International known German artist SEAK Claus Winkler studio dairy: Just mixed anything ish from with in the fridge in a bowl. Meals for tomorrow. Lots of rice potatoes, beans, red Kraut, tomatoe soup, raisins, a summer mint choco drink mix powder. The mint is little too industry chemic taste. Well it takes away all possible enjoyment conotations. No emotional eatling, just being healthy full. From the amount I guess, that’s food till Sunday. The good it steers me with in looking for other pleasures aside meals. My usual happy moments. Learning being enjoying other things/ moments. No food pleasure, no sugar, no alcohol, no pressures what so ever. Just enjoying the moment, the being present. Maybe lifting weights is a above pleasure dopamine hit. Iam doing art office work at the moment. Learning living with in the absence@of my usual pleasure. Discipline wins the day, everday. Loving the process without rewarding system. This is the way. Excited to announce the Opening next Sunday, Jan. 11, 2-4 at Stellarhighway Gallery, of my solo show entitled, “Where Parting is No More”. It will run until January 29, 2023 This exhibition features a selection of paintings from 1989-1998 that use formerly damaged and discarded frames. I refurbished and, in some cases, reconfigured them to be able to introduce other elements to the work, wanting to make the paintings more sculptural. No works from this series of 24 paintings have be shown together in the public sphere since the early 1990’s. It will be fantastic for me to see some of them installed in Stellarhighway’s charming gallery in Brooklyn. The images are of some of the paintings that will be included in the show. Artist, Claus Winkler: Malen macht mir Spaß wie Frauen, essen, Filme gucken. Computer spielen würde mir wahrscheinlich gleich viel Spaß machen wie malen, und Segeln auf historischen Schiffen. Malen, & dabei abtauchen, sich im arbeits Fluss selbst vergesessen. Ich denke von den Formen, & Farben, von der haptik, und den Sinnen, baue Ich im Geiste Dreiecks reflektionen. Eine Farbe, Form, stellt den erweiterten gedachten Endpunkt eines Gedanken, einer Phantasie, einer Visualisierungen da. Die Art wie die Farbe von der Textur ist passt zum Gedanken, gleichzeitig weil die Farbe auch eine Farbe hat, verändert sich durch die Wirkung der Farbe der Gedanke, die reflektion. Je nachdem Wie Ich male, wie schnell sich die Fläche verändert verändern sich meine Gedanken. Meine bewussten, sowie die Unbewussten, sowie alle anderen Unbewussten Programme welche in der Psyche so mitlaufen. Durch das malen habe Ich immer ein höheres für mich attraktiveres Ziel. Ich kann überall malen. Ja natürlich auf allen Wänden, Zügen, Fahrzeugen, Dingen. Ich meinte jetzt aber eher meine Leinenstoff, oder Papier Gemälde. Hätte jetzt fast Atelier Arbeiten gesagt. Ich male ja an denn selben Gemälden seit vielen Jahren in Rotation. Will heißen Ich kann mich mit einen kleinen Pinsel überall hinsetzen & details malen, egal wo. Lounge, Atelier, Küche, Wohnzimmer, Zug, Flugzeug, Schiffsdeck, im Wald Ala openair am Wander PicknickTisch, Bundesbahn Lounge, Hotel Zimmer, Hotellobby, Wald, Strand, Restaurant, überall. Ich kann beim malen eine ästhetisch kulturell schlechte Räumliche Situation mir durchs malen schön denken. I took a page from the notebook by @cynthiabringle and threw pots on my birthday. Not twenty pound bowls but just a board of tea bowls. Throwing on the wheel has become so part of me that when I recently broke a finger and couldn’t throw pots, I felt off balance. I worked on hand building instead, but if feels good to be working on the wheel again.
