nooo cause if That Jo Scene is the flashback scene with hoshino's death that really had to be SUUUCH a low point if not top five lowest points for him i wanted to throw up watching that <- replays it in my brain constantly

Hey old school monhun players, remember the claw grip we used to have to do just to play the game effectively? Remember underwater hunts?

The newer generation of hunters have it so easy

#its funny how back then i was a switch axe player and was so terrible i was basically just a hindrance to my team #then they added the insect glaive and a control scheme that works and now im great #its incredible i stuck to the series long enough for it to become playable and that it paid off #really though adding the insect glaive was what turned things around for me. it just works so well for how i play games #especially with heal dust. i can just throw caution to the wind and go berserker mode with a heal dust kinsect

#like again i know. i paid 70€ for this game i can play it however the fuck i want #but i still feel kind of. embarrassed?? esp bc im at my parents for christmas and new years and they know ive played this character twice #and like surely i should want to do something different after like 250 hours and yet... 😭😭😭😭😭#and ive realised that i never found the blood of lathander and my character def would want to get it even if it destroyed an ancient temple #and ive seen even more dialogue that i missed bc somehow i couldve long rested more frequently even tho i made a conscious effort to do tha #the second time around (bc i started playing multiplayer with my parents and already we got long rest stuff i never saw 💀)#also dialogue choices that fit him more but i was still too scared to pick bc i was afraid id get insta killed #or a companion would get so pissed off theyd leave..........#you could be like oh so you know what happens why would you play it but like why does anyone play sims or something #like sometimes you wanna see your little guys in scenarios 😭#(OH also i wanted to see if i could give astari0n worms in the beginning since he wanted them so bad #and it was literally one of the things he and my character bonded over as in they were the only bitches who thought they should use them #i just never thought to give any to him even tho he asked bc i always forget i can do stuff with the companions #AND im always afraid ill fuck something up for them gfkfjdhfkgkf)#anyway the point is wow still i have an unreasonable attatchment to this character of mine and i love him sm #and somehow i dont get bored of playing the same character after two full campaigns

I love the fact that I can work as hard as I can manage with a broken tooth and a dying tooth (one on each side, I've been chewing on the cavity for a year) and I still cannot save even $10 towards getting dental treatment (2 impacted wisdom teeth, + tooth broken off under the gum, + bad cavity) because I barely make enough to cover my food and board and the insane energy bill

#I'm just ranting don't mind me it's fine I am continuing to exist as usual I may delete this later bc it's a bit of a bummer to read #I prefer to keep my blogging to fun or otherwise nonserious content because it's supposed to be for decompression no real world drama here #I got into a 3 hour body language study and earned $50 so I spent that as fun money on a couple games during the Steam sale just to #take a break from the constant cycle of getting paid and then immediately saying goodbye to all but about 15 cents #(well it was 1 game Slime Rancher 2 and then 2 expansion packs one for Planet Zoo and another for Cities Skylines long play hours mileage)#I've tried to budget to buy small things like a fan or a toothbrush maybe (mine is 8yrs old and doesn't charge sometimes) but NOPE #let alone stashing away over $2000 for the amount of treatment I need given tooth extractions are $200-$500 each #I use about $50 of groceries a week ($30 USD) sometimes up to $80 if I need to buy some extra toiletries or bonuses like ham/falafel/bread #our last quarterly power bill was $1900 FOR NO REASON even for a winter one #olessan oration #the work I have is HIT/mturk type work which pays amazingly well and I am so grateful because I can't work in a traditional environment due #my inability to sleep/wake on anyone else's schedule and need for engaging work but it also means each worker is basically a contract worke #picking their own hours which is VERY HARD to stick to for me since I may also have ADHD-i but that diagnosis also costs like $2000 in Aus #so I'm doing my best fucking lmao #I have a set minimum hours I want to keep up to and move to full time but I am so exhausted by the constant background noise of #the tooth problems that I burn out very quickly #like the tooth ache isn't that bad #the tooth is actively dying but the pain isn't unbearable it just shits me off at all times #it's bearable most of the time and doesn't affect my sleep unless the temp is cold or something #it's been bad this week tho so I've gone through almost all my ibuprofen managing it #the tooth that broke off broke off earlier in the year and the gum has mostly healed over and the dead root is concealed inside my gums now #that stopped being painful in mid 2021 but when it died it was pretty bad it did stop me sleeping for a couple weeks #Christmas 2021 involved me contemplating ripping the tooth out myself lmao #the nerve eventually died seemingly without an abscess #unless I DID have an abscess but that seems extremely unlikely because abscesses are SEVERE AND HORRIBLE AND LIFE THREATENING #sometimes I can feel the tooth ligament wiggling on its own or I like flex it by accident it's so weird bc the tooth is gone so #the ligament is still holding onto the root but with way less weight #anyway I am eating my mac n cheese n veg with the side that has the missing tooth because the cavity tooth has a big bruise along the gumli #gumline which may be from overzealous brushing (I fill the tooth will temporarily filling putty and it needs to be cleaned well when the #putty falls out)

I should've posted this over a month ago, but this was essentially me after quitting on The Final Horizon (effing Master King!)

#sonic the hedgehog #sonic frontiers #video games #sonic team #sega #doctor starline #the final horizon #why are we still here #just to suffer #thoughts #i waited until i was on the brink of age 30 for tails and knuckles and amy to be playable again #i never asked for an officially endorsed kaizo mod #i still like frontiers for what it offered on day 1 and the two updates it delivered before the last one #if only i was able to say the long wait for it's final encore paid off #i experienced many frustrating tests of my patience and sanity throughout the final horizon #but there was a line and the master king's trial demanding darn-near if not outright perfection to win was where the game crossed it #so i spoiled the climax of this update for myself and I can say that i likely wouldn't have had any pleasure with that stuff either #sure it sucks to not see the end of this thing for myself as the developers would've wanted but the stupid struggle wasn't worth it anymore #tails and amy were fun to use though #knuckles feels unusually tanky but he's not awful

i started playing red dead redemption 2 yesterday and it's super fun! really really enjoying it so far. but i haven't exactly gotten far bc i've been so sleepy. i've had the game paused longer than not ^-^;; doing bjj two days in a row and then all the stuff i did today really wore me out damn. i'll be fine for the work week, but playing my game is gonna be tough lol.

#it's nearly 8p and i don't have to be asleep til 10:30p but i hiiighly doubt i'll make it that long #tbh i should just give this game one more run and see how far i can get then call it a night #dunno how up for nighttime playtime maple will be after the day she had too #i trimmed her nails this morning then locked her in my room while i did this season's Raid spray of the windows #and then she had her checkup at the vet #sweet girl's gonna need to sleep off the updated vaccines she got too #also i spent some time on the phone with my insurance resubmitting fucking 9 electrolysis claims #but i'm optimistic bc of the 10 i submitted a few weeks ago the one that went through got paid on!! almost in full!!#and by paid on it was literally a direct deposit into my bank reimbursing me for the out of pocket i paid at the time of service #i really hope the rest of them follow suit. and theyre all dates after i met my deductible. and my 2023 out of pocket was almost met #so here's hoping 🤞#narrating my life

Senna has been packing around a bottle of Sovereign Glue since a completely different campaign like... six years ago. They have used it exactly once to permanently seal shut a vault door.

Enter today, where we must disguise ourselves as unicorns to be granted access to a unicorn's grove in the feywild: the party druid wanted to polymorph into a micro-horse and asked for Senna's help to affix a twig to his head to complete the disguise - no problem: the Eladrin monk is always happy to help.

So now the druid has a twig permanently stuck to his forehead that can only be removed with a wish spell, universal solvent, or oil of etherealness.
