Team Star and Their Love Languages

Giacomo

I think his love language would be words of affirmations

He’s self conscious, especially after what he did as student council president. Everyone outside of team star were really mad at him

So basically, he’s nervous about what everyone else thinks of him especially as a team star admin.

Just a simple “You’re doing a great job!” or something is enough to perk him up on the worst of days

It really helps to reassure him that nobody hates him lmao

Ortega

Gifts lol

Before coming to team star, he was used to being pampered with gifts and whatnot

But after joining, he never really got any gifts besides his birthday and christmas. It really hurt him, was he not worthy of gifts anymore?

It doesn’t have to be anything expensive by any means. Something as simple as picking him up a candy bar while you’re shopping will make him so happy

It’s really the thought that counts with him. For all the artists out there, if you make him anything he will absolutely treasure it.

It’s just a gentle reassurance that someone still loves him. It’s a little taste of home, if you will

Atticus

Quality time 100%

He often likes to go out with you, even if it’s just to class or to go shopping

PLEASE sit by him while he’s sewing. He really enjoys your presence

On that note, be prepared to be a mannequin. He’s gonna make a ton of clothes for you, and he’s gonna make sure the fit just right

I think because of the way he dresses and acts he never really had anyone close to him. His team star friends are the closest people to him, but since they’re stationed at their respective bases he doesn’t see them often

Because of all that, he gets quite lonely. He will treat you only with the upmost respect while he’s with you too. You need a drink? He’s already on it. It’s a bit too cold? He’s turning on the heat and grabbing blankets

I love him so much

Eri

tbh kinda struggled with this one, but i think she goes well with acts of service

Eri appreciates the little things in life, so she notices the little things more often then not

If you give her flowers she’ll cry. Please give her flowers she deserves them sm

Show up to her wrestling tournaments and she’ll win just for you. You showing up is all the motivation she needs

And of course, just doing daily chores lifts a big burden off her back. She’s used to being the responsible, caring one, but it’s nice to sit back once in a while

Even just looking after the other team star members makes her love you

Mela

Physical touch

She’s another touch starved pokemon character.

I think she’s used to shutting herself out, being cold and tough. But really, she needs a big hug

Just holding her hand makes her blush, she really enjoys it

Cuddling? Absolutely. Soft Mela is very healthy for the soul

I absolutely love Mela if you couldn’t tell

I don’t really get to use Atticus as much in RP, so his list is a little shorter, but I still love my dorky ninja.

🧪 Atticus paints his pokeballs with patterns representing each of his Pokémon.

🧪 Atticus is a huge Brassius fan, he’s always studying Brassius’ work and trying to understand the meanings behind them.

🧪 He’s a bit of a Galar-phile, especially being a fan of classical theater and the gym leader Marnie.

🧪 While handsome, he was bullied for his old time way of talking and obsession with art and ninjas, sometimes having his art ruined when away from it, which has made him more shy about showing it off.

🧪 Navi Squad, post Operation Starfall, becomes the artsy part of Team Star. Students have the art room again, but the positive creative atmosphere of the Squad makes it where students show their more experimental and abstract art.

🧪 Atticus always carries Art and sewing supplies with him… this is already kinda canon tho lol.

🧪 He prefers the poison type because of how dynamic it is. There’s no one poison, and no one way too be poisoned.

🧪 Since The bosses probably can’t wear their modified uniforms to school, Atticus creates some newer ones, taking advantage of any loopholes in the uniform code.

Ok ok i haven't seen anyone talk about this yet but i just noticed

There are 8 eeveelutions and a max of 6 pokemon per team so of course penny would be missing two. but specifically which two are she missing? espeon and glaceon

because penny is shy and reclusive and seldom goes out during the day she never got to evolve an eevee during daytime. and since she just stays in her room most of the time and doesn't go very far she never got an ice stone which can only be found in the mountain peaks.

Ooooooh. I actually did a little digging and fun fact!

There's only two places you could get a leaf stone to evolve leafeon in sword and shield. And by that I mean two places that would make sense for Penny to get them. One in Turrfield and the other is through pokejobs. So either Penny is from Turrfield or, and the most likely option, Penny often sent out her pokemon - her veevees- on pokejobs!

Doing even more digging, I actually found out that all the stone eeveelutions that Penny has ( Jolteon, Flareon, Vaporeon and Leafeon) have their evolutionary stones available as something a pokemon can bring back. Ice stone is the only one that isn't. So yeah, I don't think Penny is from Turrfield, it would be very funny if she was. Hmmm maybe Wyndon? Motosoke? Throwing a bone for the " Penny is Peony's daughter" theorist, Freezington?

Honestly, my eyes have been open, and the attention to detail to Penny's pokemon ( if intentional) is bonkers.

Now I'm imagining that process. Like Penny sends out her Eevees to do some pokejobs for her and when they come back they all have evolved. Due to being exposed to a particular stone. The only ones that haven't are Umbreon and Sylveon, which is kinda sweet when you think about it.

Tdlr: The attention to detail of Penny's team is honestly really cool.

Pokemon AU Fanfics I would/might write

Down To Earth - This AU takes place after Pokemon Adventures: Platinum. Cyrus and the Team Galactic admins change their identities and run around Sinnoh evading the law. They've stopped committing crimes, but the International Police are after them for trying to end the universe. Cyrus now goes by Sirius (Real creative, I know), Mars goes by Maia, Saturn goes by Sol, Jupiter goes by Juliet. The story alternates between Galactic adapting to living a somewhat normal life (found family style) and high-stakes action-packed chase scenes where the cops show up and Galactic are run out of whatever town they've been staying at.

Survey Master - Ingo appears in Hisui where the MC does at the start of PLA, joins the Galaxy Expedition Team, and goes on the MC's adventure instead. His initial partner is either Litwick or Klink and evolves over the course of his adventure. Barry has also been brought to Hisui and is Sneasler's warden because you can't stop me and also his name is Pearl in the manga.

The Superstar Project - In this AU, Clavell doesn't let the protagonists of Scarlet/Violet off the hook for entering the crater. He assigns them a month of community service. Nemona, Arven, Penny and Macy (MC) are required to camp at Star Training Centers and help with developing them. Nemona goes to Eri's camp, Arven to Ortega's, Penny to Giacomo's and Macy to Mela's. Mela's STC is the first to open, and Macy is then sent to Atticus' camp. (I imagine he'd need the least help.) The story focuses on the episodic hijinx of the characters trying to organize the chaotic Star Bases.
