SI. I saw this and SQUEALED because this is my favorite "meet cute" in a non canon au. It's not necessarily the most exciting, but it's the most real and applicable to my day to day. Anyway, blurb about me & Nanami under the cut 🫶🏻

I'm not sure if I have really in depth spoken about my job, but I'm 50/50 lab tech/corporate rat. And Nanami is a corporate rat himself... SOOO of course we met in the corporate cafeteria 🫶🏻 I go every morning with my coworkers to get an energy drink and breakfast, and Nanami sits at the windows and watches the cities morning traffic.

My coworkers and I are...how can I say this nicely...boisterous? Loud? High energy? So that's how I first caught his eye...by being loud and annoying. He was definitely enamoured with me from that moment forward because, like, who is that happy and loud at their corporate job? He finally worked up enough energy (the man has confidence he's just fucking tired) to come up to me one day when I came over alone and commented on my energy drink consumption (a ghost energy every morning cannot be good for me but here we are). I was soooo excited when he did this because I had been eyeing him for weeks, and the rest is history 🫶🏻 We started getting lunches together...running into each other as I run back and forth dropping off samples...Anyway yeah that's the story. I'm so glad you asked because I live in this delusion at work DAILY.

- fun fact nanami was not in the jjk0 manga that was entirely fan service

- ‘at least curse me a little at the end’ VERY important that it’s worded like that. sometimes it gets translated to ‘at least curse AT me’ which implies swearing at him/being angry BUT THATS NOT WHAT HE SAID. curses in jjk are borne from strong emotions, usually negative but gojo himself says love is the most twisted curse of all. I will explain this better when you watch s2 bc it’s a spoiler but just know gojo’s love WAS A CURSE TO GETO IN THE END so ‘at least curse me a little’ turned out to be true

Sp made borusara parallels obirin, itachi izumi, sk, and ss. All those moments that doesn't even exsist in manga or novel. They made those parallel for borusara fandom.

Sp is the only studio who can show their biasedness in anime as them flexing ichiruki, narusaku and borusara, whereas other studios like studio bones staff were flexing rengen in mob pyscho. Look the diffrence one is being toxic, biased and creating false and misleading content for audience from mangaka's original prefrence of ship. And other studios is giving a fanservice of the character they like. Same with mappa as they did fanservice for levi and gojo nanami.

Sp is a curse for manga like bleach, naruto and boruto in terms of shipping and they also totally destroyed black clover anime.

Hoping that black clover and boruto gets a new consistent unbiased studio which sticks to mangaka's work.

Only slightly I feel a good deal of the ships you mentioned could have worked out.

So true they adapt the manga and do fillers based on the teams bias that it is truly ridiculous how far they go even changing canon content. Like the anime version and manga versions are so different cause the anime misleads the watchers.

At least other studios giving fan service doesn't tend to contradict the canon content.

Yeah it needs a less bias team on Boruto and get it back on track.

BackPri

I am so angry about the BackPri project. Like seriously why use the title Uta no Prince/ss-sama??? If you want to make a girl idol group then go for it, but don't use Uta no Prince-sama to make your publicity. The only princess is Nanami Haruka and the fans, nobody else.

I am a long time fan of Uta no Prince-sama and its universe that makes me so happy. But for the first time, this universe makes me sad.Maybe for some people it sounds ridiculous, but imagine LoveLive making a group of idol guys in one go. I'm sure the scale would be much larger.

My only hope is that they change the title and the universe.I don't want that later when we think about Saotome or UtaPri we think about BackPri.

Also: introduce the project by saying "it's a April Fool's Day joke lol" and then say "in fact it's not a joke: go see the official website ;)" Just no.

Again, look at this angel. This princess is in my opinion the only princess of UtaPri.

10. fireworks ; what's something your f/o does that always sweeps you off your feet?

omg okay so uhh. i have a list:

nanami will offer to wash/ brush my hair if i'm having a low energy day. he also texts cute reminders throughout the day while he's at work (they also make him more excited to get off work and come home). HE ORDERS FOR ME IN RESTAURANTS AND STUFF AND KNOWS MY ORDER PERFECTLY. he's extremely understanding and crazy good at reading my mood when even i can't understand them (this man probably knows when i'm gonna get my period before i do LET'S BE HONEST). oh and when we're out walking, he's either holding my hand or has an arm around my waist — and he makes sure to walk on the side of the road. he also holds me a bit tighter when we walk past street lamps because i have an irrational fear of them lol. nanami also gives a lot of compliments abt how i look when he can tell that i'm struggling.
