was reading about the zone of interest (2023) dir. jonathan glazer, which i am very interested in watching and it seems, if reviews are anything to go by, is a chilling and masterful piece of filmmaking,

that said, given the current situation, the parallels between its premise and the plight of palestinians immediatly jumps to mind. i think it will add to the film's depth rather than detract from it. i'm glad someone has written about it, though interesting that tumblr isn't letting me embed any links from mondoweiss
