Ok I gotta disagree with whoever submitted Jonathan Sims cause like there's a difference between characters treating him like shit and being massacred by canon. Like the whole story is a horror tragedy and part of that horror tragedy is how Jon looses everything through actions he had little control over. He was groomed into being the bringer of the apocalypse and then figure out where to go from there. He was abandoned by all his friends in season 4 because season 4 is also about the terror of being utterly alone and having no one. Characters being hypocritical when they judge his actions is like about people having an easier time placing blame on someone else and labeling monsters as other people. You're supposed to feel bad for how he’s treated. You're supposed to think that he's having a bad time of it. It's a cosmic horror tragedy, he's not going to have a good time. Like you can think he deserved better (which he did. He didn't deserve to have what happened to him happen. But that's the POINT). Anyways his treatment is fully consistent with the genre and themes of the story.
