I'm a big big fan of whumpee x caretaker so I'll go with partner, just because it's what I write the most.

That said.. Caretaker and whumpee being forced to look past their rivalry and work together... a reluctant caretaker slowly becoming protective of whumpee who they used to barely tolerate... whumpee having to bite their tongue and hold back the snark because they're completely in caretaker's hands... yeah, I get it

“The sky.” When you glanced at the window blue was already bleeding through the slats of your blinds, washing the room in the color of dawn. A calming shade that blanketed you in the same way moments between slumber and the blaring of an alarm did, creating a twilight period where time stood still and the world seemed just a little softer, kinder and more inviting.

“It is.” Billy watched for several long minutes as the dawn shifted from a flat soft and serene color to bands of gold and orange, splashed with red and dotted sparsely with clouds that lazed across the sky basking in the horizon they were helping to shape. You studied him while he stared at the shifting day, the way his shoulders dropped and his jaw relaxed, exhaustion taking over whatever emotion had been painting his features before.

Hello, I’m good! How are you? I’m sorry this was so delayed, I know a lot of weird facts and wasn’t sure which one to pick akdjakdhsk I’m not sure how weird this one even is but I do love it-

So. It’s possible to rotate a shark and have it just. Sit there. It’s called tonic immobility, it’s a reflex that makes an animal just. Stay like that. I’ve also seen it compared to hypnosis. I think this can be done to other animals but I like sharks a lot. I’ve seen it said this could be a defense strategy or related to mating but researchers also use it to subdue sharks. Thank you for the ask! From this ask game.

I'm gonna assume this means season in my writing 😂

Have to go with fall. It just can do everything! I can abandon my char in the wild, and there is a chance they'll survive off wild fruits and nuts. I can decide it gets cold enough in the night for them to freeze, but also hot enough in the sun. I can make them worry about the approaching winter. I can soak them to the bone and have them warm up at a fire.

I don't like summer much. Not a fan of the heat, not even in writing.

(Now bonus answer, I think I personally prefer writing in fall as well, because it's not so cold I freeze into a popsicle on my desk, but also not so hot I melt into the keyboard, there's less "you should be doing that outside instead", and I usually take a week in October off anyway.)

I don't recall dean being allergic to cats but also there's a million episodes so I definitely could have missed it. they let sam and dean hold so many dogs when are we gonna give sam a kitten :(

Lucian adores animals. He has a cat in his apartment but he would like another cat and maybe a hamster. Theodore doesnt mind animals but they wouldn't go out of their way to get a pet.

hmmmm man this is a hard one. i'd really love to visit just about everywhere at least once, i feel like i've missed out on so much culture by being american and just visiting "the big ones" like england and italy is hardly enough for me to understand anything substantial about how the world works 😔

but based on what i've heard from my family's own experiences and my personal interest in each place due to hearsay i'd reckon the list right now is:

The Netherlands (specifically Holland)

England

Japan

Rome

Germany

but if you mean places specifically i have only one wish: to visit cat island in japan so that i may ascend to a higher plane of existence

6. Zander LOVED school, while he often had trouble sitting still through class, he loved to learn and he loved just being around people. He really loved math and science classes, he didn’t especially dislike any subjects. He graduated high school, and he planned to go to college. Unfortunately he did not get that chance.

7. He did have lots of friends! He was a very friendly and social child, he’d make friends with anybody he met so growing up he had a wide array of friends, even if he wasn’t really friends with somebody he likely knew them and was friendly with them just because he loved to talk so much lmao. After going missing for several years he kind of loses. A lot of them. Most of them. But he still has his closest childhood friend, he basically grew up with Alondra and she was always waiting for him to come home. They’re still close friends and get along as if he’d never disappeared at all.

8. Zander didn’t grow up with any pets, for some reason I imagine his dad was allergic and he was constantly begging for animals and it just wasn’t gonna happen. He does like animals, especially cats, however now as an adult he is absolutely terrified of dogs, particularly large ones, and he avoids them at all costs. He’s working on getting used to the ones he can’t avoid, he doesn’t want to be afraid of them he just. Can’t help it.

9. Animals do like him! Almost unfortunately given his fear of dogs, they’ll run right up to him with no issues, cats will come and lay on him and just curl up and fall asleep. It’s very sweet. He loves them. He also likes animals that people might think of as “scary”, he doesn’t mind insects or reptiles. He thinks they’re all great.

Somehow I’ve missed anything about the nassir's fic.

Nassir, my beloved! Listen, I'm in love with this boy and it was inevitable for this boy's story to become a full fic! So! Let's talk about Nassir!

Nassir is my OC(ish) of the briefly mentioned Samara from Chicago PD, who Will mentioned her when he was talking about Sudan, and I decided that I was going to trans that character :) so Samara became Nassir, transitioning to be who he is openly.

Nassir moves to Chicago after transitioning, because he's been fascinated with America and Chicago ever since he met Will during his residency. However, he thought Will was returning to New York, so when he gets a job at Chicago Med, he was not expecting to see Will, who doesn't even recognize him.

But then.... Will spends time with him, purposefully and accidentally, and one day, Will's talking to him as if they're intimate again, low and gentle, and Nassir knows that Will's figured it out, and it means, maybe, they can try again....
