For me I have a lot of health issues and can’t work because of it, and family issues as well, but if it was a perfect world, I would choose two kids. That way they have each other.

that auditory processing disorder feel when you’re trying to navigate airport security and they keep getting mad at you for “ignoring instructions” but you cannot process their words

this kind of situation is why i wish all types of security were given training on compassionate communication because if you can see someone in distress you should first wonder if communication is clear and equal

it's also part of why i think they should carry flash cards and extremely clearly signposted instructions ideally with pictograms
