Gggrrr aughhh grarrr I want to try to go on T but also the thought of talking abt gender stuff with my parents makes me want to squeakee mallet myself. They don’t even really get butchness.
doodled these fellas some more!! don't worry about Dizzy, she just loves the Squeakee video - whoever's saying that to her is just referencing it, and she's 100% in on the joke/playing along. no one could ever be mean to Dizzy for real! just look at her... ;__;
some gay little "design notes" below the cut
I wanna draw him with a mostly squared off mouth to mimic the shape of his grill
I wanna draw him with a mostly squared off mouth to mimic the shape of his grill
he also gets a squared off nose and slightly more squared off eyes, bc this looks good on his sloped hood
I like the way his eye covers cast a shadow over his eyes and give him a false half-lidded look, making him appear more relaxed or mature even when he's not. so I'm going to draw that in, even when I'm not coloring/shading, just to reflect that LOL
I only recently realized that he has a raised stripe(?) running up his hood in his canon design, so I added that in for a little visual flavor. idk if I'll draw it raised, but the lines alone look good
and once I figure out how to draw his back digger, I'm gonna draw it a lot like a tail. because he is Animal. it already moves around a lot anyway, just wanna make him even more expressive with it LOL
as for Dizzy!! not much changed, just decided to shorten her legs a bit. I also made her headphone kitty ears expressive, but I planned to do that from the start, this is just the first time I've actually drawn her lmao. she also gets a permanent kitty mouth, bc 1) mimics her grill(?) and 2) of course she does.
this isn't a design note or anything but I am dead set on Dizzy being a cross between a cat and a balloon dog
this is a critical emet and maer difference. if maerchen asked what i wanted for my birthday and i told him squeakee the balloon dog he would look it up and be like, "this is amazing spaetzchen let me play with it too"
After over a Year and a Half of waiting for the right moment I finally decided to get a new cat.
Meet Squeakee (my Partner chose the spelling)
A year and half ago I had to make the painful choice of having my cat baby DJ put down after her fight with Cancer took a turn for the worst and there was no more that could be done.
Electronic pets- As technology and the Internet boomed, electronic pets took center stage. The late 90s saw an explosion of electronic pets, from Furby, Poo-Chi, and Tamagotchi, children could care for and raise a digital pet. With technology constantly evolving, these forms of electronic pets fell to the wayside and were replaced by significantly more detailed and interactive versions. Little Friends video games allows kids to care for, train, and raise a variety of pets with beautiful, lifelike graphics compared to Tamagotchis; Squeakee has replaced Poo-Chi and Furby, and not only has more sounds and actions that its predecessors, but also can be trained to learn new tricks. While the basic, core goal of an electronic pet has stayed the same (allowing children to have a pet without an actual living animal), current versions have expanded the ways that children can interact and care for these pets.
