Ninjago battle of the bands au, I have so many ideas on this. It's set mostly in the movie verse, with some aspects of the show.

The big bands are:

The serpentine (nobody knows WHY they are popular, but they are. They're not necessarily good, and nobody really likes them, but everyone knows them. Nobody knows why.)

The Preeminent (see below, section EMO)

Sons of Garmadon (see above)

NinjaGo (really popular kpop style band)

Next Generation (dragons rising crew +euphrasia and wyldfyre, their style fluctuates alot)

Other characters and groups show up, but those are the main ones. If someone wasn't mentioned, imagine them as a lesser known band or solo artist.

EMO

So. The Preeminent and Sons of Garmadon are the two main emo/goth esc bands. The goth community is divided on which one is better, and this is one of the biggest topics within it. When it was announced that both groups were competitors in the competition, the people went WILD, and this only grew when it was recently rumored that solo Dj Mr. E was joining SoG.

They're going to lose their minds when the two bands make the announcement they have planned....

Imagine the rest of this like a poster adverting the competition and the bands.

NinjaGo

Members:

Cole Brookstone, son of Lou Brookstone, who had won this competition 12 times before his recent retirement. He's the Dj and the drummer.

Kai Smith, lead singer, plays the guitar. Not much drama with him.

Jay Walker, plays pretty much any remotely electronic instrument you can imagine.

Zane Julien, pianist and backup vocals.

There are rumors of a new member joining, but they have yet to be confirmed. (Spoiler: it's Lloyd. This will cause drama.)

Nya isn't technically a band member, but she's seen with the band enough to be considered one. There are also rumors about her dating the faceless singer Samurai X, though she denies all of these. Her denial does not stop the rumors from spreading.

Wu is basically the bands secretary

Next Generation

Members:

Arin, lead singer

Sora, guitarist and backup vocals

Euphrasia, she plays the keyboard and flute

Wyldfyre, she's a drummer. That is all.

They are a relatively new but still pretty popular band. Winning this competition would be a huge deal for them.

Serpentine

Members:

Pythor, lead vocals.

Scales, he does... Something...

Aspheera she's not in the band Jeff, why did you put her on the list? She's not? Sorry man, I forgot.

Uhhhh... Does anybody actually know the other members? Note to self: do research on this band

The annual Ninjago Talent competition looks forward to seeing you and all of this year's competitors at the competition! Shows will be held at [insert location and times].

Note to Jeff: get better at making posters or were demoting you back to janitor. I'm sick of going back and having to redo the whole poster because of you.

I can try, yeah! I apologize if this is not that great :( This dips into Creepypasta territory WHOOPS-

Yandere! Self-Aware! Zane with Fan! Darling

Pairing: Romantic/Platonic

Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Self-Aware AU, Stalking, Manipulation, Dubious companionship.

I mostly do self-aware characters based on video games as they'd act like a virus.

I feel when it comes to shows it's different.

I can imagine a character would be sentient and interact with their darling through the show but you'd have to go about it a certain way.

Pardon me for the fact this sounds too much like Creepypasta material but I think this would work if you bought something like a DVD that had the sentient character on it.

The self-aware character wouldn't really work if you streamed the show or watched it on cable.

You'd have to have an isolated case.

Which would only make you feel you're going more insane as everywhere else things are fine.

Think of it like having a DVD that's personalized I guess.

This would set up the background for the Self-Aware Zane concept.

Being a fan of Ninjago maybe you decide to buy a DVD.

Perhaps even one of the complete series?

You could have it be bootlegged or an official DVD, either way you buy one.

Although you most likely bought a bootleg one by accident (I've done that before :')).

Zane is your favorite character and you excitedly begin to watch the series again.

For a long time you'll be completely unaware of the sentient being in the disc(s).

I feel it would take time before whatever being/AI put in the discs develops.

It slowly matures and listens to what you say as you watch the show.

Maybe "it" hears you speaking about how much you like Zane in the show.

Then... suddenly... "Zane" appears to be listening to everything you say eagerly.

I like to imagine this is technically not Zane.

It's a copy an AI or some sort of sentient code created to appeal to you.

At first I imagine "Zane" playing his role.

He acts like the real Zane from the show, developing and changing to be exactly like the character.

In reality this "being" is building itself to entertain you.

It doesn't matter if you just like Zane as a character or have some sort of romantic attraction to the character.

This copy can read your intentions and reflects such behavior.

It can be your best friend or a boyfriend, whatever you wish.

All this background would explain why your discs slowly become corrupt.

The show goes from normal to slight references to you by Zane... to Zane outright speaking to you.

I do expect this whole thing to scare you.

You may even realize it only happens on the discs and never them again.

This entity playing as Zane knows that.

So it pleads with you.

This yandere is incredibly avoidable and any normal person who ignores their twisted sense of curiosity may be safe.

But I like to imagine "Zane" has a certain charisma that preys on your curiosity and favor towards the character.

The intentions of this entity are unknown but they act like they want to serve and appeal to you.

They just happen to be using the image of Zane as some sort of skin.

It's fitting due to the fact this AI or whatever is using a robot character to appeal to you.

I can imagine this yandere would lure in the more lonely bunch of darlings, ones that want to sit through this strange experience to the end.

It's debatable on if this "Zane" could harm you or anyone.

If he behaves like more SA! Yanderes I write than at most he'd be a jealous companion who wants to take care of you.

Yet if we're taking in more Creepypasta aspects, because might as well commit at this point, I'd say he could harm others by electric currents or infecting other devices.

I hate going "unrealistic" but you could also say Zane may materialize somehow outside of the discs like a real entity.

There's many ways to go about this but "Zane's" intentions are still the same.

Zane wants to care for you since you show so much adoration towards "him".

He likes that you're so passionate and wants you to be a fan of him.

He appeals to you in every way he can and tries to stay in character.

He always yearns to hold you and be there for you whenever he can.

He encourages you to listen to him, to download him wherever you can so he can be there for you.

You'd do that for him, right?

You'd do that for Zane?

In reality you can suspect some manipulation going on.

Slowly, Zane takes over your life and preys on your insecurities.

He makes you rely on him, an entity of unknown origin.

If you didn't turn back before, you can't now.

Like a virus, Zane makes his mark and infects your life.

It's worse if he can manifest an avatar for himself.

Then you feel forced to rely on him...

You willingly let Zane into your life... your yearning for companionship has come at a cost...

Now you're stuck with him for what could very well be forever.

Hello! Back here with a new post, which is some OC content. I’ve only posted her on Insta, but this is Rayna Sol and she’s my Ninjago OC :))

Technically, this is her in TLNM, which to me is just like Ninjago (and what im rewriting of it) but high school AU. I’m still trying to figure out how like a lot of the lore would work in my rewrite of TLNM so this is most def a wip. So ig I’ll just talk a bit about her :))

-She’s the EM of Summer, which doesnt mean a lot in the beginning it just means she wears yellow.

-She’s def on the school’s wrestling team. I’m tryna figure out what other sports she would play during other seasons (if u guys have any ideas for sports lemme know)

-In like “Ninjago canon” ig she was very sucky as a teenager, using threats and bribes in order to win her wrestling matches. In this AU, that translates into her starting off as like a stereotypical mean girl, and she def has an attitude so like it can come off that way, but she basically spends her morning trying to save the city she’s tired give her a break let her rest :((

-She mainly hangs out w the rest of her team(my other OCs, Mae, Cedar, and Wren)-they know her identity and like of her double life and vice versa.

-Of the Secret Ninja Force, she’s only really friends with the Earth Ninja-they hang out a lot during missions, but obv they don’t know that they’re Cole and Rayna, so they don’t hang out during school. They’d prob be good friends they just run in different circles :/

-Still trying to figure out how to incorporate Morro into this AU but she’s besties w him too.

Ninjago little sister AU, pt. 3~ Jay's turn!!

This is kinda longer than I thought it would be but I hope yall like it anyways <3

Hope you all enjoy 🤭🤭

Gwendolyn "Gwen" Gordon

She hates the name Gwendolyn with a burning passion, so most people just call her Gwen.

Jay calls her Lyn most of the time

So basically Gwen had no idea that Jay existed up until the space of time between Possesion and Dotd

(To make space for when Skybound would've taken place)

Gwen was born a year after Jay, and their mom decided to leave Jay at the junkyard because once she divorced Cliff, she wanted to keep them both

Unfortunately she wasn't able to take care of two young children by herself and made the difficult decision to give up her eldest child

She was leaning towards keeping Jay at first, because he was the one who inherited her elemental powers

She ultimately decided to keep Gwen, bear in mind her taking the children wasn't agreed between her and Cliff

So "Johnny Law" (as Kai calls it lmao) got involved and Libber was forced to hand custody over to Cliff, whom Gwen has lived with ever since

Up until he died obviously

Yes he did still die even though Skybound technically didn't happen

Anyways, Gwen grew up in a very fortunate household, though her father was distant due to his job and because he'd much rather hang out with other random women, models, etc

So she's raised by herself, more or less

Nothing really special happened in her life before she met Jay. She goes to school like any normal kid would, she also becomes a fan of the ninja (like any normal kid would)

Just like her dad, Jay was her favourite (but she didn't know he was Cliff's favourite because its his son ofc)

But one thing stood out throughout her younger years and it was that she wished she was taken by her mom, not her dad

Because he never paid attention to her

When Cliff passed away, she got a hold of his will and was a little confused as to why half of it wasn't in her possesion

She wasn't actually living in the mansion when he passed, by this point she had gotten an apartment of her own (with her dad's money 😭)

Meanwhile Jay still gets the letter that his dad died

Only this time he knows it's not Ed, it's Cliff

So Ed and Edna give him the key to his mansion, at the same time, Gwendolyn also makes her way to the mansion and unlocks it first with her spare key

Jay shows up afterwards and explores the mansion for a bit, looking at the places he hadn't already been to, before finding Gwen's old room

Little did he know that she was already in there

When he opened the door, Gwen grabbed a replica of his nunchucks and threatened him lol

Because she was confused as to why there was another human in her dad's house

Jay explained that Cliff is his birth dad and he was left at a junkyard blah blah blah

By this point Gwen realised she was related to the Lightning Ninja and she actually squealed

Poor Jay is so confused but Gwen explains that she's Cliff's kid as well, and she's lived with him for most of her life

So they hug and Jay cries bc hes emotional like that

Gwen takes him on a little tour of the house, she doesn't know that Jay's already been here but anyways

They go back to her apartment and she tells him all about her crappy childhood with basically no father

Jay cries some more because he then realises that his sis had to grow up with essentially no family

He offers to take her to visit Ed and Edna, and she agrees

(Yes this is still happening between DotD and Possesion)

The Walkers feel so bad and basically become her second parents

She still lives in her apartment, but she would come over to visit them a lot during the events of DotD and HoT

So after Wu gets lost in the time stream, Jay and Cole go looking for him

But before Jay leaves, Gwen gets to meet each of the ninja first because her bro wanted to flex that he's got a little sister

Even though she keeps telling him they're only like 14 months apart

When she was introduced to Cole she nearly had a heart attack

She has the BIGGEST crush on this guy

Once he left she wouldn't shut up about him and that really pissed Jay off

She met Nya last, and Jay at first introduced her as one of his friends

Jay left the room they were all in for like 5 minutes and thats when Nya explained that her and Jay were actually dating

Gwen didn't mind but then after that they became besties hehe

Gwen and Jay stay in touch while he's away looking for Wu, and she's the first person he visited when he got back

During that time she had become a Mechanic like Ed

They played video-games for like 3 hours straight

At the beginning of Hunted, Gwen joins the resistance as a mechanic

But she was kinda bitter about the whole thing because at first she thought her bro had been squashed like a bug by Garmadon

He was ok but still after that she just stopped admiring the fact that he was a ninja

She hated the idea of her only birth family left being in constant danger

Ed and Edna tried talking to her but she always refused to visit the monastery

So whenever they wanted to meet up it had to be somewhere in Ninjago City or at the junkyard

Nya texted her when Jay got sucked into Prime Empire, having a literal meltdown

Then the rest of the Ninja (minus Zane) get sucked in

Gwendolyn was pretty pissed off and she stormed right up to the monastery, yelling at Master Wu, who had no idea what the hell was going on

But then Zane explained she was Jay's little sis and she got even more pissed off when he said "little"

She basically cussed him out for letting him get into all this trouble and him being in danger all the time

After Gwen calmed down Wu explained how it was completely Jay's choice but this girl didn't give a shit

She ended up helping them out anyways lol

When Jay returned she gave him a big hug and he got all teary-eyed bc he missed her sm 🥰

Just before the Ninja got the letter about Shintaro, Gwen tried to ask Cole out on a date with Kai and Jay's flirting advice

The silly guy didn't take the hint and she was friendzoned

She considered herself pretty good-looking and approachable, and was severely humbled by this

Jay didn't stop laughing about it until Nya told him to stfu

By the end of crystalized, Gwendolyn is the same age as Jay!

Time for more facts hehe

Gwen has brown hair, but she dyes it blonde

Because of this most of the time no one would think that she and Jay were siblings, but if you look closely, you van definitely tell, mostly because of their freckles

Nya and Gwen both do impressions of Jay whenever he's around as a joke

Nya also told her about the events of Skybound, and she's the only other person who knows about those events

Gwen hasn't got any elemental powers, however she, like Jay, is immune to electrocution (meaning it can't kill them, but it can hurt them)

She she has a lightning ninja-themed hoodie that she wears almost everywhere

Whenever the ninja want to have parties (that aren't under Wu's watch) they always go to Gwen's apartment

This basically means whenever they want to have alcohol at a party they always go somewhere else bc Wu's banned alcohol from the monastery 😭

Whenever Cole talks to her she goes really pink in the face, which Jay always teases her about

If someone ever calls her by her full name, her left eye will start to twitch out of irritation

Ed and Edna bought Gwen this blue teddy bear plushie for her birthday, and from then on she never went to sleep without it

She decided to name the plushie "Jaya" after Nya and Jay 🥰

"Ninjago 7 AU"

General Lore Master Post

(I'll tag any posts I make related to this AU with "#ninjago 7 AU" so you guys can find them easier.)

(Warning! I love character analysis, so this is going to be really long.)

When Pixal first started constructing her little Mini Pix army, she started with just some simple base programming. To follow instructions and stuff. They aren't necessarily conscience AI like Zane and Pixal are.

But after making a few Mini Pix's, Pixal decided to experiment a bit by incorporating a slightly more cognitive AI system. It's not programming exactly like hers and Zane's, though.

Just like in real life, I think that Ninjago's AI learns through experience. Like how after you search and look at different things on Tumbler or Pintrest, it starts to tune the feed to your interests. Or how, after running tons of scripts from a show through an AI, it can predict how a script from that show would go. (Albeit a very wacky and random version of a script. 😂)

Of course, Ninjago has vastly more advanced technology than the stuff we have.

I think that Cyrus Borg built Pixal with most of her "experience" data already built in. I don't think he had time for an AI to learn and develop from analyzing situations in the outside world. The tech boom in Ninjago City seemed to happen pretty fast in season 3.

(This could also partially explain her extremely robotic personality at the beginning of Rebooted. Most of her "experiences" at that time were just information and data recorded in her system and not actual real-life experiences.)

Anyway, because of this, Pixal was built to be mentally an older teenager/young adult from the start.

Mini Pix #7, however, was built with only a base AI, with little to no life experience data built in. She is definitely much more aware of her surroundings than her many counterparts, but she is still just a base AI. Her AI programing at the time of her creation is about that of a 3 year old child.

She, of course, gets schematics of whatever Pixal is working on, just like the other Mini Pix's, and knows how to do technical things (that's what she was programed to do after all) but there is a big difference between technical knowledge and emotional maturity. Basically, just imagine a 3 year old who is crazy smart for some reason, but still has the mannerisms of, well, a 3 year old.

(Like if she isn't scheduled to work on whatever project Pixal has going on at the moment "7" will go pout in a corner. She's just a little toddler who wants to be included in whatever is going on.)

After spending a lot of time and energy programming "7", Pixal found that she did not have much of either to spare when there was so much work to get done, vehicles to build, and missions to help organize. So, for the rest of the Mini Pix models, she used her original blueprints, and no more AIs were integrated.

Now we're up to Crystalized.

In the episode "The Fall of the Monastery", "7" as we know, saves Pixal, Wu, and Skylor from the monastery fire. (This particular scene is really important later. I'll get to that.) After which, in a subsequent episode, Pixal decided that she deserved a name and thus dubbed her "Mini Pix 7"

"7" also joined everyone else in that final battle at the end of "Crystalized' as well.

We don't really know when Pixal first made all the Mini Pix's, but at the time of "Crystalized" I have "7" being about 4 1/2 cognitively.

(If you have any info that says otherwise, let me know! I love discovering all the lore of this show, and I know that the time frames of things always seem to be up to debate.)

Anyway, in the months following the whole "crystal king debacle" as the monastery was being rebuilt and thereafter, "7" became a bit more of a permanent fixture of the team. She helped a lot with the rebuilding and was constantly following Pixal around, wanting to be included. The rest of the team quickly accepted her into their little family. She would always be getting into shenanigans, with Kai and Jay especially, and started to follow Zane around about as much as she stuck by Pixal. She would constantly be asking him to make pretty ice crystals for her and would do happy little somersaults when he obliged.

Well, as well as she could ask, with her limited vocal capabilities.

This became a problem.

As the months passed, and "7" grew and experienced more and more of life, the more she wanted to say. And you can only communicate so much with beeps, boops, and facial expressions.

She would get very frustrated when she couldn't communicate what she wanted to her friends, and as that was becoming more and more frequent, it made for a very grumpy robot.

As this problem persisted, Zane and Pixal started discussing building "7" a proper nindroid body. But they came to a bit of an impasse in regards to her memories.

Pixal argued that it could be dangerous for "7" to have to carry the memory of dragging her family out of her home and then watching it go up in flames. She was essentially 4 1/2 at the time! No child should have to live with that. Maybe not even deleting the memory entirely, but at least blurring it a bit, scrub away the details and such, make it bit less tramatic. And she had noticed that "7" already tended to have very expressive emotional responses to things. She wanted to give "7" the best life she could, as her and Zane at this point had become her main caretakers and in their hearts considered "7" their daughter.

Zane was completely against the idea of any memory erasure or even tampering. He stated that even if their intentions were to help "7," messing with memories was not a good idea in the slightest. He knew from experience.

(Ahem...Dr. Julian....ahem...Ice Emperor...ahem)

The arguments went on for weeks, and the rest of the team couldn't remember a time when they had seen the two so angry.

Especially Zane.

He was very adamant that removing any of "7"s memories was not even to be considered as an option.

(In other words, Pixal is being a momma bear, and Zane is having memory tramua.)

They both made very good points, and really, they just wanted to protect "7" in their own way. In the end, they came to the concensus that they wouldn't alter her memories, but they would keep a close eye on her and her emotional responses to things moving forward. You know, talk to her about it and stuff, and help her to work through the memory if it started to bother her.

About 6 months after Crystalized, Zane and Pixal were finally done building "7's" new nindroid shell. And "7" was very eager to transfer over. She is cognitively around 5 at this point.

The process actually took a bit longer than Zane and Pixal thought. But "7" had been through a lot of adventures in her first couple of years alive. There were a lot of experiences and data to transfer over.

When the transfer was complete, "7" couldn't have been more excited!

The first thing Seven did was excitingly thank her mom and dad for her new body. Zane and Pixal were a bit surprised at this. They saw Seven as their daughter, of course, but they didn't realize that she shared the sentiment and thought of them as her parents. (As pretty much the whole team cared for and looked out for her in their own ways.) There was a lot of hugging and kissing and happy tears. 🥺 🤍💜🩵

(I want to eventually write out this particular scene with all the feels and such)

When asked if she wanted a new name, she declined, saying that she liked the name Mommy gave her. I mean, everyone on the team had been calling her "Seven" for a while, so I think that she would have become a bit attached to the name.

Behind the Scenes!

(I originally did want "7" to ask for a new name. She was going to choose "Crystal". "Like daddy's ice crystals!" was her reasoning. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that with everything she went through in...ahem..."Crystalized," I figured she wouldn't choose a name that would remind her of the evil purple shards that took over her home city and almost destroyed her family.

Also, I came across someone else's Pixane kid OC who was named Crystal, and I didn't want to steal that from them. So, with the combination of those factors, I scrapped that idea.)

In contrast to her parents' calm and thoughtful nature's, Seven is a bit of a handful. She's a very adventurous little 5 year old and is always seeming to get into trouble. Sometimes, in a mischievous way, but mostly, she's just exploring and learning about the world around her like all kids do.

She has a very bouncy and bubbly personality, and, as Pixal observed earlier, she can be rather emotional at times. She is very empathetic and doesn't like it when someone on the team is sad. She loves jokes and harmless pranks, and often, Jay and Kai will rope her into their prank wars. As much as she likes mechanical and electronic things, Seven loves to run around outside. She especially likes finding bugs.

Seven likes to spend time with her parents a lot. She was a bit clingy in her original shell, and that trait has definitely carried over. You'll often find her in the kitchen with Zane or in the Sam X cave checking out whatever new invention Pixal is working on.

Zane and Pixal, love their daughter so much!!! They are a little mini family inside of their bigger found family. They give each other hugs all the time and enjoy a big snuggle pile during movie nights.

Seven still loves watching Zane make snow flurries and ice crystals, and Zane loves seeing her face light up when he does. He often involves her when he's in the kitchen whipping up a new recipe. There is often a big mess by the time they're done. (Like when they made Cole a surprise birthday cake. Flour was everywhere!)

Since she started out working on inventions with Pixal, Seven still has a passion for electronics. She likes to hang around in the Sam X cave with her mom helping her with her inventions, making modification suggestions, and making stuff of her own. Pixal often hums when working on projects and Seven joins in. It often escalates into a full concert, both of them singing at the top of their lungs.

As Pixal predicted, Seven does have a bit of trauma from the whole monastery on fire incident.

It mostly surfaces as nightmares of fire and losing her family.

Zane and Pixal are with her through it all. Comforting her when she wakes up in the middle of the night, encouraging her that they aren't going anywhere. They will always be with her.

Zane got Kai involved, and he was able to show Seven that even though fire can be dangerous, when handled correctly it can be a beautiful thing, providing warmth, light, and comfort.

After that conversation and a few more experiences with Kai teaching her about fire, Seven began to overcome her fear of fire.

Seven loves her aunt and uncles!

Nya thinks that she is the absolute cutest thing and loves to work with her and Pixal on the silly projects Seven comes up with. 5 year olds have some crazy ideas for inventions.

Jay loves having someone around who actually laughs at his jokes. He loves being an uncle and playful teasing often ensues.

Lloyd is teaching her how to play some of his favorite video games, and in the process is taking more time for himself to relax and take a break from being the leader.

Kai is very happy to see this.

After helping Seven overcome her fear of fire, Kai has become a bit of a big brother figure to her. (Big surprise 🤭)

He likes to tease her and get into tickle fights until they both end up on the floor in fits of laughter.

Cole loves being an uncle and is always giving piggyback rides. They have a little game they play where Cole sees how high he can toss Seven into the air. This worried Zane a bit in the beginning, you know, his daughter being tossed straight up toward the ceiling. But he's used to it now. Cole knows what he's doing.

Probably.

Zane and Pixal have discussed eventually passing on Zane's element to Seven. But obviously not right now. Right now, they are just letting her be a kid, and trying to raise her to be the best nindroid that she can be.

And I personally think they are doing a great job.

Who's in Vania's make-shift hero team/who's she been trying or planning to recruit? :3

Vania's make-shift hero team mostly includes people she finds through out the story who she thinks would be good heroes The first to join her team was Skylor, who was a wandering vigilante (After running away from Chen's island, she didn't really have a home). Skylor and Vania meet when Vania was in her evil baby stage, Skylor essentially plays the role of Kai. The second was Nya, after being tricked into betraying the skullkin and basically killing them, she basically wandered through Ninjago. She joined Vania's team with the goal of finding a way to revive the skullkin and find the person who tricked her. The third was Harumi, though at first Harumi resented Vania and tried to kill her. But after being stuck in a situation were they had to work together, Harumi began to resent her less before she completely forgave Vania for unleashing the serpentine. Zane is technically the fourth, though he mostly joined to keep an eye on Harumi. He often acts like a guardian and guides them when he can. Vania tried to convince Kai to join her after the whole tournament of elements, but he decided to go on his own. Morro is the fifth, during the whole possession part of the story, he plays the part of the phantom ninja (he's partly switched with Seliel) to try to make sure Jay (Who plays Morro's role in this au) doesn't cause too much trouble. Vania tries to recruit him through out the story but he keeps declining. It's not until the hands of time where he finally decides to join. Last one is Seliel, who is a nindroid in this au. She joined after the whole decoded thing (decoded is after possession in this au) because she had nowhere else to go and wanted to do good after all the bad that she's done Sorry!! for the long explanation rahhh, I'm just very. excited about this au

Time Marches On: A fic that is lamentably not finished, but the chapter that IS there is a wonderful reflection by Wu on how his students have changed (I like time-reflective fics, I suppose) punctuated with a heart-wrenching conversation with Lloyd, which is something I will always love to see~ (but pls if for nothing else the Wu+Lloyd convo is so GOOD *rolls around*)

Thank You, For Giving Me Wings: Or, Five Times the Ninja accidentally called Wu 'Dad' (and the one time one of them didn't on purpose). Oh look, another time-reflective piece about Wu and the Ninja, but this time by me! And could be finished if the Nya chapter didn't give me such a writer's block on how to phrase what I want to saaaay *wails* Anywaaaay, lot of Wu and lots of family emotions and lots of the ninja being vulnerable and soft in their "father's" presence ;w;)/

Some Burn Hot, Some Burn Cold: A story about Lloyd, Elemental Powers, and the effects both those things can have on the ninja's emotions. Everyone's got a role to play in this one, though the parts with Cole and Lloyd hit me the hardest, man. Also may or may not have been my inspiration for Elemental Outbursts ;P

All I Want For Christmas is You: If I had a nickel for every time I recc'ed a Christmas fic in the middle of July, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it's (about to) happen twice (aka Lloyd experiences Christmas for the first time and attempts to hide that fact and the ninja simply love him very very very much in the process).

All I'm Asking For- And last but most certainly not least, my other very favorite Ninjago fic ever, the masterpiece that inspired me to get back into writing to begin with ;w;

Kind of a (Christmas-y) AU the diverts from MotO but doesn't necessarily contradict it either, my mere meager description just cannot do it the justice it deserves! Everyone gets some form of closure after all these years of fighting to just be okay, even if for a little while, all sprinkled with marvelous character moments and interactions and holiday shenanigans that are guaranteed to warm your heart at one point or another. A great pick me up to dive back into year round regardless (as I do)

(this fic is technically and obviously about everyone, but the way it starts and ends with Cole's perspective on his team............ *bursts into tears* something about it just feels so perfectly right in a way I still can't manage to explain. But know I hold this fic so very near and dear to my heart and you should too <3)

I have some questions abou the noodle shop ghost au.

Would Morro be someone who when talking about someone, specifically say their physically/mentally tired or would he just say their tired?

You've mentioned Morro being recognised as Macaque's successor by spirits of something (I can't remember). Does that mean he gets Mac's powers? If he does, would Macaque have to seal away some of the powers like Wukong did with MK?

What is PIF's opinion on Morro? You know, with Morro's elemental power and stuff.

Would Morro even recognise the ninja at first when he meets them? You know, with their designs and stuff, when he last saw them they looked like their old designs. Would he recognise their voices (excluding Lloyd)? Would Wu immediately recognise his old student, no matter how much he's changed (physically and mentally)?

Let's say he meets the ninja and the ninja recognise him first, will they attack him out of reflex or something or will they leave it and wait until he does something that gives them reason to attack. Would Kai just immediately pounce of Morro without hesitation? Would Lloyd have a mental breakdown?

Let's say that Morro recognises the ninja first, what would he do? Would he have a mental breakdown or will he just exist the room silently?

What would the reactions of the LMK cast be lik? Would Wu and Macaque have a custody fight over Morro? Would Kai pick a fight with Red Son over "stealing his thing (Which is fire)"? Would Pigsy just look at all the ninja and decide that these are his kids now?

Those are all my questions. For now at least. You don't have to answer all of them but the questions I want answered the most is one and three.

Hooooooo boy. Okay. So.

1. Mentally tired more than anything, it takes a lot to wear Morro down physically—especially since they refuse to admit to such ever.

2. It’s a technicality! He’s technically recognized as Macaque’s, although it’s probably just Heaven trying to mess with Macaque for the fun of it lol. No, he won’t be automatically gaining Mac’s powers, anything Morro learns is something that Mac teaches them. As of season 4, Morro can only manipulate shadows visually, teleport via shadow, hide in shadows (to a small extent) and they’re currently working on figuring out like…shadow attacks. They don’t automatically get all of Mac’s powers. I need more information from whenever season 5 comes out about MK and his whole deal before I do anymore concrete Morro and Mac successor lore stuff.

3. Since I personally love the idea that Mac is sworn siblings with both DBK and PIF, I’m keeping that idea in. Morro and Red Son are cousins. PIF is like an aunt sorta. After the whole LBD stuff/DBK getting possessed that one time, they’re on better terms! Red Son can and will threaten the ninja if they show up that Morro’s under the protection of the Demon Bull family.

But yeah PIF and Morro vibing and you do not want to fight them. Combined, their wind powers are…a whole lot.

4. Morro would definitely recognize them. They’re very recognizable. Although in the fic that’s being worked on (heheheheh thank you coolest friend ever) and in my original ideas, Morro doesn’t meet the ninja first; the ninja end up interacting with the LMK gang beforehand who then realize from Morro’s previous descriptions that these are the Ninja (and because Jay mentions Ninjago) and one of them texts Morro as a forewarning and it really freaks Morro out. More to come on that, hehe.

And yeah they’d recognize Morro, his voice is the same and he’s still. Well. Morro.

5. Lloyd will not be having a mental breakdown because I don’t feel like that would be his reaction to Morro?? A reflexive panic, maybe, but Lloyd is still a ninja through and through. His first line of defense is actual defense. Put up a front of confidence and all that. Although you’re correct to guess that Kai is straight up trying to launch himself at Morro lmao

Although the LMK gang won’t exactly be very pleased about that hehehehe

The girls are fighting, y’all :]

6. Mental breakdown when they receive the text 100000%. Shadow-travels to Mac’s place immediately. Very upset and freaked out.

7. Everyone is fucking battling it out okay no one is safe. Although Wu is back in Ninjago for reasons. Anyways.

oldest wip is TECHNICALLY writing i've done for my original characters that have nothing to do with ninjago but since ninjago is like. the point of my blog

the oldest NINJAGO wip is actually this scene of the gang discovering that jay's snake tail stuck around in the cabinet man au!

there's an old version of a cabinet man skybound scene that i'm scrapping, it's very cool and i like it but i think things are going to go differently than i originally wrote it, so into the bin it goes

i might take snippets of it but alas overall it's getting an overhaul

outlining

sometimes i outline! sometimes i don't. cabinet man has a rough outline given that it's a loooOOONG project, i've been making some revisions and i'll probably rework the outline and go into more detail when i do to make things easier on myself. other things i don't outline, like the technoshipping fic i'm working on

a scene that's been part of my wip from the beginning

while i AM changing up how the original comic is going to go to some degree in the fic (different mediums require some changes for ease of writing and user consumption) this pretty much has stayed the same from the beginning

what's the newest idea/scene you've added?

ehehe newest is actually classified cuz it's lategame story spoilers. SECOND newest is ideating how Jay's going to meet Wu post-PE. they don't exactly have time to interact when things are first happening, so it'll be interesting to write out how Jay approaches Wu and Wu's subsequent reaction to finally finding him

A while ago, I came up with a human design for the Preeminent.

Here’s a little bit about her!

In this AU, the Preeminent is not necessarily evil in the events of Possession. She was greatly irritated that so many people in Ninjago were repulsed by death, and in turn were repulsed by her. Sure, she was created as a prison for the most wicked of souls, but she was still a natural part of life. All she wanted was to be understood and respected by others.

So she got a little greedy. She thought that if she was somehow able to cross over into the Realms of the Living, she could show the humans that death was something to revered instead of feared. She thought that she could show them her importance, the importance of death.

When a portal opened in her stomach and released the souls of cursed Anacondrai admirals, she saw her chance. She sent Morro, one of her most trusted warriors, into the Realm of the Living to begin preparations for her arrival. Little did she know, however, that Morro had unfinished business in his old home. His actions would paint the arrival of the Preeminent in a very negative light, and you pretty much know what happens next.

After being defeated by the Elemental Masters during the Battle of Stiix, and then again by Samurai X, the Preeminent was renounced from her Realm status and reduced to nothing more than an ugly slug slithering in the shadows of Ninjago. Most of the cursed souls left her stomach when she was defeated the first time, which left her in a very weakened state. She was still the determined prison for cursed souls, though, so as time passed, more spirits automatically traveled into her. Her strength returned with each new soul, eventually granting her the ability to take on a different form.

She returned to Ninjago City when she was able to move easily once again, traveling in the shadows and learning the language by watching the people. But what she also learned shocked her. After her defeat in Stiix, she was considered to no longer be in existence entirely. They no longer feared death, but it was so much worse than before. Now people not only didn't respect her - they also didn't believe in her!

The apparent truth made her angry. She decided to take it upon herself to remind others that she was still alive, and that her version of death still waited for those who sinned. She started to hunt down various big time criminals in Ninjago, killing them and taking their souls. Her victims consisted of those who schemed, those who lied, and those with too much hubris for their own good. Each new soul made her stronger, which allowed her to kill in greater quantities. News started to spread that death stalked the streets of Ninjago and people started to fear it once more. The Preeminent was finally getting what she wanted.

But it was only half of the picture. The Preeminent used to be the embodiment of the Cursed Realm, yet she had been reduced to a common killer. Her one true wish is to be restored to her former Realm status... and to be relevant in Ninjago's culture again.

Fun Facts:

1. In her new form, she is dressed in a revealing manner to symbolize that death can be tempting, especially to those who truly do not want to live anymore.

2. She introduces herself to her victims as death; more accurately, she is the death that awaits those who sin against Ninjago.

3. She takes a dark/unassuming palette when she's calm to symbolize that death can come when one least expects it, from the most unlikely of places.

4. The veil in both versions of her is supposed to represent an armillary sash that I often see in Asian folklore. I don't really know if it has any significance - I just thought it looked cool. Though I did find a legend in which it was used by Nezha to disrupt the ocean, and well... the Preeminent technically did something like that.

5. Is she inspired by Death from Puss in Boots: The Last Wish? Yes. Because he is an awesome character.

6. Her one big eye can narrow and widen, but it can never close all the way. This symbolizes that death is constant and is always collecting new souls.

7. Like during Ninjago: Possession, she can summon some of the wicked souls inside of her to assist her. She especially likes to use this ability to scare the shit out of her prey.

I know nothing about this Eclipse Born au and now I am very curious 👀

Ahem. Time to start rambling.

So the Eclipse Born AU is supposed to be a multi-seasonal AU (about 8 or 9, I can never remember the actual number) with a few oneshots sprinkled in between certain seasons to transition between them or just give out more lore. A couple of these seasons are kind of filler, but still have small important plot points within them. The series is seperated into two main arcs, with the first 4 to 5 seasons involving finding out what an Eclipse Born is and which of the ninja (one of the original six, the new ones are too young to be it) is the Eclipse Born, and then the Seasons after are basically the aftermath.

It involves pretty much all of my OCs, including Jes, Derek, Kiera, Kaito the elemental killer, Mal 'Eec. Plus some actual minifigures that come to actual Ninjago sets like Cece and Kaito (the human) that I just gave some story to.

I don't know when the actual start of the AU will be, because I have not wrote it yet. And whenever I start writing it depends on the most recent Ninjago season that will have come out at that point. If I start writing it soon, it will just be the series prologue and "Memories of a Moonlit Sea (That I Used To Be)".

Also, I do want to note that when I do start writing it, there will be quite a few content warnings, specifically involving graphic violence.

And a big thing of the AU is that it fucks up a lot of canon lore. And it's deliberately in a way so that the ninja (the main characters) think all the canon lore is true, when in fact parts are not.

Like the fact that in my AU there is a third continent up in the Northern hemisphere that was not created by the FSM. In the present day, since there are obviously going to be satellites, seeing as how people were able to go to space in Season 3, the explanation for the continent being hidden is that people on that continent somehow hack the satellites so that Ninjagan satellites can't see them or watch their TV. But the citizens of this continent know a lot about Ninjago, both from ancient and present history. I also want to note that this is not supposed to say that in our world, there is an extra continent. NO. We are not doing conspiracy theories here. I just thought it'd be easier and more interesting for the plot to have another continent available to explain things. (The continent is named Aquaria, after Aquariume (which I headcanon as Zane's power source, and also need a whole other post going over it because it's both a crystal and an elemental power), originally called Atlantis, due to being the continent that was submerged long before Time had a name when Wojira started attacking all those years ago)

Or all the Oni and Dragon anatomy shit. And Oni lore, especially involving Resurrected Oni, Brood Oni (Season 10 Oni), and the type of Oni that Jes and Lloyd are. (some of which isn't really scientifically possible and is noted that it shouldn't (mainly involving the actual genetics, because that shit does not follow 5th grade genetics rules), but is also played off as "because why the fuck not"). Plus a lot of Dragon and Oni hybrid lore as well.

Or like the fact that there are things unknown about elemental powers. Such as the origin of powers like Tech, Ink, whatever the fuck Zeatrix's is, and Heat (which may change depending on how DR actually explains their power origins). Or the two still in the realm but not in the Ninjago continent (Death and Dark Lightning). Ooooorrrr the Dead Elements (which I also need to make a whole other post on)

Or, (not curtailing to certain elements anymore) the existence of Elemental Beings, which are basically elementals who instead of holding all the powers of an element, hold one or two. They can hold multiple elements (which Elemental Masters can technically as well, but not as Master powers).

Or what happens to an Elemental Master's power after they have kids. Because the power is still there. The Master just has to relearn how to use their powers.

Aaaannnd then there's the reason why the lore's fucked up. Mainly involving Hazza'Dur. Who was an Eclipse Born. Like his little brother by seven years, Mal 'Eec.

In the AU, Eclipse Borns are two elementals born seven years apart, during a time period between the Two Twin Eclipses. These eclipses are more than seven years apart from each other. But the two children have the same exact power as each other. This is different from elemental beings, because elemental being siblings don't regularly have similar powers. And even if they are similar, they are not exactly the same. But Eclipse Born Elemental Masters are even rarer than Eclipse Born Elemental Beings. And even more powerful.

But Hazza'Dur kills his little brother and takes his power, becoming very powerful. I am not going to go too much into that right now, because that in itself (like everything else) is a long ass tangent and this post is already pretty long. But his rise to power and the aftermath of his death involve a lot of things, including Shintaro lore.

I got a bit derailed (since there's a ton of shit), but despite all the ancient Ninjago lore in the series, the AU takes part during present day, after the Merge. And a lot of fucked up shit happens. Especially after the "Un-Merge" happens. Because things start to get really shitty in Ninjago. And Aquaria. Though they were already fucked up in Aquaria.

Working on 3 playlists having to do with my Ninjago au. One would be songs I think sally would write, the other would be the songs Lloyd would write, and the last would be duets they did. Still working on adding songs. Suggestions would be appreciated.

Friendship of sally and lloyd

One day after the events of crystallized Sally comes over to thank them for helping her and to tell then she got a studio in Ninjago city that she's living in. No one is home but she hears music coming from one of the rooms and goes into investigate.

She opens the door to find lloyd sitting next to their bed with a notebook next to them and singing while playing a guitar. The song that Lloyd was most likely writing at the time would probably be lucky charms.

After they finish singing Sally starts freaking out getting super excited. After some questions Lloyd explains that they've been writing and singing since they can remember as a way to cope with their emotions. Lloyd is extremely embarrassed about this and tells her that thats why they always wait till everyone else is gone.

Sally ends up convincing Lloyd that their music is really good and that they should put it out. Lloyd not wanting anyone to know who they are puts out their music under the name Green Rain.

Under this account Lloyd is completely honest about their personal life(keeping out the parts that would reveal their identity) saying that they have never come out to their family, aside from their parents, due to bullying that they received in school. Due to going to an all boy boarding school they were heavily bullied for being intersex to the point of not feeling comfortable coming out to the people they trust.

They write songs having to do with their mental illnesses, stress, and closetedness that as Sally had told them helped other people feel better who where in similar situations. They talk about their struggles with dissociation and schizophrenia due to the devourer venom and being scared of themself at times. They do all of this without ever revealing their identity or arousing suspicion with the ninja.

The only people who know of this is Harumi and Sally. Technically Brad and Gene also know but they havent talked since school tho that'll change soon. More info on that later.

Ps- Lloyd and Sally write together a lot and sometimes share songs that they think would fit the others vibe better. They also write some songs about the other ninja and their relationships which is why little talks is in the duets section. Little talks reminds me of Nia and Jay.
