Bad Lawyer & Crazy Dog, an unconventional love story
JUST FINISHED THE LAST EPISODE OF LAWS OF ATTRACTION!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Okay this is your HUGE spoiler warning because I have so many thoughts and my love for this show knows no bounds but I don't wanna take away from the magic of living it through on your own so go watch it!!!
Overall episode rating: 9.5/10
Overall show rating: 10/10
I was so tempted to take away points for that SILLY GUITAR AND THE SINGING 😭🤣 but it's fine they can't help that they're in love dhhxhdj
So, currently writing this at midnight just after 2/9/2023 which was Tinn and Charn's wedding day!!!!!!! These two goofs have come so far and yeah, couldn't be happier for them 🫶
I took a pause in the middle of the episode to collate my thoughts and here was the list I made about the first half:
1. the mma boxing unconventional fight between tinn and nawin, it was giving 'youtube boxing: worst bits!' but it made me laugh so its fine 😭
2. thee having no one truly there for him except tan - his fellow bodyguards didn't even back him, meaning ever since he started working for tan's family he truly has known no one who cares and loves him deeply which 🥹😭 how did he manage to stay so kind through all that
3. thattep that psychopath.
4. nawin being the best character ever
5. how similar nawin and charn are (one just has a few dozen more braincells than the other
6. how charn planned that entire plot knowing the risks not only to his physical self but knowing he could be risking his entire career but he's ready to do that as we saw when thattep called him to prison 🤧👏
7. the one guy that said you dropped the soap in the prison showers 🥲
8. tan using his annoyingness to his advantage and celebrating being banned from an airline - the most tan thing to do tbh
9. thee and tinn link up AGAIN!!!
10. the wedding talk made me emosh.. the entire proposal (lets ignore the singing but even that wouldnt wipe the huge grin off my face as i was watching it) i love the storyline of the song though (hats off to that tumblr user who explained the story behind the song, this was perfect
11. emotional during the seeking of blessings from charn's mum
12. grandma is a gem 💯
13. maya and rose doing so much to help the people they love - they truly are the MVPs
14. tongkhao's dream living on 🥹 all she wanted on Tinn's birthday was for him to be happy and start a family with someone he loves, and he did it 🥹😭🤧
Also, completely ignore the fact that I skimmed over the whole exposing scene because it was decent but I knew, I just knew Charn wasn't gonna die today and a bullet wouldn't be the thing that ended him so IM GLAD I WAS RIGHT 😭
The wedding! OH THE WEDDING 🥹👏 It was beautiful, just everyone who loves them there and present in form or in spirit - seeing the dolls and knowing Tonkhao was there just 🥹 maybe I'm just an emotional wreck but this episode really got me in my feels
I did laugh my butt off when they were taking wedding photos because why so stiff 😭🤣 It served prom in a nice way WHICH IS FINE it was just looking a bit awkward and hence it was funny 🤭
Also I could write entire essays about Tan's storyline but the fact that he never held any resentment for his dad even after all of THAT is just astounding, and it highlighted how even though Thee and Tan are very different, down to their core values, they're the same which is why they're perfect for each other
Speaking of perfect for each other, seeing Rose and Maya get engaged!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH I WAS SO HAPPY FOR THEMM
When Tinn said 'one day' concerning the conversation about the legality of same sex marriage in Thailand, I got in my feels again as you can probably gather is a common theme here, and I realised how much good shows like this promote.. and yeah I won't waffle on too much about that but it was really powerful 🥹
All in all, if we learnt anything from Laws of Attraction, I'd comfortably say it would be... how to say doll in Thai 🤣 (WHAT? It sounds so amazing! tuktā (pronounced too-ka-ta), it's a much better word!)
No, but seriously, what a show, I'd definitely recommend watching it and I hope, whoever is still reading my midnight rambles, enjoys it as much as I did 🫰

Catching A Ghost | Simon 'GHOST' Riley
Ghost x Reader
CHAPTER TWENTY ONE

Catching A Ghost: Masterlist
The rush in the safe house was wild.
Everyone was running around, packing as much ammo and weapons into the trucks as possible.
You stared into the small mirror in the back room. Black was smudged around your eyes, your mask sat snug on your face. Perfect, like it had been made for you.
Your tactical vest was strapped on tightly, packed with grenades, smoke bombs, and ammo. Your knives were pinned in various places, easily accessible for you to throw.
You were ready.
But your heart wasn't.
Graves had been your fiancé for almost a year, the wedding had been mere months away. You were so ready and so willing to give your life to a person you didn't even know. The thought knocked you sick.
But you couldn't deny the fact that up until four months ago, you were totally, irrevocably, in love with that man.
Now you felt nothing.
Except rage.
Hatred.
He took your team away, kidnapped you, tried to kill your family.
"Are you sure you wanna do this?"
You looked up, seeing the reflection of Price behind you, "I'm sure."
"(Y/N), this isn't just some mission. You were gonna marry the man-"
"Yeah. I was. And he still killed my team. He still tried to kill Ghost and Soap. He still kidnapped me and Ale. He fucking drugged me."
You laughed a sarcastic laugh, tipping your head back to will the tears away, and turned to face him.
"He did all that, while still begging for me to marry him. Still claiming he did it because he loved me. You don't do that to someone you love."
"I know, sweet'eart, I know." Price said, pulling you into his arms. "I just don't want you to ruin yourself over this. He ain't worth it."
"God, I hate it when you're right."
"Speaking of which, I knew I was right about you and Simon." he said, smirking at you.
"Oh just fuck off will you?"
Laughing, the two of you followed the others outside, Price giving the team one final brief before everyone starting piling into the trucks.
The plan was to infiltrate in two teams.
Ghost Team 1 was Alejandro, Gaz, Price, and a pilot.
Ghost Team 2 was you, Rudy, Ghost, Soap, and the rest of Los Vaqueros.
Riding in the car, you sat at the back, facing the rest of the team. Twirling in your fingers was your dog tags, elbows resting on your knees as you leant forward.
Soap and Ghost shared a look - your eyes were hollow, looking dead a head.
They were worried for you.
Ghost, well, he was absolutely petrified.
He'd put his entire heart on the line now, in front of everyone no less. But he also knew what it felt like to need revenge, to need that closure, and he'd damn-well make sure you'd get it.
Once Price was up in the air, Alejandro gave your team the go ahead to approach.
It was now or never.
"Once we're in, we split up. Close air clears the way." Rudy instructed.
"With Shadows on the run, we locate Graves and kill him. Comprendes?" Ghost said, his voice bringing you back to reality.
"Affirm, sir." you spoke, focused.
He smirked under the mask, "Thought ya said you'd never call me sir? You're my equal, remember?"
You smiled, remembering back to the words you spoke when you'd had your first fight with him.
"Hmm, so I did, scratch that last."
Soap groaned, mimicking nausea, "think I preferred it when you two were keepin' things quiet, not sure I can handle the open flirtin'."
"Aww, don't worry, sergeant. I'm sure if you're a good boy, Ghost will let you have a go." you joked, pinching his cheeks.
"Fuck off, Reaper."
The crackle of the comms made the laughter die down, as Price called time to breach.
Soap took out the spotter, marking up the gate for Price, who went flying overhead in a Shadow helo.
Bracing yourself for impact, you ducked low, Ghost leaning over you as he and Soap braced too.
"Don't die, yeah?" he grunted in your ear.
You smiled, knowing that was his way of showing he cared, "Same goes for you, sir."
With that, you leapt from the vehicle, pulling the semi-automatic from your back.
Ghost was frozen for a moment, your emphasis on the term throwing him completely, until your shots firing pulled him back. With a faint smirk playing on his lips, he shook his head, and followed the rest of the team out of the truck.
Bursting through the gates, bullets rained down from all direction, Shadows came crawling from every corner.
But they ran when you appeared.
They ran with the power of fear.
Following Soap and Ghost through the buildings, the three of you worked seamlessly as a team, with Rudy directing you, and air support from Price.
"We need to take out that tower!" you yelled, ducking behind a barricade as you reloaded.
"Soap! Get a target on that tower now!"
"On it, L.T.!"
Within seconds, a missile flew down, reducing the tower to a clump of metal.
"We need to go through the barracks! That's the quickest way to Graves." Rudy said from beside you.
"Then let's go, on my say!"
Counting down, the boys followed your every order, pushing in unison toward the building.
Breaching the doors, you swept rooms with ample precision, Soap hot on your tail.
"Hey Soap." you called out.
"Ya good, Reaper?"
"Why do they call you Soap?"
"All this time, and you pick now to ask me tha'?"
"Affirm."
Soap chuckled, popping up to shoot down a few more Shadows before turning to you, "It's because of how fast and efficient I am at cleaning house."
"Oooh, very impressive, Sergeant." you said, a flirty tone in your voice. "What else can you clean well?"
"Behave." a gruff voice came through the comms, making you laugh.
"Or what?" you smiled.
"Ya don't wanna know."
"Didn't take ye for the jealous type, L.T." Soap chuckled.
You laughed too, moving through the building to come out of the other side, finding Ghost stood, finger ready on the trigger in case you were an enemy.
Putting your hands up, you cocked your head, walking toward him as he stood up.
Ghost rolled his eyes, "There's a lot you don't know about me, Johnny, like how many ways I know how to kill a man with just my hands."
"Right, yep. Copy that, L.T."
"Now who needs to behave?" you said, hand on your hip as you stood in front of Ghost.
"Ya doin' good, keep it up."
He ignored your statement, but placed a hand on your waist, giving it a small squeeze as he moved around you, the rest of the team catching up.
At that moment, a Shadow jumped from the roof above, landing on top of you.
Little did he know, you'd already clocked him, and as he landed, you'd pushed your hand up, blade of your knife slotting right into his neck. Your movements were so fast, Ghost had barely registered that you'd been attacked.
He had been knocked back on the impact, but was quick to his feet, helping you off the floor.
"Fuckin' hell, (Y/N)." Price's voice came, "Ya know, you're really startin' to scare me."
Breathless, you grinned, wiping your hands onto your trousers, "Good, you should be scared of me, big brother."
The team split into two, preparing to flank the main building, where Graves was hiding.
As the two lieutenants, you and Ghost were leading.
"See you on the other side, yeah?" you said through comms, looking across the tarmac to him.
"Affirmative."
With a signal from Soap, Price unloaded onto the building, taking out the snipers and other long range shooters on the roof, giving you the all clear to press forward on the ground.
Once again, bullets rained, grenades were thrown.
You were dodging, rolling, manoeuvring across the ground, tossing your knives and taking out Shadows with one hit. You'd sprint, Soap covering you, retrieving them before repeating the process again.
With blood and sweat, you fought to the building.
By the time you had reached Alejandro's HQ, almost every Shadow was dead.
Blood boiled in your veins as Soap yanked on the door.
"It's locked. Rudy, what you got?"
"Breacher charge." he replied, moving in front of you to place it over the handles.
"Fuckin' nice." you breathed.
There was no way anything else was getting in the way of you getting to Graves.
It was like something switched in you.
You felt cold...hard.
Your eyes turned to stone.
Your fists clenched at your sides.
"Clear to engage all threats. If you see Graves, drop him." Ghost said from your right.
"No." you said, turning to him, "Graves is mine."
He looked at you, as if he had something he wanted to say. But it seemed he knew better, given the tone of your voice and the look in your eye.
You were after vengeance, and he sure as hell wasn't going to get in your way.
He knew you were capable.
Ghost nodded, placing a firm hand on your arm to pull you into him, protecting you from the blast that would open the doors.
"Hey, Rudy. Sorry about your base." Soap said.
"Aye, me too, brother."
"Hit it." you commanded, moving your body into Ghost's.

The lovable Joey Tribbiani had a complex character arc and was often a struggling actor with a few regional credits to his name. It took time, but by the end of Friends, Joey was doing well for himself. He had been nominated for a Soapie Award for his work in Days of Our Lives and co-starred in a World War I movie with famed actor, Richard Crosby (played by Gary Oldman).
RELATED: Friends: 10 Nicest Characters, Ranked
Joey was known mostly for loyalty, trustworthiness, and for valuing friendship more than anything in the world. These character traits and a couple more made him the most iconic person on a show essentially about friendship.
10 Survived In The Challenging Acting Business
Tumblr media
Not a single member in the group has a story nearly as dynamic as Joey's. He knew there was more to life than paying bills. So, instead of caving to family pressure and going into his father's pipe-fitting business, Joey pursued the field he was actually passionate about. A struggling actor in New York, he had to work a number of survival jobs before he caught his big break.
Joey worked as a cologne sampler, an acting teacher, Christmas tree salesman, museum tour guide, and briefly as a waiter at the gang's hangout spot, Central Perk. The dry spell didn't seem to bog him down, especially because he had cultivated a strong friendship with Chandler who looked out for him.
9 Compelling Character Arc
Tumblr media
Joey's slow transformation is the biggest testament to the strength of his character. He didn’t get to promptly work as an actor but nevertheless persevered. He was home in the middle of the day while his friends were hard at work.
Joey's big break came when he was cast as Dr. Drake Ramoray on Days of Our Lives. The stint however didn't last long because he angered the writers by claiming he made up his own lines.
Joey was able to get his Days of Our Lives part back in season 7 of the show. Thereafter, he was shooting a movie with Richard Crosby and throwing soap opera parties on his roof.
8 Astute Remarks
Tumblr media
Chandler may be hailed as the king of sarcasm, but sometimes his witty one-liners paled into insignificance when compared with Joey's astute observations. In "The One with the 'Cuffs," while speaking to an encyclopedia salesman, Joey rightly remarked there were a few things in life that couldn't be learned from books.
RELATED: Friends: 10 Times We Related To Joey
Joey also gave clever pieces of advice to his friends, such as when he reminded them their bosses disliked them because they were hanging out at a coffee shop in the middle of a workday.
In the show's pilot, after seeing Paul the wine guy walk out of Monica's bedroom and apartment, Joey made fans laugh when he sarcastically contradicted Monica's earlier statement by asking, "What the hell do you do on a real date?"
7 The Loved One
Tumblr media
Joey was unquestionably the adorable one among the group.
Things would many a time turn sour between the friends. Ross and Rachel's on/off relationship inevitably led to conflict and the first time they split, they couldn't stand being in the same room as each other. Ross angered Chandler by fooling around with his mother. The Chandler himself crossed the line when he kissed Joey's girlfriend behind his back. The brother-sister duo, Monica and Ross either bickered about the latter's constant presence in her apartment or blurted out each other's secrets.
Joey was the least catty person of the six. He kept people's secrets and willingly gave up meat during Phoebe's pregnancy.
6 The Man Behind The Famous Pick-Up Line
Tumblr media
When Joey wasn't goofing around with Chandler, drinking coffee at Central Perk, or eating his fill at Monica's, he was spending time with the ladies. Chandler and Ross seemed to have the worst luck with women, whereas Joey was quite the charmer.
According to Joey, he would just look a woman up and down say, "Hey, how you doin'?"
Only Matt LeBlanc's Joey could deliver the line with absolute charm. None of the friends could speak in Joey's cadence, much less be able to bowl people over with the iconic catchphrase.
5 Good At Giving Advice
Tumblr media
Joey almost always made sense to his pals, even when he uttered gibberish. A case in point is the 'moo point' moment in “The One where Chandler Doesn’t Like Dogs."
As Rachel sought advice from Monica and Phoebe on whether or not she should make a move on her assistant Tag, Joey gave her good advice.
"All right, Rach. The big question is, "does he like you?" All right? Because if he doesn't like you, this is all a moo point," he told her.
Though for a short while the girls look bewildered, it made some sense when Joey explained what a moo point actually was.
“It’s like a cow’s opinion. You know. It just doesn’t matter. It’s moo.”
RELATED: Friends: 10 Times Joey Proved He Wasn't So Dumb After All
However bizarre the word 'moo' may have sounded, even Rachel had to admit it made sense not to waste any efforts over a person who didn't like her back.
4 Most Selfless Friend
Tumblr media
Joey would oftentimes go out of his way to make life better for all of his friends. He showed genuine concern for Rachel and Phoebe upon hearing they were to become single parents. Without any hesitation, he offered them marriage saying people who shared special bonds could marry to raise a child together.
Joey put his feelings aside to let Chandler date Kathy. He also covered for Chandler and Monica at the expense of his reputation for a long time. Admittedly, it made him look like an idiot but he did everything he could (including shaving his legs) only because his friends weren't ready to make their relationship public.
3 A Truly Good Person
Tumblr media
Joey was a good human being, as he was compassionate and empathetic towards the people around him. In "The One with The Birth," he offered his support to a single pregnant woman while she delivered her baby.
Although Joey was forced into becoming Treeger's dancing partner in "The One with the Ballroom Dancing," he eventually came around and started to enjoy it too.
The defining features of Joey's character were treating people with kindness and warmth.
2 The Famous One
Tumblr media
As Friends reached its conclusion, the gangs' respective careers panned out the way they wanted or hoped to. Joey's path wasn't nearly as smooth, and he had his fair share of struggles. But the fact remains, no one amongst a group of well-educated adults ended up becoming famous like him.
Because Joey was in the acting business, a great number of people knew about him. He was once the three-down clue for a crossword puzzle in the Soap Opera Digest, earned a Soapie nomination, and rightly called himself a soap opera star before lending $2000 to Monica in, "The One With the Boob Job."
1 Officiated Two Weddings
Tumblr media
Monica and Chandler couldn't have found a better minister than Joey to officiate their wedding. On the day of the wedding, Joey had a full plate but managed to arrive just in time to lead the wedding ceremony. He kept the officiant speech sweet and told a room full of people he couldn't imagine two people more perfect for each other.
Joey also performed Phoebe and Mike’s ceremony. Earlier, she'd asked him to walk her down the aisle but seeing that their minster was snowed-in, he offered to officiate.
The fact that Joey performed two of his closest friends' weddings proves his friendship was important to them.
