You, Me, and a Baby Makes Three
Thayne Jasperson x Reader
Modern rpf
Requested by @arosebloomsonbakerstreet
1-53: Guess who’s going to be a father?
Request: I have to make a request for a thayne x reader fic for the 'guess who's going to be a father?' prompt. Mostly since the thought of him finding out as a special announcement after a Hamilton performance sends my little fangirl heart into all states of squee! Bonus points if 'That Would Be Enough' is used in the announcement in some way. :D
A/N: So…I’m guessing this isn’t at all what was expected from this request. To be honest, this isn’t my initial plan for a plot. But I think this plot is fairly good. It fits with the request but in a different way. But since it goes in a unique direction, I hope this is still what you wanted from this request, even though it does stray from the request slightly. And I hope you all enjoy this imagine!

If someone had asked you at the start of all this, you wouldn’t say you loved Thayne. Sure, he was nice and you liked him. You found him attractive and nice and funny. But you didn’t love him. There just wasn’t that kind of connection. But sometimes alcohol makes you think that there is a connection.
The whole cast of Hamilton was going out for drinks. It was a typical night out, jokes and memories made. And alcohol was consumed. As the night came to an end, your friends were varying levels of sobriety. You were a little tipsy and had drove over to the bar anyway. You needed to call a cab. “Hey, Thayne?” The cast member in question turned to look at you. “You wanna split the cost of an Uber?” The two of you lived fairly close to each other and this method had been used before.
“Yeah, sure.” He agreed with a bright smile. The two of you were driven to your apartment, where you exited. Thayne would often walk to his house from your house.
“You sure you wanna walk home? You can crash here.” You offered. Thayne pondered it. He checked the time on his phone.
“It is kinda late. I’ll crash on your couch if you don’t mind.” He said.
“Sure, come on in.” So you opened the door a let Thayne in. Still a little tipsy, you rummaged for blankets and pillows. You found some and walked them over to the couch. Thayne was already sprawled out on the couch, laid on his back with one arm draped over his face. “Asleep already?” You asked.
“Nah.” He replied, but didn’t move. You sat on the coffee table near the couch, pile of bedding sat on the table next to you. You reached out and ran your fingers through his hair. It was golden and soft under your fingers. Thayne hummed softly, enjoying the feeling on your fingers and a smiled pulled at his lips. “If you keep doing that, I will fall asleep.” He commented. So you withdrew you hand.
“Let’s at least get you a pillow and a blanket before you fall asleep.” You said. He groaned but sat up and turned so he was facing you, you idly noted the lack of space between you two now. He rubbed his eyes that raked a hand through his hair haphazardly. The result was his hair being tousled and sticking up in crazy ways. You laughed at the sight. “What?” He asked with a smile of his own.
“Nothing.” You answered with a smile. “But let me fix your hair.” So you reached up once more and gently smoothed the stray hairs back down. You continued running your fingers through his hair after you finished. How had you never noticed how soft it was? A heavy silence settled. Part of your told you to give him the bedding and retreat to your room. But the tipsy part of you, felt a connection. (Later your rational brain would realize there wasn’t one.) Thayne was merely staring at you, studying you with. The expression he wore was one you had never received from him before. Want? Desire? You couldn’t place it. But it was a good expression.
You slowly leaned in, and Thayne seemed to automatically move in to do the same. You cautiously pressed your lips to his. Thayne leaned in closer. You still had a hand threaded in his hair and you used it to pull him even closer. You pulled back way too quick for your liking. “You know, it seems like such a hassle to get out blankets and pillows when my bed is large enough for both of us.” You commented, you hands were toying with the edges of a jacket Thayne had one. He smiled.
“By all means, lead the way.” He said with a smirk. You rolled your eyes but stood and grabbed his hand. You lead him to your room and right to the bed. It wasn’t long before your found yourself laid on your back with Thayne hovering over you. “You sure?” He asked. You grinned and nodded.
You were not drunk enough last night to warrant the headache you had today. You were also cold. To try and warm up, your curled up a bit more. Then you realized exactly why you were cold. You didn’t have any clothes on. Great. A one-night-stand. You silently prayed that whoever it was had left once you finished. But you couldn’t remember bringing any stranger back to your place. You shifted, pulling lightly on the covers. The resisted, meaning that someone was still here. You had your back to them. So you took a deep breath and mentally prepared yourself to see who you slept with and to ask them to leave. You sat up and turned and your brain seemed to stop working.
Thayne was laying there. He was fast sleep. The covers were draped across his stomach and his torso was bare. He obviously wasn’t wearing a shirt and you could guess what it was like under the covers as well. His hair was sticking up wildly, whether from sleep or wild sex, you weren’t sure. But you had to resist the urge to reach out and fix it. The softness of his hair was the first memory of last night to resurface. It was quickly followed by the kissing. Which lead to everything else.
You had sex with Thayne Jasperson. “Holy shit.” You said. And accidentally said it loud enough to wake up the aforementioned person. Thayne grumbled and shifted, clearly waking up. You hurried to grab the blankets and pull them up to cover your chest. Thayne opened his eyes and looked to you. His confusion was obvious. He stared at you for a minute before his eyes widened and he sat up quickly.
“Shit.” He said, being cautious about keeping the blankets firmly covering his lap. “We had sex last night.”
“Yep.” You said, equally awkwardly. Neither of you knew exactly what to say next. “Look, can you like, close your eyes for a minute? I’m going to grab clothes and go get dressed in the bathroom. While I do that, you can find your clothes from last night.”
“I mean, do I really have to close my eyes? After last night?” He asked.
“Well no, but don’t make this more awkward than it needs to be.” You pleaded.
“Fair enough, I probably would’ve closed my eyes anyway.” He said. He closed his eyes and covered them with his hands for good measures. You quickly grabbed some under garments and a tee shirt and sweatpants. You slipped out of the room and went to close the door. You paused when it was open just a sliver. “Ok, I’m out. You can get dressed.” Then shut the door.
As you got dressed you thought the night over. Why did you kiss him? You liked Thayne, but not romantically and not sexually either. At least you didn’t think so. But apparently part of you wanted him in a romantic or sexual way. He was a good friend. And you wanted him to remain that way. But that seemed unlikely now. You exited the bathroom and walked over to your bedroom door and knocked lightly. “Yeah, I’m dressed. Come on in.” He was sitting on the bed, fully clothed except for his socks which he was pulling on. “So…what now?” He asked. WIth his socks fully pulled on, he reached up and ran his fingers through his hair, pushing it to the right.
“What do you wanna do?” You asked. You wanted to forget this ever happened, but you didn’t want to offend Thayne either. You didn’t even know how he felt about this.
“Honestly? It wasn’t bad.” He commented with a  smirk. It earned a tiny smile and amused eye roll from you. “But it isn’t worth fucking up our friendship. That is way more valuable to me.” He said with a small, sincere smile. You sighed in relief.
“I feel the same way. So…can we both pretend this never happened?”
“I can if you can.” He answered.
“Good. Then we tell no one and go about our lives like it never happened. What happened last night stays between the two of us.”
“Deal.” He said.
You and Thayne easily forgot about the whole situation. You fell back into routine and your friends were none the wiser. It was great. Until it wasn’t.
You tried to tell yourself not to freak out when your period was late. It wasn’t always on time, sometimes it was a day or two late. It happened. Then it was a week late. Now it was two weeks late. And you were so fucking worried. You left rehearsal rather quickly and went to a drug store to buy a test. Hell, you bought two just so you could be sure. After an agonizing two minute wait, the first test confirmed you were pregnant. That couldn’t be right. So you tried the other test. And after waiting another eternal two minutes, you had the same results.
You leaned back against the wall in the bathroom. Then you slid down until you were sitting on the floor. You were pregnant. And Thayne was the father. So much for forgetting it ever happened. The idea of an abortion popped into your head. But there was no way you could go through something like that and keep it from Thayne. He was your closest friend. And since he was your closest friend, he knew that you hadn’t slept with anyone else lately. At least not close enough for them to be the parent of the baby. Adoption was an option, but Thayne would have to agree to that too. And you’d be pregnant for nine months.
The show! You’d have to go on maternity leave and stop performing.
“Fuck.” You mumbled to no one in particular. This was a mess.
Thayne had a right to know. But for now, you wouldn’t tell anyone. There was no sign of you showing. The only reason you knew is because you missed your period. No one else should know that. You tossed the used tests and boxes in the plastic bag you received from the drug store and tossed them in the dumpster. If your friends came over, they didn’t need to see those in the trash.
At rehearsal the next day, you watched Thayne. Usually, you were amused by his antics and behaviors. Now you studied him and tried to see him as a dad. He was joking with Jazzy and Anthony. You knew he’d care for a kid. That was obvious. But could he raise one? Could you? Were the two of you remotely ready for the responsibility? You didn’t think so. But would Thayne be willing to give up his child? Would you?
You sighed. How were the two of you going to get through this? How were you going to tell Thayne? “You ok?” Thayne asked, walking over to you.
“Yeah.” You smiled but it didn’t reach your eyes. And Thayne, being your closest friend, noticed. He gave you a questioning stare. “I’m just thinking. That’s all.” Thayne sat down next to you.
“Need a second opinion or good listener?” He asked.
“Yeah. Are you going to point me in the right direction?” You teased with a smile.
Thayne gasped dramatically and put a hand in his chest in mock offense. “And here I was, trying to be nice and helpful.” You laughed at him. Typical Thayne. Typical concerned, friendly, funny, kind Thayne. He wasn’t a bad guy. There were worse people you could’ve slept with. After all, Thayne could be easy to love. But again, there was no connection between the two of you. Even though you kinda wished there was right now. “Seriously though.” Thayne said, pulling your attention back. “Do you need to vent or want advice?”
“No, I’m good.” You said.
“You sure? You seemed really lost in your head earlier.” He was so kind and so concerned.
“I’m ok, Thayne. I promise. But thank you.” You reached out and hugged him, and he reciprocated. He was so nice. And you were gonna end up testing the boundaries of that kindness when you told him you were pregnant. You just had to figure how when and how exactly you planned to do that.
Did you need to announce your pregnancy to someone if you weren’t dating or trying to have a child together? You didn’t really feel like you needed to, but you knew Thayne would like some cute announcement. But this wasn’t exactly the happy occasion that most pregnancies were. You and Thayne shouldn’t have slept together. You and Thayne weren’t trying to have a child. This whole things was a mess and an accident.
You were constantly lost in your thoughts and Thayne noticed. He was constantly asking if you were ok. And you were constantly telling him that you were. You constantly felt guilt at not telling him the truth. You were worried about this pregnancy. And Thayne needed to know about it.
Thayne found you after rehearsal one day. “Alright, you’re coming over tonight.” He announced.
“I am?”
“Yep. You’ve been moping around and lost in your thoughts for a couple weeks now. You don’t want to tell me about it, and that’s fine. You don’t have to. But I want you to come over and relax. Take your mind off of it for a night.” He instructed.
Absentmindedly, you placed your hand on your stomach. You couldn’t turn Thayne’s plans down. He would grow even more suspicious. “Alright, Thayne. Sounds like fun.” Thayne smiled brightly.
“We’ll head over to my place whenever you are ready to leave.” Thayne said happily. So you quickly packed up and followed Thayne outside. You rode the subway and were at Thayne’s house after a very short time. You immediately dropped onto Thayne’s couch. Thayne on the other hand ran to the kitchen. He emerged a few minutes later, carefully cradling and balancing a large amount of junk food and snacks in his arms. He dropped them on the coffee table in front of the couch. “Alright. Do we want beer, wine, or some mixed drinks?” He asked, starting to head back to the kitchen.
“Uhm…can we have water or soda?” You asked instead. Thayne stopped and turned to you. His expression was pure confusion. The two of you tended to at least have a few drinks when you got together. You never got drunk, but you always had something to drink. You needed to find an excuse quickly. “It’s just…last time we had drinks it didn’t end well.” You fumbled. It wasn’t the best excuse. However, you and Thayne avoided talking about that night. So you weren’t surprised when Thayne blushed and nodded before ducking back into the kitchen. He came back with some soda and water which he also deposited on the coffee table. “There we go.” He plopped down next to you. “Dumb Netflix movies?” You nodded.
So you and Thayne ate, talked, watched movies, made fun of dumb movies. At some point you wandered to Thayne’s room and retrieved a blanket. You sat back down and shared it with Thayne. When you yawned loudly, Thayne shifted so you were both lying on the couch sideways. He was behind you with an arm wrapped around your waist to keep you safely on the couch. This type of closeness wasn’t unusual for you two. However, you couldn’t help but think it was different now.
You both drifted off while you laid on the couch. At some point you both shifted. When Thayne woke up he was lying on his back on the couch You were more or less on top of him. He felt his cheeks heat and turn slightly pink, but he made no move to push you off. You were comfortable and sound asleep as well. He didn’t mind at all.
You had been so distant lately, stuck in your own mind. Thayne desperately wanted to know why. But you didn’t seem inclined to tell him, which was your right. He wouldn’t push you. However, you never kept anything significant secrets from him. It wasn’t that you told him everything, but you told him a lot of things. And anything that was this important, anything that kept you lost in thought, you shared with him. He would help you. So why not now?
Thayne absentmindedly toyed with the strands of your hair. His mind kept, unfortunately, drifting back to that night. You had been playing with his hair all night. He enjoyed it. He enjoyed it a lot. He had a crush on you for a while. But you clearly didn’t care about him that way, you were friends. So he never pushed it. But he felt damn guilty about that night. He felt like he took advantage of you. You were both drunk, or at least tipsy, so maybe both of you were to blame. But Thayne would continue to feel bad about it. And shortly after that night, you started to close off and keep something from him.
For now, he figured he better sleep. He didn’t want his thoughts to be swirling and churning like they so often ended up doing. Every time he thought to his feelings or that night, things got so confusing. So he decided to just close his eyes and sleep. He did, however, tighten his hold on you slightly, doing whatever he could to keep you close.
You watched from off-stage as Thayne climbed up on his literal soap box. You watched him perform with all his heart. He loved his job. You had decided that tonight you would tell him you were expecting. It’d be hard to keep it a secret much longer anyway. You performance ended, you took your final bows. Afterwards, back off-stage, you grabbed Thayne’s sleeve. “Hey, can we talk before once we’re out of costume?” You asked.
“Of course.” He said. Thayne changed quickly, and hurried to find you. Once he found you, you had already changed your clothes. You were pacing anxiously. “You ok?” Thayne asked as he walked in.
“Oh, sorta?” It sounded more like a question. “Can you shut the door behind you?” You asked.
“Sure.” Thayne replied and did just that. He went and sat on the couch in the room. “You seem really anxious, Y/N. You can tell me anything, and I know you know that. So what’s going on?” He asked.
You wanted to sit, but you had to be moving. You had too much energy to sit still. “I uh…I wanted to talk to you. I wanna start by saying that I’ve been meaning to talk to you for a while. I just, well I didn’t know how to bring this topic up.” You sighed and anxiously raked a hand through your hair. “You had every right to know what I’m about to tell you. I didn’t really mean to keep it from you, I just…”
Thayne stood up. “You just didn’t know how to tell me.” Thayne helpfully finished for you. You nodded. You were wringing your hands together now. Thayne stepped forward and held your hands in his, keeping you from wringing them. Instead you squeezed his hands. “Y/N, just tell me what’s going on. What have you been not telling me?” His voice was so kind and gentle. You mumbled out a response but Thayne couldn’t hear you. “What?” He asked.
You sighed. You fixed your eyes firmly on your shoes. “Thayne, I’m pregnant.” It was still soft, but Thayne definitely had to hear you. He took in a sharp breath. Then his grip on your hands went slack, your hands slipped out of his grip. You chanced a look up at him. He had taken a shocked step back from you and his expression was complete and utter shock. “I…I…I don’t even know what I’m trying to say. I guess, I’m sorry. For not telling you mostly. I didn’t know how and I’m sorry.” Thayne was staring at the ground now, looking like he was trying to understand what you had said to him. You on the other hand were waiting for him to say anything. He looked up at you. He looked confused, shocked, and, above all, hurt. “Fuck, I’m so fucking sorry.” You grabbed your things and hurried out of the room. Thayne didn’t even try to stop you.
You rushed out of the room. Thayne didn’t even know what he would stay to make you stay. He dropped back onto the couch. He knew that it was his child. You hadn’t slept with anyone else that he knew of. And with what you said, he deserved to know, it was pretty obvious what it meant.
Well, fuck. They fucked up. Thayne could handle being your friend. That was easy. But he couldn’t handle raising a kid with some strange sort of shared custody. He couldn’t possibly hope to be a father and have you be a mother but not be anything more. Then Thayne thought of something. Did you even want to keep the kid? It wasn’t up to Thayne, it was up to you what they did.
Why did they have sex? Why did you get into this mess? He wanted to raise that kid. But he wanted you to want that too. He wanted to raise the kid with you. Not alongside you. Not with shared custody or anything like that. He wanted to raise their kid with you. But what did you want?
Thayne sighed. The only way to handle this was to talk. A conversation that clearly neither of you were equipped for. Thayne only hoped he could convey exactly what he wanted. But he still had to figure out exactly what he wanted and how to explain it. He decided to walk to a nearby store and purchase chocolate. Then he got a cab and went to your house. He hesitantly knocked.
You opened the door. Your hair was wild and you eyes were red and wet. You had been crying. “Hey.” He said lamely. “Can I come in?” You hesitated. You wanted to slam the door in his face and lock him out until you calmed down. But damn, you needed to talk. You held the door open and let him in. You went to your couch and sat down, you wrapped yourself in a blanket and curled up. You tried to make yourself small and secure. Thayne reached into his bag and held out a chocolate bar with a smile.
You let out a small, surprised laugh. “Thanks. Always thoughtful.” You said with a smile.
“Of course.” He replied. He sat on the opposite side of the couch. He sat facing you, and sat with his legs criss-crossed like a child sits on the floor. “So…we gotta talk.”
“Yeah, I guess…” You toyed with the edge of the blanket. “Do you want an explanation for why I didn’t tell you or…”
Thayne dismissively waved a hand. “Nah. I understand why you waited to tell me. Why it was hard for you to tell me. But there is something I do want to know.” You stared at him, waiting for him to say exactly what that was. “What do you want to do about this?”
You blinked. You hadn’t actually expected this. You thought this would be screaming and fighting and defending your own points. But…Thayne was curious about your wants. “I…I don’t know, Thayne.”
“Ok…uhm…do you want to raise this child? Or…” He hesitated. “Do you want to put the kid up for adoption? Or…what other options are there?”
“Are we even ready to raise a child? Either of us?” You asked. Thayne hung his head. You assumed his was thinking, letting the truth of your statement sink in. However, he was dejected that this was a situation in which the two of you were separate. Neither of you were ready to raise a child, Thayne knew that. But what if you were a unified force?
“Maybe not.” Thayne agreed. “But…” Again he hesitated. “Look, if you don’t want to raise…our child, then I will.”
You stared at him with wide eyes. “You…You will?” You stuttered.
Thayne shrugged a smiled a little. “Yeah. It’s terrifying, sure. But that’s my kid. It was my actions that brought this kid into existence, so I’m partially responsible. And I’ve sorta always wanted to be a dad.” It was gonna break his heart to raise a child without you to help him, but it would have to be done.
“But…by that logic I’m also responsible too. I mean, obviously we’re both responsible. But all the duty shouldn’t fall on you.”
“I’m not saying that. I’m just will to accept that responsibility.” Thayne commented with a shrug.
“Thayne, I don’t want to get rid of this child.” You laid a hand on your stomach. “But I’m not sure I’m ready for one.”
“Me either, certainly not alone.” He said before he could stop himself. “What if we tried it together?”
“Like, shared custody?” You asked.
Thayne let out a frustrated noise and ran a hand through his hair. “Not…exactly. Something…more…” Thayne kept searching for the right way to phrase it. He didn’t want to come on too strong, but he wanted you to finally see his side of things. “Structured?” He ventured. You gave him a confused look, clearly not understanding him. “Fine, I’ll just say it then. A family.” He sighed. “You, me, and a baby makes three.” He shrugged.
“No.” You shook your head. Thayne tried not to let the way his heart shattered show. “Look, us working together might be the best solution. But we can’t be a family. I don’t want to be a family just because of this child. It will only make matters worse and end poorly in the future.”
“Oh.” Thayne squeaked out, realizing why you bluntly shot him down. “Y/N, I don’t want to…” He slowed. Well, time for the truth to come out. He took a deep breath. “I don’t want to have a family with you only because of this child. But that’s an unforeseen bonus.” He scooted closer to you. “I’ve uh, I’ve had a massive crush on you for a while. The night we slept together still bothers me. I mean, I sorta feel like I took advantage of you.”
“Thayne, we both consented to that. Albeit, we were slightly tipsy, but I think we were clear enough to know what we were getting into.”
“True, but I’ll still feel guilty.” He said with a small smile.
“Wait.” You stopped him from saying more. “You have a crush on me?”
Thayne’s smile grew. “Yeah. I know this is totally sudden. Have I really hid it that well?” He asked doubtfully. So you thought, really thought, about it.
“Wow.” You said in realization. “I’m dense.”
“Look, we got a few months here before our lives change forever. And I know that a few months isn’t enough time to know for sure whether we can make a relationship last. But it can give us a good idea of how well we work together. In the few months we have, can we maybe try dating, see how it goes? Maybe it will end horribly, then we can come up with a new plan. But, what if it ends wonderfully? Isn’t that worth trying? Give me a shot. Give us a shot at having a family.” He urged. His voice never changed from his soft and caring tone, except maybe sneaking a little pleading in there. He smirked. “That would be enough.” He sang.
You burst out laughing. You think Thayne’s smile at your laughter was the brightest smile you’d ever seen from him. “That’s better.” Thayne remarked about you laughing instead of moping. You smiled at Thayne and considered his offer. He always loved you. Did you always love him? You would’ve said no earlier. Thayne was trying not to fidget. “Look, Y/N, I don’t mean to pressure you. But I’d like to have some sort of answer.”
You smiled and leaned in and kissed him softly. It was much better than your tipsy kiss. Thayne practically melted into the kiss, and against you. His lips slipped into a smile even as you kissed. It caused a smile to pull at your lips as you pulled away. “Not that I didn’t really enjoy that, but should we slow things down?” Thayne asked.
“Thayne, we already spend time together in things that are practically dates. And we’ve also already slept together. I think kissing is just fine.” You reasoned.
“Well then, I’m not opposed to do it again.” He said with his bring smile. He captured your lips with his once more.
Thayne was overly ecstatic at the prospect of being a father. It wasn’t long before you started planning to announce to the cast that you were expecting. Thayne wanted it to be cute announcement. You pooled your paychecks and got a new place to live. Two bedrooms. Next you started looking into what furniture you needed for a child.
It wasn’t long before your relationship with Thayne became known among the cast. It was after a performance, the curtain fell and you gave Thayne a hug. That in itself wasn’t strange. But Thayne pulled back and kissed you soundly. You didn’t care you were at work with co-workers who were unaware of the development of your relationship. You melted into the embrace and returned the kiss willingly.
The two of you pulled apart as a low whistle sounded. You looked around Thayne and found a number of cast members (including Anthony who you suspected of whistling) staring at the two of you. There were a mix of surprised, suggestive, and questioning stares. “Uh, surprise?” You said. Luckily everyone was happy for the two of you. Shortly after was when the two of you moved into your new place together.
A few days later, Thayne found you sprawled out on the bed. “What’s wrong?” He asked. “We gotta get to work soon.”
“We need to tell the cast, Thayne.” You said, looking over at him but not sitting up on the bed.
“I know.” He said. He climbed on the bed and sat criss-cross right behind you. He re-situated both of you so your head was in his lap. “What brought this on today?” He asked, playing with your hair.
You gestured vaguely in the direction of your closet. “I have nothing to wear that doesn’t make it painfully obvious that I’m pregnant.” You complained. “I’m getting fat.”
“Oh shush.” Thayne chided lightly. “You’re beautiful.” He leaned down and pressed a light kiss to the tip of your nose. Then he got off the bed and went to the closet. The next thing you knew, a shirt landed on your face. You sat up and looked at the shirt that was tossed your way. It was one of Thayne’s. “I think that should hide the evidence.” He said. He walked forward and leaned on the bed, one hand on either side of you. He leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to your lips. He pulled away after a moment, but stayed leaning in close. “Should we tell them today?” He asked.
You sighed. “Probably. I can get away with wearing your shirt for a day. But if I started doing that indefinitely it might get a little suspicious.” You quickly shed your pajama top and tossed Thayne’s shirt on. It was large enough to hide your growing stomach. The two of your headed to work, idling still trying to come up with an announcement. You hadn’t figured out how you planned to tell the crew yet. Thayne still wanted to have a big announcement but neither of you came up with one that wasn’t cliche and that would work well with the crew. So it seemed like you’d be winging it.
You walked into the theatre with a few people making comments about you wearing Thayne’s shirt. You stopped by your dressing room, depositing your things. “Lin first?” You asked Thayne.
“Sounds like a good place to start.” So the two of you went to Lin’s dressing room. It was just your luck that Chris and Jonathan happened to be in the dressing room talking to Lin. You looked at Thayne, silently asking if you should ask them to leave. He just shrugged. After all, they’d know soon enough anyway.
“So, uh, I…or I guess we having something to say.” You awkwardly started. Damn it, why hadn’t you planned something? Jonathan, damn him, was already smirking. It seemed he had already figured it out. Chris was calculating, probably figuring it out but also seeing an issue with the fact that the two of you hadn’t been together for long. Lin was merely looking at you, waiting for you to say what you needed. “Uhm…so…” You trailed off.
Thayne wrapped his arms around your torso. “Y/N is trying to say she’s pregnant.” He said bluntly.
“Uh, yeah. That.” You said, shocked at Thayne’s bluntness. Then again, he was excited about this.
“And Thayne is…?” Chris asked. You nodded.
Jonathan’s smirk never faltered. Lin’s expression grew equally as confused as Chris’s. “Wait. You guys have only been together for a few weeks…” The question hung in the air.
“Yeah…” Thayne trailed off.
“How far along are you?” Chris asked.
“Uh…more than a few weeks.” You offered hesitantly.
Lin and Chris shared a look. They looked back to Jonathan who merely shrugged. “When the hell did this happen?” Lin asked. They weren’t mad, just confused.
“Drinks night. About two months ago.” You said with a deep blush. A quick glance at Thayne showed he was also sporting a light blush as well. The three men were silent for a moment before Lin let out a surprised chuckle. The other two men let out chuckles in response then they were laughing. The tension immediately left the room and you and Thayne chuckled too.
“Told you.” Jonathan said after the laughing subsided.
“Huh?” Thayne said.
“Oh, I tried to tell these two that there was something going on between you two long before we were told.”
“Well, it wasn’t like we were dating or—” Jonathan silenced you as he held up a hand.
“You two wouldn’t have slept together if there wasn’t something there.” He said with certainty. Thayne shrugged, which you felt due to his arms still being around him.
“Do the rest of the cast know yet?” Lin asked.
“Nope.” You said.
“You guys are the first.” Thayne added. “Who’s next?” So the two of you continued through the rest of the cast. Anthony and Jasmine congratulated the two of you. Daveed and Oak drilled you like Lin, Chris, and Jonathan had. Pippa and Renee asked all sorts of questions like if you knew the gender yet. Leslie also merely offered a heartfelt congratulations. That left the ensemble members. “Should we track them down one at a time or tell them all at once?”
At this point you were ready for this announcing thing to be over. “All at once, please?” You answered.
“Of course.” Thayne pressed a kiss to your forehead as he sensed your annoyance. “Almost done.” He commented. He detoured to the snack table to get both of you a much needed chocolate fix. You found the assembled ensemble members. “We need to talk to you guys.” Thayne announced loud enough for you to gain the attention of all the members. They turned and looked at you. Thayne gave you a glance as well. You sighed, not knowing how to tell them. Thayne read your mood well. He stood behind you with his hands on your shoulders. “Basically…guess who’s going to be a father?” He asked with a smile. You shot him a look over your shoulder. “And I suppose I should add, guess who’s going to be a mother? Guess who’s going to be parents?” He amended.
The entire ensemble was excited. You had a lot of them ask you questions but eventually you and Thayne had to pull away. You hid away in your dressing room. You collapsed on the couch in the dressing room. “That was exhausting.” You said. Thayne sat down beside you. He leaned over and laid his head in your lap. You absentmindedly toyed with his hair, pleased you could freely do so now without worrying about what would happen in response to the action.
“I hate to break it to you, Y/N, but as soon as that kid is born then things will be even more exhausting.” He commented.
You sighed, that was true. “What are we gonna do when this little one gets here?” You asked rhetorically.
“Love them.” Thayne answered anyway. “We will give them all the love we can. That’s what good parents do and that’s what makes a family.”
-Ten Years Later-
You stared at the reception hall. Ten years. Hamilton premiered ten years ago. It was a reunion of sorts. Tomorrow there would be news reporters and performances. Today, there was a gather of former cast members. Like a class reunion, but better. Cast members and their families were all getting together today. It was shaping up to be a fun night.
You walked inside. Instantly you were greeted by noise. Then, Lin walked up to you. He was so famous now. But to you, he was still a dork who wrote a Tony Award winning musical about Alexander Hamilton. He was also still your friend. You noticed his two boys running around as well, playing with the other kids present. Lin greeted you with a hug, pointed you toward the free food being offered, and invited you to mingle around with your old friends. And that’s what you did.
Main cast and ensemble members. Nearly everyone was here. Everyone was commenting how ten years ago seemed so long, yet it passed in the blink of an eye. And you couldn’t agree more. So much had happened to you in ten years. You scanned the crowd once more for blonde hair and a blinding smile. You sighed again as you failed to see it. You knew why Thayne wasn’t here. But…you had hoped.
Instead, you focused on talking to those who showed up. After all, you hadn’t seen some of these people in ten years. You were talking to Jonathon Groff, catching up with him. Then, suddenly, “Mommy!” You spun as you saw your little girl running toward you. Riley had her dad’s hair color and his bright smile. You crouched and gave her a hug. “Hi, Jonathon.” She greeted happily. Jonathan smiled and waved in response.
“Sorry we’re so late.” Thayne said, walking in behind her. He pulled you into a kiss, you couldn’t help but smile against his lips. He pulled back with a smile of his own. “Traffic is awful. But, we made it.”
“Things went ok?” You asked.
“Yep.” He said with a smile. “Ren got his booster shots and is ready for kindergarten.” Thayne said and looked to the little boy who was holding his hand. Your son. Almost a spitting image of his father. Lin greeted Thayne and your kids both. They exchanged idle chatter for a brief moment. “Hey uh Lin, there’s free food right?” You and Lin both rolled your eyes thinking back to Thayne constantly raiding the snack table at Hamilton. But Lin pointed out the table anyway. Thayne put a hand on each of your children’s shoulders. “Come on, if we hurry then your mom can’t limit how many cookies we get.” The three of them ran off before you could say anything. You just shook your head and watched them with a fond smile.
A daughter and a son. A husband too. A family. Things with Thayne weren’t immediately perfect, and you had your fights too, every couple does. But they were perfect enough for the two of you. So yes, if you had been asked in the beginning of everything if you loved Thayne; the answer would’ve been no. But if you were asked now, if you loved Thayne; yes wouldn’t be enough to properly explain just how much you loved him.

He knows my love
Jon Rua x Alyssa (my oc) warning- angst, swearing, mentions of sex, mentions of anxiety, fighting (not physical), mentions of self-harm, suicide, and abuse   summary- Alyssa and Jon are in a secret relationship. Alyssa being Thayne's little sister isn’t allowed to date his friends no matter who it is notes- so this is based off of my Wattpad book but I won’t be using this idea for when thayne finds out:)
Alyssa’s pov: I laid in Jon’s bed with my anxiety high. Thayne decided he would stop by Jon’s. It had been a year and a half since Jon and I started dating. This also meant that Averie and Thayne had been dating for a year and a half as well. He thought I didn’t know about them but I did. I laid completely still and tried not to move a muscle. My whole relationship with Jon had been based around lies, sneaking around, late nights, sneak always, family visits, code words, different languages, and just secrets. Of course to Thayne. Boys would try and hit in me and Jon couldn’t do anything about it. He had to sit back and watch. It annoyed the shit out of him. Which meant late-night fucks. No mercy, covered in hickeys, couldn’t walk the next day, Jon wearing his signature smirk the next morning. Jealousy at an all-time high because no one knew about us. Thayne included. Going to Nick Jonas’s show and performing songs with him. Jealous and Chains. Made Jon so jealous to the point after the show he wouldn’t talk to me. So for Thayne to be here when he doesn’t know I’m here is just peer anxiety. I heard their conversation. Thayne asking questions about when he gets to meet his girlfriend. Not knowing that he already knew her. I grabbed my phone and put it in Do not disturb. I sighed. This was the worst thing ever. Jesus, I wish I would die right here and now. But no I’m being put through this anxiety-ridden game of when is Thayne going to find out that his little sister is sleeping AND dating his best friend. Also that it’s been a year and a half of it behind his back. I looked and my phone and saw that Jon had texted me. Handsome My love come out he knows  My heart sunk. I got up and walked out to the living room. I saw Thayne who was red in the face standing up.  Alyssa why? I looked at him not wanting to meet his eyes.  I can’t help who I love Thayne But it had to be my costar? My best friend? Thayne, I love him I said trying not to have my voice. Trying to stay strong.  Alyssa you know the rule that I have for you Like you can talk I said. I have never dated your friends So you aren’t dating Averie right now? How did you know about that? Thayne she and I are really good friends. She was the first person to know about Jon and I even getting together I said. Jon stood up and got behind me. Putting his arm around me. Get your hands off of her Jon No she’s my girlfriend She’s not because you guys are done Then the same goes for you and Averie I spat. No, I am not leaving her Thayne said looking at me.  Then I’m not leaving him I said backing up into Jon more. Thayne was staring directly at me. His face red. He was fuming at the fact that I wasn't going to let him destroy this relationship that made me better.  You should leave Thayne No. I want you to leave him Thayne for the last time I am not leaving Jon. You are going to have to deal with it  I said to him. I saw my phone vibrate and I grabbed it. It was Jon’s mom. Great just fucking great.  Hola Mama! (Hi Mom) Alyssa, ¿por qué Jon no contesta su teléfono? (Alyssa, why is Jon not answering his phone?) No está en la misma habitación que él en este momento. (It's not in the same room as him right now) Bueno, necesita conseguirlo (Well he needs to get it) Mamá, este no es el mejor momento (Mom this isn't the best time) Te llamaré de nuevo m (I'll call you back Mom)
I said hanging up. You really call his mom, mom? I do. They also knew about us I said motioning between Jon and me. Right after Averie. Remember when I went on that “trip”? Yes I went to New Jersey with him for birthday stuff. So those post on both of our accounts was us together Thayne looked at me. He was straightened. I was trying not to cry. Alyssa please just tell me is he the one you really want? Thayne for the love of God! Yes yes, he is! I never thought about marriage until I started dating him! I felt the tears start to fall down. Jon looked down on me. I felt his eyes on me. I looked up at him.  You didn't think about marriage until you started dating me? Dating, marriage, settling down, kids was something that wasn’t in my cards until I met you I said looking at him.  I love you He whispered. I turned around and faced him. I love you more Gross I turned around and faced Thayne.  Thayne, I would be dead right now if it wasn't for him What? Thayne said. His face softened.  Thayne if I had started dating Jon I would have committed suicide. I was doing self-harm. The abuse from Alex when we were together was still haunting me  Abuse? Thayne Alex abused me while we were together I said. By now I was crying.   Alyssa, why didn't you tell me? I didn't want you going crazy and blaming yourself for not noticing the signs Thayne reached out his hand to me. I grabbed it. He pulled me into a hug.  I love you sissy I love you Thayne You guys can stay together, but if he fucks up he's dead He hasn't yet, I don't think he will I said with a laugh.  Hey, he could go rogue. He played Charles Lee Thayne said smiling at me.  It's true I do have a Charles Lee on my hands I said smiling at Jon.  I mean he is your favorite True that  Thayne shook Jon’s hand and left. So now we don't have to hide I said as Jon smiled at me.  So you do want to get married to me? He looked at me and smiled.  Don't let it get to your head pretty boy And you want me to be the father of your kids? I blushed profusely. Jon grabbed my waist and pulled me close to him.  I love you Ms. Jasperson I love you Mr. Rua

" I swear sometimes I feel like you love George more than me. " You nudge your brother's elbow, Samuel as he blushes and shakes his head. " Can you blame me if I did though? " He raised a brow as you chuckle and say a small nope, popping the p as you both share a short laugh.
You two were currently hanging out in the park as it has been a while since you've been in touch with him because you were still in college. " Ah, by the way, I have not 1, or 2 but 3 amazing lovers! " You bring up the topic as his eyes widened, " Three? No way! " He grinned as you took out your phone and showed a picture of your boyfriends.
" Isn't that Aaron Burr? " He pointed at the screen as you nod, " You know him? " You quirk a brow as a small bead of sweat runs down the side of his forehead, " Kinda? He was the one that tried stopping Hamilton to pick a fight with me... " He slightly fidgeted as you resist a laugh.
" Alexander Hamilton? You fought him? " You never thought your brother would be the kind to do such things. " Not really? I think. I was just announcing things for George that day. " He explained as you nodded, understanding why they bickered with each other.
" Moving on, this tall sassy man is Thomas Jefferson. " You continued introducing your wonderful boys as your brother stared in awe. " He's taller than me and you! " He says, he was 5' 8 and you were 5' 5, an inch taller than Madison. You giggle at his response, " He's 6' 2, Sammy. " You state as his eyes widened like plates, you burst into laughter as you watch him process what you just told him.
After your fit of laughter died down, you finally let him virtually meet your short and adorable boyfriend. Before you could say anything though, he suddenly made a comment that would 100 % make your boys mad, " He's so tiny. " You smack him on the back of the head, receiving a small ow and an apology.
" Who cares if he's tiny? Even if he's short, he's cute and extremely good in bed. " You proudly state as your brother almost chokes. You laugh again loudly as he blushes, " You already did the deed!? " He had a crooked smile on his lips as you shush him with your finger, some people were staring as you two were being loud.
" Shut up! As if you haven't done it with George! " He slaps your wrist away, still with a blush on his cheeks as you two continue to tease each other, not noticing the three people stalking from afar.
" So she is seeing someone. " Jefferson squinted his eyes, peeking from a tree with Burr and Madison under him. " [Name] would never cheat on us, why are we here anyways? " Madison sighed, already knowing this wasn't a good idea. " She's always on the phone nowadays and now she's with a boy. What else could it mean? " Burr responded as the shorter male only sighed, having second thoughts about you.
" Let's call her. " Jefferson suggested as Burr nodded, Madison not even bothering to stop him as he knows his lover won't listen to him.
" And there was this one time where- " You got cut off when your phone rang and you excused yourself. " Hold on. " You tell your brother as he nods, taking a look around the place and spotting your boys from afar. " Uh...[Name]? " He felt kind of nervous, the boys were staring at him dead in the eye as he inched closer to you, feeling a bit scared.
" Yeah? I'm at the park right now. " You felt someone tap your shoulder, you lift the phone away from your ear and turned to face him, " What's wrong? " You ask, before getting back on the call. " Mhm, I'll be going to the store on my way home, you guys want anything? " You answered, hearing Jefferson from the other line.
While Jefferson was interviewing you, Madison and Burr kept their eyes on your brother, their glares becoming sharper the more Samuel would inch closer or touch you. " There's people looking at us... " He tugged on the hem of your shirt as the two strangers kept glaring at him.
Noticing your brother's panicked state, you decide to drop the call, " Ah, I'm sorry babe, I'll call you later. " You didn't wait for him to talk since you knew he wouldn't hang up. " What was that, Sammy? " You turn back to him as he points to the tree. " There were people glaring at us... " He was slightly shaking, he's had social anxiety ever since the incident with Hamilton so that was another reason why you two never met in public often.
" Hey, no one's there, and if there was then I would never let them hurt you. " You softly ruffle his hair, pulling him into a hug as you patiently wait for him to calm down. " T-Thanks [Name], I don't know what I'd do without you... " He stuttered as you rubbed circles on his back, " You'll always be my little brother, no matter how much you outgrow me. " You chuckle lightly.
Meanwhile, your boys were fuming with jealousy and anger mixed with sadness as they take countless pictures of you and Samuel hugging as proof when they confront you later at home. " I can't believe she's actually cheating on us... " Madison seemed so down with Burr comforting him and Jefferson plainly staring at you two with hurt in his eyes.
" I say we go and confront her, right here, right now. " He narrowed his eyes as he turns to his lovers, who looked back with unsure eyes. " Can we at least wait for the guy to go? I might just kill a man today. " Burr scowled, still holding Madison in his arms, the shorter boy was starting to get sick in his stomach at the thought of you leaving them.
" If you want, I'll call George and he can take you home, or I could take you home? We can meet some other time if you're not feeling well. " You place your hands on both his shoulders as he hesitates with what to choose, " It'll be fine, it's not like I'll suddenly be gone, I don't want to spend the day, knowing you're uncomfortable. " You reassure him with your words, taking out your phone and prepared with whatever he would decide.
" No, I'm fine. Maybe it was just my imagination. " He paused as you quirk a brow, " We haven't been in touch for almost 6 months and I missed you so I won't let my overthinking get the best of me. " He met your eyes with seriousness as you sigh, " I can't say no to that face. " You pinch his cheek as he squirms, laughing lightly afterwards.
" Wanna go and eat some ice cream? I know it's your favorite. " You winked playfully as he nodded, following you like a lost puppy.
+×+
It was 4 pm when you checked your watch, you still had to do some grocery shopping so you and Sammy decided to head there before going home. " Today's been fun, thanks for spending it with me. " He smiled as you nodded, " Pft, you sound like a guy on a first date, George wouldn't like this if he didn't know I was your sister. " You chuckle, reaching for a box of cereal on the top shelf.
" Yeah, we wouldn't like this either. " You heard a familiar voice as you turn to see your lovers, clearly annoyed as Samuel stays still beside you. " Hey! What are you guys doing here? " A smile instantly turned up on your face as you try to hug Jefferson but Burr gently pushed you away.
You chuckle nervously, " What's wrong? You usually love my hugs, and James, why aren't you looking at me? " You ask, now a bit confused as to why they seemed so distant. " Probably because he's still processing the fact that you cheated on us. " Burr scoffed, glaring as you become even more confused.
" Me? Cheat? With who? " You look at the three of them, pure confusion as Samuel inched behind you, getting intimidated by Jefferson, who kept glaring at him. " Oh, stop pretending [Name], you're even hiding him from us when he's literally behind you? " Burr wasn't the type to get mad, so you were in complete shock as you look at them wide eyed.
You turn to Samuel, who was now crouching and hiding behind you, the more seconds pass, the more you got confused until you finaly pieced the puzzle together.
" Loves, I'm not cheating on you, this is my brother, Samuel Seabury. " You had an awkward smile as their faces slowly lost the tension whilst they stared at your brother with a blank expression. " Uh, hi. " Your brother waved a little as your lovers look at both of you.
They looked speechless before James finally sighed, " I told you this was a bad idea. " He muttered as you burst into laughter, " Now that you say it, you two do look kinda the same. " Aaron squinted his eyes as your brother lightly chuckled.
" Oho? The Thomas Jefferson is actually speechless for once? " You giggle, noticing him still zoning out beside Aaron. James nudged him by the elbow as the taller man cleared his voice, " Of course not, it just took me a second to process that. " He replies as you feel a tap on your shoulder.
You jump ever so slightly as you see Geroge behind you with an amused face. " Oh hey! You here to pick up Sammy? " You step back a bit, feeling a bit intimidated by his height, actually, both you and James were surrounded by titans. " Yes, but before I go, may I ask who these men are? " He moved his gaze up to your boys, and back down because you and James were tiny.
You sneak in between James and Aaron, " These guys, are my wonderful boyfriends! " You beam as he tilts his head, a small o forming on his lips as Samuel holds his boyfriend's hand. " [Name], you naughty little girl. " He teased as you blushed furiously, you certainly didn't expect that kind of answer.
" Well, she's our naughty little girl. " You felt Thomas' grab your ass from behind as you let out a squeak. " A-Anyways! I think you guys should go! I can continue shopping with them, I know you're probably tired too. " You slip out of their grip, hugging your brother tight and ruffling his hair on your tippy toes.
" I'll see you next month? " He asks as you nod, smiling as you smack George on his back for his little comment earlier. You heard a few chuckles from behind as Samuel waved goodbye, having his own ass grabbed by George. You giggled as he lets his hand go and pushes him away from your sight.
" I didn't know you had a brother. " Aaron came up from behind, a relieved look on his face since they really thought you cheated. " You guys really think I'd waste my time with some other guy when I have all of you? " You play off sarcastically, pulling them all in a group hug which also consisted a lot of kisses.
" I'm sorry we doubted you, sweetheart. " James apologized, out of the three of them, he was most likely the one that would've stopped the other two from doing ridiculous things like this, but it seems like his worries got the best of him.
You flash a grin at him, squishing his cheeks back into a smile, " It's okay! Thomas and Aaron are pretty hard to handle all alone. " You snicker, whispering to James as you felt Thomas' hands snaking around your waist, pulling your back to him. " Heeeey, I wasn't done talking to Maddyyy. " You whine, as you felt him turn you around and flick you on the forehead.
" Ow! What's that for? " You hiss as he lets you go, " For making us worry, " he paused, looking at Aaron which made you even more confused, " And we'll give you a little something later for being good to us. " You felt his breath near your ear, a blush instantly formed on your cheeks as you went to your cart to go back to shopping.
" I'll take up that offer. "
You glance a grin at them before running to another aisle whilst pushing the cart. Maybe it wasn't so bad to be mistaken once in a while.

About a week ago you went into labor and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Now it was time to take her home. To say you and Thayne were a mess was an understatement.
“Where’s the pacifier?!” Thayne questioned as he rushed around the hospital room trying to gather all of your things so that the two of you could leave.
“Thayne...” You stood up with your baby in your arms and neared Thayne. You bounced the baby in your arms softly so that she would stay calm.
“Where’s her bag?” Thayne whipped around, the bag he was looking for was in his hand. “Have you seen her bag?”
“Look at me. Calm down.” You chuckled and stopped bouncing your daughter just to put a hand on his shoulder, bringing him back to reality. “The bag is in your hand, my love.”
“Oh. I’m sorry. I guess I’m just a little worked up.” Thayne looked down at your daughter and chuckled when she cooed at him. “I think we actually have everything. Let’s get out of here, and finally take our little girl home.”
You smiled happily, “Couldn’t have said it better myself.”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One Year Later
“What do you think her first words might be?” Thayne inquired, laying in bed next to you watching the city come alive from your shared room.
Your daughter was asleep for the moment.
“I don’t know…” You sat up, “Hamilton?”
Thayne laughed for a second then stopped. “Wait… That’s actually possible.”
You rolled out of bed and headed towards the door, “Coffee and pancakes?”
“Yes, please. I’ll get the baby.”
Today was the first day since you and Thayne went back to work that you both had a day off during the week, and you were going make the best of it.
“Pancakes for you, Mr. Seabury.” You said as you set Thayne’s plate down next to his designated mug, as he kept your daughter interested in her own little pancakes. She took the pancake from Thayne’s hand and giggled at it playfully.
“Thank you, my darling, Y/n.” He smiled and pulled you towards him as you went back towards the stove. “Would you like to dance?”
“I’d love to.” You took his hand in your and spun him out so that both of your arms were wide open.
He spun you back towards him, “Is something burning?”
Your eyes widened and you ran back towards the stove, after not being able to find the spatula, you tried to take off the burning pancake from the hot plate with your hands. That proved to be a bad idea.
“Hot. Hot. Hot. Hot. Hot.” You exclaimed, throwing it up in the air with every word. With the last ‘Hot’ the pancake didn’t fall back into your hands again. Instead…
“Hot. Hot. Hot. Hot. Hot.” Thayne threw the pancake up and up while you tried to shake the heat off your hands.
It wasn’t working.
Finally, Thayne threw the pancake up and it landed on the floor.
Your hands shook with pain, “Why didn’t I just do that it in the first place?”
“I don’t know...”
Your daughter laughed loudly at her parents shenanigans, and bit into her little pancakes.
“What so funny, Chocolate Chip?” Thanye fake pouted, putting his hands on his hips. You turned off the stove and shook your head, bending down to pick up the burnt pancake, carefully.
She giggled again, “Mama. Papa. Funny.”
You gasped and dropped the pancake again. Thayne looked at you for confirmation of what just happened.
Your daughter had just said her first words.

A Great Pair (Thayne Jasperson x Reader (Platonic))
Request: Hi ! Can you write something with Thayne Jasperson like he has a sister but they don't really look alike and she started coming over to the theater a lot. Finally the company got so curious they decided to corner Thayne and asked him about his new 'girlfriend' at which he just laughed and walked away. They finally found out from Lin (who has been trying to not spoil them with the truth) who she was, and they welcomed her with open arms and everything ? It's so long I'm sorry !
Word Count: 535
Warning(s): Like 2 curse words, sibling being mistaken as partner (if that makes you uncomfortable)
A/N: This one was fun to write! I’m so sorry that it’’s so short, but it felt like it should be a shorter story.
You let out a small laugh as you walked beside your brother, Thayne. For the past about two weeks you had started to visit Richard Rodgers Theater with him, after realizing your newfound passion for the music of Hamilton.
Now, you loved the lyrics, but you meant the instrumental that had been so expertly put together by Alex Lacamoire.
When you told Thayne about this passion, he was quick to start bringing you with him so you could start sitting in on the orchestra practicing in the pit and start talking to Lac.
As you two walked into the theater, you were quick to be swept away by Lac, who was quickly starting to ramble that he created a new piece the night before. Though you were excited to hear it, you stopped him.
“One second, Lac.” You said with a small laugh. You turned and gave Thayne a small hug and kissed his cheek. “I’ll see you later. Don’t worry, I’ll be there to see you as Seabury.” You smiled as you earned a small shove from him in Lac’s direction. You waved and allowed yourself to be pulled away to the orchestra pit.
Thayne watched you two, extremely amused. He let out a laugh before making his way onstage, where he saw the rest of the company getting ready for Story of Tonight.
He gave a wave as he heard 'hello's from those onstage.
He glanced around for a moment, watching (Y/N) and Lac entering down to the pit.
"Alright. I have a question." He looked over as he heard Anthony.
"We all have a question." Jon corrected, earning confirmations from the others.
Thayne rose an eyebrow. "Alright. Shoot."
"Why did you never tell us you have a new girlfriend?" Anthony asked.
This caused Thayne to freeze. However, very quickly, he started to laugh. He earned looks as his laughter continued and he walked offstage and towards the dressing room he shared with the other male ensemble members.
The confusion only grew as Lin snorted and burst into laughter, resembling Thayne's laughter.
"Okay. What the hell is all the laughter about?" Daveed was quick to question, crossing his arms.
Lin took a moment to calm down, before looking at them. "You guys are hilarious." He breathed, smiling at their confused looks. "Guys, she's not his girlfriend." He earned 'huh's from them. "She's his little sister."
As soon as Lin answered, you peaked your head out of the entrance to the pit, wanting to go sit and watch them practice. Lac's new piece was definitely beautiful. However, you were pulled from your thoughts about his piece as soon as you were pulled off of your feet by Oak.
"Thayne never told us he had a sister!" Carleigh said with a bright smile.
You smiled and patted Oak's arm, causing him to put you down onto your feet.
"Oh he didn't?" You asked and looked over as Thayne walked on stage, changed into more comfortable clothing.
"Thayne Jasperson." You said, causing your older brother to freeze and let out a small 'shit'.
As he turned and ran off, you were quick to follow him.
"Well, aren't they a great pair?" Lin commented with a smile.

man enough - jojo x reader
in which jojo is assaulted and belittled by the delanceys and gets the comfort he not only deserves, but needs.
word count: 1,544
warnings: implies rape attempt, physical assault, a couple fem pronouns at the beginning
jojo panted heavily, his eyes darting as he pressed himself against the harsh brick wall. he knew the delanceys more than likely saw him duck into the alley, but he knew he couldn’t outrun them for much longer so he threw himself into the dead end. damn it, he knew this one was a dead end. why didn’t he use his head for once and wait for an open alley?
he shuddered with every breath and did his best to ignore the jagged bricks that were digging into his back through his shirt, which was worn thin from a couple years of wear. the sounds of manhattan bustled on, ignorant to the impending doom that was awaiting the newsboy desperately attempting to conceal himself in the dirty, cramped alleyway; people passed, other newsies shouted questionable headlines, bakery pans clattered.
he let out a dismayed sigh when two large figures appeared in the entrance of the alley. backlit by the new york sunset, the shadowed delanceys slowly, menacingly, methodically approached him. oscar’s brass knuckles scraped eerily against a wall, the echoey grating not unlike that of nails on a chalkboard. jojo cringed, digging his nails into his trembling palms.
“we heard ya got a girl, jojo,” morris mumbled into jojo’s ear as he leaned in, his body mere millimeters from his. “how’d that happen?” his hot breath rushed over jojo’s face and he froze, pressing closer to the wall in an attempt to add more space between their bodies.
“i’s good to her,” he squeaked in a weak attempt to defend himself. morris chucked and turned to look over at oscar, keeping one hand firmly planted on the wall next to jojo’s head.
“that’s a good one, isn’t it, oscar?” he cackled. oscar nodded and sniggered along, approaching the pair with a sneer. morris stepped away, offering the victim to his brother.
oscar slowly, deliberately pressed his brass knuckles to jojo’s face and dragged the cold metal down his jaw.
“you can’t treat a girl right. hell, you act like a damn kiddie. you’s not man enough,” he spat, ramming a rough hand into the weaker boy’s shoulder. morris nodded in agreement and rubbed his fist.
“i’s a man,” jojo argued, his brows furrowed in confusion.
“a man doesn’t run from a fight,” oscar hissed, slamming his fist into jojo’s stomach. he groaned, the air knocked out of his unprepared body. his brain was too cloudy to think up an argument.
when his breath returned, he attempted to jerk away from his aggressors. his fight or flight had kicked in and, as usual, every atom in his body was screaming at him to run as quickly as he could. maybe they were right.
oscar didn’t miss a beat. his arm snapped over and he latched onto the back of jojo’s shirt collar, roughly yanking him back. with his other hand, he slammed his brass knuckles into his jaw at full force. jojo cried out, flinching away from him. oscar dragged him back against his chest, hostile fingers digging into his arms.
“didn’t you hear me? or are you just not a real man?” he chortled.
“yeah, that one,” morris replied in his place, tugging jojo’s head back by his hair. “not a real man. the girl just pities him.”
that’s when it got worse. more dehumanizing. more humiliating. the delanceys through punch after punch, kick after kick. and what did jojo do? nothing. of course, there were initial attempts to fight back, but he quickly learned that trying to get a punch of his own in when he was outnumbered two to one was counterproductive and caused even more harm to him.
after that came the attempts to block the attacks. his forearms were attacked so brutally that he became so sore that he retracted them in fear that they’d get broken. he crumpled to the ground and took it.
silent tears poured down his lightly freckled cheeks and sobs wracked his body in addition to the kicks and punches. he was vaguely aware of them chattering to each other throughout the beating, but was too absorbed in his suffering to listen. he didn’t know if he’d make it out. it felt like he’d been there for hours and like there were many more ahead.
suddenly, it all stopped. a light jangle replaced the talking, and he slowly lifted his head. one eye was already swelling shut and blood trickled from his nose.
oscar stood to the side looking smug, and morris was undoing his belt, leering down at jojo.
“how ‘bout i show you a real man, kiddie?” the words seemed to come in slow motion and something stirred within him. despite every bone in his body feeling shattered, every muscle feeling stretched out, every inch of skin feeling bruised, he ran. he pushed past morris and he ran. he ran faster than he ever had before and the wind whistled in his ears and his heart pounded and people stopped to stare as the bloodied newsboy ran. the sun had nearly set.
you had already been at the lodging house for nearly an hour. you were starting to wonder where your boyfriend was, sure, but you weren’t too worried. the headline wasn’t great today and jojo always refused to make up a better one to sell more. he hated lying. he was fine, right? of course he was. he always was.
“you seen jojo?” albert mumbled to race. “he’s usually back by now.”
“nah, haven’t seen him since before lunch,” he replied casually, lying back on the floor.
albert shook his head to himself. it was dark outside. but jojo was fine, right? of course he was. he always was.
jojo threw the door open and slammed it behind him. he heaved for breath and, dazed, looked around at the stunned faces staring at him in shock. in awe. they were horrified.
the room was silent apart from his jagged gaps for air. it took five seconds, no more and no less, for you to stand and walk cautiously to his side.
“jojo, baby, are you... what happened?” you asked softly, not daring to touch him. he shook his head and his face crumpled as he threw his arms around you and buried his battered face in the crook of your neck. you knew he was getting blood on your shirt. you couldn’t have cared less if you tried.
you carefully, uncertainly, lovingly hugged him back.
“delanceys,” he spoke, his cracked voice muffled by your shirt. the room’s energy shifted from confusion fear to anger. they all stood and looked to jack for orders. they liked to think they were independent, but when it came down to it, they always turned to their leader. jack took race, albert, finch, buttons, and mush and they wordlessly stormed out of the lodge and spilled into the street. albert had his stick and finch had his slingshot. they were ready for war.
the rest of the newsies went upstairs, knowing that you two of you needed your space. he reluctantly lifted his head to face you. you couldn’t help but tear up at the sight of his beaten features. his eyes welled with fresh tears.
“don’t cry, darlin’. i’s okay,” he whispered, pressing his swollen, bleeding lips against yours in a light, yet oh-so desperate kiss. his kiss slowly got needier and after a couple minutes, you slowly pulled away.
“what’s wrong, baby? what’d they tell you?” you softly questioned. he only kissed you like that after someone belittled him and made him insecure about himself. it took a lot to make jorgelino josephino de la guerra insecure. he was too busy making others happy to care about himself.
“they said i wasn’t man enough for you,” he admitted, his head dropping in shame.
“that’s bullshit, jojo. you’s more than man enough. you’s perfect,” you assured, running and impossibly light hand through his hair to avoid causing his any more pain.
“no, they is right. i ran from a fight,” he argued. his puppy dog eyes begged you to hold him.
“c’mere, handsome. let’s go lay down,” you offered, leading him to the nearest bed. his wounds could be tended to in the morning. now, he needed your support.
he winced as my laid down and you frowned. he smiled weakly, kissing your hand.
“i’m alright, y/n. a little soakin’ ain’t gonna be the death of me,” he assured. you cautiously wrapped your arms around him and held him close. he closed his eye that wasn’t already swollen shut and sighed contentedly as he nuzzled into your chest. occasionally, when he would shift, he would wince and groan in pain. you’d press a tender kiss to his head, and, with effort, he’d tilt his head up to peck your lips, a small, dimpled grin gracing his features. he looked as beautiful as he always did; nothing could make him look any less than flawless in your eyes.
when the small gang returned with a bloody stick and a partially-sated thirst for revenge, they put a blanket over the two of you and wordlessly shifted through the lodge to their bunks, ready for a good night’s rest. after all, you all had papers to sell at sunrise.

Talks on TikTok
Pairing: Jordan Fisher x Female Reader
Warnings: Some bad words, my bad this whole thing is one bog self insert!
Request? Yes! Tagged @johnlaurensbitch and anon request!! this is probably a very late request,, considering i’m never on tumblr.
Tumblr media
Preview: kinda self explanatory?? but basically reader duets jordan’s tiktok and he sees it and messages her!!
Y/F/N is Your Friend’s Name!!
Masterlist
TikTok was a relatively new app in your life. You had done a few POV’s and also sang along to the Sofia The First song to “broadway attractive men: sing-a-long edition” specifically to sing along for Thayne Jasperson and Jordan Fisher. It had become a new obsession, as you replied to comments and liked funny ones that made you laugh when you couldn’t sleep.
As you swiped through your For You page and liked a few, you received a comment notification. @username: @yourusername please duet this!!!
Upon reading the comment, you first checked the username to make sure it wasn’t a weird bot account, and you realized it was not. After that, you clicked the video and it took you to Jordan Fisher’s account.
The video was a 60 second clip of Jordan singing the Orpheus part of “All I’ve Ever Known” from Hadestown. You already knew the song and you had seen Reeve in the Original Broadway Cast, alongside Eva Noblezada, prior to Coronavirus putting every inch of Broadway in the dark.
Below the video, the caption said “Duet this as Eurydice! Let me hear your voices! :) #fyp #hadestown #duet.”
Maybe you could duet it? Of course you could, it was just a simple sixty second video, it wouldn’t change or affect your life in any way shape or form. At least that’s what you initially thought.
Clicking the small swishy arrow, then clicking duet, you sang your part and finalized the video, with the caption ‘The Orpheus to my Eurydice! Cast Jordan as Orpheus or you’re cowards!!! #fyp #bway #duet #hadestown’ Granted the duet itself wasn’t anything professional and was merely for fun, as you assumed Jordan would never see it, let alone anyone from Broadway that would see your poke at the Hadestown casting directors.
You went to text your friend about your recent Glee binge while pressing play on the next episode, though Netflix should know you by now. Of course you’re ‘still watching,’ that shouldn’t even be a question. You decide to grab the bag of chips off of the coffee table before plopping yourself on the couch and settling into the plot that was the storm of Glee.
Two episodes in and your phone vibrates beside you.
Y/F/N Calling...
You accept the call and raise the phone to your ear.
“Oh my God! You saw it right? Tell me you saw it?” they shrill into your ear.
“What is ‘it?” What are you talking about?”
“Come on Y/N... Jordan commented on your post!”
“No way.. What the fuck!? Let me go see.” you respond before adding, “hold on, I’ll call you back.”
Sure enough, you opened TikTok and there was the notification, or the many notifications...
@jordan_fisher: YOU KILLED THIS! 😍
Another notification popped up, this time a little paper airplane depicting a dm.
Jordan Fisher:
Hey! You did so good on that duet!!
Does he do that to everyone who duets? What was going on...
You take a screenshot and send it to Y/F/N with ‘tell me i’m reading this wrong... this is fake...’ undernearth the screenshot.
You go back to TikTok and reply, or try to, as Y/F/N floods you with texts. ‘OMG DATE’ ‘WTF NO WAY’ ‘OMG SIS U HAVE TO’ ‘MESSAFE HIM’ ‘FLIRT FLIRT PLS OMH DO IT NOW FOT ME’
Y/N L/N:
Thank you! That means so much coming from you! Yours was phenomenal
He responded almost instantaneously.
Jordan Fisher:
Well I kinda do the singing thing for a living. Seriously though, do you sing? I’ve seen some of your videos, you’re really good!
Now he wants to actually know you? Not only that, but he’s creeped on your TikTok? He doesn’t do this with everyone... right?
Y/N L/N:
Well I knew that much. I sing in the shower! Not professionally, but I’ve written some stuff.. I wish I had the guts to get out there!
You were actually shaking, and didn’t know what to even say to him. This was all so surreal to you.
Then you got an Instagram notification.
@jordan_fisher has followed you!
Followed by a TikTok notification that Jordan had duetted you back. The duet was Jordan staring at the screen with a smile on his face while you sang the Eurydice part, then adding “OH MY GOD SHE’S LITERALLY SO GOOD!” to the end.
Comments flooded in left and right, follows on Instagram.. It seemed endless. You decide to mess with him and message him on Instagram.
@YourUsername:
You stalking me or something? 🤔
@jordan_fisher:
Maybe it’s something like that. Or maybe you just caught my eye.
@YourUsername:
Is that so?
@jordan_fisher:
Yeah, you really blew me away!
@YourUsername:
Okay Philip Hamilton blow us all away tease! Btw you did so good in that show!
@jordan_fisher:
You saw it?
@YourUsername:
Yeah I saw you as Philip and John, but couldn’t stagedoor :( but here I am talking to you so!
@jordan_fisher:
Well I’m glad the universe worked out that way!
@YourUsername:
Literally how many people can say they’re talking to their childhood crush on Instagram? Not many!
@jordan_fisher:
Childhood crush huh?
@YourUsername:
Let’s just say my younger sibling had a thing for Liv&Maddie😂
@jordan_fisher:
That’s cute though! Gotta start somehow. This is totally random, and you can say no, but what would you say to coffee sometime?
@YourUsername:
I’d say that I’ll need your number to let your know when your order is ready, just like Starbucks!
@jordan_fisher:
Oh right, like Starbucks...😂 xxx-xxx-xxxx
@YourUsername:
I’ll text you the plan yeah?
@jordan_fisher:
Can’t wait!
-
yikes, when this is some really bad writing and a weird ending???? it’ll probably be a part two or something idk i didn’t have an idea for the next bit?? so if anyone has any ideas pls hit the ask box up.. but beware i really forget that thing exists ajdakkjf IM GETTING BETTER AT TUMBLR I SWEAR IM RELEARNING THE WRITING THING AND THE TUMBLR THING.. trust the process pls bc i miss writing and i want ppl to like the stuff i write!! also sorry for the weird title,,, again, still getting used to this stuff again :/

“Is That My Shirt?” (Thayne x Reader)
Request:@imkindapassionate-kindasoulless Hellooooo !! I was wondering if you could do 4.“Is that my shirt?” with Thayne Jasperson ? :D
TW: Allusions to sex
Masterlist
You groan as your eyes adjust to the harsh light coming through the window. You roll over and rest your head on your boyfriend’s shoulder. He smiles and faces you. “Hey, baby.”
You smile slightly and kiss him. “Mornin’.”
He smiles. “What time is it?”
You bury your head in his next. “Does it matter?”
He chuckles and looks over you at the clock. “It’s almost eleven,” he comments.
You grumble. “I guess that means I should make breakfast.”
“That would be nice.”
You swing your legs over the edge of the bed. Thayne follows soon after you and wraps his arms around you. “I’ll go make coffee.” He presses a kiss to your back and heads into the kitchen.
You slide on your underwear and button up Thayne’s shirt from last night. You walk out and wrap your arms around him as he waits for the coffee. He turns around and looks at you. His eyes graze your body. “Is that my shirt?” He smirks.
You blush. “It was just-”
He holds a finger to your lips. “It looks great on you. You should wear my clothes more often.”
“Maybe I will.” You turn to grab the eggs from the fridge.
He shakes his head and mutters, “You, (Y/N) (L/N), will be the death of me.”

Thayne Jasperson x starved reader- Eat more please
I sat looking at the cold food. It was just a small lunch. I threw it in the trash.
“Hey y/n I got some of Thayne’s cookies. Do you want any?” Jonathan asked. I shook my head no. He looked sad.
“Sorry I just ate lunch and I’m full.” I said. Jonathan nodded not as sad.
I was playing Peggy because Jazzy got sick. I went to my dressing room.
“Ugh. I hate tighting this thing.” I sighed. I noticed Thayne in the hall. “Thayne can you help me tighten this?” I asked. he nodded and walked in.
He pulled on it hard. “Tighter.” I said. He pulled very tight. “Tighter.” I said again. He tighten it as much as he could.
I sighed. It wasn’t that tight. Thayne looked at me worried. “Y/n when was the last time you ate?” He asked. “Um... A few minutes ago. I had a salad.” I said.
He sighed. “Y/n tell the truth. I am worried about you. you are as thin as a twig.I can see your ribs through the dress.”
“2 months ago.” I said. There was silence. I then felt hugging.
“Y/n please eat!” Thayne whimpered. “Okay. Just please don’t tell anyone.” I pleaded. He nodded. “I won’t.” he said.
He grabbed me and pulled me into the green room. where Jonathan sat on a chair. Thayne grabbed a box of cookies.
“Sit.” He said pointing to the couch. We both sat on the couch.
He handed me a cookie. I bit a tiny piece of it. “There. I did it.” I said. He shook is head no. “If you don’t eat this I won’t tighten your dresses.” He whispered.
I grabbed the cookie. I put half of it in my mouth. Thayne’s eyes lit up. My eyes lit up. I haven’t had sugar in a long time.
I put the other part of it in my mouth and ate that piece. Thayne smiled. “There it wasn't that bad.” He said softly.
I lead on his shoulder. Jonathan looked at us.
“S/n (ship name) Is real people!” He shouted. Thayne pecked me on the lips.

What I did for Love - Daveed Diggs x Reader
Request: Can a get a Daveed Diggs x Reader thing going? Please and thanks xoxo
Word count: 1276
Pairing: Daveed Diggs x Reader
Warnings: Amazing vocals, plus me fangirling over the thought of Thayne Jasperson singing
AU: Real life peeps
Note: Yes I know it’s been a hot minute since I’ve been writing (like since the beginning of summer). But here I am. I got this idea by me being re-obsessed with the A Chorus Line video the ensemble of Hamilton did. So I hope y’all enjoy :)
Tumblr media
I smiled as the hair and makeup crew left my room while I finished buttoning my cream coloured vest. It was the last bit to my ensemble costume. I ran the lines through my head, humming along to my part. This was my chance. All of us were able to have a solo. I couldn’t mess it up. All this time, I have been a part of the back up crew. My job was to dance and melodize. But today I would be a part of the front line. All of us were performing to What I did for Love, from A Chorus Line. A knock at the door pulled me out of my thoughts. I turned to see the man with the big curly hair, himself. “Hey Daveed.” I smiled softly, turning back to my costume, adjusting the articles of clothes. “Nervous?” He asked, moving aside for Madeleine - the microphone girl came along, to get me ready. I smiled up at Daveed as he leaned against the door frame. His eyes glowed with amusement, watching my jumpy motions. “Only a little bit.” I laughed nervously. “Don’t be, you will do amazing.” “God I hope so.” I smiled, looking down at my shoes. “Five minutes ’til show time!” Lin called out. “On it!” I spoke back. “Hey, don’t be nervous.” Daveed placed a hand on my shoulder as we walked out. “I know you’ll do great. You don’t think I watch you do your thing during the shows?” Shooting me a wink. “Yeah, but I’m not exactly a solo artist, we work as a team.” I chuckled at his comment. “You just seem to blow us all away.” He nudged me. “You’re hilarious, Diggs.” “You flatter me, y/n.” He smirked. “You are so egotistical.” I teased as we made our way up the stage.
“Forty year ago, today. A Chorus Line had it’s first performance on this stage.” Lin spoke out to the audience who all clapped. “To begin our festivities, from the Mayor’s office, nine time Emmy winner Cynthia Lopez.” “On behalf of Bill Diblazio, the Mayor of the city of New York. I do here by proclaim, Thursday April 16th 2015, in the city of New York, A Chorus Line day.” I suddenly grew insanely nervous as we all stepped forward into line. I took my headshot that I had submitted to the show and held it up. The audience cheering and clapping. The piano started up, making me even more excited. As Ephraim started, the line began to set down their photos in his hand. “Who am I anyway? Am I my resume? That is a picture of a person I don’t know.” He sang out. As Phillipa set down her photo, I was next, then Daveed. “What does he want from me? What should I try to be?” Jon was next. “So many faces all around, and here we go.” Sydney’s voice warming my heart. “I need this job, oh God, I need this show.” Thayne is so cute, oh my god. Can he sing this entire thing please? “Kiss today goodbye.” Carleigh started the song What I did for Love with the piano softening it as well. “The sweetness and the sorrow. Wish me luck, the same to you. But I can’t regret, what I did for love, what I did for love.” “Look my eyes are dry. The gift was ours to borrow. It’s as if we always knew.” Ariana began, making me even more nervous. “And I won’t forget, what I did for love, what I did for love.” Sasha continued, making the butterflies fly up in my stomach. I was next. It’s as if Daveed sensed it. His hand snuck itself into mine, our hands connected. I almost broke character as a smile found itself onto my face. “Gone, love it never gone.” “As we travel on.” I belted, feeling an overwhelming sense of joy. “Love’s what we’ll remember.” Daveed squeezed my hand a little. I looked up to see him smiling down at me. I looked back out into the crowd with a smile on my face. It was almost as big as Pippa’s as she watched the two of us like a proud mom. “Kiss today goodbye, and point me t’ward tomorrow.” I finished as Betsy took on the ending. “We did what we had to do.” She sang softly before finishing the verse on a powerful note. “Won’t forget, can’t regret what I did for love.” “What I did for love.” Everyone in the line sang out. “What I did for love.” The then sang. “Love is never gone. As we travel on. Love’s what we’ll remember.” I took in a breath as I could feel Daveed’s eyes on me. I could hear his voice among the rest of us, making myself feel warm and fuzzy on the inside. “Kiss today goodbye. And point me t’ward tomorrow.” “Point me t’ward tomorrow.” The stars sang. “We did what we had to do.” We all sang, hitting the higher note. “Won’t forget, can’t regret, what I did for love. What I did for love.” “What I did for love.” The ensemble finished off, it fading out.
The speech that Lin spoke afterwards was all a blur. Daveed’s hand was still in mine as we took the step back. He ran through the names of the people who were a part of the ensemble. I almost didn’t hear my name until Daveed’s hand slipped from mine, pushing me forward. I laughed out as I smiled and took a bow. Then as Lin introduced the cast of the original A Chorus Line cast, we all clapped as they walked up onto the stage. They all then went into their lines and we all stepped forward, meeting the cast members. Different speeches were spoken about the two shows and how A Chorus Line was a show that was almost forgotten and brought back up into the light because of Lin. We had finished the show off by singing the final verse to What I did for Love before heading back off stage. I was wanting to talk to Daveed, but we had gotten lost in the crowd.
“Knock, knock.” I heard the familiar voice, causing me to look up from my phone. I stood up, now dressed completely different. My hair was out from the up-do and into a messy bun, I was in leggings and a large hoodie, my feet in my combat boots. I was a bit of a sight for sore eyes. I had taken off my stage makeup, just ready to crawl into bed. The show we had just done was after a evening show, which meant it was after midnight. “I thought everyone had left.” I smiled, standing up from the chair in my dressing room, walking over to Daveed. He had changed from his revolutionary era clothing and into a Oakland hoodie, and some light wash jeans. “So did I.” He smiled. “I did want to let you know that you did amazing, and you should think about applying to be an understudy at least.” I walked forward as he was talking to me. I cut off the sentence he was forming, by pressing my lips to his. My arms were draped around his shoulders and his found their way around my torso. We held each other close as our lips moved against each others. I wanted to treasure this forever. I loved the warm and fuzzy feeling I got whenever I was around him. I loved how he made me feel loved. This was perfect. Man, what I did for love.

A/n- IF IT SAYS JON I MEAN JON RUA IF IT SAYS GROFF I MEAN GROFF\ ALSO I KINDA DIDNT FOLLOWE THE REQUEST PERFECTLY BUT I LIKE HOW IT CAME OUT
Masterlist
You stood in the lobby of the Richard Rodgers theater, scared to go through the second door. You had procrastinated coming here all day. You had gone to the park, petted dogs, gone to a bakery and picked up a shit ton of bagels, and now you were here with three boxes of donuts in your hands. Suddenly, the door opened and Lin, your boss, head popped out.
“Y/n! There you are!” He exclaimed and exited the door, going to give you a hug.
“Here I am…” You exclaimed warily. He stepped back and looked at you worriedly.
“They'll love you Y/n. We're glad to have you on the crew!”
You nodded, “Glad to be here.”
“Come on, let me introduce you.” Lin took your arm and pulled you into the theatre. Everyone was currently on break from rehearsal and talking to each other. Lin told you to wait at the front of the stage while he got everyone’s attention.
“Listen up!” He exclaimed. Some of the cast turned to him. Alex whistled to get the rest’s attention. The conversations died down and Lin clapped his hands together, “First things first, I would like to introduce our new crew member, Y/n L/n!”
‘Whoop’s and clapping proceeded.
“Would you like to give a few words?”
You shrugged, “Okay..”
Lin stepped back, and you stepped forward.
“I’m not good with words, so I…” You struggled with the box in your arms. Lin stepped forward to help you. You quickly thanked him. “I-I brought donuts…”
You showed them the contents on the box.
“I CALL FIRST DIBS!” A man, you recognized as Oak from his pictures (you had done your research), chirped up. He barreled towards you and the boxes. Soon the rest of the cast followed. They took one of the boxes and started fighting over who would get what.
“BOSS COMING THROUGH!” Lin proclaimed and the cast parted like the red sea to let him through. Lin took his time to pick out his donuts, and promptly walked away with a smile on his face. The cast then restarted their fight for the pastries. After those ran out, Groff turned to you and took another box from your arms.
“LONG LIVE THE KING!” He yelled as he ran away from the angry mob of cast members.
“CATCH HIM! HE HAS MY BEAR CLAW!” Tommy yelled and the mob followed Jonathan off of the stage. This left you and another person laughing hysterically at the cast’s actions. You turned to see the other person and recognized him as Thayne Jasperson.
He stepped forward and reached out his hand nervously, “Hi, I’m Thayne.”
You blinked, looking for words to say, “Donut.”
“Donut?” Thayne’s head cocked to the side.
“Donut.” You opened the last box and showed the donuts to him.
“Oh… Donut!” Thayne smiled, and reached into the box to take one of the donuts. He then sat on the edge of the stage, and patted the space next to him. You nodded and took a donut for yourself, and sat down next to him.
The two of you sat there, and talked. You told him how you came to find this job, he told you about the cast, and how accepting they were. He told you of stories, fans would never know, that made you laugh the hardest.
“You know, you’re doing a great job.” Thayne said after your last burst of laughter settled down.
“Thanks.” You smiled. “But, so far, I’ve only brought donuts.”
“And with those donuts you’ve won the hearts of the whole cast! At least mine.”
“I’m glad to hear that. Maybe I’ll bring donuts more often.”
“Okay, Donut.”
You smiled at your new nickname.
At that moment you knew you had a friend, and over the next year, it slowly turned into something more.
-----------------------------------------------
“Hey, Donut.” You heard Thayne’s voice in your ear and soon you felt arms wrap around your waist.
You sighed and wriggled out of his grasp, “Thayne, you have 15 minutes to places and you are not in costume, or miked! Shoo! Away! To your dressing room!”
“Listen to your girlfriend, Thayne.” Jazzy teased as she walked by in her Peggy costume.
“Thayne and Y/n sitting in the tree…” Anthony taunted. You rolled your eyes, but blushed.
“Ohhhh Y/n is blushing..” Daveed announced and your face became even redder.
“But seriously, you guys should really get together.” Pippa voiced her opinion.
“As the kids say, I ship it.” Lin spoke up.
“Another thing the kids say, I’m the captain of this ship.” Alex smiled, proud of himself that he knew this.
“Just get to places!” You huffed and pushed Thayne towards his dressing room.
They laughed and followed your directions to get to places.
Once getting Thayne to his dressing room, you looked around to see if there was anyone in the halls.
Thayne chuckled, “Are we ever going to tell them about us?”
You smiled, and nodded, “Yeah, I just wanna see them suffer a little more. Now, I’m serious, get ready.”
You turned and started to walk away when Thayne pulled your back. “Kiss?”
You smiled and moved the microphone, on your headset, to peck him on the lips. “Break a leg.”
“Wait, I have a present for you!” Thayne went into his room and came out with a pink box from your favorite bakery, the one from the first day you met. He opened it, and inside was a donut. “Donut for Donut.”
You giggled and took the box from him. “I’ll eat it at intermission. Thank you. Get ready.”
“Just make sure no one else does.” Thayne warned.
You scoffed, “You know what happens when people try to take my food.”
“Right.” Thayne smiled his signature smile. “Love you.”
You smile and gave him another peck. “Love you too.”
His door closed and you sighed in content as you walked down the hall towards the green room.
You put the donut in the fridge and left the room to oversee last minute stage lights and soundchecks.
------------------------------------------
“I AM NOT THROWING AWAY MY SHOT!” The last note hit, and the lights shut off.Clapping from the audience erupted, and the cast exited the stage while intermission was announced.
You gave a few high fives to your cast mates along with good jobs. You walked towards the green room, ready to eat your donut. You entered and heard arguing.
“-YOU’RE STILL EATING IT?!”
“Thayne. Calm down, dude, it’s just a donut.” Jon tried to reason.
“THAT IS NOT JUST A DONUT! THAT’S MY MARRIAGE PROPOSAL!” Thayne fumed.
Then the cast went wild with questions.
“TO WHO?!”
“YOU’RE DATING SOMEONE?!”
“Thayne?” You spoke and somehow everyone heard you over the excited screaming. The room went quiet. Thayne looked from Jon, and his face softened.
Oak looked in between the two of you, “Holy shit, it’s Y/n.”
“Y/n, I- I didn’t mean for you to find out this way. I meant for you to eat the donut and find-”
One of the assistant stage managers came in the green room, “Five min-”
“SHHHHHHHHH!” The whole of the cast sounded.
“I think you might want this.” Jon said quickly handing Thayne the diamond ring.
Thayne smiled and got down on one knee. He didn’t even get the chance to ask.
“Yes! Yes!” You exclaimed.
The room broke out in cheers.
Thayne slipped on the ring, after cleaning it, and you both shared a passionate kiss.
Who knew that a few boxes of donuts would lead to new family, friendships, and love.

Babies (Thayne Jasperson x Sister!Reader (Platonic))
Request: Okay, I got another one (I'm sorry, but the ideas just kinda flash a lot). Still with Thayne and sister (i'm in love with this) where the male ensemble found a rat running around the room, and they were all screaming their heads off and Thayne was just frantically shouting at his phone to his sister to come help him with the rat. She came in and caught the rat without any fuss (maybe she's a scientist who works with rats a lot) and commented on how bad they'd be as a roommate :)
Word Count: 504
Warning(s): Cursing, rats, shots
You lightly tapped your foot as you sat in Phillipa, Renée, and Jasmine's dressing room, the four of you talking. The girls, those three and the girls of the ensemble, were going out after the show and they wanted you to join you. Of course, you agreed, loving the chance to spend time with the girls.
"So what are we-" You were cut off by your phone ringing. You rolled your eyes before grabbing it from the table. "Give me a second."
You rose an eyebrow as you saw Thayne's contact on the screen. You answered anyway and put him on speaker. "Thayne I'm like 50 yard away. What's up?"
You simply got incoherent screaming in response. You heard his voice, along with Seth's, Jon's, Austin's, Sydney's, and Ephraim's.
"Okay, Thayne. Calm down. What the hell is going on?" You asked.
"There's a rat! Come save us, please!" Jon's voice was heard.
God, they were babies.
You let out a laugh and heard giggling from the girls in the room with you.
"You guys are such babies!" You responded. "I'll be there in a second."
"Hurry up!" Thayne cried before you hung up the phone.
You slipped you phone into your pocket before standing up from the couch and looking at the girls.
"I'll be back in a few minutes. Then you can tell me what we're going to be doing tonight." You smiled at them before walking out of the dressing room and making your way towards the male ensemble dressing room.
As you approached the room and peeked your head in, you spotted the guys, all of them staying away from the far corner of the room.
You stepping in and was immediately grabbed by the shoulders by Thayne.
"It's over there!" He whisper-yelled while he pointed towards the corner they were staying away from.
You turned your attention towards that corner, before letting out a small scoff at the sight of the most harmless rat you've ever seen.
"You all are babies." You muttered before slowly making your way towards the rat, your hands out to show you were harmless. Though you were familiar with rats and knew how to handle undomesticated rats, you still knew they were dangerous. You wouldn't be effected, due to having gotten you regular rabies shot just a week before, but the bite would still hurt.
You let out a breath of relief as the rat didn't bite and let you pick it up.
"You'd think you all wold be able to handle a rat, living in New York and all." You said as you encircled your hands around the small creature to make sure it wouldn't escape.
As you walked out of the room to go drop it off outside, you looked at the boys.
"Honestly, how does anyone live with you all?" You walked out of their sight.
Seth rested his hand on Thayne's shoulder, looking at him.
"How the hell does she do that?" Ephraim voiced their curiosity.
"She works with rats. Duh."

Thayne Jasperson x reader- pregnant
I was sitting in the bathroom of the Richard Rodgers theater. I cried as I saw the 2 lines on the test.
I walked out quickly. How was I going to tell Thayne? I looked at the test.
“Y/n what are you Doing-” Jazzy asked before she looked at what was in my hands. I fell into her embrace and cried. “Shh.” she said quietly.
“You’re gonna be okay.” She said patting my head. I held onto her arm. I have never cried in front of my friends. We walked into our dressing room (u guys share the same dressing room)
I heard the door opening. “Hey Jazzy. Hey Y/n” I heard the sweet sound of Thayne’s voice. “I’ll leave you guys be.” Jazzy said getting up and walking into the green room.
I cried not saying a word. “Shh Y/n. Jazzy said you wanted to tell me something.” He said. I nodded. I grabbed his hands.
“You promise you won’t get mad?” I asked. “I promised.” he said looking me in the eye.
“I’m pregnant.” I said. there was a moment of quietness. Then all of a sudden.....
Thayne jumped up screaming, “I’m gonna be a dad! I’m gonna be a dad!” He grabbed me and spinned me around.
“What’s all the noice?” Lin asked from outside my dressing room. Thayne smiled brightly.
“I’m gonna be a dad!” Thayne shouted. Lin smiled at the happy Thayne.
months later.....
I sat in the hospital bed and held my daughter in my arms and Thayne held our son in his arms. We had twins!
“Y/n can I name the son Samuel Alex Jasperson? or do you want to name him and change his last name to your last name?” He asked. I nodded.
“Can we name our daughter Eliza Peggy Jasperson?” I asked he nodded.
4 years later.....
“Mom! I drew a picture of daddy in his work clothes!” Eliza smiled. It was a drawing of Thayne with his Samuel Seabury outfit on.
“Mom! I drew you in that dress you wear when Vanessa babysits us!” It was a drawing of me in may Peggy dress.
“They both look beautiful. Why don’t you show daddy your drawings.” I smiled. They nodded and showed their drawings to Thayne.
Thayne and I had been married for 3 years now.

~~
You let your voice decrescendo to silence as you sang the final note of the final song of Hamilton. The lights on-stage went black and deafening applause filled the theater. The lights rose again and you and your fellow cast-mates walked to the front of the stage in a line. Oak was on your left and your boyfriend, Thayne was on the right. You joined hands with both men to take your bows, and Thayne squeezed your hand and you returned the gesture. It was almost your way of telling the other person they did a good job during performance without saying it outright.
You straightened up after your final bow and went to make your way off stage. Thayne never let go of your hand. As you enter the wings Thayne pulled you into a kiss. “You did good tonight.” He finally said as the audiences eyes were no longer on you.
“Thanks, you too.” You told him. You brought your hand up and rubbed it over your sore throat. “But now I need some water.” You wandered off to get a water bottle.
“Are you ok?” Thayne asked.
“Yeah, I think I just over did it tonight is all.” You shrugged. You grimaced as you swallowed air, testing the pain in your throat. You gulped down a bottle of water, relishing in the coolness of it. You took another drink then sputtered and coughed, causing more pain.
You went and changed into your normal outfit and sought out Thayne. He was, of course, at the snack table. He was laughing at something Gregory was saying. He raked a hand through his dark blonde hair, sweeping it to the right. You walked up and snatched a half eaten cookie from him. “Hey!” He protested in a whinny tone. “I was gonna eat that!” He complained as you took a bite out of it.
“Well good thing you love me.” You responded before leaning in and pressing a kiss to his cheek. He reached out, grabbed the last of the cookie and shoved it in his mouth. “Do you ever stop eating?” You asked him as he chewed up the cookie. He swallowed it and smiled at you. You shook your head with a smile and grabbed your stuff and went to leave the theater. Thayne grabbed his stuff and walked along side of you, fingers threaded with yours.
Some time after being home, you and Thayne climbed in bed. You curled up next to him as his arm came to wrap around you. He pressed a kiss to the top of you head. “Good night, Y/N.” He told you.
“Good night, Thayne.” You fell asleep laying against Thayne, his arm holding you tightly against him. You woke up like that in the middle of the night. You grimaced as you realized your mouth was dry, as well as your throat. You sat up, pulling away from Thayne. He mumbled and blinked awake.
“Y/N?” He asked in a sleepy voice.
“I just need some water. Go back to sleep.” You leaned down and kissed him softly. You pulled back and he smiled a bit before his eyes fluttered shut again. So you waltzed down to the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water. You downed it only to find out it did very little for the dry, sticky feeling left in your mouth. You abesnt-mindly breathed in through your nose. You found out your nose was plugged and it sent you into a coughing fit. You drank another glass of water and rummaged for some cold medicine. You took some and plodded back up to the room. You crawled under the covers and went to curl back against Thayne but stopped. You were clearly getting sick and didn’t want to make Thayne sick as well. He loved performing in Hamilton, if he was sick he wouldn’t be able to. So you turned your back on your boyfriend and curled into a ball to go back to sleep.
When Thayne woke up there wasn’t the usual warmth of someone against his side. He blearily looked around and saw you on the other side of the bed. You were curled up in a ball, preserving your own heat. He scooted closer and ran a hand lightly up and down your arm. You murmured and turned toward the touch. You blinked and were greeted with Thayne looking down at you. “You ok?” He asked.
You furrowed your brow in confusion. “Why wouldn’t I be?” You asked. You could hear your voice sound weird to your own ears. You were clearly sick now. You coughed and pulled yourself into a sitting position. Thayne rubbed your back.
“You’re sick.” He stated, not asked. You nodded pathetically and resisted the urge to lean against Thayne. “Come here.” He insisted ad tried to tug you closer to him. You protested and fought against him. “What?” He asked as he stilled.
“I’m just tried. I just wanna go back to sleep.” You insisted. You flopped backwards onto the pillows instead. Thayne made a pondering noise but didn't say anything else. Your sickness drove you back into sleep quickly. When you next woke up Thayne was shaking you lightly. You looked up at him, his hair was hanging down slightly obstructing his vision. He took his hand and swept to the side again. “Hm?” You sleepily mumbled.
“I made you some tea.” He explained. “It should be good for your throat.” You couldn’t argue so you sat up. You noticed the time and gasped in shock which cause another fit of coughing. “Y/N, are you alright?” He asked. He sat next to you and went to rub your back but you jumped from the bed and went across the room. You coughed a few more times and took a deep breath when the fit passed.
“What are you still doing here?” You asked him. He cocked his head in confusion. “You’re missing the matinee.”
“Yeah. I called Lin and told him neither of us would be there.” He explained.
“Why?” You asked, slightly angrily. This caused your voice to squeak and another round of coughing to happen.
“That’s why.” Thayne said referring to your coughing. “You can’t sing so clearly we couldn’t go to the show. But you seemed pissed and you’re distancing yourself and I don’t know why.”
“Thayne, you could still do the show. You’re fine. Go. Make it to the evening showing.” You urged.
“Y/N, I’m not gonna leave you while your sick. Why would I do that?”
“Thayne, I’m trying to keep you from getting sick. I know how much you love performing so I want you to be able to.” You explained, slightly irritated.
Thayne stood up and walked over to you. “You wanna know how much I care about the show?” He asked. You simply cocked your head to the side. He leaned in and kissed you soundly. He even walked forward until you were pressed back against the wall with Thayne blacking the way forward. He pulled back after a few moments. You gasped, trying to resupply your lungs with oxygen. “I love you way more then any show. I want to stay here and help you get better. I wouldn’t enjoy performing if you weren’t beside me and were instead laying here at home sick.”
“It’s just a cold, I can take care of myself.” You mumbled but all the fight had left you.
“I know you can.” Thayne said. “But I want to help. Now come on.” Thane grabbed you hands and pulled you back over to the bed and practically pushed you so you were sitting on the bed once more. He handed you the mug, the tea was now cool enough to drink but still warm enough to help your throat. Thayne jumped up onto the bed on his side. The two of you talked while you drank the tea. Thayne took the mug when he finished and headed to the kitchen. You laid down, your back to Thayne’s side of the bed. When Thayne came back he just wrapped an arm around your waist and spooned you from behind. You dozed off easily.
It had been a week and neither of you had been back to the theater. You stood in the kitchen and stirred the tea in front of you. You tapped the spoon again the edge of the mug as you finished stirring, knocking the excess tea off the spoon. You dropped the spoon in the sink and walked to the bedroom. You placed the mug on the bedside table and sat down next to Thayne who was fast asleep. You started running your fingers through his soft hair. He hummed as he woke up, though it was scratchy. “Wake up, sleepyhead.” You said quietly and cheerfully. He opened his eyes and sniffed before sighing and grabbing a tissue. He blew his nose and you laughed when he let out a disgusted groan. “You know, you didn’t have to kiss me.”
He sat up so he could drink his tea. “Oh no. This is all your fault.” He blamed, his voice a little distorted due to congestion.
“How is it my fault?” You asked with a laugh.
“You stole my cookie and took a bite out of it. You contaminated my cookie with your germs.” He said and then began pouting.
“Oh you’ll be fine.” You said. You kissed the top of his head and took his mug when he drank all the tea. “Now get some more sleep.”
“Fine, but I still blame you.” He grumbled.
“Well then,” You said before you left the room. “Good thing you love me.”

You and Thayne pulled up to the bowling alley, and the weight of what you were about to do was weighing on you. You were about to meet the rest of the Hamilton cast, and you we’re completely terrified.
“I don’t think I can do this, Thayne.” You said just as he was about to exit the driver’s seat.
Thayne closed the door again, and looked at you, “Y/n, you’ve been putting this off for months. The cast wants to meet you!”
“I’ve already met the cast!” You argued.
“You’ve met Lin and Jonathan. That is not the whole cast.” He countered.
Ufh. He was right.
You sighed, “I’m just nervous. What if they don’t like me?”
“They’ll love you,” Thayne reached over and took your hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze. “because I love you.”
“You’re so cheesy.” You sighed, “Okay. Okay, let’s go before I change my mind.”
“Yes!” Thayne opened his door again and you did the same to your own. You two met at the front of the car and locked hands to walk towards the bowling alley. Thayne ended up pulling you most of the way in excitement.
The doors opened and the sound of Billboard Chart’s: Top 40’s songs played overhead. Crashing pins and cheering sounded out from your right.
You looked over to see a Lin and Jon cheering excitedly. You looked down the alley and saw that one of them had gotten a strike. Thayne pulled you towards them, announcing your arrival by joining in with the cheering.
“Oak!” He let go of your hand to greet a man you assumed was Oak.
“Thayne! Perfect timing!” Oak boomed. “We we’re just about to start a new game!”
Oak was seated at the scoreboard thing pressing buttons to start a new game.
“Great, you can add me and Y/n.” Thayne told him.
Oak turned around upon hearing your name. He caught your eye and smiled. “Are you Y/n?”
You nodded, too scared to trust your voice.
Oak stood up and you fully realized how tall he was. He shook your hand.  “It’s nice to meet you.  We’ve been begging Thayne to bring you around. He never shuts up about you. Hey, everyone! Meet Y/n!”
“Y/n?!” Everyone exclaimed, collectively turning towards you and Thayne.
“Oh my god, she’s real!” One of them, you couldn’t see who (probably Anthony), exclaimed and you we’re immediately surrounded.
Questions shot out of the cast’s mouths and you tried to answer as many as you could, saying hi, and giving hugs. Thayne watched from the side smiling affectionately at you. He was happy that the cast like you and that you had, somewhat, come out of your shell.
Pretty soon, Oak had finished entering all the names and you were up first.
“Go, Y/n!” Daveed chanted from the crowd as you picked up your ball.  The chant was followed by some encouraging whooping.
You took a deep breath and walked forward. You took aim, letting your arm sling back, then forward again. You let go and the ball hit the floor and started tumbling down the alley.
It seemed as if the whole group went quiet as your ball hit the pins. all of them went down, except for number 6. It wobbled for a few seconds, looking like it was going to keep standing, then at the last second it toppled over and onto the floor with a clank.
The group erupted into cheers, and you jumped up and down with joy. “Yes!” You exclaimed.
Pippa laughed a bit at this and said, “She’s a keeper, Thayne.”
Thayne smiled lovingly, and nodded, “I know.”
