THE PROMPTS FOR TSME WEEK ARE OUT!
We are now some 2.5 months away from the 10th anniversary for the airing of the Strongest Mega Evolution Act I. I am excited!
Prompts for the week:
Day 1 - April 3rd: Anniversary / Pokémon Catching
Day 2 - April 4th: First Time / Miare (Lumiose City) / Dragon
Day 3 - April 5th: Mission / Family / Break
Day 4 - April 6th: Hoenn / Mask / Release
Day 5 - April 7th: Trip / Dark / AU
Day 6 - April 8th: Love / Memorabilia / Legend
Day 7 - April 9th: FREE DAY
1) How to participate?
Pick the prompt that you like best for each day of the week, create a fanwork for it and post it on tumblr, tagging #tsmeweek2024 or #tsme10thanniversary! You can also pick several prompts for one day to combine, or mix prompts from different days, as you wish. You can switch days up as well! Go wild!
All forms of fanworks are accepted! Fanarts, crafts, fanfic of any lengths, cosplays... Pick the medium you prefer!
Prompts can be interpreted however you want. If you pick "Miare" and want to depict an alternate ending for the Flare Crisis where everyone dies, go for it! Creativity is welcomed! Does "Break" mean "mental breakdown", "take a coffee break" or "break.....fast"? Up to you!
Don't worry about having to participate every day of the week. Just do what you can!
Once you publish a fanwork, don't forget to tag #tsmeweek2024 or #tsme10thanniversary! Those are the tags that will be scoured to be reblogged on this blog.
2) Does PokéAni XY&Z count? What counts as TSME?
The rules are lax. The XY&Z season of PokéAni definitely counts, as TSME characters played a very important role in it. So does the World Championships in Journeys, since Alan appeared in it. As a basic principle, so long as it involves a character that appeared in Act I-IV of TSME, it counts as TSME.
So yes, you can absolutely create a fanwork about Daigo/Steven exploring Hoenn with Shouta/Sawyer, or Pachira/Malva dating Carnet/Diantha if your heart desires. You can also create fanworks with TSME characters and characters they never interacted with in canon!
3) Other rules
This blog will have ship art and will accept any ship. Do not harrass people over ships.
Racy pieces or pieces with content warnings will be accepted on the blog and tagged with a "n/sfw" tag and "cw" tag. For viewers who do not want to risk seeing any such pieces, you can block these 2 tags.
As an artist with a n/sfw or cw piece, please help making the blog friendly for all, by putting the full art under a preview and read-for-more. Please tag the full cw as well!
4) Like The Mega Evolution Specials, but don't know what to make?
Then, reblog, reblog, reblog!! Reblog the posts you see and like as a form of celebration! Share the love and keep it circulating so that it reaches more people!

TSME WEEK 2024 Day 2 prompt: "Dragon" (Dragon Type!)
This is very much a "what if" scenario, but i often think it'd be fun for Iris to finally go against a Charizard that is a Dragon Type. I also feel that Alan can learn things from Iris, in the specific way she communicates with her mons. She doesn't use Mega Evolution but isn't her understanding of Dragon Types another kind of strong bond?

The Strongest Mega Evolution - Act II: Blackthorn

And from the clouds comes a green blur, streaked with a crimson red and a golden light. A parting of the clouds, the heavens, for a titan hellbent on something that Alain doesn’t really want to even consider. He can’t. He simply can’t.
And it’s like from there, everything just falls apart.
Because Rayquaza roars, a serpent-like figure of only legend and fairytale - a monster, Alain thinks, a fucking monster.
In his quest for power, Alain Viard catches the eye of Hoenn’s Champion, climbs an ancient pillar until he almost touches the sky, and finds himself facing down an emerald draconian of ancient legend, who happens to be hell-bent on destroying them all.
[Alain travels to the Hoenn Region. And in her journey to find answers, Mairin finds herself caught in the crossfire.]

HAPPY HOLIDAYS, TSME & XY&Z FANS
On 3 April 2014: Act I of the Strongest Mega Evolution (TSME), also known as the Mega Evolution Specials, aired in Japan and introduced us to the adventures of Alan, Manon/Mairin, Lizardon/Charizard and Hari-san/Chespie, beloved characters who defined the final arc of the Pokémon XY&Z anime.
3 April 2024 will mark the 10th anniversary of Act I!
10 years is a special number. In celebration, join in from 3 APRIL to 9 APRIL 2024 for a week dedicated to loving TSME, where art and writing in any form is welcome!
The prompts will be released in January, leaving 2 months and a half for everyone to prepare something. The guidelines on how to participate will also be included.

Part of me wants to try to watch the anime again if nothing else just to get my Diantha crumbs, but at the same time. I just kNOW I’m gonna get mad.
Saw my friend say she’s up against Lance and like. If she fucking loses to LANCE when her ace is a fucking fAIRY TYPE………

BEHOLD!! THE AU I'VE BEEN COOKING UP FOR MONTHS!!
DIGIMOM CODENAME: DREAMLAND!
Basic Story Info: Susie is the daughter of Max Haltmann, the CEO and founder of his own computer company. (kinda like the original Susie lol)
But on her 18th birthday, a bunch of Digimon came through a portal and kidnapped her father and half the employees of the company. And it's up to Susie to save her father from whatever evil Digimon is behind all of this.
Accompanying her as her digital partners are the first two friendly Digimon she met in the Digital World. Marxamon and Magomon. Two sneaky little scam artists that Susie saved from an angry mob.
Once they heard her story, they both (eventually) agreed to help Susie find her father and protect her from the dangers of the Digital World, with Susie mysteriously gaining a Digivice in the form of a wrist watch as a symbol of their friendship.
Together, the three of them traveled all across the Digital World, fighting battles, solving mysteries, exploring new areas, you get the idea.

Info on Susie: A young girl from the city of [insert place in Japan that isn't effing Tokyo]. She's a headstrong go-getter and intelligent gal, who's a major tech wizard, finding comfort in machinery and modeling. She has a weakness to cute fluffy things and sweet treats. She's a huge "papa's girl", as her loving father is the best dad (and only parent) a girl could ask for. Which makes finding him even more important to her.

Info on Marxamon: A silly little jester bat digimon that shares DNA with the Demon Lord of Gluttony, Beelzemon, and a childhood friend of Magomon. With a "gives no shits" attitude and a craving for mischief, Marxamon is always up for a good prank or two. His special move "Spiraling Scream" has been known to leave even the strongest of champions feeling dizzy and temporarily deaf.
His Champion evolution, Jecksmon, is no different. Growing bigger wings, longer legs, and an even bigger taste for mischief than before! Having the ability to create mirrored copies of himself with his special move "Mirror Dance", and shoots blasts of chaotic energy from his mouth with his other move "Soul Cannon", he truly becomes chaos reincarnated!

Info on Magomon: A little bell-shape feline magician that shares DNA with the Demon Lord of Greed, Barbamon, and a childhood friend of Marxamon. Although somewhat timid, his cunning and clever nature shows no bounds, treating almost anything like a performance he must perfect. Shrouding his secrets in veils of lies that he swears to never unravel, as it might bring unwanted attention, (aka: this bitch's got MEGA TRAUMA and is keeping it all a secret). His special move "Gemtastic Bombs" has him throwing multiple bombs made of different types of gems, usually Sapphire, Ruby, and Emerald.
His Champion evolution, Galormon, gives him a huge confidence boost and some card tricks up his (metaphorical) sleeves! With the ability to spin around, creating a tornado of cards and fire with his special move "All-In-Spin" and sucking in enemies into his hat with his other special move "Hatter Hole", his performance on the battlefield makes this fancy Digimon a sight to behold!
