… You always search for him in your list of viewers when you’re streaming and he’s not in VC or at the very least in game and when you’re watching your friends stream you’re looking for him in the viewers there as well…

The lyrics come crashing down more and more as the drive begins and you feel tears in your eyes realizing there’s only a couple days left before you have to go home… It seems like youtubes mix is set to out to make you sob as song after song about having to leave the one you love comes on… Calla notices your silence and frowns as he uses his thumb to softly stroke your hand… Suddenly that combined with the only reason by 5SOS beginning to play makes you burst into full tears… Luckily by now you had made it to the mall so Calla quickly parked and wordlessly got out, opened your door, grabbed your wallet and phone,and scooped you into his arms sitting on the parking lot ground with you not caring if any onlookers see, his only priority at this very moment…He set your stuff beside him as he held you rubbing your back and rocking you gently shushing you… A good five minutes or so passed and you finally collected yourself enough to speak and apologize “I-I’m sorry I just… I’m usually not like this it’s just I… well I started thinking about how I leave in just two days and started thinking about how much I’m going to miss being with you…” He sighed softly cupping your cheek as he used his other hand to sign “You could always stay an extra day or two maybe even another week!” You shook your head “I can’t Karl has to go out of town for a mr beast video next week and my flights been booked since before I got here” Calla frowns softly kissing your forehead before pulling back a wide smile on his face “I’ll just come back with you! After we get done shopping we can go home and get me all packed and I’ll just come with you!” You begin to smile but then frown softly

“But calla what about the guys needing your help with videos and streams? How are you gonna help them?” He shrugs softly “I could just try and use your set up although then you wouldn’t be able to stream…” You shake your head “Well we could always go to Best Buy and I can buy a set up that’ll be just good enough to get you through for a week and then over time I can buy parts to upgrade it so you can do whatever you need whenever you visit!” He nods excitedly “That sounds great! We can go the day after we get there and I can buy it” you begin to agree but then stop yourself “yea that sounds- wait no no no you’re not buying it I’m buying it” he shakes his head “no I’m buying it you’re basically getting it just for me so therefore I should buy it” you huff softly “Well yea but I’m sure others will use it too so how about we just go half’s okay?” He smiles softly nodding “Okay I’m good with that, so are you ready to go in or? No rush no rush I’m just wondering” You kiss his cheek “Yea sure let’s go do I can spoil you” he scoffs softly shaking his head as you stand and you help him up “I’m gonna spoil you!” You shake your head back giggling “no no I’m spoiling you!”

You take off giggling and he runs after you smiling widely and in no time catches you and then places you behind him and he starts to take off but you squeeze his sides and he jumps and you’re able to get in front of him again but he quickly regains himself and grabs you again but instead of setting you behind him he just smiles lovingly at you as he sets you beside him and grabs your hand. You giggle happily kissing his ear making him giggle and scrunch his shoulder softly, your smile widens as you walk into the mall hand in hand swinging your arms softly.. The first store you go to is H&M you decide it would be really fun for Calla to pick you guys and outfit and then you go to the converse store and pick you guys matching shoes! Calla gets your sizes and begins looking around the store while you go look around to see what other stores they have to get an idea of where to go after the shoes, suddenly calla texts saying he’s ready for you to come back and try on the outfit and see his…

You smile happy my heading back to H&M and he hands you your outfit, you head into a changing room as does calla and minutes later you each emerge and look into the mirror smiling at yourselfs and then at each other!l. Calla picked some simple light washed straight cut jeans, they were just long enough that you needed to cuff them but they still looked cute! The top was a retro looking cartoon shirt with the movie Oliver and company on it, and to finish it was an oversized gray jacket with a red heart on the back. Calla’s outfit was dark washed straight cut jeans, his too just long enough to need cuffed but still looked cute! His shirt was a retro looking cartoon shirt with the movie toy story on it and his jacket was an oversized red one with a gray heart on the back!

“Calla! These are great! I can’t believe the jackets! And the shirts?! How on earth did you find an Oliver and company shirt?!” He smiled brightly shrugging “I don’t know I just happened to see the toy story shirt and luckily just behind it was the Oliver and company one and for the jackets it’s some cheesy couples thing…” he blushed softly as he signed the last part and you smiled more grabbing his hand with one hand and his face with the other looking into his eyes “Well I don’t care that they’re cheesy I love them” you peck his lips quickly “this has gave me a great idea for the shoes! So come on let’s change and pay for these so we can go!” He snickers softly at your excitement “okay okay let’s go!”

Soon enough you’ve gotten changed back into your old clothes and you’re off to the converse store. Once there you quickly find a white pair for you and grab some light pink laces for yourself, after that you find some burnt orange ones for calla and grab some cream colored laces! After that you quickly stop by target and you find some sharpies and also grab some random snacks, finishing up at target you get ready to leave the mall but notice a little arcade. “CALLA CAN WE PLEASE PLAY AT THE ARCADE?!” You shout excitedly jumping a bit, his eyes widen a bit at your excitement as he knows you’re not one to be very vocal.. He nods, you let out a small cheer of excitement and each head in! You and Calla set your bags beside the change machine and quickly get some quarters and solar bills.. You start out playing a racing game just for fun and as expected calla destroys you,next you decide to play a claw machine you spot a *favorite animal* and know you have to get it to give to Calla for when you leave! Little did you know Calla was at another claw machine and saw a reindeer and just had to get it for you!

Tons more money spent later and you each excitedly meet back up each holding your stuffies behind your backs… You smile excitedly “Soo I won you something” he smiles as well “I won you something too!” He signs so quickly you barely make it out and it makes you giggle slightly “Okay so we close our eyes and then three two one we exchange stuffies?” He nods happily and you cheer softly “yay! Okay okay so ready? 3…2…1!” You quickly exchange plushies and then open your eyes you each gasp softly staring at the plushies before quickly dropping them and engulfing each other in a huge hug! You break apart moments later and quickly grab your plushies and your bags “I saw that and knew it would make you think of me so I got it for you…” He sighs softly his hands too full for sign so he whispers “I- I did the same…” You sigh softly as you guys make your way to the car, after getting all the bags put away you both sigh in tiredness the big trip finally catching up to both of you “So where do you wanna eat?” He shrugs softly signing “it’s up to you I don’t care” You nod softly “Well then how about cicis? They have the best Mac and cheese pizza!” He nods “Yea I haven’t been there in years sounds good” you cheer softly as you turn on a random YouTube mix

Soon enough you’ve made it to cicis, dinner goes smoothly casual conversation between the two of you it feeling just like a normal discord call but somehow better I guess it’s better because on call you can’t see his facial reactions and you can’t hear any of his little squeaks or snickers of laughter but in person you see and hear everything and it just it feels so special to be the one he’s sharing this all with to be the one allowed to experience this really feels like a true gift.. Because while you’ll never fully understand Calla in a way you still understand how much trust it can take to meet with someone because you struggle with social anxiety a lot but you couldn’t imagine how hard this must’ve been the first few days and might still be for him… After cicis you head back to his place and quickly unload everything from the car, once inside you say “Hey calla?” He looks to you and hums softly before speaking “Yea y/n?” You smile softly “Can we take a faceless picture in our matching outfits? The first one can be like this!”

You hold your phone excitedly towards him and he nods softly smiling “That’s actually pretty cute!” You nod “And then we can take ones that show off the front of outfits and then the back and for the front ones we can either just put stickers over our faces or just over yours and of course when we take the back facing one we don’t have to use stickers unless you want to” He nods “Yea sure that sounds fine so where do you wanna do them? Obviously the first one in the bathroom but what about the second and third one? Maybe in front of the fish so they might be in the background?” You smile “yea yea that sounds great let’s go take these and then if you wanna we can call everyone tell them the plan since I do leave in like two days”

I nod in agreement and grab y/n’s hand smiling as we head to the bathroom, we do a few different tales being sure my face is fully covered before agreeing on one.. Afterwards we head back to the living room and stand by Phineas and Isabella, y/n sets up a timer and quickly rejoins me us smiling widely with my arm around their waist! She set it up to take a few shots so we quickly do a few different poses their arm around my waist, me kissing the side of their head, them on their tip toes to kiss my cheek… After that they reset it and we turn backwards and do random poses for this one as well and then we do one quick one closer to the camera just to show off our shoes! We quickly go through them all and decide on what ones to post, we settle on the second take of the first pose and we settle on me kissing the side of their head and them kissing my cheek for the second one and for the backwards one we settle on the one of us holding hands and lastly we go with the least blurry one out of the ones we took of the back of our shoes…

Taking the pictures doesn’t take too long seeing as we’re mainly taking them for the memories and the fans not the quality of the pictures themselves… You decide to release them slowly and without tagging Callahan to see if anyone can guess who it is… The first one you post is the backwards hand holding one, after posting it we quickly go hop on discord calling everyone to let them know the plans! Niki is sleeping so you decide you’ll call her first thing tomorrow as you know she’ll be absolutely estatic to hear the news! You still decide to wait a little bit to tell anyone about your relationship wanting to keep at least these last few days to yourselves… After call you both had decided next call for when you them know you guys made it to your place is when you’ll tell them about your relationship… So all of that settled Calla quickly makes some calls and gets his parents to watch Phineas and Isabella for you guys and with that you guys get all packed apart from leaving out the essentials and a few outfits for the last two days…

I’ve had this idea in my brain... for SO LONG. Unfortunately though, I can’t draw well enough to turn this into an animatic... I’ve also never made an animatic, so... BUT I SURE CAN PUT THIS INTO WORDS. So, this is gonna be C!Karl-centric and heavily inspired by my own headcanons that before joining the SMP, Karl used to live with the Beast Crew (that being Jimmy, Chris, Chandler, and himself). I’ll make a post later with all my ideas, but specifically it comes down to the idea that the four of them grew up together in a small village on a peaceful server, but Jimmy eventually got the idea for a bunch of fun events (kinda like the Mr Beast Videos). As the events grew bigger and bigger, the Beast Crew started traveling around to other servers a lot to put on more events. One would end up being the Technoblade vs. Dream battle, which is where Karl meets the Dream Team for the first time and eventually how he gets invited by Sapnap to come live on the server if he wants. This is all takes places before Karl finds out about being a Time Traveler, but this whole thing is the after with Karl’s memories all blurring together! Be aware, there’s LOTS of C!Karlnap in this with a lot of your usual C!Karlnapity Lore with all the normal sadness:) So if you find this interesting at all, please continue to read!! (Note: this isn’t really a songfic. it’s more like I’m giving you all the lyrics and describing the scenes I keep seeing in my head that way you can imagine it along with me. A bit more messy and chaotic, but still fun!!)

It soon cuts to Karl’s upside down face pouting. When it pans out, it shows him hanging upside down off a couch cushion in his cozy home in Kinoko.]   And I'll be there for you, baby [Insert Karl Fingerguns]   But I've got to have some room— [Now insert blushing, semi-smiling Sapnap, then it cutting to them in the future with Karl holding a journal and turned away from Sap as if sneaking away while Sapnap’s turned away from him. Sap’s likely on fire, possibly with his glare aimed towards a shadow of Dream in the distance, or the destroyed Community House.]   And you gotta keep your eyes on the new guys in the room. [Close up on Karl’s eyes darting around nervously]   And the way they dance is crazy,   I have never seen this shit. [Faraway shot of Karl in a room while everyone’s dancing, Chris is one of them and going too fucking hard in the center of it all]   And the strobe light's way too hot,   So let's get this over with. [close up cut, close up cut, close up cut until reaching Karl’s face and a sweat drop rolling down]   She says, "Your lips tasted like they did way back in July" [Sapnap coming to hold his hand. Karl smiles, but there’s a flash of the past with Karl seeing James]   Headaches and overdose,   I hope that we never die… [Karl, overcome by thoughts, pulls away from Sapnap and walks away]

  October's always here, [cut to Karl sitting on the swing in the Inbetween]   November's never leaves, [cut to same scene in the Other Side]   December disappears, [same scene, but Karl’s sitting under a tree in the Overworld, clearly in Kinoko Kingdom.] [He suddenly gets pulled up by the hand.]   She says to me, "Well, I dance really fast, so you've gotta dance real fast, [The scene shifts. Chris is the one holding his hand, grinning brightly back at him and speaking the lyrics. The scene has faded into a past memory way before Karl joined the SMP. The view blurs while Chris tugs him over to what appears to be the dance floor dance with him. Jimmy and Chandler can be seen in the background. It’s a party of sorts in some past city or kingdom they lived in. It’s outside. Chandler is back by the food table, stuffing his face while Jimmy calmly drinks from a cup while talking to someone.]   “And my friends are all passed out in the back of my friend's van," [The scene spins along with a laughing Karl, who’s being twirled around by Chris, into the after where they’re all passed out on top of each other in some barn. Karl’s passed out in a pile of hay on the floor with Chris, who’s fallen asleep sitting up beside him.  Karl’s all sprawled out with his hair a mess and his legs are laying over Chris’s own. Jimmy’s sleeping face up on the haystacks with Chandler flopped face first horizontally above his head on his own two stacks. Chandler’s arm is definitely hanging over the haystack. Chris is sitting closest to Jimmy with his arms crossed, almost like a sleeping guard dog.   And she's got this sexy hair braid that goes over her forehead [Cut to a close up of Sapnap’s forehead and bandana]  Lindsey, let me kiss your forehead... [It pulls back to show Karl standing with a smirking Sapnap. It’s unclear of the time, but this is possibly a flash of the future, potentially hinting this Karl is from the future and time travelled back to the past. Or, it hints that this is right after him and Sap met during the event they held where Dream faced off with Techno and Sap and George would have come as guests to watch. Karl developed a crush on him almost instantly.  Karl’s reaching to brush Sapnap’s hair aside. Their eyes are locked and Sapnap’s smirk is growing, waiting for Karl to finally lean in.  The scene abruptly cuts back to Karl’s eyes snapping open with his cheeks burning red. Then, it shows his POV of a laughing Chris and Jimmy over ahead. Karl looks over, only to see Chandler curled up his side and making kissy lips at him, causing Karl to shriek and jump away.  The scene ends with them all laughing at Karl’s expense while Karl screams at them.]   And I know that you think that I don't care   About all the friends I left behind,   The ones who stay up late at night   Screaming out their shattered minds. [Karl smiling fondly up at his friends, laughing and goofing off above him. Chandler is laughing beside him, staring up at Jimmy, who’s chuckling as he shoves Chris, who’s smirking at some joke he’s made.  When Karl blinks, the scene changes and he’s pulled out of the memory]   I know that you think that I don't care   About all the friends that I left behind, [Suddenly, Karl jolts into a new setting.  He’s back in his house in Kinoko, sitting in a chair. As it pans out, it gives the vibe that he’s been sitting there spaced out for a while. Sapnap and George appear to be arguing, but Sapnap’s attention suddenly falls to him. You can see his lips form, “Karl?”  Karl blinks again, looking up now at a concerned Sapnap holding his face.]   The ones who stay up late at night   Screaming out their shattered minds— hey! [Karl smiles softly, putting his hand over Sapnap’s and alleviating some of those worries. Sapnap seems to relax some, offering his own tiny smile. He takes Karl’s hand, yanking Karl up, who only laughs in return.] [As the camera turns to show both of them, they’re shown laughing and grinning as Sapnap pulls Karl to his feet, it follows them as they fall back into a new frame. It’s their bedroom. Karl giggles as he falls on top of Sapnap.]   And she's on top of me, and it is hot, hot, hot!   She says, "Come on, sweetheart, take 'em off" [Sapnap is smirking up at him. He mouths along with the words.]   So I will take 'em off, and then we take 'em off, [Karl grins in return, cheeks pink as removes his sweater, tossing it aside.]   And then her dad walks in —   ...oh shit, her dad walks in. [Just as Karl’s about to lean down for a kiss, Bad bursts through the door, beaming brightly as he seemed to be announcing his visit.  Cut to a full view of the room. Karl and Sapnap are frozen in place, both visibly blushing as they stare wide-eyed at each other. They’ve been caught.  Bad freezes, dropping probably like a casserole or something he made for them before screaming at them.  As the second line plays, it cuts to a close up to Karl nervously sweating with an “I’m gonna die” smile while Bad’s definitely screaming from the side.]   She says to dance really fast, "'Cause I like to dance real fast, [Hard cut to a new scene. It’s Karl dancing with Sapnap. They’re at a party, likely in the past.  It’s obvious as Karl’s passed around, spinning from Sapnap’s arms to a smirking Quackity in his OG outfit, though when Quackity winks at him, his eye flashes to show a pale blue eye and a long scar. It disappears before Karl can even panic and Karl’s being spun forward.]   “And my friends are all passed out in the back of my friend's van" [He passes Dream and George. Dream has a drink in one hand and his other arm is around George’s waist. Dream’s mask is half-tilted to the side, showing him and George smirking back at a stunned, delighted Karl.]   And she's got this sexy hair braid that goes over her forehead.   Lindsey, let me kiss your forehead. [He spins back into Sapnap’s arms, who grins back at him. Karl instantly melts, all concerns forgotten as he reaches to cup Sapnap’s face.  Just as he leans it for a kiss, the scene pans upward into the night sky.]   And I know that you think that I don't care   About all the friends I left behind,   The ones who stay up late at night   Screaming out their shattered minds. [It drops back down, panning down to Karl, standing still and alone with a weapon in hand.  The view spins around to his POV, showing Sapnap, George, and Quackity all yelling at Dream in what appears to be El Rapids.]   I know that you think that I don't care   About the friends that I left behind,   The ones who stay up late at night   Screaming out their shattered minds... [The scene pans around again. This time, it’s him and Sapnap in front of a scarred Quackity.   Quackity has a poker chip in hand. Las Nevadas can be seen looming behind him. Sapnap has an arm around Karl’s waist. He looks furious to the point of almost combusting while Karl looks terrified and worried all at once.  Quackity flashes them a wicked grin, his scar stretching as he flips the chip in hand.]   “It's always a head game with you, Nick!   You've never had a shot at any of this!   So just smash your guitar!   Smash your dreams!   Grow up now is just what I mean!” [Quackity opens his mouth to yell at Sapnap in time with the lyrics. (lmao Sapnap “Nick” moment)  Quackity keeps yelling, causing Sapnap’s temper to flare further and further until he’s shoving Karl away to step forward. He’s surrounded by flames as he approaches Quackity. He steps out a frame, leaving behind a stumbling Karl, who falls down into a sitting position.  He curls up into a tight ball, trying to block out the arguing overhead as the surrounding world fades to darkness.] [Suddenly, the world cuts.] [When Karl looks up, he sees Chris above him. Chris is looking down at him with a disappointed, but also slightly pitying smile. He offers out a hand, which Karl takes, still slightly trembling as he stands.  The surrounding world brightens slowly, coming back to a familiar scene for Karl.  It’s Jimmy’s old living room from their time when they once all stayed together before Jimmy became well-known, Karl moved to the SMP, and long before Karl’s adventures with time began.  Chandler’s sprawled out on a couch in the background. Jimmy’s shown sitting on the far end of the couch with Chandler’s head on his thigh.  Chris and Karl don’t seem to acknowledge them. The one main crit i have for Karl is how now it does seem like he's in it for views/money and I say this because this man is starting at LEAST 10 different projects at once. I watch his alt streams and there's a few things i picked up on that make me determined in why i think that crit^, firstly he's always mentioning tftsmp as it is due to come back for a season 2 but in the midst of all that he's meeting up with people like 100thieves or Quackity, he's making new merch, he's doing mr beast recordings, he's organising streams with celebs like game creators/singers i.e galantis (which happened), he has a podcast now with sapnap and now he wants to do a nailpolish line? No offense, but it seems most of his projects are rushed because he has no TIME to put proper effort into them like he keeps pushing back tftsmp, his podcast with sapnap has no topics planned and it's a weekly thing and some might say there's no need for topics because they'll be talking with guest but how long will there podcast last at that rate? Like the whole set up of it already seems half-assed they named it 'BANTER' like come on. Also Karl streams at abnormal hours like for US time around 5am and its typically because he needs to get up the next day for mr beast stuff so where does he find the time to finish/upkeep these projects? The answer is, he doesn't, he has no time but he just blindly into starting new things when he knows he doesn't have the time to invest into it like he's always busy and even his friends have mentioned this countless times because he's barely on vc with them so why is he starting up things only for them to not reach their full potential? I wake up and it’s raining, chilly yet not too cold so I can have my morning cigarette on the balcony, music in the background, not caring about the weird looks I get because I’m still in my nightgown. I get inspiration and motivation to write, I write fast and without going back every few words because I don’t like how the sentence is coming along, the words just fall into place and they sound just right. I read something later, maybe waiting for a reply from @huffminyard, maybe it stops raining and I get to go out biking. It’s on simple days like these that I truly feel content.

Trump's weekend trips to his Florida estate are being documented through random people's Instagrams

President Donald Trump has spent more than a quarter of his early presidency at his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida.

And with Trump spending weekends both hosting world dignitaries or simply unwinding and playing golf at his resort, a critical source has emerged for news on Trump's whereabouts: Instagram.

On the "Mar-a-Lago" geotag on the social-media site, club members and attendees have posted photos providing public details of Trump's days that otherwise may have gone completely unnoticed outside of the high-society Floridians who saw them firsthand.

The photos — whether taken of prominent guests or Trump family members visiting what the president calls the "Southern White House," of the surroundings, or of Trump himself — show moments that even those in the protective press pool assigned to cover the president have, at times, not been privy to document themselves.

In total, Trump has spent 25 of the first 89 days of his presidency at his Florida club, where he's hosted guests like Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The weekend with Abe featured some of the more important Instagrams posted from the resort. They included Trump looking into the camera with his head on his hand as aides behind him stood as both US and Japanese officials were coordinating a response to a North Korean missile launch. A national-security crisis was taking place, and the response was being discussed in full view of the many club members and guests assembled in a dining area.

In an interview with the Irish Independent, Eric Trump, the president's son, said Mar-a-Lago "has been a very effective tool for [my father] to go down and get to know somebody while not sitting — no different to you wanting to sit next to me on this couch today — not sitting across a wooden partition, which instantly makes a relationship more strenuous."

He compared the resort to President George W. Bush's Crawford, Texas, ranch.

"Bush brought foreign leaders from all over the world [there]," he said. "He would go down to the ranch and they would drive a truck around and they would have fun and they would eat and that was his way of bonding."

An Instagram spokesperson told Business Insider it could not provide data on whether use of the Mar-a-Lago geotag had increased since Trump was inaugurated on January 20.
