{{ (So I guess this is more of an unofficial ‘This is Ravus’ post, but hey! It gets the point across!)
Like, legit, I really wanted to say thank you guys for the 200 followers on this blog! It’s kinda surprising, to be honest! I had made this blog after being encouraged to do so by a few followers on my main blog, particularly after seeing this personality of this, well, ‘This Is’ Ravus, and so for it to reach 200 followers is really humbling.
I regret that I’m not more confident in being able to interact with you all, especially with those I’m mutual followers with, but I do enjoy the events that transpire on my dashboard as they come around. And the portrayals that many of you do of your characters? Oh gosh, I adore everything that I see! You all are so great, and I’m super honored to have such great writers following me. I just really wanted you all to know that!
To those that I have been able to meet and talk to though, I’m so honored to have been able to do so! The faces in the fandom and community are so kind, and it’s really fun to be able to chat with you guys about how you guys are, about different plots and ideas, or just random mayhem and weirdness. It’s so great to be able to just chat with you guys about all sorts of fun things, and I hope to continue to talk more with you guys in the future again, so on and so forth.
I’ll do my best in the future to try getting more involved and meet more of you guys! But if I don’t know that I’m watching and admiring you amazing people from afar (like a creep). Keep on being great, friends!

A Curse Meant to Be Broken | Geralt x Reader
Note: Hi folks! I’m still working on some final edits to my newest story, but I figured that I would drop a little preview here. The rest should be up tonight or tomorrow at the latest. :)
Summary: You once lived a happy life--before the Nilfguaardians shattered it. Now, you are forced to serve the Nilfguaardian noble who was given reign of your town and the surrounding villages. And now, he has hired a Witcher, Geralt of Rivia, to come and banish the Noonwraith who has been haunting the town for years--the Noonwraith tied to your old home, the silver locket you wear around your neck, and the blood in your veins.
“How long has this wraith been terrorizing the village?”
You stood in the back of the crowd, not wanting to draw attention to yourself. The powers that be had finally decided to take action against the wraith that had been plaguing the town for years.
You were not so naive as to think it had nothing to do with the fact that the wraith, once inexorably tied to the poorer part of the village, was now making rounds outside the invisible boundary. There was an attack on one of the village nobles a week ago, and a contract was put out on the mysterious woman a day later.
Word must have traveled fast, because only a few days later, Geralt of Rivia rode into town on horseback. He was just as the legends described him. Tall, broad-shouldered—pure muscle, and eyes like a cat’s.
He looked like exactly the type of person who would be able to rid the town of the banish the Noonwraith for good.
It was difficult to hear your master speak over the excited buzzing of the crowd, but you could not risk getting any closer. You were supposed to be making daily deliveries, not idling around in the town square, watching the spectacle. However, considering it appeared that most of the village was crowded around the world-famous Witcher and your master as they spoke, you doubted anyone would be home to receive the letters you were tasked with delivering, anyway.
“Three years,” Stephic said, his thick Nilfguaardian accent tinged with not even the slighted ounce of regret. “The abomination used to keep to an old abandoned home and thereabout, but now the wench is traveling freely around the town.”
Your hand goes automatically to the silver locket around your neck, biting back tears. It was all you had left of her-the last thing you had left of your brave, selfless mother that had been reduced to an abomination.
The part he left out, of course, was that the old abandoned hut he was referring to used to be your family’s home. It had never been a grand place, but it had been home. The Nilfguaardians, however, had no problem ripping it away.
“For three years, there has been a noon-wraith terrorizing the people of your village, and there was no contract on it until this week?” The Witcher’s voice was deep and captivating. You found yourself pressing ever so slightly forward in the crowd to hear.
“Well,” Master Stephic muttered, “It hasn’t been attacking anyone, so long as no one got too close. And we are no great export city, Sir.”
Bullshit. That man had enough gold to fill one of the warehouses that sprang up a half-mile down the road shortly after Nilfguaard arrived, and more pouring in because of it every day. It may not be the largest warehouse in Temeria, but the labor was free.
He couldn’t spare the three hundred crowns because he couldn’t stand to part with money. Now that a true Nilfguaardian had been attacked, he had to shell out the coin so he didn’t end up ousted by his ‘friends.’
“The tannery on the outskirts of the village isn’t bringing in enough cash?” the Witcher asked, feline eyes narrowed. You could hear the rest of the sentence implied by that scowl, even if he didn’t say it aloud. ‘It is not as if labor costs are high.’
An uncomfortable silence settled on the crowd, before the Witcher finally broke it. “But I’m a Witcher, and politics is not my place,” he finally adds. “Where can I find this wraith?”
You suck in a breath, knowing exactly where he could find the wraith, and what he would need to get rid of it. But naturally, you were forbidden to speak to him—you were forbidden to even be here. Growing immediately aware of that fact, you stepped to the side, using another member of the crowd to hide yourself.
“The shack down the road, to the west,” Stephic muttered, gesturing vaguely toward the road branching off from the town toward the forest that bordered its western side. The land was already bathed in the golden sunlight of evening.
You release the breath you did not even realize you were holding, realizing that the Witcher would not be able to do much about it until the next day. A Noonwraith would not emerge in the evening, much less night.
You know that you should not attach yourself to what is left of your mother. Nothing would bring her back—not to the way she was. And even now, when you approached your old home, the wraith would chase you just like she would chase any of the other villagers. You could feel it--the necklace--how it seemed to call to her.
To it, you must remind yourself. She is not Mother anymore.
You turn away from the crowd, feeling deflated. You should be happy that the Witcher was here to lift the curse that had trapped your mother in this god-forsaken village, and yet all you feel is empty.
Perhaps, it was the knowledge that come tomorrow, your mother would be free, and you would still be stuck here in the same old village—so very alone.

Anon, seriously, I’m super flattered, really, but all I do is push my crackship, make weird theories and shitpost with the occasional fanfic! Queen of Ravus is NOT a title I should own!
I would be way happier to accept a much lesser ranking, let the royalty titles be for people who make actually good Ravy-oli content!
(with that in mind, please consider crowning allofeos or stephicness as the Ravus Royalty, they produce far better content such as gifs, well thought out theories and headcannons as well as photos! Also, stephicness did an amazing video edit with Ravy so please! Give them the titles! I’m too cowardly to tag rip)

1 - sad chocobros gifset - a rare moment of inspiration and this happened
2 - clack gifset - the idea was to make something cheerful for @harmonization‘s birthday but then i remembered this zack’s quote so i ended up making her cry instead :^) this work was a bit hard to color but i really liked how it turned out
3 - latest ignoct gifset - i really really love the colors of this one (episode ignis was the boost i needed to gif ignoct again and i thank SE every day for it)

Welcome Home
This was a very spontaneous idea I had in the shower when I was thinking about Nyx’s death in Kingsglaive. It’s short little fic, but the angst really packs a punch in my opinion. I’m also quite proud on how its more descriptive than being dialogue driven.
Shelter
This was a collaboration with @annaoi and another one of our many lunyx ideas which exploded in our faces into this wonderful creation that I am so so proud of. Ann and I worked so very hard on this and I could not be any happier with how it turned out!
Even When it Hurts
This is a Nyx reader-insert fic which explores how Nyx got his scars on his chest. Its angsty (no surprise there) And as a first reader-insert for Nyx, Im quite happy with how it turned out. I’m also surprised with the amount of notes it got. I also needed an excuse to write a shirtless Nyx.
Noctis FF versus XIII gifset
I had a moment where I was revisiting the old ff versus xiii trailers, and I had a sudden urge to gif it. I like how the colouring came out, and the gritty effect makes it very aesthetically please LOL

I was playing around with effects on photoshop and then this happened. It was way out of what I usually did and it took me a long time so it better be on this list XD

The feud is so old that no one can really remember what it is about any longer. It happened when Noctis was only six years old, his father would never speak of it would not be of his concern until he became Capo Familigia. At first when he was a child it bothered him Noctis wanted to know what was the problem with the other Family – the Izunia’s that his father despised so much. Now that he was eighteen he didn’t quite care about it. What really mattered was skirting classes and playing games at the arcade.
There was rumors that the family feud is something that changes often sometimes it is about hair gel, recipes, books, maps, who really owns Umbra and Pyrna or who can claim Piteous Dungeon as their own. But the actual battles amongst the families were not raged over those things any more those are just rumors that the people in the streets gossiped about behind his back when he walked down the streets to the arcade. It didn’t matter to Noctis much about the rumors or the actual battles that the Families fought it didn’t bother him in the least when Associates and Soldiers came into the manor bloodied or bruised. He was taught not to care about it…
Until the day he met Prompto Argentum. That changed a lot of things for him, the blond joined the ranks of the Caelum Cosche a few months ago. He wasn’t fitting for this life when he was finished his training with Cor Leonis the young man was set to Ignis Scientia thinking his skills would be best to aid the Consigliere in his works. That didn’t last long to Noctis’ dismay as he was able to spend more time with the man that way but now after a huge dispute with Ignis the gunner was tossed to Gladiolus Amicitia. It took a while for Noctis to befriend Prompto as the Associate was afraid of his position, that of Capo Bastone one to inherit the Family. It was understandable for him to be afraid of the title but Noctis looked cold and acted it but underneath it all he was quite chill. He just didn’t know how to express that.
Prompto Argentum could express himself so easily and freely it really frustrated Noctis sometimes and also was refreshing to see. So when he approached Prompto for friendship it was understandable that the young man was to laugh at him and then clam up realizing he just laughed at his superior running for dear life. It wasn’t until one afternoon Noctis had slipped away from Foreign Languages studies lead by Ignis to hit up the arcade, he spotted Prompto in front of the Justice Monster Five machine.
Sidling up to him peering over the lean blond’s shoulder watching him expertly kill the on screen monster until he hit the boss zone dying upon impact. Prompto had playfully smack the side of the machine grumbling about having no more tokens for the game, Noctis leaned by him placing in a few coins.
“Capo Bastone!” Prompto let out in squeak bouncing back from Noctis standing at attention light blue eyes bright and scared.
The room shushed with the whispers of ‘Capo Bastone’, no one here knew that Noctis was Noctis Lucis Caelum of the Caelum Cosche. This arcade was on the borders of his territory so it was quite acceptable for him not to be recognized when he was wearing street clothes. Sporting black skinny jeans, a crisp silver shirt with a thick leather jacket sporting the Leviathan on it, his normally smooth back jet black hair was messy and in his eyes. Everyone in the room immediately started hand over to Noctis handing their spare game tokens, their drinks, offering him compliments left and right. All fearing his family’s name, the power of the Caelum Cosche. It was stifling for Noctis turning to Prompto he gave him a deep set glare, grabbing a hold of his Associates’ wrist squeezing tightly he dragged him out of the Arcade.
“Now I need to find a new arcade to go to thanks, Argentum.” Noctis growled through gritted teeth as he walked out of the place, back into the sunshine of the Friday afternoon daze.
“I’m sorry!” Prompto shouted as he stumbled outside landing on his knees, scuffing up the palm of his hands.
Noctis expected him to cry like he did when Ignis had kicked him out of his service but he just jumped up, brushing off the grime and a bit of blood off his red skinny jeans. Noctis stopped in spot grabbing his hands, rolling his eyes he imparted some of his Lucian Granted Magic to the blond before him, the slight purple aura surrounding the wounds healing him quickly.
“Oh no, Capo Bastone I’m not worthy…don’t do that!” Prompto shouted trying to yank his hands away, this was only magic that Noctis and his father Regis could use and was suppose to be used on blood family members or significant others.
Not Associates lowly like him.
