so i watched the yellow submarine movie for the 2nd time today and something i noticed is how john is addressed as "john love" two times, once by cartoon ringo and once by real paul, and both times the subtitles said just plain "john"???? it confuses me greatly

Brian Epstein Statue Unveiled in Liverpool
Liverpool now has a Brian Epstein statue to go with John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.
Unveiled Aug. 27 on the 55th anniversary of Epstein’s death, the statue of the Beatles’ manager stands nearby the Liverpool Beatles Museum.
“We are so pleased that Brian has his rightful place on Whitechapel only 100 yards away from us here,” the museum tweeted.
Andy Edwards, who created the city’s statues of the Fabs, sculpted the Epstein statue.
Epstein also managed Gerry and the Pacemakers, Cilla Black, Billy J. Kramer and the Dakotas and other acts.
“We feel Brian really deserves this honor,” Tom Calderban, of the Brian Epstein Legacy Project, told the Liverpool Echo.
“His impact on the world of music, art and culture was - and continues to be - overwhelmingly positive, and we believe our debt to him as a city is incalculable.”
