The Foxholes presentan "HEX".............. "HEX" se lanza apenas un año despues de publicar "Foxholesque". The Foxholes comenzaron en 2006 en Barcelona. Siendo una formación de rock estándar, habían experimentado con toneladas de estilos musicales: desde rock a electro, desde new wave hasta rock progresivo. Liderados por Jonah A. Luke, el proyecto ha trabajado con músicos como Maese 1001 (X-Fasic), Francis Matas (Rainbubble, The New Raemon, S.ym), Anna Pons (Green Dragonfly), y la lista continúa. En abril de 2009 The Foxholes lanzaron su primer álbum, y desde entonces el proyecto ha lanzado otros nueve, todos grabados en Wheel Sound Studio por Txosse Ruiz (No Way Out, Zimt, Mount Analogue). En 2021, lanzan "Hex", un álbum conceptual instrumental sobre brujería y hechicería. La formación oficial desde 2017 es: Jonah A. Luke a la guitarra y voz, Ángel Millán a la batería y Max "Mojo" Moritz al bajo. Haciendo cuentas rápidas, con un trabajo cada dos años, demuestran la inquietud y ganas de progresar en el proyecto. El artwork corre a cargo de Michael C. Hsiung, que ha colaborado con marcas como Vans, Burton Snowboards o Dr. Martens. Blogging again...
What 2020 has shown that some people have an ability to be brave, overcome challenging times and situations, adjust to new circumstances, and become less afraid of the unknown.
In this unusual year we were some kind of forced to be passive and looked for guidance from those in leadership positions, but often we were also asked to decide what we want to do or how we will change our approach, our environment, our habits.
Being in a doble role (musician and consultant) I was affected double by lockdown and travel bans. No customer visits, no concerts. But even more, living in a foreign country, I was not allowed by circumstances to visit family and friends.......
On the one hand, this might lead to frustration and corresponding reactions... We have seen this all over the world.... On the other hand this also might lead to creativity and search for alternative ways of work and living. And this has also been shown by many people...
So, as a consultant I switched for the time being to remote work by using video conferencing and yes, the telephone and traditional mail as well. Until now, this works out well (could always be better).
As a musician, I focussed on recording and producing and improving my instrument skills. This lead to a high number of releases during 2020 with Elena Ley (a single in four languages released for Valentines day: “I love You more”, as all releases to be found on all digital platforms), a live recording “KONZERT” with the Foxholes, released in April, “Americana Stories” (an acoustic album by Elena Ley and Miguel Talavera) released in September, “Foxholesque”, a studio album released by the Foxholes in September as well and “Find the Way”, a double A-sided single with the Ley-Talavera Band in November.
And last, but not least, videoconferencing also helps contacing friends and family... so visual contact is possible.
Remains the hope that reasonal behaviour and vaccine may lead back to normal... What is normal? I personally believe that we will have to learn to adopt to different situations and ways to deal with them in the future... the only constant in life is change.. let’s discuss...

*sighs dreamily* it just finished raining, the roads are dark and glossy and there’s thunder in the distance. my window is cracked and I’m meditating, i just finished doing a large tarot spread and added a few quotes to my BOW. my fam is gone so I’ve no distractions, and I’m prepped for a big lunar ritual for the coming night

i mean i can hardly blame them, witchcraft is a hella aesthetic. as long as they aren’t spreading misinformation, or like @witchyboyky said, aren’t being disrespectful, then i don’t have a problem

to friends, yes. to family, no, absolutely not (remember what i said abt southern roots? *cough cough*)
♥ How do you feel about karma?
i don’t believe in the idea that a lot of neo pagans seem to have about things coming back threefold, but i do believe things can come come back to haunt you (for better or for worse) in a next life, which i believe may be what karma originally means??? idk though don’t quote me
