Welcome to the official best malewife competition!
inspired by the other Official Tumblr Competition polls, such as my favourites are @autismswagsummit, @nonbiney-swag-competition, @swaglesscompetition, @gotalittletoosilly, and @adhdswagcompetition :))
this is gonna be a bracket poll competition deciding who the ultimate malewife is, but this beloved label has many cultural definitions - for the purpose of this competition, I invite you to submit anyone who simply has malewife energy. my personal exemplar is hannibal from nbc hannibal - he committed MANY crimes and yet he is still sweet, suave, an excellent cook and most importantly, slay. there are bonus points available if your malewife of choice manages to tick off the trifecta:

RULES
no real people - use your thoughts to work out whether this applies - I know nothing about anything like mcyt, if the irl creator has expressed that they're ok with their character being used for stuff like this, go ahead, but characters only, not the creators

a malewife does not necessarily have to be male - non binary malewifes are of course welcome, and i am going to cautiously say that if you feel your character's malewife energy transcends the barriers of gender, you can submit feminine characters
multiple submissions are welcome!!
characters will be selected by number of votes, and i will be holding a couple polls for characters with few submissions but my favourite justifications, so that there's hope for the niche characters and it's a bit more fun!!

I think i will be choosing about 32, but i may change my mind.
Please keep in mind this is just a silly little competition, nothing serious!! I just thought this would be a fun idea.

Lovecore Swag Showdown
You know the drill <3 Submit lovecore characters for me to pit against each other in a battle to the death! Inspired by like everyone on @competition-list
I'm accepting submissions for characters since I know like 3 media ever and don't know enough characters for this.
RULES:
No real people
OCs are allowed, they just may not end up being included if I get enough characters
Lovecore is kind of a loose thing in my brain but if they aren't at least pink or have one heart shape on their design they may not count. I'm not gonna be hard on this rule tho go nuts
Multiple submissions are allowed, just don't submit the same guy multiple times
I added a space to talk about why you're submitting them just for fun because I think it'd be funny

This blog was inspired by the@nonbiney-swag-competition, @transgenderswagcompetition and @autismswagsummit, go check them out if you haven’t yet!
RULES!
1- NO. REAL. PEOPLE. We all appreciate our real disabled folks, but this is just for fictional characters, so no Celebs, YouTubers, speech givers etc.
2- Only physical disabilities. We have other competitions for neurodivergent characters, so I just wanted to focus on physical disabilities like blindness, hearing loss, speech impediments, chronic pain, amputation, etc.
3- Non-Human Disabilities are allowed. Can your character function like a human being, but their species has some extra features we don’t? That’s completely fine! A fairy without wings, a witch with a curse, an empath who can’t read your feelings, they’re all allowed!
4- They have to be canon. For neurodivergence and sexuality you can get away with head canons, but for a physical disability you kinda need it to be canon. The text does not have to treat it like a disability, like in Barbie: Fairytopia, but they need to be there.
5- You can Submit multiple characters. Submit all the characters you want, just submit each one once, don’t rig it, pls

submissions are open until i get enough; i will put a date on it at some point but i dont know when that will be. the bracket will consist of 32 or 64 contestants depending on turnout
rules:
no real people! live action characters are allowed, but i will prioritize those that arent live action
edit: submit however many characters you want, but only submit each character once
the character has to be a man. if the character has something weird going on with their gender (for example, its not clear if theyre a crossdresser or transfem), they might be allowed, but please tell me about what their deal is - thats one of the things that the last option in the form is for. edit: this applies to characters with which its not clear if theyre a crossdresser or transmasc!
the character doesnt have to be from a visual media, but they have to have a canon design. it can be a description, it can be official art, but it has to exist
i am planning to seed the bracket based on the number of nominations; there are two characters i would like to put in either way, but id rather not skew the data (...immediately) by revealing who
