12V Automotive Relay
At present, DC 12V relay is the most widely used product with the most models and types on the market.
It can be found in various devices such as headlights, wipers, seat position adjustment, fans, and electric machinery, etc.
How Does a 12V Automotive Relay Work?
A 12V automotive relay works by using an electromagnetic coil to activate a set of contacts that control the flow of electrical current. When a current flows through the coil, it creates a magnetic field that pulls the contacts together, allowing the current to flow through the circuit. When the current stops flowing through the coil, the magnetic field collapses, and the contacts spring back to their original position, breaking the circuit.
12V Automotive Relay Advantges
Small current controls large currents.
A relay can control and protect multiple circuits.
High performance and quality at a reasonable price.
AC and DC power can be switched.
High sensitivity, low control power, and good electromagnetic compatibility.

(the snippet)
i'm so excited to post it! i think i'm about 2/3rds done? it's 18k right now and i meant for it to be much shorter and mostly an exploration of psychotic depression, but eddie's gratuitous use of pet names and inability to have any chill at all when it comes to chrissy just really induced the brainrot.

IT’S NOT THE TIME BUT LET ME HEAR
‘As much much as you liked talking to your friend, it wasn’t the time. But that’s not what Eddie thought though. And there’s no one else to look to than Henderson for never taking back the damn walkie-talkies, and you, for not knowing when to turn yours off.’
EDDIE MUNSON X GN!READER
WARNING(S): cussing, Eddie being a little shit (but nothing we haven’t seen or heard). Lmk if there are more.
“Spst.”
You shuffled under the sheets, turning over on your mattress— having yet to hear the noise.
That, or maybe you were just not having it in you to answer at a time like this, knowing clearly who it was on the other side of it. There was only one person.
“Spst.” It was static, repetitive, and with every time they sounded, they only got closer together.
“Spsssssst.”
And longer.
The use of your surname had your eyes opening on cue of it. Seeing that the said person you were referring to, was also the only one to use it.
“You up? I know you’re up.”
Eddie Munson.
If you weren’t friends with him....ugh. You still probably wouldn't have it in you to tell him something (maybe. Well, you sort of already give it to him how it is but still), even if he was really getting to you.
It’s what happens when you’ve known the other for as long as you guys had, putting up with one’s shit for some time that you’d get used to it.
He just, he was that type of person where you just couldn't stay like that with him for a while. Unless he really does something that you won't put up with….
Though when you’re trying to get some shut eye, and Eddie isn’t at that point yet— this is what happens.
Now lying on your back, you listen to him as you look to the ceiling. There are times when you’d answer— and others— where you’d wait it out until he’d shut up.
You’re still waiting for that day to come.
But with the way Eddie was, knowing him, it was never. And often, you ask yourself why you just don’t turn your thing off and just let him be.
So there you were listening to him hum, trying to make out what it was he was even humming to begin with. And subsequently to that, it was him saying your name. Repetitively.
It was sort of in that manner children would use whenever they were trying to get their parents to answer them, and then when they did, the little shits would say nothing or just shrug with a nevermind.
That was Eddie and you.
“Get. Up.” His voice lowered as he punctuated, and began using different tones as he talked. If someone else had been here listening to him— they would’ve thought his head wasn’t attached to his shoulders properly. Something you question regularly but also know he more likely thinks the same with you.
Sighing through your nose, your arm extends out— you were going to have a word with Henderson about taking these damn things back. Who by the way, was the one to leave them with you, per your friends request.
You just went along with it. You were really rethinking that now.
Pressing the button, you cut Eddie off from the conversation he was having with you (himself really).
“Munson."
There was no talking for a while until he comes on through again.
"You've got to say 'copy' after your done with what you're saying. And be sure to tell me who you are so I know who I'm talking to." He speaks and was about to hang up, though not before taking his own words in -you were sure of- and telling you copy.
This guy.
He was the one trying to get you on and for what? For you to answer so he could pull this.
The channel was still ever since he spoke, and you hadn't. This was probably the most he's gone without saying much and you were honestly thinking about turning around and leaving him (unknowingly to him) there. Though of course, that's not how it was going to be when his voice sounded.
"Hello." The vowel was pulled. "Try again. And don't even think about getting up and leaving, I'll tell. Copy." He says with lip.
Ugh. You about upped and left him.
And who was he going to tell? His Uncle? You knew Wayne would probably be with you on your side seeing as he knew how his nephew could be and get. He was more likely covering his ears and questioning how he ended up here, with him having a senior under his roof, who didn't know how to use his indoor voice. Who knows if Eddie even had one....
So, per his request, you tell Eddie who you were (cussing under your breath while at it by how childish it was) since he knows- not only because of the years you've known the other but because he was the one who was trying to get you to answer him.
Christ, he only said your name like how many times? Just to get you to reply.
There was still nothing back from him and it wasn't until you stood there waiting, that you got it.
"Copy." You imitated.
"You've got to say it as a sentence. Y'know like as a whole? Copy."
Even if you did say it as one, that wouldn't even make a sentence. Would it?
If he felt like pulling this shit then fine, you could do it too, because guess what? You didn't know who you were talking to since he didn't say his goddamn name.
"Um, scuse me? M'not sure who this is, so unless you introduce yourself, I shouldn't be talking to you— therefore I'm going back to sleep. Copy."
The last word was puncuated with an all too self-satisfied look crossing, since you used his previous suggestion against him. Just as you were about to turn it off and get back under the sheets, Eddie spoke.
"Oh, I see how it is. Shit- this is Eddie by the way, don’t leave. Copy."
Rolling your eyes and pressing the button once more, you give your name.
"Why hello there, Munson. To what do I owe you at this time because as you know, I'm trying to sleep— much like others all around you but can't because you won't shut up!"
"Pfft, so? Plus, I just had to hear my friend's voice. Y'know how I get when we don't see each other very often much less talk...." he trails off, and you just know he's on the otherside making a face.
"Eddie, that's literally all we do. There hasn't been a time where we were without each other." Your voice getting softer as you utter them.
"Hm, and it shall stay like that, you hear me?" And albeit the lightness to how they were said, you could still sense the underlying pressure.
"You have my word."
It was then you knew why you never gave these damn things back to Henderson— besides Eddie's nonstop begging to keep them— and why you never turned yours off.
Even if there was lines under both your roofs that you could use whenever.
"Oh shit, we didn't say copy." Was all you heard from your friends mouth.
Eddie had some timing, but that was something you would never ask to be taken away. That or how he wouldn't shut up. No never. Because no matter how many times he pulls you from getting sleep, truth was, there was nothing you liked more than knowing he was there.
Nothing you liked more than listening to him. How could you not?
A/N: feedback and reblogs appreciated.
