hey team, now that i'm doing a dorym-focused rewatch, i just noticed dorian's (robbie's?) super quiet little "that's my friend 😁" under the chatter of orym finishing a clutch round of combat in episode three and i just wanted to share
rivers doubts his abilities after a near-death experience and phrases gives him a much needed pep talk.
ive been thinking abt walkerator au for a while now. i have such mixed feelings about these aus tbh, but ive decided to be self-indulgent cuz theyre MY little idiots and i will put them in situations if i want

Absolutely loved Sweet Combat! I mean I love it up until the two main leads start having issues because it kind of gets annoying from all the misunderstandings and the fact Guan Xiao Tong's character is so closed off and doesn't express her feelings well. This is probably the first drama where I actually liked the third wheel character better, I can't even express how much I love Ivy Shao's character Sun Xiaomi. She was probably the cutest person I've ever seen in my life and the fact Ming Tian could turn her down twice was just nuts, I was like anyone who would turn her down is just crazy lol. Not that I didn't like the Female Lead FangYu but she just isn't someone I could connect to as well, I like people who can tell you how they feel. I really liked Ya Nan as well, she was such a fun little firecracker, cute. Watching all of the main casts relationships was fun to watch but some of the troubles they had seemed forced especially the tired narrative of rich relative trying to split up the couple because they live in two different worlds, whatever that means. The fight scenes were super fun and comical. The support characters were great as well. The real reason to watch this though is the bonds between friends and lovers that develop. If they could have reduced some of the trouble between the main couple it would have been a perfect drama. I still had a blast watching it and it was worth it for Ivy Shao alone. Definitely recommended!!!
Do you think the Avengers would get annoyed that Loki keeps insisting on hand-to-hand-ing enemies even though he’s supposed to be the magic guy? Do you think Loki would lecture them about it in some profound way about having had his hands far longer than he has trained his magic? Do you think Thor would snicker at the meaningless poetry and volunteer to use more lightning next time if they want a light show?
