And it's harvesting season in the Wayanad district of Kerala, India. These Tellicherry black peppercorns are now fully ripe and ready to be plucked at our farmer partner's farm. What next? The peppercorns will be separated from the vines and then sun-dried until they take on a black-brown colour. After the drying process is complete, the peppercorns are cleaned to remove farm-level impurities including stems, soil, or any other seeds. The peppercorns are then sifted through mesh screens to sort them into different sizes, a process known as garbling. Garbled peppercorns are more uniform in size and colour and therefore command a higher rate at auction centers across the state of Kerala. Tellicherry peppercorns are one of the biggest in the world with the special extra bold grade measuring close to 5 mm in size. Bigger size also means better and bolder flavour with higher heat levels. Think of the Tellicherry variety as the best of the best when it comes to black pepper similar to what Wagyu is considered in the world of beef. @thesaborco is working towards bringing some of this special variety of black pepper to the Australian shores. Will keep you updated as we progress. #tellicherrypepper #wayanad #harvest #blackpepper #kerala #india #singleoriginspices #food #traceability #foodstartup #thesaborco (at Wayanad, India) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cn5-4eNPs6d/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

High in the mountains above the Malabar Coast a worker picks strands of pepper, placing them in a cape like sack which he wears draped and knotted around his shoulders. Shot in 2017, for The Reluctant Trading Experiment….where you can buy this delicious organic telicherry pepper!! #india #indianspices #malabar #kerala #reluctanttradingexperiment #pepper #tellicherrypepper #tellicherryblackpepper #spices #pepperpicking https://www.instagram.com/p/B-qMnOal9Hh/?igshid=12jbxqrjvnuzj

@puliyogaretravels ‘s travelogue video clip on the #kanjivaram ‘thuni’ #murukku got me so motivated, I had to try and replicate it stateside. 1 cup each of plain #rice and #urad soaked and stone ground with #cumin , #hing and #tellicherrypepper . Filled a piping bag with a small nozzle with the thick batter and fried them. Given a nonexistent talent for piping patterns, by the time I finally shed the batter, all semblance of design was out. Just crunchy nuggets of pure divine flavor. #vegan #glutenfree

What’s the construction scene in Denver like?
My fiancé got a job in Denver so I’ll be heading out there very soon! So, I’m hoping to get an idea of which companies are good to work for and what kind of build is most common (ie healthcare, industrial, higher education, etc). I’ll be applying for stuff on the project management side, preferably for a GC. My current company is actually really good about keeping people within about 2 hours of the regional office - is that hard to find out there? (I’m guessing it would be). I’ve never actually had to formally apply for a full time position before so I’m not even sure what kind of questions I should be asking here.. Anything I should know before moving out there?
Edit: thought of another important thing: what companies should be avoided?
