What do you think of MasakoX's What If Nappa Turned Good?

I watched some of it. Maybe up until the Buu Saga, I think. Wasn't a fan of it after a while. Nappa being subservient makes sense due to him pretty much being Vegeta's attack dog. So him kinda being a bodyguard of the Son family makes sense.

HOWEVER... Nappa was an evil guy. Know how long it took Vegeta to become a good guy. Over 16 years. Nappa isn't as stubborn as Vegeta, but I imagine it would take Nappa a few years less than Vegeta to become good. And why would Nappa stay on Earth? After he is healed, he would do 1 of 3 things;

Challenge Goku and get his butt kicked because Saiyans are too prideful (arrogant).

Leave the planet in shame as well as wanting revenge on Vegeta for betraying him.

Return to Vegeta to try to be in his favor again. There is a Saiyan hierarchy & both of them follow it religously. Even if Nappa was upset, he understood his rank.

I don't see a scenario where Nappa becomes friends with Goku and company unless you change Nappa's personality from what it was. And if my memory is right, I think MasakoX had Nappa train with Goku on the way to Namek? If so, that makes no sense to me.

Now regarding Super Saiyan Nappa. Or more specifically, Legendary Super Saiyan Nappa... wasn't a fan of that. Reason being that most Saiyan would never be able to achieve the Super Saiyan state due to how they live and how they just aren't genetically gifted like Vegeta who was the prodigy among elite Saiyans or Goku who has had decades of spiritual training that ended up helping him meet the requirements for Super Saiyan. Nappa would need years upon years to become a Super Saiyan. Look at Paragus in DBS: Broly. Paragus as an old man was as strong as Nappa. Meaning Paragus was stronger in his youth from training with Broly. Yet Paragus never got SSJ. To become a Super Saiyan, you need to meet the right requirements. Nappa does not have the pure heart, wasn't a prodigy who surpassed the King when he was just a child, didn't have years of spiritual training like an Earthling, and with new information... his S-Cells count was low as it was for most full blood Saiyans.

I know video games show that every Saiyan can become a Super Saiyan, but they can't. Most of the Saiyans can only become Oozaru. So that should've been Nappa's power in a what if. He either becomes an Oozaru or he somehow uses Oozaru power in his base form similar to Broly in DBS. But a Legendary SSJ? Nah. Makes no sense for Nappa to get that. (Idk if the what-if story came out before or after DBS: Broly. I think it was afterwards.)

Also, Nappa being a gardener? I guess that's okay. Its only based off of the fact that he planted Saibaimen. But all he did was poke a hole in the ground with his finger, plant the seed, poor some kind of liquid on it. Nappa is mid class. Gardening isn't something a mid class Saiyan warrior would likely do. They would do more fighting while the low class Saiyans who are unfit for combat do gardening and other stuff like ship maintenance or meat distribution. It also seems like Nappa being a "gentle giant" was supposed to resemble Android 16 and how he valued nature. The idea of a Saiyan being a gardener isnt bad. I just think it fits more for somebody like Tarble who is considered a disgrace to the royal family & a very low class member warrior race & would have a job like gardening instead of being a wartior.

Lastly, my memory of the what if might be wrong in places. Its been a long time seen I've seen those videos. So if I need correction, correct me.

What if tarble and vegeta swapped places?

IF VEGETA GOT EXILED AS A YOUTH ? If he didnt have a high power reading as a babe? That would sort of change everything about dragom ball Z. I am not equipped to answer such an inquiry. This is quite the task.

Well I guess that Vegeta would commit himself to training all the same and swear revenge not just on Frieza but on his own family as well. And I guess Tarble would come to earth and I think loosen up faster than Vegeta did. Maybe he deosnt even kill Nappa. And hes not that fueled by contempt for Frieza so honestly he hangs out with Kakarot a bit bc hes sort of a cool dude.

And then Vegeta shows up eventually to kill Tarble and Frieza and everybody, but all the saiyans and the Z team are first united under the common cause to take out Frieza, and maybe by doing so Vegeta decides that it would be best to keep his now-teammates alive so that he has someone to rule over.

Eventually he surpasses everyboyd but Kakarot because he cares more than the others do, and Tarble amd Nappa become like Oolong and Roshi and they just hang out and dont care about anything and they just wanna have a good time. Sort of an impeccable ending for them if you ask me. Reminds me of some certain saiyan ocs of mine ... But I like this better bc Tarble is asexual and I think that thats classy OH GOD DOES HE EVER MEET HIS WIFE???? WELL THATS GOTTA HAPPEN SOMEHOW.

Ok maybe during all the space travels Tarble and Gure meet somehow. Maybe it was before the plot drama and it was on a planet that they decided wasnt worth destroying and selling so they left it in tact and Tarble had met a woman there whom he hasnt been able to stop thinking abt since......... so when he gets a minute he goes back.

I do like the aesthetic of Nappa amd Tarble being trashy bachelors who hang out in obscure locations though. A great influence for the kids

Happyhoganon: If Son Goku a.k.a. Kakarot was the ONLY Saiyan to be alive in his universe, as Freeza and his forces would had even murdered Raditz, Vegeta and Nappa (and also, Tarble, Broly & Paragus if you want to add them into the mix), how peaceful could his life, as well as his friends and families' lives, be without any saiyans landing on Earth? Could you tag the message, so I can see it on the happyhoganon tag?

The thing is, Freeza's gang clearly had their eyes on Earth, which is why Goku was sent there. (In the original canon - I'm not going to address DBS retcons.) So without Raditz recalling the mission, eventually, someone from Freeza's gang would have discovered the old flight plan, assuming it wasn't entirely lost along side Planet Vegeta. So they'd have likely had a longer period of peace, but Piccolo is still committed to revenge on Goku, the Artificial Humans are still being made for revenge on Goku, and Majin Boo is still sealed away on Earth. So even without the Saiyans arrival, Piccolo, Gero, and Babidi would all still have to be dealt with, and Freeza and King Cold, most likely, down the line as well. Honestly, every storyline in DBZ is put into motion either in Dragon Ball or before it, so it's kind of too late by the time DBZ begins. Thanks for the question!

Dragon Ball Super Broly Movie Review, How it should’ve been & Future Possibilities

DBS Broly movie resonates very closely & similarly with Android saga and Majin Buu saga, where the old guy in the room (Dr. Gero, Babidi, Paragus) gets killed one way or another and his not so innocent descendant/creation (Android 17, Buu, Broly) wreaks havoc only to be done with a miraculous climax by some saviours.

To be honest, it would have been great if there was an extended version of Bardock vs. Frieza fight scene & including murder of King Vegeta. They also skipped Beerus ordering Frieza to destroy planet Vegeta which was a disappointment. If that was the case, the plothole could've been probably solved in this movie and we could’ve got a Beerus vs. Broly showdown! It’s sad that Beerus was left out of the battle. Broly’s innocent persona is what makes him a different Saiyan than the rest of his kind, even with his father Paragus’s schemes. Gogeta was shown OP & savage than his uncanon SS4 counterpart.

It is remarkably weird that the introduction of a new non-Super Saiyan transformation, i.e. the Ikari or Wrathful form of Broly which utilizes the power of the Great Ape Oozaru by retaining humanoid form (even without the tail) exhibiting the true wrath of a Saiyajin, is shown to be stronger than Super Saiyan God form & on par with the Super Saiyan Blue. Maybe the training in the harsh atmosphere, ambience & savage beings & environment of the planetoid Vampa played a role in this, maybe with Broly being a lucky, one of a kind, Legendary Saiyan with untapped battle power. It’s funny how no one unlocked it in the history of DBZ, DBS. Maybe that’s what Gohan tried & wanted to achieve, an ultimate form without transforming into a Super Saiyan! But now we have some good possibilities based on this. In the future of the series, if Broly learns to control this Wrathful transformation (like Kale managed to do), and if he can combine it with both Super Saiyan & God-ki, that can be prove to be as strong as the Master Ultra Instinct or maybe Ultra Instinct Omen or Super Saiyan Blue Evolution at least. (depending how strong the future villain of the anime would be!)

Some animations were completely bizarre and weird, while some were very detailed. The plot of having revenge on Vegeta went off the rails midway into the fight as everyone realized Broly’s not in control. Gogeta should've used Big Bang Kamehameha instead of the God Kamehameha in the final climatic showdown. On a side note, I would’ve preferred Frieza reviving & training Cell to be stronger as his right hand man instead of that stupid wish to get taller by 5cms! Blizzard was lit AF to listen, both Japanese & English versions by Daichi Miura. Let's hope we see everything rectified in the DBS anime episodes in future.

This movie got somewhat spoilt already with the news of Toei re-releasing three old uncanon DBZ movies. They basically combined those 3 movies to form a great canon one. The plot could’ve been a little better and not had rushed at the same time by involving Gohan, Goten & Trunks in an active role instead of sidelining them.

One major thing which was rectified from the previous Broly movies was that he never called Goku for blood & not yelling ‘Kakarott’ every damn time. I think we get the difference between the two now. The earlier uncanon Broly was plain PTSD sadist psycho monster whose power level seems justified now. While the new enhanced canon Broly was innocent & full of potential and his whole wild life on Vampa not to forget. The rage which set him off to become a Super Saiyan was because of his father’s death. Either ways he can’t be controlled by the remote cause it got destroyed for good.

Frieza was once again left angry as a loser who's hell bent on taking his revenge on the Saiyans. Which leaves a few particular doors open for his brother Cooler to get canonized & team up with him next time. Abo & Cado make appearances as part of the Frieza Force & Tarble is once again referenced by Raditz. Imagine Abo & Cado troubling Tarble just for him coming down to Earth asking for help and Frieza scheming with his brother Cooler to strike back on Earth once again! This would be cool, making sense by canonizing both Tarble, Cooler/Meta Cooler by also combining the storylines of another 2-3 uncanon DBZ movies.

IMO they're bring these 4 Saiyans together to form unique fusions like Vegetarble (Vegeta + Tarble) and Karoly (Kakarott + Broly) some day hopefully. Giving Broly an Ikari or Wrathful transformation was really cool as a homage to the uncanon Super Saiyan 4 form from Dragon Ball GT. Let's hope he gets a new stronger form with God ki in the future.

But hey, remember the Old Kai saying he needs 25hrs to unlock Goku's hidden potential right before the Tournament of Power? And in the next movie we see Broly utilizing Oozaru's strength while retaining his humanoid form... Yeah maybe that's how Super Saiyan 4 will get canonized & maybe will get dubbed as a ‘Super Saiyan Ultra’ form which will combine Ikari/Wrathful with God ki/Ultra Instinct ki or both minus their tails maybe. Goosebumps right?

Demonic Love TImeline

Been meaning to post this for a while... when I started Living With Demons I spent days trying to work out how it would fit into the canon timeline, because I think I accidentally wrote something in The Nameks that basically messed up the timeline... I can’t remember what it was now, but I know I had to spend absolutely ages trying to fix it. Anyway! Age 774, September 7 Shenron erases everyone's memories of Majin Buu.

Age 776 The events of Dragon Ball: Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return!! take place. Tarble and Gure go to Earth because of the threat of a brother duo: Abo and Kado.

Age 778 The events of Demonic Love take place. King Piccolo is brought back to life and marries his counsellor, Frikiza. In Hell, Frieza marries Cell. Shortly after the events of Demonic Love, Gohan and Videl are married, and Videl becomes pregnant with their daughter, Pan. August 18 The events of Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods and the Battle of Gods Saga take place. Beerus awakens and searches for the Super Saiyan God.

Age 778-779 The events of The Nameks take place. Viola is conceived in November 778, and Piccolo Junior finds out Frikiza is pregnant in December 778.

Age 779 The events of Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' and the Resurrection 'F' Saga take place. Frieza is resurrected by the Dragon Balls and is urgent for revenge on Goku and Future Trunks. January Pan is born. February Frieza is revived and goes off to train for four months. June Frieza fights Goku and temporarily destroys Earth before being defeated. August Viola is born three months early, and Cell is put in a cocoon in Hell for one month. November Viola’s original due date.

 Age 780 February The events of Living With Demons take place. ?? Age 780 The events of the Champa Saga take place. The God of Destruction of the sixth universe, Champa wants to have a tournament between universe seven for their Earth.

Before the King (Prelude)

It has been about forty years since the destruction of Planet Vegeta. The last remaining Saiyans and their families resided in Earth, and there were no more big stories about the once prominent warrior race in the galaxy among people of the faraway galaxy. Even Whis was convinced that only Son Goku and Prince Vegeta were the last remaining pureblooded ones of their kind, and there were to be no troubles caused by Saiyans. However, little did the gods know, there was more of them besides the ones in Earth. Firstly, there was Tarble, Vegeta's younger brother. And in a planet far away from the Northern Galaxy, which was under King Kai's rule, there lived a Saiyan named Kibbetz. He was the brother-in-law of the King of Saiyans and uncle to Vegeta and Tarble. He was the untold survivor of the explosion of his home planet - he has survived out of luck since he was on a vacation at a distant place during the time Freeza destroyed Planet Vegeta. When he saw the news that his home planet was destroyed, Kibbetz was lost and shocked for a little while. However, he soon gained calamity and moved on with his life. First thing he did was applying for citizenship in the planet he was vacationing at, Planet Omorfiá. As soon as he was granted a citizen of Omorfiá, he worked as a royal engineer at the palace - all thanks to a long time family friend of the Saiyan royal family introducing him to the king. That family friend was Princess Spathí, who knew King Vegeta since they were both children. While King Vegeta never admitted to having her as a friend while he was alive, the fact that he never attempted to colonize Planet Omorfiá proved that he at least recognized her as an ally. Princess Spathí was more than happy to help out a family of her long-time friend. In fact, she was quite distressed when she found out King Vegeta’s death, so seeing Kibbetz unharmed was a great relief.

Kibbetz has lived many decades in peace in his new home, working on so many interesting and quirky projects he could only dream of doing during Freeza's reign. Even though he was a Saiyan, his competitiveness was not found predominantly in combat, but in making new, exciting inventions (but he did enjoy sparing from time to time). Freeza commissioned him to make only laser guns for his army or more ergonomic designs for his personal hover chair - the latter order especially made Kibbetz despise his position as the head engineer at the time. In Omorfiá, he could make a large variety of things from spaceships to storage units for soldiers that can preserve any food items for more than a decade in the freshest state. Overall, Kibbetz was very happy with his life. He didn't think about doing anything outrageous to break his peaceful life, unless it was to do with the design of his invention.

However, one day, his worry-free, peaceful, rose coloured life was to come to an end. It all started he met a certain mysterious woman. This woman, who refused to reveal her identity, came to his office one evening when he was the only person in the design studio. She had a veil on her head that showed not even a tiny bit of her face, and wore a knee-length black robe that was tied around the waist with a red, green, and white sash. When Kibbetz tried to attack her with a ki blast, she said he must not fear her and listen carefully to what she says. She told him everything about the survivors of the Freeza attack: Vegeta, Tarble, Nappa, Raditz, and Kakarot. She said she lives in a planet not too far away from Omorfiá, called Planet Salamina, and the grand priest told her personally that herself and Kibbetz must go look for them, because there is a powerful foe out in the galaxy that seeks to exterminate all remaning Saiyans and their previous allies. The allies were people of Planet Salamina and Omorfiá - as well as Earth. Kibbetz was overwhelmed with dread. He never imagined anyone to come after the Saiyans since Freeza. Freeza's sudden disappearance (he didn't know about his death yet) has lead his army to dissipate quickly, and many people have not had a single attack from the fearsome tyrant's force for a long time. It was hard to imagine who this enemy would be - the Saiyan army killed all the local residents when they invaded a planet. So who survived to remember the terrifying things their people have suffered from the Saiyan warriors and seek revenge?

The woman explained that the grand priest only know that she is a threat, so he must go to Planet Namek and use their special magical objects, the dragon balls, to revive King Vegeta and find out who she might be. Kibbetz asked why him out of everyone. The woman simply replied that the king knew of so many classified things he only shared with the queen, so he would have the most knowledge on possible enemies. Kibbetz grew suspicious of this mystery woman - why does she take so much interest in Saiyans? She didn't seem like one judging on her clothing. Full with skepticism, he confronted her and said if she cares so much about his race, why she isn't going to go to Planet Namek herself to solve the problem immediately. He also asked if she is a Saiyan herself. The veiled woman hesitated to answer his questions at first, but exclaimed that Planet Salamina was under attack by a group of extremely powerful mercenaries, so she could not leave her own family behind for too long. Thus, she came to Kibbetz to ask for help. Thankfully for her, the great priest was able to see with his holy eyes that there was a Saiyan close from Salamina. She also added that the great priest of Salamina said that King Vegeta is the only one who knows the weakness of this enemy. Kibbetz finally understood what a dire situation the last people of the remaining Saiyans are in, and accepted her offer. He promised that he would go to Planet Namek as soon as possible. The veiled woman headed for the window as soon as he finished his sentence.

"Wait! You still have not told me if you were a Saiyan yourself." Kibbetz shouted before she could run away.

"Maybe." The woman responded quietly. "I will reveal myself later. Now I must run. I got a message about an hour ago from my husband that the mercenaries have taken over more than half of Planet Salamina. I have already risked my planet's safety to see you. Contact me as you as soon as you have revived King Vegeta. Here is the code to my scouter. Alas."

         "Farewell…"

The woman flew away quickly, and Kibbetz stared out of the window as he held onto a piece of paper with her scouter's code written in it. Vegeta watched his mate play with the boys as the submissive held Vegito on his hip. Ever since he had gotten his voice back, he hadn't been too far from the cubs, and he had been constantly chattering to their youngest to help improve the toddler’s own vocabulary. The beta's eyes lit up as soon as he saw Gohan come over to talk to his father, most likely about what to find Tarble as an offering for his hand. The teen had been busy trying to find something suitable on Earth while beginning lessons on how to run his new kingdom. Poor boy could use all the help he could get, and Goku was more than happy to offer advice. It made the prince happy to see the submissive so relaxed and like his former self, but there was something that was burning in the back of his mind that made a frown grow on his face. His eyes flickered over to the oldest of the half saiyans, and a surge of pride went through him as he observed just how much effort Gohan was putting into his gift. Unfortunately, it also made guilt rear its ugly head as well. Bardock was right, loathed as Vegeta was to admit it, and he felt the need to come up with something to give to his Karo. Their mating had been unorthodox, but the alpha wanted to make it up to Goku. “You look troubled, nii-sama.” Tarble said softly. “Tarble, I thought we’d talked about the nii-sama thing.” Vegeta smirked as he ruffled his sibling’s hair. “I know but you’re always going to be my nii-sama.” The beta admit with a smile. “What’s bothering you?” “I’m…I’m sorry I gave Gohan a hard time about his proposal.” Vegeta said softly. “I just want him to do right by you. And I’ve realized that I need to do right by Karo….but I have no idea what I could offer him.” “You really want to make amends don’t you. Ni-” Vegeta’s glare cut him off. “Big brother, Kakarot is happy with you. He forgave you for everything. You don’t have to keep making it up to him.” “It’s not just that, Tarble. Bardock, damn him, has a point. How can I expect Gohan to honor our traditions with you when I haven’t done so with my own mate. We didn’t even court properly. I just….I want to make things right. Karo deserves that.” Tarble hugged his older brother trying to get the troubled expression off the older man’s face. “He’ll be happy with pretty much anything you give him, brother.” Tarble said quietly. “And I know the only reason you give Gohan a hard time is because that’s your job as my big brother. I think you enjoy pushing his buttons.” The beta teased. They settled in the grass watching Kakarot and the cubs playing with the pups, Gohan now involved in the game making the older two boys squeal in laughter as he tickled them both. Karo was so beautiful like this. He wanted to see Karo like this everyday for the rest of their lives. “So what have you considered so far? Maybe you’re over thinking this.” “I can’t really hunt anything for Karo. He’s an accomplished hunter himself and we both know there isn’t an animal that either of us couldn’t kill easily. He doesn’t want to kill anything for trophy status either and doing something like that would only make him sad or angry.” Neither said the obvious, that it was too close a reminder to Shiveria right now. “What about a pet?” Vegeta glared at him not even dignifying that question with a response. “Yeah…that was a terrible idea.” Tarble admit with a blush. “And you already have the three panzaons. And besides your bond jewelry that really wouldn’t work either.” Vegeta sighed at that. “At times I wish he liked wearing nice things and jewelry. Karo looks absolutely stunning when he’s wearing a bit of jewelry but that’s just not him. It was one of the things I always found admirable.” “He told me he was afraid of ruining his nicer clothes and losing the jewelry. Kakarot just isn’t used to it yet. I wasn’t either until I started helping father in court more recently.” Tarble said as his tail wagged a bit. Vegeta smiled happy their father was actually asking Tarble to help. He hadn’t wanted his brother to fade into the shadows. “Anything else?” “I considered a few things, but Karo isn’t a crafter so any tools to help him with that are out. And he doesn’t really care for reading and knowledge unless it helps him with something he has to learn. I thought about adding to the gardens but they are already filled with everything we can safely grow in the palace. Not to mention he feels comfortable with how they already are, I’m hesitant to change that.” Tarble watched as the alpha furrowed his brow in thought. It was so sweet that his older brother was trying so hard to find the perfect gift for his mate. The young beta smiled once he heard Vegeta start to mutter out some more ideas before quickly rejecting them. Just then, a memory flashed in his mind from a few months back. “You know, there was something Kakarot mentioned.” The younger said after bit. “We were talking about where we grew up. He told me he didn’t feel like he ever had a home of his own. He did mention his home with his grandfather and how his wife had it totally rebuilt after they married; to be far Kakarot did say it was in really bad shape after being empty for several years. It never felt like home after that. You could do something to make the palace feel like his home maybe?” The idea struck Vegeta like lightening. He grinned and ruffled his little brother’s hair affectionately as he stood up. “Thanks, Tarble.” +++VK+++ “We’re almost there.” Vegeta said with a sly grin before he pulled the submissive through some bushes drawing giggle from his mate. “Vegeta, why did you bring me all the way out here…?” The beta’s breath caught in his throat once he realized where they were. “This is…” He turned to look back at his mate with wide eyes. It was their lake, where Vegeta marked him and the setting of so many of their dreams together. It was unchanged except for a house further down the shoreline. “I know. I wanted to bring you here.” Vegeta said kissing his mate. “This is our place and its only fitting to visit while we’re on Earth, marama.” “Geta…” The beta felt his eyes water a bit at the sweetness of the gesture. He frowned a bit seeing the house. “What’s wrong?” The alpha was immediately concerned. “There’s someone living here now.” Goku responded softly. Vegeta relaxed then with a smile, and he guided the beta over so he could see the building better. “Take a closer look, Karo,” he whispered making the younger male shiver slightly. Goku glanced over his shoulder at the smirking alpha with a look of confusion before turning to study the house with a closer eye. What he saw made his breath catch in his throat a second time. It was bigger than he realized. The roof was made of black tile and shaped like a traditional Chinese house with the corners curving up just a bit, and the walls were made out of a light gray stone that helped it blend into its surroundings. There were round windows on the two sides he could see with a pattern on the glass that was similar to King Kai’s insignia. The house itself was sitting beside the tree that they had mated for the first time, and there were flowers and other plants scattered along the walls. All and all…it looked eerily similar to his grandfather's house. “Geta…what is this?” Goku's voice was hesitant as he looked over the scene once more. He sounded so confused that it made the prince let out a chuckle. “Marama…as I'm sure you're aware, our mating has been…rather unorthodox to say the least. Normally an alpha will offer a bonding gift to the beta he is courting before they mate to show he is serious about their relationship, and I'm ashamed to say that I haven't even thought of doing so until Gohan asked for Tarble’s hand.” Vegeta moved so that he was in front of the beta and held his hands before continuing. “Kakarot, after Vegetasei was destroyed, I thought I would be the prince of a dead race. I didn't think there was any hope of having a miraculous comeback from the brink of extinction for our people so I gave up. My only comfort was the thought of revenge for years….then I met you. At first I was impressed that a third class warrior had grown so strong, then, on Namek, I became angry over the thought of you being stronger then myself. “Then you were gone for seven years.” Goku was surprised to hear his mate choke up a bit here. “I vowed at your death to never fight again, but I was only able to do so for those first two years. I don't like to look back on that time, love. I just remember feeling empty most of those days, and I was angry that I couldn’t understand why. I started training again as an outlet for my aggression because… while I still thought I hated you at that time, I still couldn’t stand the thought of destroying everything you cared for.” The prince lifted a hand and cupped the submissive's cheek as he gazed adoringly in the other’s onyx eyes. Goku couldn't help but nuzzle the hand as his eyes watered a bit at the speech. “When you returned after all those years… to be honest I wasn’t quite sure what to feel, Karo. I knew I wanted to fight with you, I was also angry that you weren’t going to stay longer, and I was hurt that you were so happy with not being on Earth. I think it was then that my heart decided that it would belong to you and no other. With every else that came after… in a way I’m not surprised that it took my brain so long to catch up with what my heart had decided. “I can now see that I don't want to live a single day without you in my life. I know there will be days when we do not get along. We will fight, we will be at each other’s throat’s, and there may be days when we beat each other to bloody pulp, but I want to share those days with you. I also know there’ll be days where we can just enjoy being with each other. We can laugh together, we can spend days with our boys together, and we can spend nights wrapped up in each other’s arms just soaking in one another. I want that for the rest of our lives, love.” Here Vegeta knelt down on one knee making Goku gasp. He pulled out a black box about the size of his hands and opened it to reveal a white gold necklace with a blue, multicolored labradorite stone in its center. “Will you spend the rest of our days with me as my mate?” Goku stared at him, eyes misty with a soft smile on his face. “But…but I thought we were already mates.” Goku stammered. “You did all this for me?” “I wanted to do things right Karo. I wanted to show you just how much you mean to me because you deserve this being done the proper way.” “Geta….” Goku actually teared up and slid to his knees in front of his alpha. “So do I get an answer to my question?” Vegeta softly asked with a smile. Goku gave a watery laugh before he nodded. “You idiot.” The beta teased as Vegeta carefully hooked the necklace around his mate’s neck. It shimmered in the light and rested around mid-chest on him just at the top of his pectoral muscles. “Of course the answer is yes.” He wiped his eyes before kissing Vegeta softly. His hands found the necklace and gave it a better look. “A necklace or bracelet is traditional. I thought you’d prefer something simple.” Vegeta said taking one of his mate’s hands in his own. “I love it, it’s perfect, Vegeta.” The beta felt at peace as he held the blue stone. He didn’t feel overwhelmed like with the finer jewelry he wore for Vegito’s presentation. His mind didn’t even compare it to the collar he hated so much with how loose it was. “How did you…when did you find the time for all this?” “Bulma helped.” Vegeta said with a laugh. “I told her what I needed and we got it done. It was a bit disturbing how fast she can get people to do things.” The alpha confessed. “This whole lake and the land around it belong to you, Karo, legally. No one can ever move out here or do anything to this place without your consent.” “Why the house?” “I want you to be happy, marama.” Vegeta said once again cupping his mate’s cheek. “If that means we live here or on Vegetasei, I’ll follow you to the ends of the universe.” “Vegeta….” Goku felt his eyes water again. “Our home is on Vegetasei. I love Earth and miss our family here, but I belong with our people.” His alpha smiled and purred at that. “Then this can be a get away for you….or the two of us if you like. A place to relax.” Goku whimpered as Vegeta leaned in and breathed in his scent, his breath ghosting over his mark. His mate had a point. ‘Maybe for my next heat…’ “I’d like that….very much, anaana.” Goku felt like he walked into his rooms in the palace when they went inside. Soft blue and grays decorated the entryway will a living area just like the one in his room minus the nest. Large double french doors were at the back of the room revealing a stunning landscape of the surrounding woods and some more decorative plants surrounding an outdoor sitting area. Goku immediately went to look closer and found a small fire pit and soft chairs and a lounge. A latticed arbor on the corners were covered in vines of flowers and supported a glass roof that would keep the occupants and furniture dry without ruining the view of the sky. Further out from the patio was a large brick grill and oven that they could use for outdoor cooking. Vegeta watched Goku with a smile seeing how happy his mate was. The beta quickly went into a different set of french doors and found himself in an amazing kitchen. The fridge alone was massive. Soft blue covered the walls and the cabinets were white to match the clean white quartz countertops. From there it was a mismatch of Earth and Saiyan technology to let him cook whatever style he wanted from either planet. He opened one of the drawers and found an assortment of knives and tools for prepping food. “This is incredible.” The beta was breathless as he started looking at all the items and ingredients in his kitchen. He was so excited about what he could make his thoughtful alpha with all that he had here. “You haven’t even seen the best parts, Karo.” Vegeta said with a chuckle as he stood in the doorway leading to a dinning room connected to the sitting area. Goku gave the alpha a confused look before following Vegeta to a large dark wood door to the left of the fireplace. Goku opened the door after giving his mate a curious look. He froze seeing a replica of the den in his father’s home. The deep nest filled with blankets, furs and pillows. The back wall was taken up by another massive fireplace and Goku shivered a bit realizing this room was for the two of them alone. “There’s a bathroom like the one at the palace over here.” Vegeta said softly pulling his partner from his thoughts, and the submissive noticed a door just beside the bedroom door. “I didn’t know you liked the bathroom so much.” Goku quipped as Vegeta’s arms wrapped around his waist and pulled him close. “Oh, I wasn’t talking about the bathroom, love.” Vegeta led his mate back to the living room and showed him another dark door off to the side of the doors to the patio. Steam hit his face as he went it. It was a natural hot spring bath. Soft grass and natural smooth stones covered the floor leading to a wide pool in the center of the room. There were submerged stone benches in the pool with steam rolling off them. “I was thinking more along this room.” The beta let out a pleased and excited noise that heated the prince's body in a way that the steam couldn't do, and Vegeta bit back a growl as he watched Goku explore a little. The older saiyan watched in a mixture of amusement and arousal as the black tail attached to his mate whipped the air spreading the scent of cinnamon in the room. “A personal hot spring?!” Goku beamed at his alpha, and Vegeta could feel his chest puffing out a bit at the expression directed to him. “Geta, this is wonderful! I can't believe you went through all this trouble!” “It was no trouble, Marama,” the prince's voice was a purr as he watched the other with half lidded eyes. Vegeta pushed off the doorframe that he was leaning on to almost stalk closer to his mate. “There's one more thing to go with your gift.” The submissive's eyes widened at the tone in Vegeta’s voice as he watched him come closer. He got that distinct feeling of being prey as the alpha circled around to stand at his back. Goku shivered as soon as he felt air rush over his ear from Vegeta’s mouth. “Bardock and Bulma agreed to watch the cubs for tonight and tomorrow….” Pink dusted over Goku's face as he caught the meaning of the words. “So we can enjoy our little paradise before we have to go back to Vegetasei. Doesn't that sound nice?” The question was rhetorical, and the beta found his head nodding without really thinking about it. A mewl came from the younger’s throat as gloved hands crept up under the white top that was becoming damp from the steam. “I'm not going to wait another moment longer, Karo.” Vegeta growled as he pulled his mate closer to his body. “We are not leaving here until I've heard you scream my name. Multiple times in fact.” “Anaana….ah!” Goku was cut off by his own gasp as the prince nipped at the shell of his ear. He melted against the strong body behind him once the dominant left his ear to run his tongue over the bond bite on the beta's shoulder. “I think we can start here.” The excitement in Vegeta's tone had Goku's mind clearing enough to hear the next words before a feeling of anticipation and a small amount of nervousness filled his heart. His body was spun round before he could utter a sound, and the light in the older man's eyes nearly brought him to his knees. “It's going to be a long night, so we might as well have you as relaxed as you can get before we begin. Don't you agree?”

I know that you hate GT, but if you were to have try and rewrite that show... What would you do to make it half-decent or a fun guilty pleasure?

I think about this a lot, actually. Once I reached the end of DBZ, I tried to come up with things that could happen after the Buu Saga, but I always found it hard to come up with anything truly fresh and different. I think GT, Super, and Movie 15 indicate that even the professionals can't quite crack that nut either. When I first watched GT on Toonami, I tried to think of what I would have rather seen instead. I never get down to any specific plotlines, but here's kind of a general rundown of what I'd want.1. Uub and Pan are the protagonists. They should be teenagers or young adults, but the point is that they should be old enough to carry the torch. I'm fine with Bulla, Marron, or anyone else you might want to add to the main cast, but the premise is that we're picking up on Goku's plan in the DBZ finale. He wants Uub to assume the role of Earth's defender, and Pan isn't just going to sit on the sidelines.2. I don't know what you do with Goku and Vegeta, but the goal is to demote them to the supporting cast. Maybe they're off on some other planet training their butts off, or they've chosen to withdraw from protecting the earth to see how the kids handle it. But the biggest mistake of GT was making it all about Old Man Goku and having him turn Super Saiyan n+1. 3. I like the idea of the Tuffles trying to get posthumous revenge through Baby, but it can't just be a cackling machine creature revelling in his own supremacy. There needs to be more emphasis on how messed up it is that the Saiyan/Tuffle War is still going on long after both races went extinct and the planet they fought over was destroyed. Baby's scheme to revive the Tuffle civilization is pretty creepy because he's not a Tuffle and neither are his Earthling hosts. It implies that he's completely out of synch with what his creators actually intended, or he's doing *exactly* what they wanted, and the Tuffles are some kind of transhumanist culture. Either way, there's a lot of mindblowing ideas to explore there.4. Forget Super 17. The whole arc was just "Let's bring back all the old villains", which doesn't really work because most of them are too outclassed to really do anything, and the rest sort of need to stand alone to have the proper impact. I'd rather see something that does some world-building, like...5. Saiyan refugees settle on Earth. DBO and Xenoverse imply that there were Saiyan survivors scattered across the universe, and by Age 850 some of them were living on Earth. You could get a lot of mileage on that idea, and introduce a new threat without having to rummage through the old villains. Remember, Broly was basically created from this general premise. So was Turles. So was Radditz. So was Tarble. The point is you can take that starting point and go in almost any direction you want. You don't need to bring Broly, Turles, and Radditz back from the dead. Just make a new guy.6. Retool the Shadow Dragons. I can appreciate the idea of making Shenron the final boss of the franchise, but they didn't even attempt to explain how Shenron can split himself into seven parts, each of them vastly more powerful than his original self. A better idea might be to have the Shadow Dragons be the product of Dragon Balls from other planets or even other universes. I just like the idea of a gang of super-strong dragons who think they can push everyone around. And instead of having Goku fight them in a gauntlet, you can have Pan, Uub, and Bulla share the load. The idea is that even if Bulla isn't the main character, she'd still get to have this badass hero moment where she defeats Shadow Dragon Number Five or whatever.

An alternate universe story.

Bulma is an astronaut/scientist. After picking up a distress signal, she lands on the saiyan planet, Vegeta. While there, she is captured and forced to become a slave. After revealing her genius, the saiyan king decides to appoint her as Prince Vegeta's personal slave, and orders her to come up with new ways to train his warriors so they can overthrow the evil galactic overlord, Frieza. Vegeta thinks Bulma is weak little slave, and Bulma thinks Vegeta is an arrogant jerk, yet as time goes by, they grow closer together.
