LIA AND MARKOS: - nothing listed for lia! - "He [markos] is a Basque sailor. He was born the 7th of July, 1933. In 1937, when the bombing of Gernika happened he was 4 years old and he survived along with his two little brothers. Now, he is 35 years old and he is 2,10m tall (thanks to his father's genetics). He became a mercenary because the Spanish army persecuted him for being Basque (taking in count that the TF2 universe is in 1968 more or less), so he went to America alone. He owns a whaling ship from his mother's family. He is an extrovert, he likes talking to people and making them laugh, he knows a lot about alcohol. Man is dumb, like literally. He ate one of Medic's mega baboon hearts because Soy made him believe they were strawberry flavored. Or he didn't know that the enemy Demo was flirting with him until a year later. Idk I just feel like he's really dumb, he also doesn't care about anything.He doesn't know Spanish and he finds a bit difficult to talk in English, expect him to talk to you in Basque. And I'll shut up now lmao"

There should never be more than one Target on the battlefield. For several reasons, one being that if both teams are down a member, it's fair in the administrator's eyes. The other being that there's only one guy. He's very stressed about being found out."

Was poking around with servos today, blacked out, and suddenly 6 hours later I made a sentry (yes it does beep! Just a tad quiet)

Has both an automatic and a manual mode that it toggles between with a press of a button! The led lights up when automatic mode is active

Currently working out some small bugs like if it's been in manual mode for a while, switching back to auto mode makes the servo speed Very Fast for no reason (fixed upon reset, requires some serial prints to figure out the problem), wiring the pot in backwards (it should turn left when moved left and vice versa; literally 3 second fix) and various button debounce issues, but nothing too big

Final servo will be bigger than this, this one was just for testing

This will be for @teet-feet-two 's engineer cosplay! :)

Medic becoming faster if attatched to scout is actually so funny bc just. Medic yelling at Scout to slow tf down so he can heal the lil shit and Scout just balantly ignoring so Medic just. Gets faster because dammit if he's going to half-ass his job

And Medic matches Scout's speed even in MVM with Scouts full upgrade so like. How fast rly is this man—

👁👁 a little! i don't play much of Live TF2 these days, only because my computer would rather explode than allow me to run it at a good enough framerate, though there's a few settings ive only experimented with recently on other source games.

i deeply love tf2 as what it is still more or less, it's mostly my laptop that's always been a problem is all :(

#ask #anon #and it wasnt always that way! i use to have a REALLY good laptop (granted it was a generic dell laptop of some kind)#but it burned out back in 2017 and i couldnt fix it <- knows nothing about fixing laptops and shouldnt have attempted it himself #i miss that laptop dearly you have no idea.......#i could run so much stuff on that badboy.....#anyway because of my laptop (and internet) i dont play a lot of games as of late #last few games ive played are Runescape. Crash Team Racing. and a sourcemod name of Pre Fortress 2.#ive been playing that last one on and off because i have a lot of fun playing a somewhat beta recreation of TF2 #but i have to warn you that if you want to play it. turn off voice chat and text chat. theres only usually one populated server #and most of the people ive had to play with there fucking suck nuts and bolts #if it weren't for that id reccomend it more or less.#i get a lot of enjoyment out of the gameplay changes they make. from the grenades. the armour system. and some changes to weapons #if you play PF2 on players muted and with sprays disabled? id say its a fun experience #all classes are a little more mobile due to all having grenades. heavy less so but yeah #you can definitely tell how much grenades distupts the core of TF2s gameplay. but i like the option of having both games #theres no loadouts in PF2 though. youre restricted to the beta loadouts of each class.#and its not necessarily a ''Pure Beta Recreation'' since they have engineer hauling and upgradable buildings #but i dont mind personally. the grenades are a lot of fun to experiment with #dispensers also deal damage when exploding. and ive used that a lot on 2fort while guarding intel #sometimes an enemy rounds a corner and doesnt see it. and im notified on my HUD and i instantly blow them into gibs #fucked up a medic and heavy's uber push because they werent expecting it #exploded the dispenser in front of the heavy so the heavy lost 80% of his health. shot him with one blast and dead #then chased down the medic before he could even really process what happened to be able to uber #its really fun to experiment with dumb shit and see what you can get away with #just the playerbase sucks really. keep VC and text off and sprays disabled and you might have a fun time #youre also a lot tankier due to the armour system so thats kinda neat in a way #anyway thank you for the ask anon :)#id like to play TF2 more if it werent because my laptop

not sure if it's just me but I still think gunplay (and gameplay in general) feels far better in titanfall 2 than in apex legends

guns both feel better to shoot and feel more reliable/effective

which is probably either mostly or at least in part because apex switched pretty much every gun from hitscan to projectile, except I think maybe the charge rifle? wait no just checked, apparently it got changed to a projectile as well just a month ago.

(I get switching all the guns from hitscan to projectile for the purposes of the larger map and it being a battle royale and making sure that you can't just snipe people from halfway across the map with an ar. but it does make the guns feel worse to use. not sure if the hybrid hitscan-projectile method — where guns are hitscan up to a specific range then become projectiles past that range — would work for apex)

movement is just. undeniably better in titanfall. which yeah okay apex isn't really a movement shooter. but still

also titanfall has mechs so. instantly the better game

#basically: yeah I get that battle royale games kinda need bullets to be projectiles and not hitscan for the sake of balance and the like #but it does create the very funny appearance of #all guns having gotten worse muzzle velocities and reduced effectiveness over thirty years of weapons development #all the new ''upgraded/improved'' versions of the tf2 guns having slower ttk/doing less damage than they did in tf2 #which again I get is because having that low a ttk in a battle royale would probably make the game suck for most people #also the increased recoil makes it seem like either the legends are poorly trained/weak as crap compared to pilots #(which I don't think works because ash has the same recoil as all the other legends despite being a pilot)#or the weapons have not only gotten weaker #but somehow have worse recoil mitigation systems than they used to #(which also doesn't work because. why)#(yes I know using gameplay to determine canon isn't smart but I'm dumb)
