Seven(ish) Sentence Sunday ✍️

Have a little something from LA Lonely -> this is after the fun and orgasms of Buck and Eddie’s hook up. Still don’t know if I’m going to go full spice 🌶️ or just do a quick little run down of things.

Buck expects him to start pulling his clothes on and to give him the whole “this was fun, but I gotta bounce” speel, but Eddie surprises him by climbing back into bed and nudging Buck to roll onto his side so Eddie can scoot up behind him and hold him.
Buck freezes for a moment because no one does this. They have their fun and then they leave. They don’t stay and they definitely don’t cuddle.
Eddie must feel him go tense because his hold loosens and he moves as if he’s about to pull away. “Is this okay?”
Buck grabs at the arms that are wrapped around him, stopping Eddie’s descent. “Y-yeah. It’s-it’s okay.” He pulls at Eddie’s arms and the man settles back behind him, burrowing his face into the juncture where Buck’s neck meets his shoulder as he shuffles closer.
Soft kisses are pressed into his skin and Buck is helpless but to relax back into Eddie, letting the comfort and warmth of whatever is happening wrap around him.
“Stay?” He whispers, not sure if Eddie can hear him but not being brave enough to say it any louder. He feels like he’s asking too much.
A kiss behind his ear. “Okay.”

First ever ship: idk i think i shipped justin x britney irl when i was like 10, no i don't really count that. i do count steve & dj from full house, harvey & sabrina from sabrina the teenage witch, & cory & topanga from boy meets world. not sure what my first ever was. I'm sure it was doug and patti mayonnaise as a kid i loved them and remember wanting them to eventually go on a date at their burger spot. semma was the first ship when i found out what shipping was, but i'd been shipping long before i knew what that was.
Last song: random christmas songs on the radio, the last one i heard was the ronette's rendition of sleigh ride.
Last film: last night i watched deck the halls with my boyfriend.
Currently reading: fanfiction tbh, but i do have books i got to get through sometime. I'm really gonna try to finish memoir the woman in me by britney spears.
Currently watching: idk this maury-esque show on tv rn on my day off, last vacay day. It is like drama and a bad kids story about how like this kid is going to learn to grow up her name is heaven.
Currently consuming: wawa sugar free salted carmel iced coffee!!
Currently craving: a fajita from plaza azteca, maybe a fresh mojito or marg and the fajita has to have it with all the fixins, and for dessert a rich mousse or a rich dense chocolate cake mm!🥰

i have found myself with like. four silly wips i’m poking at very half-heartedly more from just. life busy-ness than block but this is from a prompt fill i’m doing!
Nevertheless, it gives him enough visibility to see what the trolley holds and—of course. Of course it’s a little chocolate fondue fountain with all the trimmings. He picks up a single strawberry and stares at it in horror.
But—that’s why the receptionist said congratulations to him. She thinks he’s getting married. She gave him the bridal suite. Maddie and Chim are probably in some room down the hall wondering if the Lees are not-so-subtly encouraging them to sleep apart the night before their wedding.
This is fixable, this is fine, Buck’s going to swap their rooms back and Chim will thank him in a way that’s kind of gross and all Eddie will ever have to know of this is the amusing anecdote they tell in the distant future someday.
Except—
“What do you mean you’re in the bridal suite?” Buck barks into the phone, pacing up and down the incredibly plush carpeting of this hotel room. “I’m in the fucking bridal suite.”
“Okay, Buck, calm down. What do you mean? We’ve got all the romantic stuff laid out—the strawberries and the chocolate and the champagne—”
“I’ve got the strawberries and the chocolate and the champagne,” Buck whispers, fingers so tight around his phone he thinks he can hear something cracking.
