Day 18: Cabs the Brake Van

Ahhh, Cabsy-Cabs....how I despised him when I first joined the fandom. I like to think I've come around, though! ^^

CB Headcanons

A collection of CB headcanons for my au. As always Tw for violence and mentions of blood under the cut.

CB is one of the wealthiest rulers of the districts. This is due to his district being a trading hub for the other districts.

Rolling stock require blood to quench their instincts. CB saw potential in this and now offers blood to the other districts.

He has his own personal reserve of this stuff and almost always drinks his from a wine glass.

He’s very suave at times, acting like a gentleman, but won’t hesitate to become nasty if he feels like it’s needed. On top of this, he can be very teasing at times, especially towards his s/o.

His district is called the Blood District because it literally smells like blood. Disgusting to humans but sweet and enticing to rolling stock.

The architecture in his district is gothic with a vampire aesthetic. A lot of red and black.

His cousin, Red, who is the new CB in the 2018 version of the musical, acts as an assistant while also managing trade. Unlike CB, Red is much more reasonable.

CB is known to be manipulative, using the gift of speech to get his way. Beware of his silver tongue.

When it comes to his s/o, he ensures they get what they want. No matter what. Most humans know better than to cross the king.

He’s very soft and affectionate towards those he’s close to or in a relationship with.

Cuddles galore with this one. He craves physical affection.

He can purr like diesels, but it’s not as deep. However, it can still be soothing to listen to.

Hi! Can you pls share your favourite hcs or images of CB?

Sorry this took so long, anon!! I've been very busy and completely forgot!

I'll give you both!

Hc: He gets cold very easily. Dinah got him a huge, fluffy blue blanket which is bigger than he is, and he sleeps with it every night, even in the summer (though he doesn't necessarily have it over him). Sometimes he runs around wearing it like a cloak.

He also likes to hug Rusty or Greaseball if he gets cold when he's out working because they're both warm and generate heat.

Summary: Struggling with the pressure of her unreciprocated crush on C.B., Dinah is mentally preparing herself to tell him anyway just to get it off her chest. But when she finds him in pain, things go differently than expected and finally a confession is made.

Headcanon: He likes to collect broken radios/catodic tube TVs/cameras/DVD and VHS players to thinker with them and create a net of security cams to spy on the whole trainyard.

Unpopular Opinion: There probably will never be another Caboose like the one portrayes by Michael Staniforth 😔

Favorite Actor: Hans Johnasson, Todd Lester, Kapa Kitchen, and Thierry Gondet

Favorite Song: Wide Smile, High Style! Especially the "Sleep thight sleepyhead, the Red Caboose is under your bed" part!

Favorite Costume: The one he used from Broadway to pre-2018 Bochum

Favorite Ship: DustBoose, FlatBoose, platonic DinahBoose, occasional ElectraBoose

Headcanon: In more than one occasion, he tried to steal Dinah's baked goods. This often backfires because Greaseball's gang guards her cooking, and CB ends up leaving what he stole back where it came from, and then leaves with the tail between his legs.

Unpopular Opinion: Still kinda gloomy he was changed after 2018, but BV is almost as good as CB.
