Kazuichi: lots of praise and conditional affection (now that you're addicted to being my favourite little puppy, sure would be sad if you did something to make me and my friends mad and not like you anymore. Because I could make sure no one ever wants to be around you again :( build me a death machine pretty please?)

Sonia: aren't you tired of being nice? Dont you want to go apeshit? (aren't you tired of doing only what other people expect of you? You're barely your own person. Go on, try being a little bad for once! A little bad escalates into being immensely selfish, and eventually it's too late to go back)

Akane: a little harder, but she's very gullible and easy to trick into doing things, and has a LOT of trauma to tap into (maybe something along the lines of, "the world is a shitty place and no one ever helped you when you needed it, right? Only way to be safe from that is to be not only strong, but scary. Show them they can't mess with you! KILL")

#What he's wearing are just round glasses which is cute and all but also proper lab safety goggles have special rims that would also protect #your eyes from different sides #Cause things could splash from the side too not just in front of you #Covering your hands: good. Not covering your wrist: not good. Especially since your wrist has some pretty important vessels #I've seen some nasty burns that you really don't wanna get on your wrist cause again. Vessels are there and you'd rather burn your hand #Than your wrist.#USUALLY you'd tie your hair up if it's long so it doesn't accidentally burn or get caught in anything #But i feel like his hair is in this weird stage where it's like...kinda short so it's not TOO bad but also still long?#Would still tie it up tho #I am not explaining the chemicals or the lab coat i think that's pretty self explanatory. C'mon murr these are basics.#Metal is awful in almost all labs #you'll get burns if something goes wrong with electricity #Also can heat up if it absorbs radiation. More burns #Not to mention it's magnetic and a disaster if it gets caught in. Say. MRI machines #Depending on the metal it may also have certain reaction with other chemicals and. You guessed it. Another thing I love love about Bloodhounds is the effortless look of the boxing duo. They're just neck-deep in their little boxing world, training hard, feeling comfortable in their own skin, finding ways to end the bad guys, and looking drop dead gorgeous while they're at it. It's the we're-so-freakishly-handsome-and-completely-unaware impression that gets me every time

#A nice episode :) I have a lot of headache tho and forgot everything I wanted to say #The ss/kk is nice :) It's nice every time Akutagawa spontaneously saves Atsushi seemingly with no reason to #The animation was very nice! It's evident a lot of money and effort went into this season and these last episodes in particular #And I like the art style a lot better than the one in the other seasons. Even season 4 where the animation is comparatively as good #What more. The Kyouka screentime is nice. The whole Guild aftermath celebrations section is very nice and heartwarming to watch #I still take a lot of issues with the entire way Kyouka's entrance exam was conceived but I think they're fairly self-explanatory.#Also fundamentally coherent with b/sd's general worldviews so #But even then there's a line that bothers me to an unexplainable amount from the first time I watched it to now.#The “it hurts” when she's hugging Atsushi. And I've reflected over that line so long from the moment I first heard it...#I think. Its meaning is to symbolize how being in the light sometimes will still result to be too overwhelming for Kyouka–#to the point at times it will still end up hurting her. But that doesn't make it any less worth it #So to say‚ there's no such thing as perfect happy endings. But she is going to be okay nonetheless #BUT IT STILL BUGS ME. I feel like it's part of a school of thought for whom we should just accept the fact that there's evil in the world–#that we can't eradicate. And nothing can be done about it. Which I don't think is a functional or useful way of thinking?#ALSO I know it's. Most definitely‚ 99% not how the scene is supposed to be interpreted #BUT ATSUSHI IS THE ONE HUGGING AND THUS HURTING HER and you know how there is this very slight narrative that seemingly–#frames Kyouka and Atsushi as romantic partners and like... Idk.#In that context the line almost feels expression of a narrative of wives having to bear pain that is natural and unavoidable.#I know this definitely wasn't the intended meaning it's just a bad impression for some reason I can't be able to shrug off even after years #But don't listen to me #I don't think there's anything else to add. Overall a very good episode.#Take a shot every time someone says “all according to Dazai's plan”#random rambles

'because of who you are' scene #so i think that's pretty self explanatory lol #there might be other instances but i don't remember #in retrospect the writers may have actually intended this one #its pretty straightforward. but i think its neat

#Opm #One punch man #The most intriguing part abt opm is that you can't help but try not to think about it too seriously #Bc if you take it from literally from any other angle it goes into extremely horrific really fast #Yes Genos is a parody and deconstruction of cool shonen characters!#But he's also a teenager turned into a weapon who is so gripped w survivor's guilt he narrowed down his entire existence on revenge #Tatsumaki looks so silly and she's so arrogant!#She's so traumatized! I don't even know where to begin! Also she has a messed up pov of relationships and herself!#Garou is self explanatory!#Haha Saitama is such a relatable silly goofball!#Anyways the entire earth is in his mercy on whether or not he can keep himself in check!#Oh wow opm's world is like how in typical shonen when the mosnter of the week shows up!#Oh god there's a new monster showing up every week and not only they're gwtting stronger. They're getting FREQUENT.#I've heard an advice from someone that most horror is comedic from another angle bc of its absurdity #And in a sense that is true #But reading opm made me realize that the reverse is also very very true

the thing about the queer media tournament that really gets me is that last i checked there wasn't a single mxtx work on it. like not even the untamed made it in and don't get me wrong the og mo dao zu shi books are huge but cql is def more popular among tumblr circles. idk it just really rubs me the wrong way how every single piece of western media that ppl have ever gotten a lil bit aggressive abt shipping with is there and then for east asian media there's utena and madoka magica and the handmaiden and last i checked that was pretty much it. and then for the rest of the world there's next to/nothing but idk enough to really make judgements there.
