Itzhak (Itzik) Balti, 53, was murdered defending his home of Ofakim from Hamas on October 7th. When Itzhak heard that gunmen had entered Ofakim, he grabbed his personal gun and rushed out to find them off. As he fought, Itzhak was able to save several people on the street, telling them to lock themselves in their homes and their bomb shelters. He fought until he was killed, and was declared missing for several days before his body was found and identified. Itzhak was one of nine siblings and is survived by his daughters and two-year-old son Ari. Itzhak was “a special father who never gave up on his time with his daughters who he was an anchor for even when they were grown up,” his ex-wife Michal said. His daughter said Itzhak’s love for his people and his Zionism were his life’s mission. May his memory forever be a blessing.
Just this morning we sat over two hours in a small bathroom as terrorists from Hamas kept firing over and over.
At the same time, those same terrorists launched a surprise attack over Southern cities, killing citizens in their homes and taking others hostages.
As for now we have over 100 dead, more to be discovered, an unknown amount in Gaza, we fight for our own homes while being targeted from the land, sky and sea.
Hamas is NOT "liberators", nor "fighters" - they are TERRORISTS.
A massive Pro-Israel rally is to be held today in Washington, D.C.
If you can't go but want to participate, follow the link, to watch the rally live-streamed.
Watch, pray for the safe return of our hostages.
As an Israeli, I assure you, this means so much to us that you are going, or even watching. We feel your love, and it strengthens us.
Thank you.
Far-right Polish MP Grzegorz Braun sparked outrage after he extinguished candles lit in the Polish parliament to celebrate Hanukkah.
This isn’t about Israel. THIS IS ABOUT JEWS.
Hanukkah is literally a testament to the deep-rooted history and unbreakable bond between the Jewish people and Israel. A profound celebration of Jewish indigenousness to Israel. This eight-day festival commemorates the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem during the Maccabean Revolt against the Seleucid Empire. It is a time that honours the enduring connection of the Jewish people to their historic homeland, symbolizing resilience, courage, and the triumph of light over darkness.
A heartbreaking video of a father saving his entire family who escaped through the window as Hamas terrorists broke into their house - and he didn't make it.
