A little thing I drew based off an idea I shared with @solmints-messyocdiary
"Alice" has very dangerous episodes of lucid dreaming/astral projection. She's afraid sometimes that she might never wake from them.
There is a particular poppy plant that grows beside the River Lethe, near the dominion of Hypnos, god of sleep. Anyone who ingests the plant may walk the land caught between dreams and the waking world for a time. However, if the person fails to wake up at the end of the alotted time, he slips into a peaceful death.
Darrell takes a mouthful of the poppy petals to help "Alice" when she got stranded during a very important quest (perhaps the Titans are thinking of rising up again). He manages to lead her back to her body, but runs out of time.
Thanatos comes to guide him to the Underworld, but Darrell has other plans. Summoning Ares' horses and binding death, he rides back into the realm of the living to help in the battle.
