the issue with the prime!sonic shenanigans is the fact that. i agree with the twitter users but they r taking it too seriously. like yeah i agree, sonic wouldn't be too open with his affection and emotions, yeah i agree that the folks on the crew saying it's canon to the mainline thing should've showed it through the actual writing, yeah this kind of characterization goes against the point of the show, yeah they kinda maybe nerfed sonic etc etc
but here's the THING tho: it's not that serious? i can point out 300 other mischaracterizations that are 10000x more serious. like, sonic is going to be the type of character that changes thru time to match the demands of whoever they wanna cater to. it's obvious. and for sonic prime? didn't one of the crew of this show straight up say that yeah they are targeting a younger audience but still allow longtime fans to have a piece of the cake. it's obvious from the absurd amount of flashbacks, it's obvious from the dialogue. i think this is just smth thay they think the kids want, most esp with the sonic films.
Yeah, you can be upset that ur fave version of this character might get lost to time. yeah, you can be critical of the show and the way it handles everything. but lord almightyyyy this is a cartoon hedgehog!!!!! this is not thay serious!!! talk about it but don't be a bitch about it oh my godddd

Jump Leads launches at 8am pacific tomorrow!
The series is six episodes of science-fiction comedy. It's Doctor Who meets Red Dwarf by way of Sliders, and I am insanely proud of it.
Jump Leads follows two trainees in the Lead Service - a sort-of self-appointed reality police - as they travel to parallel universes on their earliest field training exercises. Chaperoned by the eccentric but charming Captain Lucas, they soon learn that there's more to travelling to parallel worlds than their training textbooks might have covered.
The show features an amazing cast, including Austin Lee Matthews (Final Fantasy VII Remake, Pokémon Revolution, Megaton Girl) and Dino Andrade (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Bidoof's Big Stand) as well as guest appearances from Connor Andrade (We Baby Bears, Shenmue III, Spider-Man), Lemar Harris (who recently appeared as the DM in Rhett & Link's "We Hired an Exorcist to Play D&D!"), and Will Overgard (Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed).
It also features:
Six (mostly) standalone stories, one of which is entirely about character development take that prestige television!
Two diametrically-opposed characters stuck together through circumstance!
Queer lead characters!
At least two different types of robot!
Two mid-credits scenes that are just for jokes and don't serve to set up spin-offs of some kind!
Theme music by Professor Shyguy!
A subtle, hidden reference to the seminal 1991 cinematic platform action-adventure game Another World!
Captioned versions on YouTube!
I've said this a billion times, but I am so, so proud of how this show came out and I really, really hope you listen to and enjoy it a lot. You can find the show in your podcasting app, or by selecting one of these handy-dandy links:

Week 4- [Colour Theory & Psychology]
At the beginning we had tried out a few of the colour based tools on photoshop. We were asked to select any random image and to colour pick from it using the eyedropper tool, creating a palette of similar colours. The eyedropper tool is very helpful when quick selecting colours from an image or art piece. Another way to select colours is the basic colour wheel/hue cube, every art program will have this as its a main way of selecting colours. There are three types of colour wheel we had looked at, basic colour wheel, the hue cube which is just a different layout to the colour wheel, and the grayscale slider.
Yet the colour wheel includes a variety of colour schemes such as Primary, Secondary, Tertiary, Warm colours [top half of wheel], Cold colours [bottom half of wheel], Monochromatic- to say a few. All of these can also be implemented into character designs for example Mario and Sonic being primary colours which fits their style and game.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
We had recently been learning about shape design within characters and how different shapes like sharp ones, round ones and blocky ones can define a character. But for this lesson we had looked more into colour theory and colour phycology within art pieces and characters, how even different colours may effect the perception of a character. We had briefly looked at a few examples of how colour can represent the tone, emotion and whole feel of the scene. The left scene may represent sadness, despair and emptiness using the different blues, yet on the right the scenes include bright drastic colours, representing a very exciting and tense filled scene.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This also applies with colours chosen for character designs. For example I have selected four sonic characters, each with different colours and features that define their character/personality. The first one- Sonic, is mostly blue representing that he is energetic, trust-worthy and loyal. The second one- Tails, is mostly yellow representing he is creative, intelligent and brave. The third one, Knuckles, is mostly red showing that he is short-tempered, strong and passionate. The three colours blue, yellow and red fit together as not only are they primary colours, but are also a part of the Triadic colour scheme, naming them as 'Harmonious'. Lastly is Blaze who is mostly purple which represents royalty, magic and wisdom. These colours were specifically chosen for these characters to represent those specific qualities well.
Tumblr media
It is also interesting how the meaning behind colours may change due to culture, gender, age etc. For example, rather than red being a strong, aggressive colour, In Japan red is rather a lucky colour; said to ward off bad spirits and evil.
Colour design and Colour Phycology are both extremely important in animation and design in general when it comes to making a pleasing scene for the audience to immediately pick up on and understand the whole tone and setting. I feel that looking at these examples I was given, gives me a better understanding of the use of it and why its implemented in so much media, especially when it comes to character design.

Voice Ideas for Amy Rose
Its finally here!! Here are the top five voice ideas for Amy Rose for the third Sonic film. I swear i will freak the FREaK OUT if she doesn’t come and she has to come! She helps Shadow become a hero at the end!! But anyway, here are my ideas for who should take on the role of our favorite pink hedgehog heroine!!
1) Cristina Vee-
She plays Ladybug, also as Marinette and she has provided a lot of vos for anime games. Also, its impressive how she can change from Shantae to Verosika Mayday!!! She’s also an amazing drummer and singer so if she gets a song, her and Ben Schwartz will sing off the charts.
2) Anna Kendrick-
Amy is a fun character because her primary traits are set, but the sliders of her personality are always in flux. Kendrick is a gifted performer who could bring out both her empathetic team therapist side and her unhinged aggressive side. And this would be the second pink character for her to play.
3) Karen Fukuhara-
Starring in The Boys, and first being noticed of her star power in Suicide Squad as Katana, Fukuhara is another perfect choice for Amy. From voicing Glimmer in She Ra and the title character in Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts, she has portrayed characters with bubbly and giggly
4) Alison Brie-
Her role as Annie Edison in Community was as hilarious as it was powerful, commanding a very complex character and standing out amongst many great performers. Her performance in GLOW was a dynamic lead that sold real pathos throughout the show. She is an accomplished comedic actor, and her natural charm makes her a fantastic choice for the role of Amy Rose. Also, Unikitty.
5) Lacey Chabert-
Best known for Gretchen Weiners and Eliza Thornberry. But if y’all remember the infamous game Sonic 06, you’ll know she voiced Princess Elise. If would be a great comeback for her to be in the Sonic Movie Universe and return to the Sonic franchise.
This is all for now

Pc Games With Character Creation Offline

Games With Character Customization Pc
Steam Games With Character Creation
One of the things I love most in a RPG (Role-Playing Game) is the possibility of creating my own character with tons of different options and add-ons. I made a research yesterday and found some interesting PC Games I already knew about, adding them to the titles I have or plan to get with the best Character Customization. I’m going to list them here for you guys also attaching a few videos so that you can see directly how they work and what kind of possibilities they offer.
It’s the main reason I enjoy games like Skyrim and Fallout. But there seem to be so few good (single player) games with decent character creation - and not just picking from a few presets. The character creation in Dragon Age: inquisition was amazing (although I struggled to enjoy the game) as well as Saints Row (which I really enjoyed). Addicting Offline Co-op Games For PC You’ll Want To Play. Dennis Patrick / Features / Best Co-op PC Games, Co-op, Cooperative. Sonic the Hedgehog is a staple video game character. Best MMORPG with Character Creation. Final Fantasy 14 has one of the most complex and sophisticated character editors. In this game, you can change the smallest details using different sliders, pick a unique voice, or add unique tattoos, accessories and facial paint. What Are Best RPGs With Character Creation? Role-playing games let us live out some of our greatest fantasies like slaying dragons, saving the world and owning a house. Whether your main character is dead, alive, or somewhere in between, these games will let you adjust your appearance and abilities to however you see fit. I've always loved games that give you the option to create your character before you start in the world. I enjoy the game even more when it has role playing or social aspects added to it, allowing you interact with NPCs, or other players if the game has a multiplayer feature. Just character creation would interest me enough to check any game out.
Follow me under the cut if you’re curious!
I’ve been introduced to this type of creation with a game I still keep in my heart and consider one of the best of all times; The Sims 2. Seriously, I’ve created so many 3D characters that if I could win an award I’d have 200 on my shelf by now.
With that said, here you are my personal list of PC games with their awesome customization in no particular order:
I tried this game myself (the free beta that is) a few times in the past and I swear the CC included in it is currently one of my favorite. Without the complete pack I probably didn’t have a lot of additional options available in terms of clothes, makeup and hair, but what truly mesmerized me at the time was the shaping tool, not yet common in games when they released EVE. You can grab and drag different parts of the head and body, modeling unique characters every time.
Tumblr media
2. Black Desert Online
This game has been released recently with two different packages and it seems to be quite a popular MMORPG (Massive(ly) Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) in Russia and Korea. I’m not surprised considering the quality this game seems to have and its customization is clearly no less. Just like EVE Online, Black Desert offers a good sculpt instrument to shape faces and bodies as much as you like, plus a beautiful variety of colors and combinations.
UPDATE: The game is also available on Steam!
This patch lets you play Legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks with mostly non-touch based controls. The new control bindings are Control Bindings: D-Pad=Run Y+Dpad=Walk B=Wide slash B+Dpad=Long slash Y+B=Spin Attack A=Interact A+Dpad=Roll. Legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks D-Pad Patch This patch implements non-touchscreen controls for essential actions in Legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks. Legend of zelda spirit tracks xenophobia patched rom.
3. Blade&Soul
This is another Asian MMORPG with the classical ‘Anime’ style, you cannot freely reshape the character’s structure, only pick one of the available presets and play around with the sliders to modify the whole body. Andy mckinney molly hatchet. Still, I honestly like the bright colors, the races/classes and the fact that you can actually recreate other existing characters using additional content (just like this guy did with Cloud from Final Fantasy VII).
4. BLESS Online
Yes, another Asian online title. Hey, it’s not my fault if they look so pretty! Bless is quite recent and not yet released in its final stage, but judging by how the CC works you have as much freedom as in EVE or Black Desert and the same unmistakable Fantasy touch.
5. The Sims 4
Didn’t I mention The Sims 2? Well, looks like the latest title in the series has improved quite a lot in this area. The shaping/sculpting method is here as well, considering that we finally have more possibilities I certainly won’t complain!
Note: In this video I can see the woman has a few mods installed. If you decide to get this game (or even the previous chapters) I definitely suggest you to do the same if you don’t like the default character design.
6. Fallout 4
Another recent (and quite famous) game. Apparently you can only work on the face here, but once again we see the sculpt tool in action. Even if the hair options are a bit limited you can still customize your character and create unique features playing around with your cursor.
7. Dragon Age: Inquisition
Who knows me is well aware of the fact that I am completely OBSESSED with this game, thus I couldn’t really leave it out. The hair options are definitely questionable and just like in Fallout 4 you do not have any body morph nor slider to alter, but as you can see from this video example you are still able to personalize your Inquisitor in a good way, also using real people or other characters as reference. To be honest I like some of the default presets too, if you don’t like spending two hours working on a face (I do that all the time, but I am a basket case so please ignore my madness :P), you can pick those and get a good result nonetheless.
And don’t forget about mods! 😉
8. Skyrim (The Elder Scrolls V)
This one has been around for a very long time and it remains probably the top 1 Fantasy game out there. If you’re not into mods at all and want to keep your game vanilla be sure that the overall quality is not as improved as the current generation, you can see that from the low-res hair and general textures. The reason why I’m including this CC in the list anyway is because even if old, Skyrim looks quite good compared to other games where you only get 3/4 slider options.
9. APB Reloaded
The last game I’d like to mention (and I literally just discovered it) is this not so new title which has a kick-ass Character Creator. Not only it shows some quality graphics there, but the level of customization is unbelievable! You can make hair shorter, beards longer, create beautiful tattoos (and place or rotate them wherever you want!), add patterns to clothes and even get your personal car! 😀

There are of course many other games with a Character Creator, but they all seem pretty similar or not good enough to be mentioned in my list.
What do you think about these? Let me know with a comment if you like!
Those late-night multiplayer sessions can be really fun sometimes. Surely, everything is better with friends, they say and you’ll agree with that at some point. However, after a long day of work and studying, I like to relax with offline games. Sometimes, it’s satisfying to let yourself indulge in a great single-player story and forget about any problems bothering you. So, if you are like me, then welcome to the club! Below is my list of 20 best offline games for PC and I hope you’ll enjoy them.
1. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
W2k16 pc download. Well, you’ve guessed it! The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt takes first place on the list with its epic setting, characters, gameplay, and those breathtaking visuals! It’s a compelling game that will offer you more than a hundred hours of non-filler gameplay, and there’s always something to explore. The game looks amazing, and the combat system is great. This open-world title is everything you need on your free days! Combine that with the great RPG elements and fun dialogues with NPCs, and you got yourself a pretty good offline game! Go and play it now, it’s a must-play.
2. Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus
Wolfenstein series has been once again revived with Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus. The positive reviews flashed all around the globe, and this game quickly became one of the best shooting games of 2017. B.J Blazkowicz is such a badass protagonist and the characters surrounding the game are interesting. You’ll quickly start to care about each and every one of them, making this game a worthy offline title. Bethesda said that they won’t be focusing on multiplayer, so they can bring an immersive single-player experience. Well, you nailed it, Bethesda; great job!
3. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Bethesda is one of my favorite companies when it comes to gaming, at least they were a few years back. A few years back, this masterpiece called The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was released and it took the Earth by storm! This offline open-world title offers hundreds of hours of exploration and you’ll probably never get bored of it! The combat system might be dated, but it’s damn fun to play and explore every corner of the game. After six years since its release, I’m still eager to give Skyrim another go. It’s that great!
4. Fallout 4
Games With Character Customization Pc
Fallout 4 is one of those top offline games that you either like or dislike. It’s a great single-player experience, as you explore a huge world of fictional city Commonwealth. I mean, the story here is scattered here and there, and our protagonist is in search of his abducted son. However, the game often steers away from that and let you have some freedom and exploration. It’s a fantastic reboot of the series, and it’s surely the best game in the franchise. If you are up for that Stalker-ish feeling, then give this a try!
5. Hitman (2016)
Hitman isn’t a strictly offline game, but I included it because it has a great single-player campaign. While the previous entry in the series Hitman: Absolution relied more on linear, claustrophobic, and confined experience, Hitman (2016) went in a different direction. Here, you’ll experience a vast, open-world with lots of stuff to do. The levels are not that numerous, but they are as big as hell! You can complete your missions in various ways and earn certain rewards and points for doing so. Hitman is a challenging stealth experience, but once Agent 47crawls under your skin, there’s no going back!
Steam Games With Character Creation
6. Nioh
Nioh is a less-known offline game released this year, and I feel like this game is very underrated. It’s a child of Dark Souls and Bloodborne series, which can tell you much about this game. It has a single, crushing, and unforgiving difficulty that will leave you begging for mercy. It’s hard, and you’ll need some blazing fast reflexes and huge gaming skills to finish it. There are more than twenty bosses in the game, and every single boss will kick your ass! Don’t expect to finish this game in a few days; you’ll need weeks to finish it and it will be painfully slow as the bosses shame you every little time… you helpless gamer!
7. Nier: Automata
Another underrated game – Nier: Automata. How could the gaming community overlook this game? Are you blind, or what? This game offers thirty hours of a pure, refined, and amazing experience! It’s a hack-and-slash title that mergers several genres with it. The open world in this game is huge, and the post-apocalyptic environment looks depressing and feels like a void. Nier also introduces RPG elements so you can now level yourself up, upgrade weapons, buy stuff, etc. On top of that, there are some 2D sections that feel like a great platformer, and that’ very unique! Nier: Automata is better than most AAA titles and costs double the less of that price, which is one more reason to get it.
8. Dark Souls 3
Dark Souls series got a fantastic reboot with Dark Souls 3. Just if it wasn’t enough for the previous games in the series, and now we got this punishing game. What can I say? Prepare to die a LOT in this game, as it’s created to kill you. I’m not joking, the whole game is against you, and you can’t do anything about that except fight like a lunatic. Even when you die, the enemies around you respawn and you must fight again and again, which is really frustrating. However, if you have the balls to play it, and manage to finish it, then you deserve a medal, Sir!
9. Bioshock Infinite
Bioshock Infinite is the newest installment in the Bioshock series. This cheap game can give you a huge value for your buck, especially when the Holidays come. I mean, for just a couple of bucks, you can get a fantastic FPS game, which campaign isn’t short and definitely isn’t boring! Bioshock Infinite continues its tradition with great shooting mechanics, various powerups, and that fast-paced shooting in a beautiful environment of the game. Get ready to cause mayhem!
10. Alien: Isolation
Alien: Isolation is that PC offline game that will haunt your dreams every time you try to sleep. It’s a horror game in which you try to stay in one piece and escape that damn space station called Sevastopol. Sounds similar? Well, that’s because the game is based on Alien (1979) movie, which was a very disturbing experience at the time. It’s an intense game that makes your palms sweat and your heart beating so fast that you’ll think it’s gonna come out of your chest! Try this horror if you dare, and watch yourself getting swallowed by the Alien, in a single bite!
11. Far Cry Primal
Elephants are cool, but mammoths are so badass! In Far Cry Primal, you can hunt mammoths and even ride them when you get to higher levels! How cool are you from zero to riding a mammoth? This beautiful-looking game is set 10,000 years BC and no, you aren’t going to shoot guns, but bash the hell out of your enemies. The arsenal of weapons might not be that huge, but the combat is great and requires more thinking, as the enemies are sometimes overwhelming and can easily kill you. If you have the luck to tame a sabertooth tiger, you may survive in this harsh world!
12. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
There is something special about that claustrophobic feeling, especially when it comes to horror games that you can play without internet. That sense of dread and despair when you don’t have much space to move is priceless. Don’t think of me as a psycho, but I LOVE the horror genre! RE7: Biohazard is a game that caught my attention as soon as it was released. This bad boy will provide you with a horrific experience that will leave you scared to death! As the game plays from the first-person perspective, it’s much easier to get yourself immersed, but also scared.
13. Outlast 2
Outlast 2 is yet another offline horror experience, where the developers decided to leave your powerless. There aren’t weapons for you to use, and surely no means to defend yourself. So, what are you left with? Well, a camera and a journal should do the trick! The game does a damn fine job of melding the horror and the dread with stealth and great storytelling. In the end, you may feel a little let down by the ending, but I know you’ll enjoy it until the very end.
14. Dead Space 3
Tumblr media
Cat et 2015a factory password generator. While the past games in the series focused more on that horror experience, Dead Space 3 is more of an action-horror game. Sure, there are Necromorphs and they are vicious and all, but the action part is more prominent. Needless to say that Dead Space 3 is an amazing game and I’m very sad that Visceral Games is closed by EA in October. This survival horror game is hugely underrated, but it’s awesome and I recommend you to play it. It’s just a couple of bucks for this experience, don’t be a niggard!
15. Portal 2
There’s something awesome when it comes to Source Engine. The games made with this engine looks amazing, yet they run smoothly. How did Valve manage to do that? Well, as I am not a game developer, don’t ask me! But ask me about Portal 2, which is Valve’s magnum opus, and a compelling puzzle game. The whole point of the game is to use a Portal gun in order to create portals and pass through them. However, the game isn’t that simple and requires some brain skill to finish it. Grab your Portal Gun, and let’s go on a venture!
16. Limbo
This 2D game is straight-up terrifying, dark, and misanthropic from the start to finish! In Limbo, you are a little boy that needs to survive this colorless world of the game as he overcomes various obstacles and escape scary monsters. I like the game’s artwork and the atmosphere is simply top-notch here if you like the dark ambient in the games. It’s a must-play for every offline Indie games lover!
17. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat
Speaking of the atmosphere, very few great offline games can replicate the atmosphere as it is in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat. That post-apocalyptic atmosphere of Pripyat looks great, and the game isn’t colorful, which is the whole point. Everything has that grey-ish tint, as this town suffered greatly when the Nuclear Powerplant in that area exploded. It’s based on a real-life event that occurred around 1989, which gives the game a certain weight and meaning.
18. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
With MGSV: The Phantom Pain, Hideo Kojima proved that he still has what it takes to create such immersive PC games without internet. This stealth game is challenging and full of stuff to do, due to its open-world nature. The characters are badass and the game feels somewhat dark, with a very serious tone. Oh, and not to forget that plot twist at the end that’s worth those thirty hours I’ve spent on this game!
19. SOMA
Horror fans will be pleased that I mentioned another horror title here. SOMA is an absolutely spooky and nerve-wracking experience! It creates that atmosphere that’s very unique, and with the story being told in the shape of various documents scattered through the game, it’s even more badass! You are all alone here and you’ll fight for your life, only to find out that you aren’t actually alive! A truly wonderful offline game for Windows.
20. Superhot
Superhot is a cartoonish-looking offline game that revolves around time. To make it simple, the time in the game moves when you move, so if you are standing still, nothing will happen. Vice Versa, if you are moving and shooting, then the enemies will do the same. It’s a lot of fun, but a lot of challenges too. I played it with some of my favorite death metal albums, just to ensure that I’m hardcore enough to beat it!
Tumblr media
As we are approaching near the end of our journey through the offline PC games, I’m here to ask you a question. What is your favorite offline game for PC? I tried my best to count some of my favorite offline games, and although I’m maybe going to start a war for not including some of the games, I stand behind my words. Oh, and why don’t you tell me what game did I miss? Do you have any favorites besides these 20 games? Please, let me know, and don’t forget to do some gaming today!

Do you have any advice you would give to new Project Diva players?
okay im not an expert on project diva, but i can give some things that i learned through the demo and all that! jus keep in mind mega mix is the only one i own on console, i use a ps3 emulator to play project diva f + f2nd and a psp emulator to play a fan translated copy of project diva 2nd! (and on top of that i only use a pro controller on switch if that adds any difference?)
- the d-pad is your best friend! i personally use it for holding notes or hitting other notes after i accidentally held down a button on the other side of my controller!
- go to your options menu and set your lag configuration before gameplay! manually setting it or playing without it is cool and all, but can definitely make the game much more suitable to your abilities if you use lag config!
- if all else fails, the shoulder buttons are also a friend! i personally have never used my joysticks for sliders, but maybe its just me constantly playing remote controller because when ‘L R L R’ actually corresponds to your left and right shoulder buttons, it gets a bit burned in your brain!
- always branch out from your comfort zone! use the randomize option in the songs menu! your player rank will thank you (if you care about it, mine is at 10), and you may thank yourself by finding a new favorite song! honestly thats how i gained my love for dream-eating monochrome baku!
- play around with modules if you want! wanna see sonic miku in the background of magnet? wanna play a game of how well you can match unrelated modules by changing len out for another character because a song ships him with rin? go wild! its your game, have fun with it!
which brings us to our final point!
- just do whatever makes it a fun experience for you!

So... If every Smash character were to have an echo fighter: (also new fighter ideas?)
Mario - Honestly I’d put Luigi, but he’s not an option and I guess Dr. Mario is like an echo fighter for him even though he’s not
Donkey Kong - Could easily put in another one of the Kongs such as DK Junior, Chunky Kong, Funky Kong, etc.
Link - Another version of Link could work
Samus - Has Dark Samus as efighter
Yoshi -  Birdo! Please, can we have our lovely pink friend added?
Kirby - Hard to think of anyone else for Kirby lol
Fox - We could have Peppy or Slippy
Pikachu - Raichu! Either the original version or the Alolan version
Luigi - Where we could have put our hopes and dreams for Waluigi, but definitely not happening
Ness - I don’t know much about Earthbound, but I think they pretty much have all the kids in
Captain Falcon - Black Shadow or Blood Falcon
Jigglypuff - We could have Wigglytuff or even Clefairy. Really any small, round, puffy pokemon could work
Peach - Has Daisy as efighter
Bowser -  Petey Piranha would be a nice change! Though I think more people would prefer (and would probably work better) Dry Bowser
Ice Climber - Yeah I’ve got no clue
Sheik - Impa! Maybe her Ocarina of Time version as her newer versions have a large sword (Impa for Smash??!?!!!!)
Zelda - Can easily put Hilda in as an option. If not, another version of Zelda would be ok
Dr. Mario - Let’s leave the doc alone to his thoughts
Pichu - Plusle and/or Minum or any other small electric pokemon
Falco - Same ideas as Fox possibly
Marth - Has Lucina as efighter
Young Link - This one is hard as well, as the only other “young Link” in the series’ history is Wind Waker who is on the list. I thought maybe Saria but I guess it’d be difficult as she doesn’t use a sword...
Ganondorf - Possibly Demise
Mewtwo - Mew!
Roy - Has Chrom as efighter
Mr. Game & Watch - No idea. If there’s another character like him from the 80s that would fit, that would work
Meta Knight - Know anyone else in Dreamland with a sword?
Pit - Has Dark Pit as efighter
Zero Suit Samus - Is there anyone else that we could use from the Metroid series that matches her move set?
Wario - Who knows
Snake - I know nothing about his series but I know he’s a clone so maybe a different Snake
Ike - We can put in one more Fire Emblem character here. Too many to chose from!
Pokemon Trainer - They added the girl trainer as another costume, so what if they did a whole new trainer (cough Team Rocket) and similar pokemon?
^
^
Diddy Kong - Dixie Kong hands down
Lucas - See Ness from above
Sonic - Shadow the Hedgehog!
King Dedede - Another Dreamland villain perhaps?
Olimar - Louie, Alph, Britanny, or Charlie
Lucario - Another pokemon - maybe Alakazam?
R.O.B. - eh
Toon Link - Tetra!! How could I forget her?!?!?! Thanks webcomixwastaken!!!
Wolf - no idea
Villager - As you’re the only human in the game, maybe with one of the other neighbors you could meet?
Mega Man - If all his Mega Man versions are in his Final Smash, I’d say it’d hopeless to hope for an efighter for this guy
Wii Fit TRAINER - If you know another other fit-friendly person to fit the role
Rosalina & Luna - Too unique to have an efighter
Little Mac - One of his opponents
Greninja - Another water-type pokemon?
Mii Fighter - They’re fine on their own unless you wanna add more types to them
^
^
Palutena - Another Goddess or Medusa from Kid Icarus
PAC-MAN - Who better than Ms. PAC-MAN
Robin - Same with Ike, there’s probably a lot of other FE characters who could fit in
Shulk - Rex?
Bowser JR. - They have all the Koopalings, probably no one else could fit this role
Duck Hunt Duo - Very specific, can’t think of anyone else
Ryu - Another Street Fighter character
Cloud - Another Final Fantasy character
Corrin - Another FE character
Bayonetta - Probably won’t happen as she has her colors but Jeanne would work nicely
Inkling - OCTOLINGS!!!
Ridley - Too unique to have one?
Simon - Has Richter as efighter
King K. Rool - Has a very specific set of moves, can’t imagine him with an efighter
Isabelle - She’s don’t need no echo fighter
New fighter ideas:
From Nintendo IPs:
K.K. Slider from Animal Crossing (if he’s not an assist trophy for this game). It be cool if he could use his music to attack opponents!
Spring Man and Ribbon Girl from ARMS. Could even have an efighter who are two more characters from the game. Or if they wanted to make the two separate characters that works as well. Obviously their main weapons would be their arms.
The cute little characters from Snipperclips. I highly doubt it but never put it past Nintendo - they did add Wii Fit TRAINER who kinda came out of nowhere. Can snip and clip enemies.
So many potential Zelda characters they could add! Depending if they’re assist trophies already or not, but could include: Impa (see above with Sheik), Fi, Maron (she’s already a fighter in Hyrule Warriors), Darunia, Ruto, any of the Champions from Breath of the Wild, Tetra, Ravio, Yuga, Skull Kid...
From 3rd-Party IPs:
Honestly, first and foremost, it’d be awesome to have Sora from Kingdom Hearts! It’d be another sword-type character, but imagine him with his Keyblade! And Disney characters! Though this one might be hard  to obtain since it’s SquareEnix/Disney, BUT would be a very good advertising strategy for Square/Disney since KH3 comes out one month after Smash. This would be the character I’d want in Smash the most as of right now.
Another hopeful for me is Professor Layton from the Professor Layton series. He could use a fencing sword (Yeah another sword user) and his final smash you could point at your opponent and have them trapped inside a puzzle! Could have Luke or Katrielle as an efighter.
Dr. Eggman from the Sonic series. He could be inside one of his robots to attack! So many options for his fighting style and for what his final smash would be! Also another villain which we need more of.
Rayman from the Rayman series (part of me for a moment thought about the Rabbids who could possibly end up on the list but I really hope not just because I would absolutely hate their taunt if they’re screaming but with the latest collab with Nintendo, it’s actually highly possible).
Someone from Dragon Quest? Monster Hunter? Resident Evil? Soul Caliber? Call of Duty? Steve from Minecraft? Assassin’s Creed? Lara Croft from Tomb Raider? Crash Bandicoot? Ace Attorney?
Just from my opinions, I would think Dr. Eggman and/or the Rabbids would be the most likely to show up next as new fighters in the game.

Retrospective/Issues/Plans
Looking back at the work I have accomplished over the last couple of months, I am quite proud of what I have achieved.
My coding was really limited and I have learnt a lot about this process, as well as the process of creating a game, story writing, voice acting and composing an interactive score.
I enjoyed using Twine, even if it does come with some limitations. The fact that it isn’t really meant to be used with audio made it challenging. The lack of an audio mixer made it tough to balance the different audio elements, such as the voice overs and the score. Sometimes the voice over is too quiet, and can get lost. This problem would be fixed with an integrated audio engine. When I get back to expanding this project, I will without a doubt move to a piece of software with that application.
I would also like the games artwork be the centre piece of the games visuals rather than a picture in the background. I want to create character models/ sprites and have animations. This will make it a lot more interactive, playful and immersive.
The main UI could do with some work, I don’t like the fact that a player can go back to a previous slide, taking out the immersion and removing the severity of a players actions, as they can be negated just by returning to the previous slide. Volume sliders would also be beneficial to have on the side for a player to control the volume of the different aspects.
Setting out on this project at the beginning, I really wanted the audio to shape around the players choice. Although nearly, I don’t think I have been as successful in this as I had hoped. The music is shaped by your actions (such as the guitar playing if you set off the alarm). But it would be nice for your choices to have real consequences sonically, and that will be something that I will hone in on next time.
This experience is in my mind a prototype for something bigger. I would like to expand this project using Unreal Engine, making it longer, offer more choice and for them choices to be a lot more devastating than they are in there current state, but I also don’t want to lose the humour.
I look at life quite lightly, and I like that to reflect in my work and writing. I don’t like to take things to seriously, myself least of all. And I think this sensibility comes through in my work. I like the idea that the game knows it is a game, and I can’t help but to poke fun at it. I think that there is a lot more room for this kind of humour pushing the game forward.
The narrator/ your brain being a character in itself was derived from a game called disco Elysium. In that game you play as a detective who got so drunk he lost his memory, and every aspect of his brain is a character that you can spend points on upgrading, for example your vitality or your strength are all characters. I loved taking that idea on. And I look forward to expanding on it when expanding this experience in the future.
There is an optimum way of playing which allows you to experience everything.
Just make sure you chose:
To kiss the figure.
Do not talk to the bandits
Run straight to sanctum
 Hide behind the rock.
Shoot them
Press forward
Head for the Tavern
I hope you enjoyed your brief time with Whiskey Eye.

And that be it! Today we learned about Sirius and how it’s a white dwarf star. Also that teeny burgers apparently are slider sized and there’s no way fifteen of them would have fit in the bag the way they did.
I really like this one. The argument between Virgil and Norman managed to be interesting without overshadowing the rest of the episode and didn’t overstay its welcome. Namo, the aliens, and their ship all had great designs and some pretty epic moments. The alien’s arrogance even when they were being manipulated was an entertaining character trait. Namo’s lack of much characterization was a pity but he at least got to do a lot of cool stuff and him potentially still having that power leads to a lot of interesting potential for the future of his people as the main envoys for these aliens and wielders of their power. All in all a fun episode of Max being a bard through and through.
Today’s episode was inspired by the set Mighty Max Takes on Terror Talon. Which despite it’s rather sparse wiki page looks to have been on of the larger sets, on par with Skull Mountain, Dragon Island, and Magnus.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s a bit hard to read since I couldn’t find good shots of the comics but the general plotline is still there. Aliens have invaded and are stealing nuclear waste while destroying anything in its way. The real difference is that the aliens in the episode were a bit goofier and had a human ally in addition to being able to end the conflict peacefully since getting rid of the nuclear waste safely is a big goal for humanity. It really looks like they read the comic for the set and asked why everyone was so upset that nuclear waste was being stolen and wrote that story instead.
Due to shenanigan's the next liveblog will be a bit earlier in the week this time. Either Wednesday or Thursday depending on whether games are on for Thursday. That said I’ll see you lot then for the next episode of Sonic SatAM: Drood Hedge. No real idea what this one could be about. Have a good week!

Retrospective Thought: Top Ten Games of 2017
Another year goes by, and another list of games that I thought were stellar, great and splendid to play. 2016 was a pretty alright year for games, but this year, with a myriad of stellar as fuck releases? personally blew the previous year out of the water with some stellar as hell titles, new IPs or new entries in existing franchises. As good as games this year might be, 2017 was NOT without its controversy, specifically the rise of Loot Boxes(thank you EA, Activision-Blizzard). Nonetheless, without further waiting, here’s my top ten games of 2017.
10) Yakuza 0(PS4) -
I’m a huge fan of the Yakuza series, seeing it as the last bastion of good Sega Games made by Sega themselves, despite their continuation of fuckin up Sonic. Yakuza 0 is basically a prequel, set before the events of the original game and putting you in the shoes of a young Kazuma and a young Majima Goro. The action is ridiculously fun and over the top as previous entries, including a new Fighting Style that allows you to switch between styles for varying strategies against waves of foes. The story is still as crazy, funny, emotionally gripping and tense as one can get from a Crime Drama centered around the Yakuza. The characters are all larger than life, greatly developed and just a pleasure to see, whether its new guys just for this entry or returning characters at a younger period of their lives. Pick this game up if you haven’t played the Yakuza games, it’s a great starting point. Pick it up if you’re a fan of the series too.
9) Nioh (PS4/WIN) -
Tecmo Koei’s “Dark Souls” only it’s set in Feudal Japan, post Nobunaga. Originally, this title was expected to be out in 2004, but was kicked into development Hell until it’s re-announcement in 2015/16. Following the adventures of William Blake as he searches for Guardian Spirit who has been taken by the evil Edward Kelley. William meets many allies, some who may sacrifice themselves to help him help Japan’s Amrita problem. the gameplay is great and greatly fun, solid and responsive as it needs to be. It blends both the flashy badassery of Dynasty Warriors and the tense, pulse pounding grit of Dark Souls. While playing second fiddle to the gameplay and loot system, the story is delightfully cheesy and over the top, it’s hilarious in most parts and well worth getting engaged in. Buy it for your DW/DS/both DS and DW fix.
8) Resident Evil 7(PS4/WIN/XO) -
Resident Evil needed a dire rehaul, reinvention and a total reimagining from the ground up. RE6 was a dumpster filled with half ideas and lazy gameplay. Resi Evil 7 was teased, showing a rather stylistic change, possibly to jump on the hype left by Silent Hills, but nonetheless it ended up working for the better. The scares were there, more cerebral than ever whilst taking that traditional Resi Evil feel and introverting it into quite possibly the best RE game since 4. Get it if you’ve been wanting that AAA Survival horror atmosphere, definitely worth the price.
7) Pyre(WIN/PS4) -
from the developers of Bastion and Transistor, two incredibly stellar indie titles, Supergiant Games brings out Pyre this year. You are the Reader, you’re travelling with a group of exiles taking part in these “rites” to seek your freedom and return to the commonwealth. mixing parts of an adventure, an RPG and a fucking sports game of all things, these systems and mechanics are all solidly blended together in superb fashion. The story is also one to follow as well, dealing with redemption, rebellion and even death, this is a tale in which character’s mature over time, developing into whichever way you choose throughout the game. A fabulous indie game developed by a stellar indie developer, pick this up as soon as possible.
6) South Park: The Fractured But Whole (PS4/XO/WIN) -
Admittedly, I was not expecting much from this sequel, considering how great Stick of Truth was. But Whole is a fantastic follow up and quite possibly the best licensed game that I can really think of. You follow the story of the kids, Eric and co, as they decide to play Superheroes, hoping to find a lost kitty. In classic South Park style, everyone is not safe, everything WILL be mocked and made fun of, even the “Difficulty” slider is not spared from the same bout of vicious shit flinging. If you’re familiar with South Park, or at least the previous game and it’s brand of humour, then you’ll have a great time with this one, though if you don’t particularly enjoy South Park? You may want to avoid this title. Recommended for those who love offensive humour and South Park. 5) Assassin’s Creed: Origins(PS4/WIN/XO) -
Well it seems taking a year off, retooling and rebuilding the franchise has helped GREATLY with AC:O. Ubisoft are not the greatest of developers/publishers, but I commend them for actually crafting an AC experience that is on par, if not BETTER than AC2. You follow the story of Bayek, a Medjai who’s seeking out individuals of an Order after they had killed his son. While gameplay still has those “creed-isms” Such as stealth and assassinating, the combat, ranged and melee have both been redefined from the ground up for mostly better. While it has a rocky beginning, the story for the most part is damn great, with some really impactful moments here and there, the dynamic between Bayek and his wife ground themselves in a relatable way, giving the series another “good” protagonist in a sea of “bad” ones. If you’re a fan of the series, be wary of the changes to combat, but for the most part you will love it. Buy it to see how an open world is done right. 4) Pokemon Ultra Sun/Moon(3DS) -
Sun and Moon are great pokemon titles and even good games in their own right, but their “updated” iterations make a good game fantastic. Sure, it’s really a remake, but the added stuff is enough to give a second journey through Alola. More pokes to capture, wider selection of wild pokes in the earlier game, new forms and even new pokes add a much meatier experience on the gameplay side of it whilst the story is vastly improved on with added scenes and characters, giving the UBs more importance helps to make their inclusion not so last minute. While it may be harder to recommend to a passing fan, it’s definitely worth picking up if you’re a pokefan through and through. 3) Injustice 2(PS4/WIN/XO) -
I loved the original Injustice, even its mishaps, heck Mortal Kombat X was one of my GoTYs for 2015, and I still adore that game/series now. Injustice 2 takes a hard long look at it’s predecessor, looks at its shortcomings and decides to get rid of them, for better or for worse. IJ2 is a vast improvement by definition, more varied selection of fighters to choose from, a better written story plus a Villain that will make you go “Holy shit that’s dope” trust me on that. The game picks up from the last title; Batman is now running things after Dictator Chairman Supes is now put in a cell of kryptonite, whilst Supergirl wants to go rescue her cousin, Earth is in peril by the invading Brainiac, a Krypton Super-Computer who wants to collect all knowledge. The gameplay takes some elements from MKX and even improves upon them, especially the added loot system, giving you that chance to customise how your favourite DC Fighter(or Hellboy/MK/TMNT Fighters, yes even Hellboy and the Ninja Turtles are in this, take that MVC:I!). Varied roster, solid gameplay and a story that doesn’t have any right being as good as it is, a must buy for Fighting Game and DC Comics enthusiasts. 2) Persona 5(PS4) -
The Persona franchise is one of those JRPG franchises that you either love or hate, I love it if you haven’t read my review on Persona 5. The fifth(Main line, that is) in the super popular gem that is Persona is a fantastic, well written piece of JRPG goodness with music that will blow your socks off, and a story that’s goofy, hilarious yet serious, dramatic and engrossing all packed together neatly. The gameplay while standard Turn Based affair is so solid and fun and with a surprising amount of choice, since you can potentially recruit enemy personas to your team. Each character grows and develops throughout the story, with tragedy and hope mixed in to give you a sorta mix of Persona 3 dark and Persona 4 lightheartedness, and that’s a good thing. Quite possibly my favourite JRPG of this by a huge, wide and long road between the other stuff. Recommend whether you’re new or a veteran to this series, god damn play this game now! Honourable Mentions: In no particular order, here’s a few honourable titles that I loved but haven’t included in my main top ten. Tekken 7, Yakuza Kiwami, Battlechasers: Nightwar, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, Evil Within 2, Middle Earth: Shadow of War, Gravity Rush 2, Horizon Zero Dawn. 1) NieR: Automata -
This game...this game is why I love games, stories and music, all in one. A fantastic experience from start to finish, a rollercoaster of emotions whilst using gameplay in conjunction with narration and to break the fourth wall on multiple occasions. You play as 2B and 9S, androids that are fighting the Machine menace to save the earth for humanity, by destroying them to pieces and dodging and moving through bullet hell like segments and even Shmup segments too. Seems standard affair right? Well the story really _really_ slowly reveals itself, giving even development to the bosses and enemies you face, no major character here is one note, at all. Platinum Games managed to get one thing they could never quite master right; an engaging, dramatic and heartfelt story/narration. Execution is far from perfect, but this game is so near perfect it deserves to be played by everyone. The music? There’s a few refrains and already established tracks from the previous game, but why fix something if it ain’t broken right? The music is heartfelt and really emotionally heavy. Yoko Taro is truly the Madman of Video Games. But his mad genius is executed for the most part, really great. Pick this game up if you desire something memorable, meaningful and fantastic. So there’s my list, obviously this is my opinion, you may think differently, or think the same way, it’s fine, everyone’s got an opinion, but this is MY list, so don’t hate because a game I like that you don’t like is here, it’s kinda pathetic. Hopefully 2018 brings even more diamonds.

What are some other AUs you've done?
Keep in mind from the get-go that this list is probably going to be incomplete, because after this long I'm sure my partner and I have done some teeny side-stories that we've forgotten about (which is kind of sad, really). We did have a few major ones that we still enjoy, though!
They are, in no specific order:
Royal Family AU - This was a story where Fini had somehow ended up in some other zone where Knuckles' family was a monarchy, whom Fini ended up working for. The family had a lot of unhealed wounds and dysfunction that Fini ended up caught in the middle of -- meanwhile, neighboring nations presented external problems of their own. And all the while Fini is struggling to help however he can, he's also trying to find a way home! This one's actually one of my favorites we've ever done, because it has a lot of hat tips to canon but it still branches way out on its own so much that I've seriously considered trying to turn it into an original story. Hopefully mine would turn out better than 50 Shades.
Vampires AU - In this continuity, Knuckles belongs to a family of paranormal detectives that specialize in hunting down otherworldly creatures that present a threat. Knuckles, freshly emancipated and sent into the world to work on his own, is investigating a vampire attack in a small village... which leads him to the mysterious scientist Dr. Finitevus, who lives alone in a manor just outside of town. This story went so well that we actually revisited it in a second part.
--Alternate Timeline AU - This one probably relies the most heavily on the notion that Fini is the same incarnation that my partner plays in our main RP, as his relationship with Knuckles is a critical motivation for his actions. Anyway, in this story, Fini awakens one day to find himself in the middle of the woods for some reason -- and there's a distant noise of someone crying. When he investigates, he finds a small puggle, frightened and very hungry. Upon asking the child's name, he's shocked to hear that the boy's name is... Knuckles! In this AU, Fini repeatedly finds himself sent back in time to key points in Knuckles' life, whereupon he discovers he can stop or change events that he knows are coming. This AU is moreso a series of smaller one-shot games where Fini does his best to steer Knuckles' life in a direction that allows him to have the things he'd been deprived of in his own timeline. However, in doing so, the alternate history ends up creating some new troubles of its own.
Chaotix AU - Sadly, this one never had a real conclusion, as we just sort of trickled off from it. The premise here is a divergence from the direction our main RP took when Knuckles decided to go back to Fini and stay with him. Instead, we decided to see what would happen if it was the other way around, and Fini decided to stay with Knuckles -- and, subsequently, the rest of the Chaotix.
Sirens AU - Also one of my absolute favorite stories, also one that went so well we did a second story, and also one that's so damn good I'm giving real, serious consideration to translating it to another media. In this story, Fini is a marine biologist that's just starting a new teaching job in an island community, and he's surprised to find that the locals all have some very serious fears of so-called "sirens," which he quickly dismisses as superstition. This all changes one night when he discovers what appears to be a young man in the water just outside of his estate...
"Gulliver" AU - The original premise of this one was to have Fini repeatedly hopping from zone to zone trying to get back to his own (kinda like the show Sliders), but I got carried away with the world building in the very first zone (which I loosely based on Gulliver's Travels) and we've just sorta stuck with it because it's working. In any case, Fini is in the wrong zone, but in this AU he's not in a terribly huge rush to get back just yet because his curiosity's running wild. It's got a lot of traditional fantasy story basics (different fantasy races, types of magic, etc) interlaced with a few Gulliver elements, in addition to me just plain making shit up.
Pets AU - At last, a story where both Fini AND Knuckles are displaced from their zone! This story relies on Knux and Fini being the same characters from our main RP, and it follows the usual wrong-zone pattern: They awaken one day in an unfamiliar environment and wondering how the hell they got there. Upon trying to warp home, they discover that none of their chaos abilities are working, so they set off trying to find civilization to figure out the next step. As it turns out, the first people they find are overlanders -- and they get captured to be sold as rare, exotic pets! The bulk of this story revolves around Knux and Fini trying to get by without their abilities and find a way to escape.
IN ADDITION, I have a couple of AUs that aren't even based on Knux and Fini. In these stories, I play Sally instead.
Fallout: New Mobius AU - I'm sure lots of you are familiar with @fini-mun's Fallout-based Sonic comic. I dig it so much I of course just HAD to RP in that continuity, and I kinda-sorta adopted Fini-mun's version of Sally but not exactly. She is still from a vault, but this version doesn't retain the calm, calculating nature that Sally usually has. Having grown up as the Overseer's daughter, Sally was not well-liked by her peers at all, and with her father typically too busy to spend time with her, this version is a very quiet people-pleaser that badly lacks self-confidence. Sadly, Sally's life gets turned upside down when the vault stages an uprising and murders her father -- and intends to kill her as well to prevent her from following in his footsteps. Sally barely makes it out of the vault alive, but now has to face the unforgiving nature of the wasteland, which chews up and spits out so many wanderers far tougher than herself. This AU was going well, but we shelved it indefinitely because we wanted to get back to other stories. Hopefully one day we'll pick it back up again, because I liked where it was going!
Undertale AU - Somehow I didn't even notice that both of the RPs where I play Sally are based on other video games. OH WELL. This RP has followed the general story line of Undertale pretty well so far, but Sally herself has definitely been the most intriguing aspect of this game. Like the Fallout AU, she's not at all like her canon self; in addition to being much younger, this version of Sally has an veeeery aggressive personality. She has an EXTREMELY short temper and has almost no ability to trust others, insisting that people are "fake" and "pretending to be nice." Her extreme anger fits frequently cause her to scream, throw things, kick things, slam doors... and despite all this, so far she's managed to take the pacifist route. Her character growth throughout this RP has been outrageously satisfying to watch, and I think this'll prove to be another one of my all-time favorite AUs. This game is still in progress, so as of this writing, I don't know how it's going to end!
AAAAAND I think that’s all the major AUs I can think of. If I realize I’ve left something out, I’ll try to remember to make another post to add it in.

Soulcalibur VI review | Rock Paper Shotgun
Developer: Bandai Namco Studios Writer: Bandai Namco Leisure
Launch: Out now On: PC From: Steam Value: £50, $60, €60
That is Hooves. He likes to stab and parry and slash and communicate in an alien tongue about how good he’s in any respect of these issues. Hooves additionally enjoys setting people on hearth, and paralysing individuals with horrifying runes, which has led some observers (me) to dub him “Horse Geralt” after the hero of The Witcher three. Unbeknownst to Hooves, he is a clone of the Witcher. That’s proper, poor horsey doesn’t even know who daddy is.
Though this backstory of Hooves’ is my very own dumb invention, it’s no extra fanciful than any of the opposite tales in preventing sport Soulcalibur VI, a rampant, fun-loving area of swordplay and silliness.
To get one thing out of the way in which: I’m a preventing video games dabbler. An indignant wee toad, not a champion. I wouldn’t swear on a replica of Road Fighter II in court docket, however I benefit from the odd bust-up in Tekken 7 or For Honor or Absolver. There’s a tense satisfaction in memorising the appropriate button-slaps for a vaulting deathkick or a flurry of needle-like pokes. And much more satisfaction in stunning your self, and finishing up these dance-like combos in the course of sloppy battle towards some nervy skeleton in a giant costume. However extra on the odd warriors of this explicit preventing sport in a second. First, we should contemplate the constancy of its stabbing. That’s crucial.
The fundamentals are easy sufficient. There are horizontal assaults, vertical assaults, kicks and a guard button. It’s simple stuff, largely. Every character’s movelist is split into totally different pages. A single web page provides you all their predominant assaults: the slashes and lunges and heelstomps you’ll discover most helpful. It’s a strong introduction to every swordsperson. Maxi is a dandy who likes to hit individuals with nunchaku, for instance, after which he does a somersault, most likely from pleasure. Xianghua is a lady with a wobbly sword. She is blood kind B, and likes to carry out the next strikes: murdering you.
There’s additionally an honest tutorial constructed into the “Libra of Soul” mode. This can be a sort-of-RPG through which you journey round a map preventing pc enemies for factors. It’s largely good for studying the fundamentals by preventing an AI sensei early within the journey, who tells you the best way to parry correctly. All these educating strategies and coaching modes make the sport really feel like a great place to shuffle into the Soulcalibur world, and for a Tekken boy like me, that’s largely true. However being a Tekken boy, I’m additionally immunised towards a sure flaw of 3D fighters: terrible storytelling.
The story mode here’s a dangerous anime folded upon itself a number of occasions, like a soggy origami crane. Every character will get their very own paper sculpture of cringey dialogue and scatterbrained plot on prime of the vanilla marketing campaign. For loreheads, perhaps there’s something in these tales, however there wasn’t for me. And I’m guessing even followers care little about Xianghua’s quest for the sword of legend, or Kilik’s quest for the sword of legend, or Taki’s quest for the– you get the concept. The actual thrill is within the sidestep, the parry, the launcher.
Right here’s the place it will get complicated. Coming from Tekken or Road Fighter, the hidden sport of rock-paper-scissors-guard-throw-break-parry-reversal-counter leaves me a bit feverish. In multiplayer, the sport throws all its weight at you quickly sufficient. Making an attempt to take care of the onslaught, I delved deeper into the coaching modes, and shortly lumps of jargon have been sticking to my eyelids like gore. Deadly hits, guard impacts, reversal edge, run counters, soul cost, reverse impacts. Razzle dazzle preventing sport terminology. It’s nothing a diehard biffer received’t have the ability to swallow in a single gulp, however a slowpoke similar to I wants a little bit of time to sup.
However studying is nice. And you may solely actually study within the ring. Right here, glowing results and pop-up notes spotlight the risks. I do know when Nightmare (giant, impolite man whose solely good friend is a sword with a watch) spouts flames that he’s charging up an unblockable assault. I do know when Seong Mi-na (unremarkable lady everybody within the village needs to marry) twirls her pointy Guandao above her head that she is “soul charged” and can now do extra-damaging strikes. I do know when Cervantes (zombie pirate and creator of Don Quixote) strikes me with a crimson slash it means a “reversal edge”.
This can be a good ‘un, the previous reversal edge. It’s a cinematic second through which every participant has to decide to a single assault, or carry out a feisty dodge. It’s nice stuff, particularly whenever you each go for a similar transfer, clanging off one another and leaping again in a panic, earlier than taking yet another hectic guess. It’s a bit extra sophisticated than rock, paper, scissors. However mainly: a sideways slice will beat somebody attempting to kick you, a kick will beat somebody attempting to hack into you with a vertical hit, and a vertical chop will beat somebody swinging from the facet.
However when this and different strikes are all combined collectively by a well-trained participant, I fall to items. Which means two issues: I have to get higher. And that is extra sophisticated than it first seems to be.
Right here’s the place the “fight classes” are neat. These are small “the best way to” manuals for every assassin. They’re dry textual content dumps however in addition they break down the essential technique for every character. I thumbed by the recommendation for stick-swinging Kilik, for instance, and discovered the best way to maintain foes at vary with a handful of staple strikes: extensive, sweeping swings of his bo employees. Positive sufficient, after I went into an actual battle with that mentality, it labored. Wanting by Horse Geralt’s fight classes, I see that some strikes whip out his silver sword, which does extra harm to opponents pumped stuffed with soul cost. In different phrases, a great way to place down a raging bull of a participant.
These are the small print you usually have to search for in YouTube movies stuffed with impenetrable chess-like notations. I like these movies, however I’m glad to have some fundamentals defined within the sport itself, as a result of I’m an fool. 4 paragraphs in the past I wrote a couple of Guandao. I had no concept it was known as that. I needed to look it up by googling “chiense spear” [sic].
However I’ve been dancing across the true great thing about Soulcalibur VI lengthy sufficient. The character creator is the true star of this sport. It’s a feast of potentialities, providing you a bunch of fantasy races to base your character on, then forcing you to repeat and paste the preventing model of a predominant character into their slider-born physique. I’ve made a complete gang of lizard lads, and photographed them as in the event that they have been indulging in some reptilian stag do. I’ve created total Halloween boybands, mummies in waistcoats, orcs in hotpants, a skeleton with a bandana.
But all that is nothing in comparison with the hideous creativeness of the internet-at-large. Any individual has made Marge Simpson. Any individual made a Xenomorph. There’s Zoidberg and The Hulk and “Sexy Venom”. There are such a lot of good issues. Right here is Spiderman preventing a fully-functioning Magikarp.
The moment-to-moment preventing is robust stuff. While you and an opponent get right into a string of blocks and geese and parries, it takes on the power of a lethal tennis rally, and that’s all I actually demand from a preventing sport: a handsome injection of adrenaline. But it surely’s the preposterous and fantastic character creator that makes the entire thing stand out, offering sufficient daftness to take the sting of that adrenal hit. For lengthy stretches, I put aside the shoulder-hunching stress of ranked mode and simply frolicked in informal rooms, preventing shapeshifters and stone individuals and elves and inappropriately proportioned rabbit girls. Though, that model of fighter isn’t restricted to participant creations.
Leeriness is hard-coded into this sport. Girl swordsters duel with boobs akimbo, nipples perking by their leotards, asses clamouring to flee the claustrophobic boundaries of a HD monitor. Pull off the appropriate strikes and you’ll hit your opponent so arduous that their garments come off or deteriorate, and although this impacts all fighters, it’s arduous to not elevate a sceptical eyebrow at such a schoolboy characteristic, seemingly designed to let gamers lech a glimpse at Sophitia’s sideboob. None of this takes away from the clashing of spear and dagger, the standard of the preventing itself, however it nonetheless feels immature and embarrassing.
This lizard with a dick is ok although.
In all, I’m happy by my scrappy fights, and my tutelage of Hooves the horse man continues. One unhappy factor to notice is that £50 is a excessive worth, a fandom worth, and that’s a pity. As a result of the character creator, thorough tutorials and RPG-ish story modes are an open-armed invitation to people who would possibly usually run away from preventing video games with their arms flailing. I think about lapsed followers too, these bizarre vampires and demons and nightmarish Sonics would possibly assume to themselves: “I used to like Soulcalibur. Possibly I might…” However then they’ll see the worth tag, and all that good will and Dreamcast nostalgia will vanish like a closed browser tab.
If that’s you, I can’t blame you. You could possibly purchase a smelly armchair from Greg down the highway for £50, and also you’d most likely get simply as a lot adrenaline and problem from getting that into your third flooring house as you’ll preventing one other terrifying Voldo to the demise. However the second this goes on sale, good friend, the very second it drops its guard – you slice open your pockets and let it bleed. Since you’ll by no means have a good friend like Hooves.

Skullcandy Indy Evo True Wireless Earphones Review
Skullcandy Indy Evo True Wireless Earphones Detailed Review
Does this really work the perfect pair of wireless earphones? (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Skullcandy's earphones and headphones are regularly remarkable and revolutionary, for reasons, for example, styling and includes. Regularly, you'll see splendid hues and courageous plans on a Skullcandy headset, or highlights that no other brand would even consider, such the tangible bass slider on the Skullcandy Crusher ANC. In spite of the fact that the run of the mill audiophile may peer down on Skullcandy, I've generally discovered its character rather charming. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); The organization rushed to the genuine remote game both in India and abroad, and now has three of its actual remote headphone arrangement accessible in India - Push, Indy, and Sesh. Today, I'm investigating another item in the Indy extend: the Skullcandy Indy Evo. Estimated at Rs. 5,999, the Skullcandy Indy Evo challenges the developing rivalry in the mid-run fragment, including my present top pick estimated under Rs. 10,000, the Lypertek Tevi. Discover all that you have to think about the Skullcandy Indy Evo in this survey. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
Secure and agreeable fit on the Skullcandy Indy Evo
Like the Skullcandy Indy which is the replacement of, the Indy Evo has an in-channel fit, with stems for the amplifiers and charging contact focuses. The styling is exemplary Skullcandy. Albeit plastic, the earpieces of the Skullcandy Indy Evo feel very much fabricated, and the unobtrusive components of the mechanical plan, for example, the content on the earpieces and sequential number on the charging case do make this maybe the most delightful looking pair of genuine remote headphones estimated under Rs. 10,000.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
The design of the Skullcandy Indy Evo pieces was what I wanted. It was perfect. The in-trench ear tips and ear were agreeable and secure, guaranteeing legitimate clamor segregation. Indeed, even with a moderate degree of action (rapidly scaling and down stairways, for instance), the earpieces stayed safely set up in my ears and didn't should be corrected. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); The charging instance of the Skullcandy Indy Evo is neither too little nor excessively enormous and has an attractive top and USB Type-C port for charging. The earpieces lock set up attractively and stay safe. The headphones turn themselves now and again naturally on setting them in or eliminating them from the charging case. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Contact controls on the headphones function admirably, and it's conceivable to control playback, volume, calls, surrounding sound mode, your voice aide, and equalizer presets all from the headphones legitimately through simple motions. Equalizer change is a fascinating touch, with three modes — digital broadcast, film, and music — with the sound explicitly set up for each utilization case. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); There is an application for the Skullcandy Indy Evo, however, it doesn't do a lot and you could simply utilize the headphones without it. The application gives a snappy instructional exercise to the motion controls and afterward lets you switch surrounding mode or see what equalizer mode is dynamic, however, does nothing else of any noteworthiness.
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
Like other Skullcandy headsets, the Indy Evo underpins Tile following. When set up with the Tile application, you can follow the area of every earpiece independently through the application and furthermore cause them to blare noisily to assist you with discovering them on the off chance that you've lost them someplace close by. The usefulness is essential, yet it may be valuable for a few.

The Skullcandy Indy Evo utilizes Bluetooth 5 for availability, with help for just the essential SBC codec; the absence of help for AAC at this cost is somewhat frustrating. I experienced some network issues with the headphones when tuning in to music, with the sound sometimes skipping or quieting for a small amount of a second despite the fact that the telephone and headphones were all near each other. This happened when matched with two separate Android cell phones, however not with a MacBook Air, and was fixed by killing the headphones and on once more. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); The headphones are fueled by 6mm drivers, with a recurrence reaction scope of 20-20,000Hz. The business bundle incorporates two sets of 'soundness ear gels' (the winged tips for a safe fit), three sets of silicone ear tips, and a USB Type-C link for charging. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Fast charge of the earpieces inside the case is maintained, and two hours of tuning are included in the Skullcandy Indy Evo and brief charge of the case enough to top up the earpieces for two hours of tuning in too. The earpieces ran for barely five hours on a solitary charge, with the case including four extra charges for an aggregate of around 25 hours of listening for every charge cycle. That is about normal for genuine remote headphones in this value section. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
Nothing extraordinary about the sound on the Skullcandy Indy Evo
Skullcandy's moderate and mid-go earphones and headphones have only from time to time agreeably astounded me, however I've generally not been baffled either. The Skullcandy Indy Evo is the same; it's a useful pair of headphones that avoids any and all risks with regards to sound quality. There's nothing amiss with the sound, however there's nothing especially essential about it either. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Besides, restricting these headphones to the SBC Bluetooth codec additionally appeared to have affected sound quality. The Skullcandy Indy Evo should have given a little boost in sound and detail to the AAC codec support. All things considered, the sound is sufficiently pleasant, and great detached clamor segregation guarantees a respectable enough listening experience.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); In the case of tuning in to high-goal sound or average packed streams, the Skullcandy Indy Evo sounded to a great extent the equivalent. Indeed, even excellent Dolby Atmos Music tracks didn't appear to have any effect; this shouldn't be an issue in case you're accustomed to tuning in to essential streaming sound or compacted chronicles, however the Skullcandy Indy Evo isn't the ideal pick for clients who have a decent sound assortment to work with.
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
Tuning in to Must Be The Love by Arty and Nadia Ali, the Skullcandy Indy Evo's sonic mark end up being incredibly 'safe', adhering to the normal V-molded sound that suits most well-known music types today. The sound was noisy and punchy, with a positive predisposition towards the lows and highs. The sub-bass frequencies specifically sounded more articulated, however the lows held tight and consistently sounded refined as opposed to tyrannical. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); In spite of the fact that the sound is perfect and agreeable, the Skullcandy Indy Evo misses the mark with regards to detail. The soundstage additionally felt somewhat tight and marginally went past the essential sound system partition. One of my preferred tracks to test detail and soundstage with is Love by Moullinex, and it just sounded somewhat plain, with these headphones not figuring out how to conquer the restricted capacities of the SBC codec. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
A portion of the amazing interchange between the two channels that can be heard with more point by point earphones and headphones was missing on the Indy Evo the sound felt like it was originating from right on instead of mimicking a more extensive 'phase' of sorts. In spite of the fact that there were events when detail had the option to push through, this was more to the credit of the chronicle itself, instead of the headphones. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); For calls, the Skullcandy Indy Evo works fine and dandy. There are no extra highlights, for example, natural clamor wiping out, yet the uninvolved commotion confinement and receivers worked proficiently enough to guarantee great sound on the two finishes of the call for me.
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
Decision
The Skullcandy Indy Evo is an altogether standard pair of headphones. Indeed, the fit is incredible, the controls are helpful, and the bass is tight, yet these aren't reasons that anybody would normally pick a couple of genuine remote headphones over another for. Where it truly matters — that is, sound quality and highlights — the Indy Evo pretty much arrives at a state of worthiness, however, goes no further. You won't be disillusioned with these headphones, yet you won't be especially excited either. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); The Skullcandy Indy Evo just checks the fundamental boxes and doesn't generally go past that, not at all like the fantastic Lypertek Tevi which remains our top pick for under Rs. 10,000. Consider the Skullcandy Indy Evo just in case you're a devotee of the brand, or organize a protected fit and styling regardless of anything else. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Value: Rs. 5,999
