Shadow is used to being the morally grey person. He's used to being the guy that everyone yells at or doesn't trust because, yeah, he's done some sketchy stuff in the past and still does a few sketchy stuff in the present because he views it for the greater good.

And then he meets Nine. Can you just imagine him realizing that HE'S THE BETTER PERSON HERE? Just--

Nine: *shoots and kills someone who just walked in as the two of them were downloading new information on where they were*

Shadow: !!! "Why did you do that!? I could have just knocked him out!"

Nine: *stares, confused* "Why would you do that when you can shoot them?"

Shadow: *realizes Nine is serious and doesn't know why killing an unarmed civilian is wrong*

Shadow: *also realizes he probably needs to tell Nine why killing can be wrong, especially in a situation just like this one*

Shadow: *DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO DO THAT THING*

Nine: "Done." *exits out of computer and heads out the door, leaving Shadow to his dilemma and maybe shoots someone else on his way out*

Shadow: *PANICKING BECAUSE HE'S SUPPOSED TO BE THE MORALLY AMBIGUOUS PERSON, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND*

Made a Horror AU of my favorite childhood game. Drew The Three Guys Ever (Ness, Luigi, King Dedede) but like… didn’t look at references and forgot what King Dedede looked like so I just drew an actual penguin lol.

Kirby, but with a Galeem twist!

Basically, this is an AU concept where Galeem is a dying angel being, so it sends the Master Hands to choose one fighter to take its place: Kirby.

Now Kirby is controlled the power of Galeem’s light, and it’s up to the DLC fighters to save him…and everyone else.

I said this as kind of a joke but now it’s all I can think about, so here’s some ideas for the characters’ Final Smashes

Woody: either uses a large lasso to capture his opponent and fling them off the map, or perhaps summons the three aliens who use “The Claw” to pick up opponents and take them off the arena

Jessie: calls out “yodelayheehoo!!” to summon a herd of Bullseyes to trample her opponents

Ember: charges up her flame to go Full Purple and send an explosion all over the arena, scorching all of her opponents

Lightning McQueen: creates a large lightning bolt and strikes down his targeted opponent while screaming “KA-CHOW!”

Ian: grabs his wizard staff and uses Voltar Thundasir on all opponents

Flik: summons an enormous red bird to grab an opponent and feed them to its baby chicks

Joe: plays a relaxing melody on the piano that sends his opponents to sleep and heals 30% damage on himself and teammates

Mater: tows a targeted opponent and drags them around the arena, inflicting damage on them until he sends them flying off the map

EVE: emits a powerful blast from her ray gun on a targeted opponent

Buzz: summons Emperor Zurg to shoot blasts of large tennis balls at his opponents

Mr. Incredible: his super strength increases greatly as he picks up an opponent and beats them senseless in midair, landing one final powerful punch that sends them flying off the arena

Wade: drowns his opponents in a river of his tears

WALL-E: grabs an opponent and compact them into cubes along with some trash, then proceeds to send the opponent into a trash chute

Princess Atta: flies around the arena dodging large raindrops that fall over her opponents, which can cause them to drown or be pushed off the arena. She will also pick up her teammates to save them from the raindrops

Dory: bounces around on a swarm of jellyfish that float across the map that will sting her opponents

Imelda: repeatedly whacks a targeted opponent with her boot until they fly off the map

Remy: creates a fully-prepped meal that will heal 50% of damage to him and his teammates

Elastigirl: stretches to grab all of her opponents no matter how far away they are and will knock them together so they pass out (if she has only one opponent she will punch them and send them flying out of the arena)

Sulley: emits a roar so loud it shakes the arena and causes rocks and rubble to come crashing down on his opponents

Aizawa has many duties as a bodyguard, he never thought that babysitting and alternate hizashi yamada would be one of them. He knows better now.

Now? Now Aizaw is babysitting Hizashi and missing his boss. As one does when a villian fucks up your love life.

Which is how Aizawa and Hizashi find themselves tied back to back atop a goat.

Now this wasn't a normal goat mind you, this was a human who can turn into a large goat via their quirk. But still. A strange situation.

Now any sane person might be wondering how in the hell they got into this situation. Well, sane people, they also don't know.

It starts like all mornings have the last few weeks, a brief with overly sweetened coffee even by Aizawa’s standards and a serene seeming Hizashi in heels.

The blonde preens before the compact mirror as he suspects coffee. Green gazes stoney as he wakes up slowly.

"Shinsou warned me of a rising thug with a shape-shifting quirk." Aizawa says evenly, setting a newspaper down.

"Did he? How nice."

Aizawa hums, "You said your phone was still not working right?"

"I don't get any text messages you send me."

"Strange…"

"It is. Perhaps it's set up to the network of my universe?" Hizashi ponders, "I do have a different number than your Yamada."

"Perhaps…" Aizawa looks down, and he seems- lost.

"I'll have to try it later."

"Try it now. If your Aizawa is as baffled by your bullshit as I am, he'll be relieved you're alive."

"That's almost sweet." Hizashi smiles, pulling his phone out.

Opening his text messages he taps the chat labeled "Shouta ''. Because while he'd rather have a better name it's more professional.

Hizashi 6:53 am: You getting these Shou?

Shouta 6:53 am: How did you get this phone?

Hizashi 6:54 am: Shou, it's Hizashi

Shouta 6:54 am: Bullshit

Hizashi 6:54 am: *sent picture*

Shouta 6:55 am: Holy shit. Hizashi.

Hizashi looks over, "Theory confirmed, I'll have to see if I can talk to him more later. Let's handle the shifter quirk."

"You aren't going to talk more?"

"We have things to do, Aizawa." Hizashi says in a light tone.

"Right… Come along, Nemuri is waiting for us."

"I see."

Hiazashi and Aizawa both stand, making their way from the breakfast table towards the meeting room table. It takes a few minutes but once they arrive they sit down and start the meeting.

"Now," Hizashi says, "What can you tell us about Nemuri?"

Before she can answer, the door is thrown open to a frazzled teen, Ochako. "Yamada, Sir. There's a man outside demanding you divorce his daughter."

Hizashi is thourghly confused, becuas he is gay and to his knowledge is alternate counterpart is too.

He glances at Aizawa who shakes his head once, message received. Hizashi's counterpart has no wife.

"Send him in." Hizashi says.

Aizawa steps closer, because his lover or not Hizashi is his charge at the moment. And he will not lose a second one.

"Yes, sir." Ochako says, not interested in questioning it. Her boss is well equipped to handle whatever mess this is.

She just has to live long enough to clean the room afterward. She's got a lot left to do and the top of that list is not getting between her boss and his guest.

What they don't expect is a man with the bottom half of a goat to rush in, glaring and all.

Shouta sits opposite Yamada, his mind racing after being contacted by Hizashi. The proof is still on the lot screen before him.

"I'm sure that they are fine." Yamada says, "What could go wrong?"

What went wrong, sane people referenced in the beginning, is that the man with the lower half of a goat was fed lies by a rival gang. Having managed to sneak in a shifter and copier quirk, he manages to get Hiazashiand Aizawa bound.

And the man then shifts into a six foot tall goat as big around as the average couch. With the bound men placed upon him, he runs off.

Which is where we pick up, bound back to back on the large goat shifter, Hizashi and Aizawa are left to try to figure out an escape.

"This wouldn't happen if we had simply killed him." Aizawa says sharply.

"He blind sided us." Hizashi counters, "Now hold still will you?"

"What? Why?"

Hizashi does not dignify Aizawa with an answer, and simply pulls a knife from the inner flap of his jacket and begins to try to cut them loose.

But life is never that easy for him is it?

Guys, I'm pretty sure Nine has killed someone.

And I don't just mean like he killed anyone and everyone who ever did wrong by him, but he has killed at least a few of them.

I would be willing to bet money that anytime someone breaks into his lab/tries to follow him Nine either maims them, kills them, or freezes them and hides their sleeping, unconscious selves in his basement to never see the light of day again. The way he was fighting Sonic when he broke into his lab paints a very hostile picture.

Shadow is not expecting it in their initial fight. Why would he? He's expecting happy-go-lucky Miles Prower, a boy genius that likes to help people but will defend himself if needed.

What he gets is a calculating, cold-hearted, and determined fighter that almost takes off Shadow's head in the first ten seconds because Shadow had his guard down. There are no other close calls during the fight (he is Shadow and he will not hold back, unlike Sonic) but it takes him a bit to convince himself he was just imagining that deadly determined look in the kids eyes.

And then he sees the kid shoot and kill someone at point-blank and realizes that maybe it hadn't been his imagination.

okay I’ve been inspired, time to list all my versions of botw/totk/aoc link lets go

Wild (He/They): Nonbinary, LU Wild adjacent, generally who I write whenever I write for LU, kind of his own thing bc I feel as though I tend to stray when it comes to lu characterization to fit my own wants. Has the most trouble with memories and their past, has the least control over his emotions. Things like sorrow and anger hit really hard for them and they have more trouble regulating it. Still silly and GNC though, just not as confident about their gender presentation yet.

Sage (They/She): Genderfluid, HSFR botw/totk Link, really leaning into the whole death/rebirth/reincarnation thing with this one, accidentally picks up a spooky vibe because they have a skeleton horse and a big comfort cloak and is extremely good at making potions. This whole vibe what I’m leaning into for Another Second Chance, even though in that one the botw Link is still called Wild lol.

Guardian (He/Him): Too anxious to think about gender rn but is a aroace queen. HSFR AoC Link, half sheikah and it is important to his story. His life is kinda dictated by his dedication to the throne by being descended from a long line of royal knights and sheikah who have vowed to serve the blood of the goddess. Also he’s betrothed to his Zelda and on his way to becoming King/Prince Consort.

Aryll (She/Her): Cis woman (but with complicated gender feelings as she was discouraged from being feminine for a long time and has trouble feeling valued while enjoying typically feminine things, you know the vibe) My Fem!Wild/ Link AU, is the most likely to commit regicide. Had an easier time recovering memories during botw bc of her large amount of shared moments with Zelda.

Linkle (She/Her): Trans woman Link au, has a bit of an egg cracking moment when she was getting into gerudo town, don’t have much for this one, it might be where I put all my Link being close to the Gerudo hcs. Like, after sealing the calamity, she and Zelda go to live in Gerudo Town instead of Hateno and they’re real close buddies with Riju and Linkle goes to the nearby great fairy to get her gender magically transed. idk i love the gerudo and think they deserve better. (also her name could be changed i kinda made this one on a whim...)

Spirit Sage (They/Them): Fem leaning enby, totk role swap au where Link gets sent back with the spirit stone instead of Zelda, they lost their arm but the stone lets them summon a ghost version that they have to learn how to control (a feature also seen with HSFR Sage), trained under Mineru and tries to assasinate Ganondorf a few times.

Time Sage (They/He): Masc leaning enby, pre-calamity was a trans man but then their gender got pickled for a century and their ideas on gender changed a little. They lose their arm but don’t get a replacement. The secret stone they had with them amplifies their time manipulation abilities (bullet time/ sitting by the fire, that kind of thing) They have to learn to fight just as will with their left side and not wield any sort of shield. The story is closer to the canon version than the Sage of Spirit version of the au.

Gladiator (He/Him): trans man, ssbu Link, pulled from his quest pretty soon after botw. Older brother/babysitter to Young Link (MM) and Toon Link (WW), Eyes have been opened to the multiverse and he’s kinda just vibing with being kind of immortal and meeting the strangest people. ssb lore is wacky so he’s at least allies with all of the other characters, including ganondorf at in the end. Has the least amount of fashion sense and cooking ability but at least he has little brothers and is buds with Kirby.

Interesting prompt! Funny how Gogeta's normal outfit is actually similar to 1992 Aladdin's so designing an outfit for this AU is pretty simple lol. Hope you like it~
