Angeltober 2023 Day 14 - Blind
thinking about blind and almost blind animals due to their nature and no accidents whatsoever, moles advocated themselves perfectly this time around, specifically choosing the star nosed mole here since stars and other space like themes fit nicely with angelic beings in my opinion :)
it was extremly fun actually and more relaxing than expected to draw this lil guy

okay this is my re-design of Hexo, gave him a longer nose and turned out palms he’s a mole ogre after all.
i evolved the lore more. the flower gliders (dominate more numerous peoples of the world) think the star nose’s are of lesser intelligence because of pure ignorance and fear but stars are on par to moles just more reclusive and critically endangered. also stars are born swimmers and diggers and prefer to live in swamps and mud. while moles (also diggers) are nomads from the deserts preferring the constantly shifting sands. the mole/star language is similar, star speech being more archaic. they are both nocturnal. male and females look similar, the females being bigger. both people are matriarchal.

Have you heard about these things? They're calling them "star nosed moles" and yes, they can sniff underwater

Mokira (Electric/Ground)
The Electric Mole Pokémon
“Its vision is very poor. With the feelers around its nose, it senses electricity, searching for buried cables to nibble on.”
“It feeds on electricity, sniffing it out with its powerful nose. During lightning storms, hundreds will emerge from their burrows to feast.”
My Piklone fakemon, based on batteries and star-nosed moles! Its name comes from mogura (mole) and kirakira (sparkle)
