If I had a nickel for every time my favorite game starred a rapidly evolving creature who's antagonist is an infecting force that has kidnapped one of their loved ones I'd have two nickles, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.

I tried designing Gar'Skuther as an actual creature rather than just a floating fella. Text written out under break since my handwriting is crap.
(Arrow pointing to an old drawing of Gar'Skuther I did where he is a chibi-esque character in his suit.) "I'm still going to draw him as a lil guy."

(Arrow pointing to his feet.) "Able to be used as hands but not very well in most cases. Hard claws, soft pads in bottom to grip ice."
(Arrow pointing to his butt.) "Typically reproduces like fish but capable of mammal style in times of poor water condition or high predation."
"Gar'Skuther is the last member of his species. His homeworld was ravaged by climate change and war, later being completely destroyed by the enemy using a planet buster. He single-handedly defeated them, wiping them from the face of the galaxy and becoming feared amongst the galactic community. His unethical and cruel experiments are a desperate attempt to revive his species."

Why is this extremely space stage guy monologuing to something just barely out of creature stage? Like sure we can understand him but he doesn't know that, for all he's aware he's talking to a horse right now. A horse that would very much like to stomp him to death with its hooves.

strange Oogie, Babbops (red), Babbops (red, zoomed in), Babbops sporeling (orange), Shadock, Ohi, Webeek, Gorggue, Skriskrab, Salafend, Salafend sporeling, the product of a forbidden love, Buffballows, Buffballows sporeling, horror monster (Buff?), and Scrop!
Along the way I also found an oogie sporeling, which was pretty funny, but just looks like an oogie.

Behold the Skuther!!!
For years I have wanted to create a faithful, 3D-version of the “Ultimate life-form” from SPORE Creatures DS. I’ve tried for years (off-&-on again) to make a satisfactory Skuther in actual SPORE, and none of my attempts really worked...
But now, thanks to a number of recently-released mods for SPORE, such as (but not limited to) @valla-chan‘s Vanilla Parts and emd4600′s Advanced Creature Paint, I have finally made a Skuther that is anatomically, colorfully, and aesthetically accurate to the original 2D version (with a wee bit of artistic liberty added here and there).
