Welp. It turns out Himawari isn't the only person who needs protection from haters
People are being absolutely abhorrently homophobic towards poor Mitsuki because he talks to Eida about love and apparently he says he loves Kawaki (Boruto)?
Though some are saying it's a mistranslation, even if it is, that STILL doesn't give people the excuse to be disgusting and be angry at even the POSSIBILITY that a male character in a Shonen could be Gay or anything other than Straight.
I'm utterly disgusted by the way people have been acting towards this chapter. The Homophobia AND Misogyny really jumped out. Nice to see the Fandom showing it's true colors 🙄
I don't know why anybody is surprised by Mitsuki's confession. He's spent the entire manga claiming Boruto is his sole purpose for existing and calling him the Sun to his Moon. He's said his goal is to spend the rest of his life by Boruto's side.
The anime even has Mitsuki tell his team not to assume someone's straight. (I don't remember the arc, just the line "He could also love a boy, you know.") The only way this boy could get more queer-coded would be if he started wearing a rainbow flag pin.
Homophobes are just mad that they got their plausible deniability taken away. Just because someone doesn't like the BoruMitsu ship doesn't mean they have to be hateful.

ok + for goodness' sake sasuke so that the screenshot takes up less space
1)parallels between naruto/sasuke and naruto/kawaki. i think honestly carrying over and actually bringing attention to the love-obsession thing that was going on sort of mostly unaddressed in the original series (in terms of no one called naruto as insane as they frankly shouldve) has the potential to be very interesting, especially because bringing it into the sphere of a father-son relationship rather than a platonic/romantic one is not really something i've seen before, along with the fact that kawaki doesn't actually know naruto much at all, making this very much an idolization of an idea of the person who saved you, someone who can do no wrong and is so without flaw. it was what this dude said:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
like kawaki's obsession is weird and emblematic of how he grew up. also, the way that both of them sort of end up treating the other like a thing to be protected or owned or passed around, kawaki trapping him in time prison with zero regards for the fact that no one wants to be in time prison, and naruto's famous "give sasuke back/dont talk about sasuke like you own him in front of me/i'll get sasuke back/ill break your legs if i have to", there is the dismissal of actual personal wants However.
kawaki does this because he thinks that naruto's life is worth more than anything ever, and the reason he thinks this is because he thinks naruto is the most perfect person in the world and the only one who can save the world from evil. in naruto's case, even though he has a habit of possessiveness, sasuke is very much still a person to him, someone he violently and desperately wants to be close to. he doesnt think sasuke is perfect or can do no wrong, he just doesnt really give a fuck what wrong things sasuke does because he loves him too much and wants him too bad to ever hold anything against him. anything sasuke does is understandable and forgivable. naruto wouldnt put sasuke in time prison to protect him because then they couldnt hang out, and he knows sasuke wouldnt want that anyways. while i think naruto's obsession is insane, its more possessive than dehumanizing, which is def the angle kawaki is taking. again, i think this could be interesting if it was expounded upon but i dont think anyone in boruto is enough of a character for this actually do be pulled off in any satisfying way.
2)boruto/kawaki vs naruto/sasuke. i think honestly i just dont really have it in me to even act like kawaki and boruto have a dynamic that even comes close to the bullshit naruto and sasuke have going on, but if i were to attempt to explain why i dont think this is the case than i think at least part of it (beyond the fact taht ever character in boruto is painfully undercooked) is that boruto and kawaki's bond is based almost entirely around both being marked by karma. like they become friends sort of on a more surface level same way boruto is friends with anyone else, but its definitely not the same as naruto and sasuke's inexplicable pull towards one another since they were kids. even though kawaki has like sort of stupid convoluted internal strife going on, boruto doesnt honestly have enough inner issues to even shadow the bizarre knot that is sns. boruto and naruto both didn't want to kill their wayward friends because it's hard to kill someone you care about, i don't think that reads as a strong parallel because its like . what kind of story would it be if boruto was just like Okay lets kill him... now! also if kawaki dies naruto stays trapped im p sure so if he kills kawaki he is also functionally killing his dad
3)naruto and sasuke are both terrible parents but sasuke is leagues leagues leagues worse and he sees boruto has his son more than he will ever see sarada as his daughter. to him, she is his daughter because that is the only way she should have the sharingan. he can't really stand being around her and any interaction he has with her is out of guilt. boruto is his son because boruto is naruto's son
4)why did they bring up that jiraiya might get resurrected and then just drop it or is this me forgetting since i watched boruto 6+ months ago

'Ada deserves better than Kawaki'
The worst thing Kawaki has done to Ada
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The worst things Ada has done to Kawaki
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The worst Kawaki ever did to Ada was grab her collar to force her to lie which she could've disobeyed, thats it.
The worst things Ada did to Kawaki is
Trade everybody important to Kawaki in exchange for Code to spare him so she can pursue him, essentially human trafficking according to Bug, which is a horrible experience Kawaki's already gone through
Asking Code to spare Naruto after seeing how much he meant to Kawaki but when he refuses she says fine and to just not let Kawaki know shes involved because she dont want him to hate her, but could care less about the pain losing Naruto would have on him
She could've sent Daemon to intervene when Momo was brutally beating Kawaki and then about to kill Naruto right infront of him yet she sat there watching the whole thing and never tried to help despate literally watching in real time the despair Kawaki was in watching Naruto about to die.
She says Codes goals have nothing to do with her and that shes only helping him in exchange for Kawaki, yet when Shikamaru offers to make that happen without Code she still chooses to leave with Code and help him get his limiters off knowing how difficult that'd make things for everyone he cares about because she knows in the end they'd have to rely on her and Daemon for protection which'll give her access to Kawaki in exchange for that protection
Forced him on glorified house arrest
She holds the entire village hostage by the fact that they need Daemons strength and Ada's sight to deal with Code in exchange for getting to live with Kawaki against his will, Kawaki is not asked for his consent about ANY of this and it was all a deal that Amado and Shikamaru made with her on his behalf and she did not care as long as she's benefiting from Kawaki's trafficking
She allows her brother to beat Kawaki unconscious UNINTERUPPTED when they first meet and does not apologize to him for it
When Kawaki confronts her about her partnership with Code and correctly deduces that she sold Boruto out in exchange for him, Ada doesnt feel any remorse for it nor does she apologize for her selfishness, instead she changes the subject altogether and doesnt even address it
Even though it was unintentional she made omnipotence happen and completely miscontrued what Kawaki wanted by making him take Boruto's place entirely when all he actually wanted, and clearly stated, was for Boruto to be seen as an outsider so that nobody would interfere or feel bad when he kills him
Because of her now Kawaki is being forced to live a miserable life with everyone treating him like Boruto when he doesnt want that and also listening to ppl talk about how much they actually hate him and want him dead everytime they talk about Boruto who they really mean Kawaki when they say those cruel things. Meanwhile Ada is at home chillin without a care in the world about how her mess has affected him, infact she just suggests giving up on trying to undo it despite supposedly feeling bad for making Kawaki seem like a coward.
STFU
Ada does NOT deserve better, KAWAKI does, from the moment she's been introduced, literally the MOMENT she was introduced she didnt give a danm about Kawaki's feelings or consent AT ALL and made multiple deals disregarding the ppl he cares about with 3 different ppl in exchange for him like he wasnt even a human being but a piece of property to be bought and sold.
She felt zero remorse, I repeat, she felt ZERO remorse about working with Code who nearly killed Naruto right infront of him, and sold his brother out in exchange for him, when confronted about it by Kawaki himself and she has the chance to apologize she DOESNT do it, not just there, but she NEVER owns up to the fked up things she did nor apologizes to him for it, yet she apologizes to Boruto multiple times despite Kawaki being the one she supposedly loves.
How anybody, and I mean ANYBODY thinks Ada's the victim here is beyond me, even more so how anyone thinks Kawaki would ever even CONSIDER being together with her after all this when he himself has said she's scum and that he would've rathered taken his chances with Code than even meet her, 3 years have passed and Ada is still sitting home alone while Kawaki completely ignores her existence, how any of you think this ship has ANY possibility of happening is laughable, its even worse than KawaSumi's chances and theirs are low as hell too, but even that has more of a chance than Ada ever will.
So like I said, stfu, Ada doesnt deserve better, Kawaki does, if anything Ada deserves WORSE because she has gotten off scott free with no repercussions for way too long.

I'm mad that even after Sumire has shown lot of concerns and kindness to Kawaki, Amado and Eida, no one cares, like they took her for granted. Plus, I really don't like bond between her and Sarada, like Sarada also took her for granted too, which is just not fair. The only person who really worries about her is Boruto. Maybe Katatsuke and Akita appreciates her but in professional way. But still, she never stops caring about it, she truly is selfless and should deserve more.
So true, like Sumire has actually tried being a friend with Eida and Kawaki. Amado it was his idea to take her as an assistant so hoping he at least has some level of concern or appreciation for her.
Same with her friendship with Sarada is practically nothing with Sumire comforting her or taking the initiative to interact from what we have seen so far.
I feel Katatsuke and Akita do care we simply haven't seen enough of them though.
Then Boruto who so far not factoring in her team in the anime is the only one really shown to care.
Sumire needs more appreciation from those close to her. She doesn't really care about it, but that just makes her that more deserving of some love and appreciation.

ー𝒊𝒕 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒑 𝒃𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒆
𝖳𝗁𝖾𝗒 𝗁𝖺𝗏𝖾 𝖾𝖺𝖼𝗁 𝗈𝗍𝗁𝖾𝗋. 𝖠𝗇𝖽 𝗂𝗍'𝗌 𝖾𝗏𝖾𝗒𝗍𝗁𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝗍𝗁𝖺𝗍 𝗆𝖺𝗍𝗍𝖾𝗋𝗌.
Boruto held back his exasperated sigh upon seeing his dad's been following him around the house after they got back from the battle. He was also fully aware how his dad tried to make it subtle but how could he not notice? Boruto could feel all the lingering gaze like Naruto wouldn’t even let a second slip away without him in his sight. Or how Naruto had leaned beside the bathroom door, waiting for him to step out, just to check that he was still there and okay, until he finally walked away when Boruto gave him a questioning look.
Boruto understood the worry and relief still devoutly apparent on his father’s face. After all, he’d experienced the same thing back when they fought against Isshiki. The thought of losing his dad was still sharp in his memory; the gripping dread as he waited for his dad to open his eyes or every ticking second that passed through as it howled out the hymn of death; each of them just kept reminding him just how horrendous, dire, and soul-numbing it was to almost lose someone you loved.
Thus, he didn’t really have the heart to straight up telling his dad to leave him alone. Not to mention when he still could see the troubled expression plastered on his face.
But, the moment his dad followed his step into his bedroom, did Boruto finally lose his control of the words he’d been holding all along. “Cut it out already, Tou-chan–” but his sentence was cut midway after he swung his body and found Naruto standing past the door frame while looking at him with eyes faintly glistening with a layer of crystal clear water. Hints of tears already drowning his blue eyes.
Boruto gulped, swallowed down the words he was meaning to say. When he looked up straight into his dad’s eyes though, Naruto immediately averted his gaze as if he didn’t want to show him another view of his vulnerable side–knowing how his son would feel bad and awkward on the matter.
Boruto’s more like a tsundere type, sometimes cringes when he witnesses his parents being lovey-dovey with their shameless show of affection (which is an everyday view in the household), but right at that moment, he softened up. Something within his chest melted and clenched at once–if that even makes sense–upon seeing his dad looking almost dead in front of him.
And he felt so bad for making him look like that. After all, the decision of everything that had transpired was nothing but his own will. And Kawaki being the other party that had agreed to execute the rest of what he thought was the only possible way out if the worst case scenario really happens. Until it really did.
Boruto knew his dad was holding himself back and he decided to be the one opening the door for him. He slowly spread his arms, looking at his dad with very slight blush on his face, then saying, “You know, you can give me a hug if you want–” and the next thing he knew, without even having the chance to finish his sentence, was his dad’s big, warm embrace holding him a little bit too tightly. He was slightly taken aback, until he slowly returned the hug and let them stay like that for a moment. He felt so small yet it also tugged on his heartstrings of the faint familiar feeling melted from inside his chest.
Naruto still hadn’t said anything but Boruto could very much feel the uneven and anxious breathing his dad labored. Exactly like that time when he had hugged him on top of the hokage monument, with a promise from a father in which he found solace beneath his words.
“...so–sorry…” Naruto whispered amidst his heavy breathing. “...I didn’t even know…that you’ve made a decision to such an extent… What kind of a father am I? I wasn't even aware of what my own son has been bearing… I’m sorry, Boruto… Tou-chan is so sorr–”
“It’s not your fault, Tou-chan,” Boruto calmly cut him. He clenched his fist onto his father’s back shirt and whispered, “It’s never your fault. I’m a shinobi, remember? You should know better than anyone what it entails once we put Konoha's hitai-ate on our head. Death is always one step away for people like us. And I’m always ready to die–”
“Don’t say that–” he choked on his voice, “...just please…don’t say that.” Boruto gulped, biting his own tongue, and gave him a curt nod to replace his remaining words left unspoken.
As much as Naruto knew how true what Boruto said was, he didn’t–would never–have it in him to hear him say it out loud. And as much as he wanted to deny the fate that had befall onto them, it would never stop being true.
But he also knew one other thing he could be so sure more than anything else in the world, that also would never stop being true.
“You know, Boruto… No matter how much fate hates us…or even if the whole world goes against you, you’ll always have me. You’ll always have your Kaa-chan. You’ll always have your family…” Naruto tried to hold back the quiver on his lips. “The fact that you are our son will never stop being true. It will never stop being true.”
Boruto felt his throat tighten. Finding himself unable to utter a single word, he made way for a nod as an answer. The hug didn’t even loosen up even the slightest and, as uncharacteristically as it may sound, Boruto felt as if it wasn’t enough. Maybe that’s one of the little things he failed to take into account when he sealed his resolve with Kawaki: he took those small things for granted. He already anticipated the worst case scenario of what the future may hold thus he’d been preparing himself for it. But, truth be told, he still never knew when that doom would finally befall upon him. That hug might be their last. That moment with his dad might be their last. And with that now deeply engraved in his mind, he held his dad tighter like how he should have been.
After a while they spent in each other’s embrace, Boruto finally broke their silence again. “Tou-chan, I’m kinda tired, ya know,” he carefully whispered.
“Oh, right,” Naruto slowly released his son from his embrace, “I’ll let you rest now.”
Straightening up his posture, Naruto put his hands on Boruto’s shoulders and gave him a gentle squeeze. “Sorry for holding you back from your rest,” he said as he gazed tenderly into another pair of blue eyes mirroring his own. He patted his head and spun around to walk out.
But, it was only a step away when a tug on his sleeve stopped him from his track. He looked back at his son, “What’s wrong?”
“You can stay here…if you want, that is.” Boruto already sensed that his dad didn’t really want to leave yet and just for today, he wanted to push his pride at bay and let his inner child get what he wants.
Trying to hide his blush, Boruto hurriedly spun around and walked toward his bed. He tucked himself comfortably under his blanket while Naruto dragged a chair for him to sit beside the bed.
“Now you really look like a kid, ya know,” Naruto chuckled.
“Stop it. I’m a tough shinobi, ya know!”
Naruto laughed as he saw the faint blush on his face, before he shuffled on his bed to face the wall, his back to him. He was trying to hide himself and Naruto found it really cute.
“I’m really gonna sleep now. You can leave if you want.” His voice was muffled beneath the blanket but Naruto still managed to catch it clearly.
“Nah, I’m good.”
As much as he hated being watched as he slept, Boruto was willing to endure it that time. Until finally his weariness got the best of him and embraced his whole sense into a deep, comfortable slumber.
--
Hinata knew something had happened. She realized it right away after his husband and only one son came back home. Kawaki was submitted to the hospital, Naruto had told her. But, she could easily sense something was more to it. The distraught expression and his tear-stricken face just spoke volumes, louder than the words he couldn’t bring himself to say yet.
As unfathomable as it was, she could feel the faint dread settle on the pit of her stomach, giving away a familiar feeling as to that time when they lost Kurama. Like something was lost, but she couldn’t really grasp her hands on it precisely.
So, she decided to wait for his explanation. Whenever Naruto was ready.
She closed the photo album when she heard the quiet creak of their bedroom door being pushed open, then putting it on the nightstand and looking up to see Naruto there. He smiled at her. And he looked so tired. He looked so tired like he’d just aged a few years older in the span of that few hours he was away to chase after their sons. Whatever had happened there on the battlefield, she’d already prepared herself to hear it. They were a family of shinobi. And something like that should never be something new to them.
She glanced at the clock briefly to find out that it was already past midnight. She knew Naruto had been spending his time in Boruto’s room, for whatever reason it was they spent on doing.
Hinata waited for Naruto as he walked slowly toward their bed. His head hung lower and lower the more he approached her until he stopped on the bedside. Standing still.
“Hinata,” he spoke, though it was more like a whisper. He finally mustered the strength to lift his gaze and settle them in the cradle of her gentle eyes.
When their eyes made the contact, a soft sigh followed by a small smile escaped her lips.  “Come here,” she said, spreading her arms wide, ready to hold him.
Naruto didn’t say anything as he made his way up to the bed, succumbing himself into his wife’s embrace, and settled his head on the crook of her neck. He needed that. He desperately needed that. It always struck him in a surprisingly comforting way how Hinata could always understand him without him needing to say a single word. Like he’d always been an open book for her to read. And he had always, would always, and would never stop finding comfort in her smallest act of gestures and cares.
As she gently rubbed the broad of his back, Naruto was lulled into a calmer state of mind. But, the calmer his mind got, the more and more clear it was for him to recall everything inside his head. All the events that had just happened to his sons came flooding in a slow motion kind of flashback. Like a broken record refusing to stop and haunt him with its gripping dread.
He found himself starting to breathe deeper, rougher. Every inhale and exhale became a labor of inconvenience, and instinctively, the only thing he could manage was to tighten his embrace on her. Like a ship seeking anchor during a storm in the vast ocean.
Hinata noticed the sudden changes of his state but couldn’t do anything other than holding him in her utmost care while humming an old lullaby she always used to put her children to sleep.
“It’s okay…it’s okay… I’m here,” her voice dropped like silk on his ears.
“Hinata…Hinata…” he whispered. She thought she had imagined it at first but the longer she felt it, the more she was sure of what it was. Her pajama was wet. Naruto was crying.
“I’m–sorry… I’m sorry… I–I’m sorry...” And her assumption was confirmed by his shaking voice, choked by his own sobs. She caressed the back of his head, sparing him all the care she could possibly give…and waited.
“I almost… We almost lost–our son–”
The gentle movement of her hands suddenly came to a halt. She felt her hands start to tremble the more Naruto wailed in her embrace.
“I was right there… Boruto was right in front of me, yet–” he choked on his breath and his sobs broke louder, “–yet I couldn’t do anything. I–I failed him… I’m so sorry Hinata… I’m so sorry…”
So, there’s nothing to worry about, Boruto. If anything were to happen to you, I’d give my life to stop it from happening.
The promise Naruto had made to his son rang deafeningly inside his head. Just like a knife stabbing right to his chest, Naruto found it too hard to bear because of the fact that he had failed his son. He failed him. He failed his promise.
And he couldn’t do anything but continued to cry.
Hinata’s hands went cold as ice, she could barely feel anything from her fingertips. Hinata reached to cup his cheeks and pull his head to look up at her. Bloodshot eyes stared back at her lavender irises, tears never stopped streaming down his cheeks.
“But Boruto is…okay?”
Naruto shook his head. “Momoshiki…he did something to revive him… Boruto was–” he averted his gaze, drops and drops of tears flowed down heavier from his eyes as he looked down, “Boruto was de–” Hinata hurriedly pulled his head back to her chest, hugged him into her tight embrace, attempting to stop him from continuing his words. She couldn’t. She couldn’t possibly bring herself to hear whatever he was about to say.
They stayed like that, hugging each other tightly as he continued his sobs while mumbling an endless sorry with a broken voice.
She should have been prepared. It shouldn’t be something new to her. After all, she’d spent years and years in the grim reality of their cruel world…in the war…or how being a shinobi had cost her many and many of her fallen comrades.
The hymn of death was the song trailing their every step once they pledge their soul to be a shinobi. Giving one’s very lifeblood and devoting their every breath to protect their people. She should be used to that concept of a lifestyle. She should have been prepared the moment she sent her son off to the academy.
Yet, hearing how easy it could have been for her son to slip away from her life, forever, Hinata found that slapping fact felt like a thousand piercing thorns ripping her chest into shatters.
“I had promised him, as his father, to protect him with my life… yet…yet I held him as his body went cold–” he paused to catch on his erratic breathing, “...I couldn’t do anything to stop that. I was so helpless, Hinata… I’m sorry…I’m sorry…”
Hinata cradled his cheeks to make their eyes meet. “It wasn’t your fault…it wasn’t…please stop blaming yourself.” She leaned in then kissed his quivering lips. She rested their forehead together and they stayed like that for a moment.
Hinata didn’t even realize since when did her tears start flowing down her face, if it wasn’t for Naruto’s thumbs weakly wiped them off her cheeks. “I…I failed you…I’m sorry…”
She shook her head, a small smile managed to form on her lips. “Uh-hum..you already did your best, didn’t you?” she gulped down a hard lump on her throat all the while holding back the choked breath that almost slipped out her lips, “Boruto is fine. Our son is fine now.”
Naruto looked solemnly at her, not saying anything. Hinata could easily read how he still blamed himself inside his head, so she only did the best she could do at that very moment.
She gathered him into another long, tight embrace.
In the dead of night, Boruto didn’t wake up even when he felt somebody carefully crawled up his bed and gathered him into a warm, soft embrace. It was loving. It was gentle. And it was comfortable.
It was his mother.
He still didn’t wake up when not long after that, he felt another bigger body settled itself on his other empty side. A hand stretched out to reach both his and his mother’s body, gathering them together. It was strong. It was protective. But it was still loving.
It was his father.
When the dawn broke, Boruto found his little sister already nuzzled herself on the crook of his neck. Both his parents were still there on his side. He felt at peace. He felt all his worries vanished like they had been just a lie. He felt like everything was gonna be just fine. And he decided to close his eyes again, to let that moment last longer.
That day, the storm was looming above the home that had always been filled with sunshine. But, no matter how grim the doom was hovering above them, they still had each other as a family. The fact that they’re family would never stop being true.
It will never stop being true.

Lady Hokage's Approval
Inojin mocks Boruto about asking for Sarada's approval of the mission
Boruto frowned. It was a scarecely noticable motion, but Mitsuki has grown to recognize it over the course of the years. Boruto wasn't going to agree with this.
"Well?" Inojin prompted. "Are we through with this or not?"
"It seems all right to me," Shikadai said, scanning the map once again.
Mitsuki wondered how much longer Boruto would keep silent. It wasn't like him not to express his opinion right away, especially because this mission was dangerous.
He knew what Boruto was going to say.
I want the Hokage to take a look before we depart.
Or I want the Hokage to approve this mission first.
Sarada had long ago given Boruto the authority to act as he considered suitable in situations like this, but even so, he still asked for her opinion once in a while.
Inojin often had a lot to say about Boruto not being a shinobi "independent enough" to make his own decisions without Sarada's consent. Kawaki considered it a weakness, Chocho called it respect.
Metal once commented it as a habit from the old days that Boruto simply never managed to break - to have her approval as the team captain.
Denki believed that, above all, Boruto just missed working with Sarada on terrain now that she was the Hokage.
Shikadai shrugged phylosophically and said it was love, Lord Sixth had a very similar opinion, though he had not expressed it as elegantly, and Himawari only grinned wickedly when asked about the subject.
"I want the Hokage to approve this mission first," Boruto said now, earning a snort from Inojin and a barely supressed smile from Shikadai.
He shook his head. "There's something very wrong with this. It seems too easy."
Inojin rolled his eyes. "What are you talking about? The plan is impeccable, isn't it, Shikadai?"
Shikdai shrugged. "Maybe it wouldn't be a bad thing to have someone else have a look as well. I mean, we've been staring at this for hours, we might have missed something important."
Mitsuki smiled. He loved that Shikadai took Boruto's side in these matters.
Inojin narrowed his eyes at Shikadai.
"What is it with you always asking for Sarada's approval?" he asked, shifting his gaze to Boruto.
Mitsuki often wondered what was it about Boruto and Sarada that bothered Inojin that much.
"I want her opinion," Boruto said, eyes still on the map. "I have a bad feeling about this."
"A bad feeling?" Inojin echoed. Shikadai glared at him.
"If you are disinterested in the Hokage's opinion, Inojin, why don't you draw us something for transport? I think that would be the best. We shall talk the plan through with Sarada and notify you in a timely manner," Mitsuki smiled sweetly.
Inojin opened his mouth to respond when Shikadai said, "Of course we'll go through this with Sarada. It's a very important and dangerous mission, right, Inojin?"
As Sarada had once said, Shikadai's authority as a team captain may be quiet and unobtrusive, but it was unwavering.
"Right," Inojin said after a shorter pause. "Well, I gotta go now anyway. So please, do inform me in a timely manner," he said and stood up, picking his things.
"What is his problem?" Shikadai gasped after the door closed behind Inojin. "He keeps lashing out at everyone this week. It's becoming a real drag."
"I think that girl he hooked up with last weekend dumped him," Boruto said absently, rubbing his chin.
"Already?" Mitsuki asked curiosuly.
There was a moment of silence before Boruto broke out of his reverie. "Yeah, he's just hurt, Shikadai. Let him be," he said, sounding like his usual-self again.
"You don't get hurt because of a hookup. You get hurt because of bigger things," Shikadai muttered.
"You may be onto something there, Shikadai," Mitsuki said thoughtfully. He'd have to think that through later. Could there possibly be someone who broke Inojin's heart?
"That would explain why he's so annoyed with Boruto and Sarada," he said slowly, making both Boruto and Shikadai give him a weird look.
"I'm not sure I'm following," Shikadai said at the same time Boruto asked, "What does Sarada have to do with Inojin?"
Mitsuki blinked at them. "Nothing, really. I was just thinking out loud." He smiled, knowing it would make Boruto let go of the subject.
"Right. Well, I'll go see her now," Boruto said as he got up. "You guys going?"
"Nah, you go. We've got time to go over the plan in the morning," Shikadai said lazily.
"I thought this was an important and dangerous mission," Boruto grinned, but his smile faltered quickly. He really had bad feeling about it and needed to talk to Sarada, and soon.

What is with the main cast of boruto and dads. Like Boruto, Sarada, Mitsuki (his parent not dad lol.), Sumire, and Kawaki.
This isn’t saying that all their dads are terrible but more like they either had a problem with their dads or their dads are really odd.
Now before you get started with Boruto there’s like nothing wrong with Naruto he is a great dad like 10/10 but it’s just the fact that Boruto resented him for being absent for like a good bit of the series. Even though I don’t agree with Boruto im not going to hold it against him cause it’s not that deep bro srsly.
Then Sasuke bro he literally decided he was gonna dip for ten years and not say a word to his daughter then wanna be shocked when she brings a bento box for Naruto because “he forgot it” but in reality it was just to see him. This isn’t necessarily Sasuke slander but I just feel like he could’ve written to her every now and then with that hawk or something cause Naruto said he can’t charge his devices often. I could go on and on and make this whole thing about that arc and how I felt about it but I’ll save that for another time.
Now there’s nothing wrong with orochimaru when it comes to parenting (that I can remember it’s been a while since I’ve watched it) it’s just the fact that it’s orochimaru . I might have more to add to this after I finish rewatching but for now this is all I have to say really.
Sumire’s dad literally sealed a monster inside her and left his own child with the task of destroying an entire village and leaving her to have to live with killing hundreds of people. That is so sick bro like what kind of father are you bro and ofc danzo was involved am i shocked??? No.
Then Kawakis dad would constantly belittle his son and insult him and telling him he was worthless. He would hurt his own son too and he was a bum drunkard. And I kid you not this broke ass man literally sold his own child for money like what.
Out of this whole list honestly the only dads genuinely I dislike are Kawaki’s and Sumire’s
Cause my bae Naruto was just a single mom who works too hard who loves her kids and never stops. (Y’all ik he has hinata bae taking care of those rugrats I just wanted to quote Reba)He just didn’t have time and Boruto didn’t understand that but he learned so he good now ig??? Also Stan himawari for being even younger than Boruto but still not being hard on Naruto frl‼️
Orochimaru is ok frl just a bit odd why would orochimaru say “what if Sakura is dead already 🙂” IN FRONT OF HER CHILD???.
Sasuke is getting there frl‼️ he is trying harder than he was at least. I think he needs to take a class or something but he loves his peanut so much though. I also feel like writers could include Sakura being a little bit more upfront with Sasuke too. I know at one point she said something to Sasuke about him telling Sarada the truth about the Uchiha and his past and stuff. And they sorta had a disagreement but in my opinion she still wasn’t that assertive. Then again I feel like she doesn’t want to push him too hard because of all he went through which makes her patience with him valid. She is a 10/10 mom too just like Hina for dealing with those children while their husbands were away and all while handling a hospital too.
This post is so random tbh esp because as of right now Boruto has like zero new content both manga and anime I just feel like rewatching.
One day though I’m going to watch Naruto and Boruto and talk about everything that just angers me about the writing.

Trivia
- Myline awakened her sharingan for the first time at the age of 13 and only gets the Mangekyō at 20, after finding Itachi’s already lifeless body. - She is rarely seen using her sharingan, we can count how many times she has used it with our fingers. - Obito presumed that she would never have a sharingan because of her eyes being red instead of black like it is usual for the inactive sharingan but her red eyes are a genetic characteristic from the Yabuza clan and it happens naturally, masking the color of the inactive sharingan. - The Yabuza Clan have their own kekkei genkai, the Kageyogan (Something like eyes of the shadow realm), with the power of teleporting trough shadows, this kekkei genkai along with Myline’s speed gives her an advantage that her opponents should always have in mind.
-Itachi helps Myline with her hygiene as she has a hard time taking care of it, not only because she was never taught how to do it properly (she was born during an invasion that lasted for years) but also because she struggles with lack of motivation and executive dysfunction derived from her depression and possible quiet BPD. - She loves literature and you will probably always find her in a corner reading a good book whenever she is not working. - She went out of her way during a mission once, risking everything just to steal a few rare books from a very important library. - Myline is very respectful towards Itachi’s wish to protect and keep Konoha safe, so she started by invading Konoha in order to find her sister and lure her out of the village, however, she wasn’t expecting their fight to be of such a large destruction, she had clearly underestimated her rage and sister and once she realized they had destroyed part of the wall and the houses close to it she was suddenly consumed by guilt and intrusive voices in her head, losing focus and finally leading to her capture. - She has a chakra regulator tattoo on her left arm with the appearance of two tomoe and a small dot in the middle, it doesn’t give her infinite chakra, but gives her a good reserve of it and is also able to absorb chakra from nature when necessary, because of this, Myline can have a very high and lasting chakra levels, it is not unlimited though. - Myline has an extraordinary and totally unusual speed due do her high and regulated chakra levels, which was an extremely helpful skill against the Raikage. - After the end of the Kara organization and with Kashin Koji gone, she felt lost again, escaping from Konoha with the intention of getting back to Ame No Kuni, killing the current feudal lord and taking the leadership of the country, her goals were to rebuild her village and the whole country. - She got really angry at Naruto once she finally reached Ame No Kuni, as he had promised Nagato and Konan to help them but she was disgusted when she saw the whole country in ruins, left to rot. - She decided to make the country a shelter for renegades in honour to the friends she lost along the way. - While Myline recognizes that Itachi’s end was the best option for him, she can’t help but feel a deep hatred for Sasuke as she has a very hard time processing her feelings and emotions, she can’t do it properly. - Myline developed her own jutsu by mixing both of her chakra natures, fire and wind. Named Fenikkusukaze no Jutsu (something like wind phoenix), the jutsu consists of a large phoenix made of big flames that can be directed and increased by the wind element. - She was fruit of a betrayal, her mother betrayed her husband by having an affair with Yashiro who was one of the recruited to help Yami No Sato at the time.

Lore about my Shikana and Kawaki Next Generation Our Lives Were Written In Stone (part 2)
Narusasu
Sasuke liked Naruto since the chunin exams, Naruto never liked Sasuke he just wanted a fuck. He doesn't care for the kids he has with Sasuke either. He likes them but doesn't really like to acknowledge them as his own. Sasuke knew he was being a homewrecker but thought Naruto lived him cause of how much he chased him, but Naruto only did it for Sakura, who in the end fell out of love with Sasuke. Sasuke loves his kids but believe they're the reason his and Naruto spark is gone
The last name for the kids Uzuchiha
Their kids
Masuke & Masaki, these two were the only ones Naruto wanted/agreed to have. He showed affection to them until the other two were born. (The only reason the other two were born was Kurama's way of fucking Naruto over for cheating on Shikamaru) they are currently 14. Masuke is bisexual while Masaki is a (raging) lesbian.
Miso is practically this au's Boruto, but he hates everyone, not just Naruto, He's like past Sasuke. He is arrogant and pranks like Boruto/Naruto, but his pranks actually hurt people. He is currently 11, and his sexuality is unknown but probably straight
Miko is the best person in the whole Uzuchiha family, He apologized to the Nara Uzumaki kids for his/their father infidelity. He isn't snobby like the rest, and he gets along with all the other kids and families. Miko is actually trans (ftm, dead name-Mikoto) his older brothers joke around about how he'll never be a real boy, which hurts him. Making Miko despise his family more. He is 8 and is straight (though he's still young)
Next up, KarinIno

Boruto Shippings
I think even if Sumire is in love with Boruto, BoruSara will still be Endgame. And here I explain to you why. 1. They blush in each other's presence: There are a lot of scenes in which the two blush because the other has complimented them or said something different. Interacting with others, I have yet to see any of them blush. (Specialtag) Like everyone else, Boruto is very polite to Sumire, naming her after her title as class representative and thus behaving very distantly from her. 2. Why is Sumire asking Sarada if she likes Boruto: Maybe because it's pretty obvious that Sarada likes him? Even her mother seems to have noticed that her daughter talks about Boruto very often. However, the scene where Sumire Sarada confesses her love for Boruto seems so irrelevant, that it doesn't even appear in the anime. 3. Mitsuki as Matchmaker: Mitsuki keeps emphasizing that Sarada and Boruto are/would be a great couple. And the emphasis is on couple and not team or friends. 4. Boruto wants to support Sarada in her goals: Boruto wants to stand by Sarada, when she becomes Hokage. That being said, they have a very healthy relationship based on trust. 5. Brother zoned: I'm sure Sarada loves Boruto and is unaware of her feelings or wants to hide them. That would also suit her tsundere-like character. Sumire will trigger these feelings in the future for Sarada to be aware of them. There was a similar scenery in the anime series Attack on Titan, where the progatonist family zoned her great love and did it again and again, even though everyone around her knew that she was in love with him. Sumire will then match whoever is most like her. Namely Kawaki.

Hello! Can I request for a Team 8 story where Kiba and Shino meet Kawaki for the first time and was introduced as a new addition to the Uzumaki family? Thanks in advance! 😁
Sure!
***
Hinata didn't often surprise Kiba too much, but when she did, she went above and beyond. He would have supposed that being married to someone like Naruto had rubbed off on her, but she'd always been this way, whether it was standing up to her genius cousin or going up against a godlike entity like Pain.
Still, she could have at least told her best friends that she'd been hiding a secret son in a broom closet or something for years and years.
Akamaru seemed to be taking a liking to this...Kawaki's new scent, sniffing his torn pants while the new kid absentmindedly scratched Akamaru's sagging ears. The boy was rapidly leaving his teenage years behind, with a gloomy, sulking expression so typical of people that age.
An odd black mark marred his left palm. Kawaki kept glancing at it every few seconds with the barest flickers of unease. Like it was a bomb ready to go off. Seemed about right, in Kiba's opinion.
"Tea is ready!" Hinata said cheerfully, smiling in a way that suggested she had no idea what bombshell revelation she had just dropped on Team 8. A secret son. She had a secret son. Whose existence she'd apparently hid. For...eighteen...nineteen years? How? Why?
He knew he wasn't the smartest person on Team 8, but he was pretty sure that if Hinata had been having kids years and years ago...he kinda would have noticed. He wasn't that stupid. He wasn't.
Kiba glanced at Shino out of the corner of his eye in a silent plea for help. Unfortunately, Shino gave him a look that plainly said, I'm just as lost as you are.
"So, Hinata..." Shino began. He brought the teacup to his lips and took a small sip, only to spit it out in a large plume, gagging.
Hinata seemed to not care. (Maybe Hinata kind of scared Kiba. Just a little.)
"I'm sorry, Shino-kun, but you'll have to adjust. Kawaki really loves bitter black tea with no sugar. And milk tea with a lot of sugar. And green tea. And barley tea. And pretty much every tea. He keeps saying that everything I give him is the greatest thing he's ever tasted."
Shino opened his mouth, then closed it, then opened it again, then closed it again. He looked like a goldfish, and a few kikaichuu scurried down his face in confusion. Kiba would have laughed at Shino, but he was sure that he didn't look any better.
"I don't know the full story of what happened to him, but I think Kara was feeding him only gruel and food pills for years and years...have no idea why he doesn't look too malnourished, though..." Hinata, once again, seemed unaware that her words were understandable to no one but herself. "Maybe it's because of all those scientific ninja tools inplanted in his body?"
Gruel. Food pills.
Scientific ninja tools.
...Kara?
So this...Kawaki...was not in fact Hinata's secret son, but some...cyborg she'd found somewhere and adopted? Because that was definitely something Hinata would do. She always was too compassionate for her own good.
Kiba downed his cup of hideously bitter tea in a single gulp like it was sake.

Kawaki Academy Arc: The Not-So-Haunted School
I wasn’t expecting much from this so-called horror episode, but it was a lot more entertaining than I predicted. Not because it was scary, but because it was hilarious.
Tumblr media
So we open with Sosha telling the other kids on cleaning duty about the Mysteries of the Academy. Himawari gets the idea to have a ghost hunt, and we quickly get our horror movie roster:
Sosha, the lore master
Himawari, the kid with plot armor
The twins Ran and Suzu, who keep teasing each other about who will run away first
Kura the cat hoodie girl, who has absolutely no relation to Wasabi or cat summoning. Her specialty is scroll summoning and weapons (like Tenten), and she loves horror movies.
Ehou, who screamed and leapt into Himawari’s arms after the first story
Yuina, who is still searching for a solid personality
Kae, who doesn’t believe in ghosts but is still super stoked for a hunt
Kawaki, who is too grown-up for this but will come along if he HAS to. He’s going to scoff and roll his eyes the entire time though.
Tumblr media
As they are planning, Shino comes in with a mop and asks the kids to please finish cleaning. The kids whine that they should be given scientific ninja tools to clean with (valid), but Shino says cleaning the school is part of training. I’m not sure if he means chores are character-building or if they’re practice for cleaning up blood and corpses after missions. Given Konoha’s culture, it could be both.
The kids dismiss Shino, and he overhears them making fun of his name and how forgettable and boring he is. Kawaki, surprisingly enough, is super polite to Shino and offers to take care of everything. (I guess Boruto told him the story of Terminator Shino and warned Kawaki not to mess with Aburames.)
Later that night, the kids meet up and walk boldly into the abandoned school building. Kawaki spots Kae sneaking away from the group and finds her plotting with Batora the butler, who is dressed as an anatomy dummy.
She tells Kawaki her not-so-evil plan: To enact the fake mysteries for the other kids so they have a fun ghost hunt. Kawaki isn’t interested, but Kae says he needs to help her to “preserve Himawari’s innocence.”
Tumblr media
(FYI, the screenshots get super grainy from here on out. Sorry.)
So Kawaki, Kae, and Batora sneak around pretending to terrifying specters such as:
The moving anatomy dummies who will only chase you out of the room and no further.
The bathroom ghost that overflows with red paint blood (The writers repeatedly specify that this is the boys’ bathroom - otherwise that “blood” would have a very different horror to it.)
The autonomous kunai in the training room that fly around with no user
Pacman Hiruzen, whose statue floats around and races through the shrubbery like a video game
Iruka’s portrait, which opens its mouth to show an Orochimaru-like tongue that licks you. Yes, really.
The mirror that transports you to the shadow realm.
Halfway through the night, Kawaki complains that he doesn’t understand why Kae is so obsessed with making these ghosts real. Batora reveals that Kae never got a proper childhood due to being a princess, so she’s living vicariously through Himawari and the others.
Kawaki then decides to be the best ghost he can be. He and Batora hide in the shrubs and carry the Hiruzen statue on their backs while Himawari gives chase. But Himawari’s Byakugan senses plot relevance and finally decides to turn on. She realizes Kawaki is the ghost, but lies to the other kids that she couldn’t see anything.
So by the sixth ghost, the only kids left are Himawari, Ehou, and Yuina. The rest of the kids ran off like cowards at various points in the night. They check out the mirror, and suddenly a floating sheet appears above them. Kawaki and Kae compliment Batora for the neat trick, but Batora says “guys that isn’t me.”
Tumblr media
Ehou and Yuina become so frightened by the floating sheet that they conveniently pass out in fear. Kawaki rushes to Himawari’s defense and tries to punch the bedsheet, to no avail. Kawaki, Kae, and Batora chase the slippery sheet outside into the courtyard in case it’s an assassin. Himawari hangs back and watches over her unconscious teammates.
Kawaki, Kae, and Batora catch up the bedsheet, which is empty. Then the Hiruzen statue just slams onto the ground behind them. The sheet picks up again and flies through a crack in the window back into the building. Kae freaks out and concludes ghosts are real and that she’s angered them by playing pretend. She’s no longer living vicariously - she’s in the ghost story now.
Kawaki realizes the person controlling the “ghost” must be in the faculty office, because that’s the only place the ghost hunters haven’t visited. They run into the office, where they see a shadowy figure scuttling around on all fours like that girl from the ring. Kawaki keeps trying to catch it, but the figure is too fast...until it runs into a bunch of glow-in-the-dark paint that Batora had left earlier on the floor.
The now-glowing figure stands up and turns out to be...Shino. He asks what they’re doing in school so late and why they put open paint buckets in the middle of the floor. Kae says they were ghost hunting, and Shino says “Ghosts? Are you...talking about these guys?” He brings out his shimmering bug hive, which does indeed look ghostly in the moonlight.
Shino explains that he was doing his own cleaning around the grounds - he can’t exactly lecture kids about chores if he slacks off himself. The bugs help him carry supplies like sheets and sponges and such. So basically, Shino’s been cleaning the school occasionally at night, but he’s so quiet and stealthy that any witnesses of his cleaning assumed it was ghost activity.
Tumblr media
The anime doesn’t actually explain the mysteries beyond that, so I’m going to do my best theories:
The moving dummies - The bugs moving the dummies around for cleaning
Haunted toilets - That’s probably bad plumbing
Autonomous kunai - I’m guessing that’s just Shino working out after he’s done cleaning
Floating Hiruzen statue - Maybe this is his version of weight training? I don’t know why else it would be necessary to move a statue to clean, even outdoors.
Iruka portrait - We know from earlier episodes that the kids gossip about poor Iruka a lot, so the idea of a haunted portrait is probably more gossip, unrelated to Shino
The mirror - Maybe the kids saw one of Shino’s bug clones polishing the mirrors and then dissipating, and they thought the clone disappeared into the mirror. Kawaki’s “ghost” was just the bugs carrying a sheet around.
The office ghost - It seems Shino was doing that sprint scrubbing thing to clean the floors instead of using a mop.
Still not sure why Shino was doing all that cleaning in the dark. I suspect Aburame eyes are really sensitive to light and he just prefers cleaning by moonlight when it’s his turn to play janitor. I...hope the teachers take turns cleaning. I know Shino’s a workaholic, but it would be sad if he did this by himself every night.
Anyway, Himawari and her now conscious teammates finally catch up in time to see the glowing Shino. Yuina and Ehou run outside screaming, while Himawari casually tells Shino-sensei hi.
Tumblr media
The next day, the kids are all gossiping about the masked, glowing ghost. Shino thankfully isn’t mad, but rather amused and a little grateful the kids are talking about him at all.
Meanwhile, Himawari and Kawaki chat in the corner, and Himawari reveals she totally figured out Kawaki was the ghost but didn’t want to ruin his and Kae’s effort. Kawaki thanks her for being mature about it, and the two level up in sibling bonding. The end.

OK boruto verdict. thus far obviously. i assumed part 1 of the anime would be ending right before the timeskip shippuden-style but that isn't what happened lol. so i guess the split is kind of arbitrary. anywho its not as good as naruto which is to be expected. but its cute!
i was tbh pretty shocked that boruto stands out as his own character pretty well. he still has some of the Shounen Protag Syndrome that naruto had, meaning its not particularly difficult to guess what he would do in a given situation and there is an element of same-ness to him and every other cheery roughboy protagonist, and there's still a lot of overlap between him and naruto, but i think he's very cute. i love his stubbornness and black and white thinking. he reads as someone who grew up in a loving household but has a mounting frustration with feeling trapped without really knowing whats trapping him.
tbh my biggest issue with boruto thus far i think is that it feels very undercooked, like theres a ton of interesting dynamics that are introduced then barely explored, and if they are its in a kind of cursory way that doesn't really show a lot of respect for the characters involved. the biggest offender with this imo is naruto and boruto's relationship, but sarada and boruto, mitsuki and boruto (mitsuki and sarada on their own as well tbr), and sasuke and sarada are also big examples.
naruto's characterization sort of seems like its gotten lost in an attempt to make him more mature, which like Yeah he should be more mature and i don't think that "naruto is the hokage now and because of how dedicated he is to konoha and to maintaining peace and making everyone in the village feel like they belong, he ends up being stretched too thin and boruto starts to feel ignored and left behind by someone who should be his biggest supporter" is illogical, but his ability to verbally tell people he cares about that he cares seems to have taken a hit, not just his ability to SHOW it (which could logically be stunted by his role as hokage). there shouldve been more exploration into naruto's feelings about boruto as his wayward son who causes problems and doesn't know what he wants. boruto's pov was well and good, but the whole dynamic feels half baked because it's written in a way that naruto isn't supposed to be the focus of it, even though there are obviously two equally important sides to a parent-child dynamic. for naruto's feelings to be so unexplored beyond "i'm so busy" and "i don't want him to grow up" is just a bit of a let down. dgmw there were definitely still really powerful moments between the two of them, but considering parent-child relationships is sort of a focal point of the series i feel like the amount of direct attention that naruto's feelings towards boruto are getting is a disservice.
tbh though i think a lot of the naruto cast has been watered down at least somewhat in order to fill a role that needed to be filled, ive complained about temari a couple times, sakura is rarely seen without an apron on, etc. sasuke is honestly fine, but im genuinely sick with want for a look into how he feels about his and naruto's families in a way that doesn't feel like im being lied to, even though that will never happen. but to be honest his relationship with boruto serves as a pretty good indicator. lol.
i think its interesting that we're exploring a love/obsession/devotion sort of situation this round, again i think it could be made to hurt more but its fine. everything could be made to hurt more. but whatever. its an interesting way to expand on the power and value of love themes in naruto. its unique if anything, which is nice because there are a LOT of story beats that feel lifted right out of naruto. i quite like kawaki in a vacuum, he feels sort of like an odd one out in the cast though im not really sure how that could be remedied. i think he and boruto needed to interact more on regular terms before they started calling each other brother and saying i feel like i could do anything when im with you etc. slow down cowboy! but kawaki's situation as someone who was so horribly abused, finds a family that loves him and is truly and heartfully accepted by naruto as a son, then to become dangerously devoted to protecting naruto because he's the first person to make kawaki feel like his life was worth anything, is Quite interesting to me. if a bit sudden. but i guess thats intentional too.
the plot itself is very very much an ohhh you thought you defeated that guy? well he has SEVERAL friends! type situation. like this didn't need to happen and was clearly tacked on. but its p much exactly what i expected and its managed to create some pretty effective moments for what it is. the fights are really cool and don't drag their feet as much as the ones in naruto did, which is nice.
overall its good, its cute, the new characters are fun even if its at the expense of some of the OGs. there are a million things that i think need to be explored that aren't aliens, but i know they never will be etc. its fine. (it isnt.) it feels more cobbled together than naruto did. but its cute.

hola amiga.
que piensas del arem de Boruto.? Confirmamos ya que mitzuki está enamorado de el sol. Hacia donde navegará el barco en la final?
We're definitely seeing BoruMitsu pretty much confirmed to be at the very least semi canon, its ironic that the anime put all that needless time and effort into the Mitsuki disappearance arc only for it to mean nothing in the manga because Mitsuki is actually going through that exact arc in the manga right now, meaning that anime arc was a complete waste of time and totally irrelevant now, and now it'll have to be retconned in the anime because Mitsuki is supposed to of had this development already, so my guess is their either gonna retcon it and pretend it never happened or their gonna change this situation entirely to fit the anime timeline they set where Mitsuki is actually already sure what his feelings are and what the sun is for him, the only thing left for him to realize anime wise would be his romantic feelings, but in the manga he still doesnt even understand his own identity or what the sun even is to him and is only just now starting to finally address and confront it and do some soul searching.
So where do I see things headed? well first is started here in 69 where Mitsuki first mentions ones true feelings being hard to tell, many thought he was speaking about Sarada, but he was really talking about himself and questioning what his own true feelings are, this is why he asked Sarada about hers to try and figure his out through her, but when she denied it that left him still confused about himself, which is why he stayed silent when Sarada mentioned his eyes lighting up whenever it comes to Boruto, because he himself was unsure of his true feelings.
In 88 Mitsuki is now starting to come to that realization he was lacking before, he hasnt gotten the answer yet, but he is finally willing to question what he's been ignoring all this time, after meeting Boruto again 3 years later, Mitsuki is realizing who his sun is and what the sun truly means to him. He pretty much confirmed hes inlove with Boruto in his conversation with Ada, but HE hasnt figured that out yet, we the audience have, but Mitsuki hasnt yet.
So 69 laid the groundwork for Mitsuki not knowing his own true feelings, 88 laid the groundwork for Mitsuki starting to understand what his true feelings are, now all thats left is for Mitsuki to finally put all the pieces together and realize he loves Boruto.

Now I cant speak too much on Boruto's behalf just yet but what I can say is Boruto reciprocating Mitsuki's affections as much as he does says alot, you see the stark contrast between how Kawaki treats him and Boruto.
Boruto could've easily rejected Mitsuki's whole sun and moon obsession with him, he didnt have to accept Mitsuki at all, yet he not only embraced Mitsuki, but those titles too. He tells Mitsuki that he is his sun, he could've just said he's his friend or hes really the Hokage's son, but no, he specifically tells Mitsuki that he's his sun, that he knows he realized long ago that Kawaki isnt his sun, that Kawaki cant illuminate him no matter how close he sticks to him.

Not only that, but he tells him that he believes he can shine just fine on his own, but if he insists on needing a sun then to come find him anytime. That is pretty clear and strong reciprocation, not saying its proof Boruto likes Mitsuki romantically, but it does imply that hes not particularly opposed to it either.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He respects Mitsuki, cares for Mitsuki, wants to protect Mitsuki, doesnt mind Mitsuki hanging around or sticking close to him, doesnt mind being the sun to his moon, is willing to be Mitsuki's light even though he thinks he shines just fine on his own, he's willing to be that for him anyway if thats what HE wants
Yea, I aint sayin its definitive, but there is some really strong implications there that cannot be ignored.
Kodachi did say in an old interview before he stepped down as writer than he doesnt mind including LGBTQ characters and that for him he doesnt feel like it has to be something heavily focused on but just be a natural progression where its not in your face but you still get the picture, which I believe might end up bein the case for BoruMitsu, even if they arent canon in the end, at the very least their feelings will be.

Hi can you Debunk " sakura is a better mum than Hinata" and " Hinata is a bad mum" also can you show novels where she's talking about her kids etc I think there was one where she was talking about how she remembers when boruto use to have nightmares and about how he's growing up although that might have just been some bs someone made up she said it in a novel but if it was fake you can forget about adding that one
This quite an easy one just googling comes up with so many things to debunk that Sakura is the better mom.
Hinata is the better mother she actually tries to keep her family together and never hurt her own children. She understands Naruto’s situation as well as what her kids are going through and has always done her best for her family. Both Boruto and Himawari were raised outstandingly by Hinata she not only trained them in the shinobi arts, but we see how much both love their mother and how willing they are to help her. Hinata even still sleeps with Himawari that shows how much she cares about them.

Hinata raised and trained her kids well that makes her a good mother. Boruto never truly disliked Naruto as he always wanted his attention. As seen Boruto has his moments of maturity when he rushes to help Hinata , as well as when he skips out on parent and child day so Himawari can have Naruto to herself even though he really wanted to spend time with him as well. As where Himawari is shown to understanding towards Naruto being Hokage even to a greater extent then Boruto and doesn’t complain to Naruto at all cause of it.
Even when Kawaki joined the family Hinata instantly takes to him and treats him like her own son worrying about him.

Even when she watching the movie she was the only one who noticed Kawaki leaving the house who responded as soon as Hinata noticed him.

Hinata is always ready to go into mother mode for her children all three of them.
It's the parent and child day novel you are on about. Here are some of the extracts you asked for.

Any other scenes you are on about may be in a different novels I need an idea of which novels to locate them, here is one from the Naruto Retsuden though I don't consider the series canon for many reasons.

Sakura is not a bad mother, but she is not the best the whole gaiden situation attests to that. Sarada never knew a single thing about Sasuke who never visited once in over 10 years it was no wonder Sarada doubted if they were really married. Then when Sarada brings this questions to her mom Sakura dodges the questions unable to give an answer and the raises her fist at her own daughter making her cry as she hits the ground with enough force to destroy their house. Seriously if Sarada was closer to Sakura or ran into the house she would have gotten hurt. Sarada then finds out that the photos of Sakura and Sasuke were fake and finds another women who Sarada has never seen before, but clearly knows her dad and one who wore glasses like her. This same women turned out to be the one who helped Sakura give birth, but Sakura never mentioned her to her own daughter. In the end if it wasn’t for Naruto Sarada would have left the village with emotional scars that would have never healed pretty much destroying the Uchiha family. Now Sakura has done a good job raising Sarada as a single mother however she was responsible for causing Sarada some of the most painful emotional pain she would ever feel in her life all of it which could have been avoided if she simply explained a few things about Sasuke or took her to see Sasuke every so often.

Honestly Gaiden alone is proof that Sakura isn't a better mother then Hinata, the Uzumaki family she made sure to be their for her children and giving them all the love she never had as child.
