SWORDTEMBER DAY 10 : HEALER

Ambrosia, of cold metal and warm nectar 🍯🦋 “The healer returned with a large, spherical jar. Inside was a thick, yellow liquid. It sloshed and bubbled, a gentle buzz filling the air and a faint amber glow filling the tent, casting a golden shine on the various tapestries, herbs, and other trinkets hanging from the fabric walls. ‘Here.’ She scooped a handful of the liquid out with her fingers, and spread it generously across your leg. You winced at first, a sharp pain shooting up your side, then eased as you felt it. Warm, gooey, a faint numbing buzz. You felt your skin stitch itself up, your broken bone shift - not uncomfortably so - back into place. Your marrow knitting closed, muscle threading firm and strong. It was so warm, and smelled so sweet. You smiled, and felt sleep fall over you like a heavy blanket. Familiar, and safe”

Love animating some goo :} the only downside is now I really wanna eat this stuff…

First two swords for Swordtember 2023!

Witch "As alchemists sought to turn lead into gold, this liquid metal blade lashes out and wounds its wielders' foes, transmuting spilled blood into glittering fuel. The more blood it drinks, the more potent its side-effects become, filling the battlefield with dizzying miasma."

Wizard "A sharp blade of pure magic, made solid by careful spellwork. It looks unassuming, but the true wellspring of its power drinks deep from inhuman sources; when left to its own devices it always points upward. Breaking it is not advised."

Forging swords out of stardust is a skill reserved to the most skilled artificers and wizards, as they require a good deal of skill and magic, as well a spark of the divine. However, it is also possible to obtain such a weapon by contacting entities from beyond the stars. This tends to lead to a pact, or maybe some exchange of sorts. However, these entities can be capricious, and their understanding of wealth and riches is entirely alien. Their requests often seem completely incomprehesible.

First sword for Swordtember! Starting out with Cosmic, a sword made out of crystal and a miniature black hole, all bound up by a constellation. I have a masterlist of my Swordtember pics, check out this post! (This one is has been bought by @knightcallie !!!)
