starting swordtember this year because sketching these is actually pretty relaxing.. might not finish it, but here's the first few.

Day 2: Wizard

"A wizards greatest weapon is their mind. A wizards second greatest weapon is a Battle Mage's Portal-able Sword available at your local hardware store for 500 golden pieces"

This one was a tuffy, but I learned quite a bit. Huge shout out to pixelartjourny, for their tutorials, and providing a foundation to work off of. (I kinda stole their Witch sword and tried to expand it)

Scimitar of the Shady Skallywagg melee weapon (sword, martial, one hand) While the decorative candle may emit an unsettling sickly light, it also boasts a hidden tip that may or may not contain poison.  Oddly enough it passes ownership frequently, previous wielders either dying under mysterious circumstances or denying that they ever swung this blade. 

....does...the largest skull appear to be watching you....?

Day 2; Candle Sword

This was a fun sword to draw today! It has a metal handle, wax blade, and glass ball on top to keep the flame from going out while swinging. I also added some carvings into it for decoration and to make it look more noble.

The bad part about this sword is that it probably wouldn’t cut very well and does last forever because you need to burn it for the full effect and aesthetic. But I would totally get this sword lol, I love it!

SWORDTEMBER DAY 2 : WIZARD

The Shrunken Sanctum, of chipped stone and drying laundry 🪄 "It is very hard to humiliate a wizard. When one’s career consists largely of wearing silly bespeckled robes, doing odd dances, and chanting what is academically referred to as “mumbo jumbo”, a wizards typical social standing is more of a social laying flat on the ground in comparison to the rest of their arcane peers. Although, a rare case of wizard embarrassment came at the bitter fruition of a rivalry between a certain Briny E. Cutforth and Jaques Mossfoot, two wizards who had been at each others throats for decades. It was the sort of feud that no one quite remembered how it had ever started, and ended with Mossfoot shrinking Cutforth’s entire home - wizard included - and reducing his rival to an ornate display piece for his own lopsided tower. Now, mounted on his own trusty sword, Cutforth still lives his days in his little tower. Conversations with the tiny Briny show he is actually quite fond of this predicament. Far less components are needed for spells when you’re the size of a matchstick, and less uninvited folk come banging on your door asking for cure alls, miracles and charms. Wizards - as anyone who has held a conversation with one for more than five minutes can attest to - are very odd creatures.”

Day 2! Really happy with how this one turned out hehe - this is for all my wizard buddies who follow me :3 back to drawing swords! So much to do :D
