Thank you! I use the poetry as a way of letting out the emotions that tend to bottle. I feel like it is important to not keep a lid on pain because it seems to get worse when I do. I hope I don't distress you too much! I am generally ok enough though. :)

1. When and how did you start to become interested in photography?
I have always been interested in photography according to my mom. I apparently loved using those disposable cameras as a child and would take pictures of trees and plants and sunsets. However, I didn't really start focusing on it seriously until I was 15 years old and I am self-taught. I started with an Olympus point and shoot and had a 512MB xd card (to give my age without saying it).
2. You have a great variety on your blog. What would you say is your favourite genre of photography and why?
Abstract, without a doubt because I love the way my creativity explores it. I honestly just love taking photos wherever I go and I take my camera with me everywhere as a result (even if I don't plan on taking pictures).
3. If you'd have to describe yourself as a photographer in one sentence, what would that sentence be?
I am constantly looking for new ways to see the same things.
4. What inspires you?
The beauty of the world honestly, it sounds so trite, but I try to find the positive among the bad (and there is a lot of bad).
5. You combine your photos with poetry. Tell us a bit about your process how you find out which photos and which poems match?
It is a 50-50 mixture of writing a poem while looking at a photo and writing a poem and then matching the themes I want to explore to an existing photo. Overall my intention is to create related or contradictory themes to what is in the image. For example, if I have a photo of ice I may talk about cold and numbness or I may talk about fire I cannot contain. Both those ideas are valid to me.
