One irritating thing about playing a halfling in BG3 is that Zephyr’s jump distance is shit compared to the rest of the Brainworms.
Now, there are a few ways around this. I can have Gale cast Enhance Leap as early as level 1. There are also spell scrolls that can have the same effect, such as Dimension Door or Misty Step. Zephyr is a druid, so by level 4, she can wildshape into a dire raven and fly (compared to tabletop D&D, where you don’t get wings until level 8).
But why burn a spell slot or a scroll or a wildshape charge when I can just have Karlach fucking YEET my ass into the great beyond for the low, low price of 2 bludgeoning damage?
Unfortunately, Astarion is NEVER going to let them live it down…

Re: Communism and organised religion. I actually read a Tumblr post a while ago that argues that Jesus (at least as depicted in the four canonical Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) was actually a pretty not-great person whose raid on the Temple legitimately hurt a lot of poor and working class Jewish people and there’s apparently some evidence that Marx wasn’t particularly enlightened about certain things as well.
OMG YOU GUYS, HAVE YOU HEARD THAT JESUS WAS PROBLEMATIC?!?! WE SHOULD CANCEL HIM?!?!
(also, if they think that's what was making life hard for poor first-century CE Jews, just wait until they hear about the Roman Empire. But then, that can't really be anyone's fault since America wasn't invented yet, and/or it IS America's fault for psychically projecting imperialist brainwaves into the past and making sure it was all due to provocation by NATO.)

while reading codename: sailor v, i noticed this interesting anecdote that artemis gives about venus as a planet. he states that earth and venus are two of a kind and that venus is the earth’s twin.
