Still struggling with artblock, so here is another sketch of Meira from @night-market-if (this time, in different style and with more accuracy). Teal green was probably Hazel influence, somehow, or, her shop; brown, red and gold colors - MC’s subconscious fashion choice. Eyes were canonically mint green, btw, up until Bella says something about “lanterns reflecting”, so it’s purple-goold now. I like to think of MC having freckles all over their bodies that if you trace them, you will actually obtain a crude map of the whole Night Market. If a district falls/disappears, the freckles will actually reorient themselves into a new map.

The lights up above swayed amber and gold. They hung heavy, strung together on thick wire cords that stretched across the long expanse of canvas covered stalls. Plumes of steam drifted upwards, curling around the paper of each heavy light before dissipating into the endless night up above.

Normally, I don't post on tumblr for various reasons. And I'm not much of an artist. But some time ago I read ch12 of @night-market-if and feel inspired.

It's not a perfect representation of my MC nor actual scene from the book - more of general vibe (and a bit of headcanon, guess)? I absolutely adore aesthetic of the NM, characters and a worldbuilding. This is Meira, btw. They are ended up as milomancer (I almost feel sorry for Milo lol), or Mal/Milo/Meira (we'll see). This will be a long way to go. And, oh, so roky one.
